"Sports are not my cup of tea. Music...that's fine." Curry watched her closely. Even while sitting, he had to look down at her, since he was so tall.

Lyda sighed happy she didn't have to listen to sports. "Music…what kind?" She asked curriously as she looked at him. Squirming a bit. She didn't like being so small compared to him.

Curry wrapped his arms up around the back of his head, idly. "Rock. Heavy metal. Some rock pop. Some techno, and electronica. My favorite band is Disturbed..."

Lyda nodded to be polite. In truth she knew nothing about any of those bands, or styles. She listened mostly to music from the 60's and 70's. She also really loved Jazz and musical songs. "pErhaps you could tell me about them…" She said lookig at him.

"Disturbed is a badass rock band. And I can't really explain music to you. You would have to hear it in order to understand," Curry replied, flatly. He had a passion for music.

Lyda nodded, "Maybe I'll check them out and let you know what I think…" She said smiling a bit as She watched him.

"Sure." Curry stared up at the ceiling, eyes hazy and dull. "...I'd really like to go to a live Disturbed concert before I really start rotting away in here..."

"Well I'll see what I can do...I'm not going to make any promises...." She said lightly looking at him. She frowned a bit at the mention of rotting away.

The man sniffed, and shifted. His big feet made clunking noises on the floor when he moved. He had a solemn look on his face...a quiet acceptance that he was never getting out of this place.

"Ah...well I'm sorry....but I supose that there was something you did that....well wasn't right..." She said as she slowly went through the report file. She had forgotten to read it before she came in. She glanced at it then stopped. "How about you tell me what you think you did wrong..." She said a bit warily.

"I hurt people," Curry replied, simply. He waved her off, stretching his long legs out. "It would be best for you to read that all the way through. Nothing I say will match it...all I can say is that I hurt people, for my own amusement and self-fulfillment."

Lyda nodded slowly as she took a mmentvto look down at the paper reading over it carefully. She re-read several parts nable to believe what she was reading. Like something from a horror story but not real. Ad here she was in the room with him. Chills ran up her spine.

Curry watched her as she read...watched the telltale horror dawn on her face. He knew she would feel the same as the others had. In all seriousness, children were barely any different from adults. He didn't understand how people thought of them as different in any way...

She placed the file down as she slowly looked up at him. "Um…well I don't know what so say…Th-things like that…happen…" She said shocked a bit as she watched him.

"...Going to give me some high-and-mighty speech about how inhumane I am?" Curry asked, point-blank. "Or perhaps you'll take the more religious route, and condemn me to the deepest pits of hell for my actions...go on. Let me hear it..."

His file indicated that he had had therapists before. They had probably said similar things to him.

"No…" She said taken back a bit. "I just want to know why kids…I don't see the appeal…they are whiny and unclean…" Sje said softly. For what ever reason Lyda didn't really like kids.

"They're fine once they shut up," Curry replied, smartly. "Trust me. In case you didn't know that. I'm not that fond of adults...kids are better. Much less judgmental."

"I didn't…I'm an only child no cousins either…so I haven't spent much time with kids…" She said trying to ignore the possible sexual undertone in what Curry had said.

"My childhood was stuck with adults. Real assholes, all of them. So, I prefer kids...can't stand adults, usually. There are some exceptions. Very few, however..."

Curry seemed to be bored with her, already. He wasn't even looking at her.

Lyda nodded thinking silently making notes in her to write down later. She didn't feel judgemental about it, just awkward about kids in general. "Hmm....maybe I'm wrong about kids..." she said thoughtfully looking at Curry.

"Perhaps you are." Curry yawned widely, rather rudely. "You know what I'm really craving right now, for some reason? Peanut butter and apple sandwiches..."

Lyda nodded. "That I can do…" She said using a pager to request the food which showed um rather swiftly. She smiled handing it to Curry, "There you go…"

Curry took the pager, eyeing it curiously. He held it out to her. "You didn't have to. But, thank you." He stretched himself out a bit more, then closed his eyes. "I suppose it'd be fruitless asking for a ticket out of this place, eh?"

"Yeah that I can't do…not for a while at least…" Lyda said looking at him.

Curry made a face, and again shifted where he sat--he hated sitting still, it seemed. Someone such as him would do a lot better having something to do, constantly.
