Bump in the Night [Archie & Xurxo ]
OOC; This is a roleplay for Archie and Xurxo. It is a Horror themed story, just as a warning~! ---- Jaxon de'Avreau woke up from a dream that he didn't quite remember. It was something where he could recognize the cold feeling hovering over his shoulders, but if probably couldn't articulate the course of events throughout it. His bed was a complete mess in his normally organized room The sheets were strewn about the place, the comforter had found a place on the green carpet. He wanted to crawl back underneath it, but he did have to get up sometime. He didn't have a job, nor was he going to school (having chosen to take a break before starting college), but he was sure there was something that he had to do. He took twenty minutes to get out of bed, showered, and dressed himself. He wore a blue tee, a pair of baggy jeans, and black tennis shoes. He kept his hair messy when he finally got outside. It seemed like a pretty nice day, so he pulled out a lawn chair and propped it up in his front yard. He stretched out his legs in front of him and relaxed back into his chair. He couldn't shake that feeling. He felt a chill run up his spin when he had dozed in his chair. Whatever was making him feel that way it wasn't going to let him sleep or take a nap out in the sun. So he decided to stay up and shout comments at anyone passing by. At least getting beat up or bantering with someone would be something to do. |
The only two people that walked by were carrying bags. They turned at the exact same time to stare at him. One was a red haired girl and the other was a blonde. They both had the same gold eyes though. It seemed like they were most likely siblings, possibly twins. "Hello," the red haired girl greeted in a monotone voice. The blonde, however, was a bit more cheerful. "Hi-hi!" Her arms swing the bags she was carrying back and forth. She was wearing a light pink shirt and pants set, while the other girl was wearing a short black dress.
The blonde stared at Jaxon, amused. "What're yooou up too?" she asked. Her long hair was up in a loose ponytail, a contrast to the smaller girl's short hair, which only went to her chin. The smaller girl just watched them, in an almost creepy way. Her eyes flitted slowly between them, emotionless. "You're new here," she said, still in that monotone voice. It wasn't a question. They'd been here for about two years and she couldn't remember ever seeing him. And she noticed everything. The taller girl frowned at her. "Meh. What's it matter?" |
"I was going to say the same thing," he frowned, in reference to the new to the place. He just sat back in his chair and toyed with the sunglasses in his pocket. He contemplated putting them on, not for any apparent reason, either. It wasn't like the sun was blinding today. He wasn't above bantering with these two girls. A blond and a redhead. At least it didn't look like it was bleached, and they had very striking eyes. Gold - he didn't really see that. It sent that feeling up his spine, the one he finally thought he rid himself of from the night before.
"I'm busying being unemployed." Obviously - this kept him extremely busy, proven by the fact that he was bantering on his front lawn and now talking to two random girls from around his town. He tilted his sunglasses down, "Well?" |
