val smiled slightly 'Well i guess people dont see that in themselves do they?' he rested his head on the table and closed his eyes 'Some people have reasons to hate themselves though.' he kept his head on the table and sighed, then sat up, and then stood up, walking over to the sink and pulling a glass out of the cupboard 'You want a drink?' he said in a dreary tone

Jessica watched him sadly. He was most likely the most sadest person she'd ever met. Not sad in pathetic but sad. She shook her head when he asked if she wanted a drink. She sat down at the table and playing with her fingers.

'kay,' he put down the glass. He dident realt feel like getting a drink anyway.
'Well im very pesamistic,' he mutterd and looked out of the window. It looked cold outside, And the clouds looked like rain.
It was rather iritating as it was so nice earlyer in the day.
'Lets hope it deosent rain, hm?' he muterd to himself.

Jessica couldn't comprehend what he was saying so stayed quiet. She lifted her legs up in a crosslegged indian style. She stretched up and yawned lightly. It'd been a very long day. A very very long day.

he looked up at the clock, it was a few minuets past 10pm. 'doesn't time fly' he said stretching and yawning 'Might as well go to bed...' He muttered sleepily, and looked at her 'Wait... Where 'you gonna sleep?' he said scratching his arm, thinking.
There was his bed, That was being used by him , The sofa in his bedroom, The sofa in the living room, The futon in his bedroom... and the floor wasn't really an option.

Jessica nodded and stretched out her arms the length of the table. "Oh um.... Don't worry about it. I'll sleep on the floor." She was used to sleeping on the floor anyways. It hurt and wasn't that comfortable, but she was used to it. You did what you had to do to prolong being found by Uncle... She stood up and stretched, a small smile on her face to tell him that honestly it was okay for her to sleep on the floor. She didn't want to sleep in a room alone....

Val walked onto his room and pointed at the sofa, 'there is a sofa in here. Dont worry, Its pretty clean realy...' he walked over and jumped on it to sit down, and bounced up and down for a moment before getting up again 'I have a blanket and stuff, so you dont have to worry about it.' he almost smiled and looked at her, Waiting for a responce.

Jessica followed him, looking at him warily. She bit her lip and nodded slowly. She didn't want to be a bother. "Yeah. Okay." She smiled lightly.

this toime he realy did smile. that was odd for him to say the least. he jumped up and walked out of the room 'im gonna get you something... a blanket a pillow and so on.' he mumbled as he walked out, when he came back he handed her the pillow, a new cover for it and a blanket. he also brought a think blanket to put on the sofa.
he nodded at what he had done. It looked quite nice and neat he had to admit, he turned to her and scratched his head
'Hope thats okay... and if you need anything, just ask.' he faced the sofa again. admiring his work of art.

Jessica waited for him to come back with the pillow and such. She sat down on the floor indian style and waited. When he came back he began to assemble it for her. She stood up when he spoke to her and nodded. "Okay." She squeaked nervously. She stood tall though, determined to be able to sleep alone. She went to the bed. "Thank you for today Val...."

val smiled and nodded, walking to his own bad and sitting down on it, he leaned back, closing one eye, and looking around the room with the other eye. He hoped she whould be okay, he dident sleep much anyway so he whould probably be away the whole night. It was better this way, Rather than her sleeping on the floor, even though she said it was okay he dident like the thought of him being so mean to a guest.

Jessica looked at the sofa and then around the room. It was lonely and dark. She took a deep breath, shaking lightly. She'd be okay. Her uncle didn't know she was here. What was to be afraid of? She moved the top blanket aside and layed down. She rested her head on the pillow and cuddled in the blankets. She closed her eyes.... She layed awake like that for a few moments.... A few more moments....

graven dident sleep at all, there where a few knocks to the door that made him jump, But he ignored all of them.

When morning had finaly come, he sat up and rubbed his eyes, wondering if jess' was awake or not, he stood up and wobbled into the kitchen, He pulled out a bottle from the fridge and drunk most of it and set the bottle down on the table, then sat down and messed with it for a while

Jessica finally fell asleep, only to have a nightmare. She was running down a hall that never ended with her uncle chasing after her with a rope. She tossed and turned and finally she woke up with a scream. Thunk. She had fallen off the bed.

val sighed and sat up, walking to the room, he knew it was nothing seriouse because he had closed the door before, and it was an old door so he whould have heard anyone if they ca...- he rushed over to her and picked up up so she was on her knees 'woa, are you okay?' he said worried, he thought something had fallen off the wall or something.

Jessica looked up at him, shaking. She nodded slowly. "Y-yeah..." She muttered. She began to stand up using the couch to help her. She hated this. She was afraid, always afraid of him.

graven stood up with her 'you sure' he said pushing her lightly to sit on the couch, he sat on the floor and sighed, rubbing his head 'you sure scared me then, i thought something had just fallen off the w-' he was cut off by a knock at the door, he sighed again and stood up, brushing off his knees and turning to walk to the door.

Jessica nodded. She hadn't meant to scare him. And she frowned. He hadn't cared about her. He'd cared about her breaking something of his. She sighed and then watched Val get up to get the door. Who would be there?

The door knocked again 'alright alright wait a minuet...' he sighed and when he got to the door he was about to open it when he heard something... he waited to hear something else... Another knock and then a voice 'Vaaaal!~' he heard the voice moan at him, he stopped, and sighed again, she had heard him so it whould seem odd if he dident open the door, he opend it suddenly with an angryish look on his face 'I thought you said you have given u-' he was cut off as she jumped at him and hugged him, making them both fall to the ground, 'Ow, ow ow' he moand and ppushed her off 'Hikari!' he souted at her, He knew it was her from the sound of her voice. she just sat up and crawled back to him though, lying on him and hugging him, he pushed her off again and stood up, stamping his foot in a playfull anger 'You said you gave up!' he shouted at her. she stood up and messed with some of her hair before answering 'I cant give up on you!~' she souted and jumped for a hug again, he held his hand out and her face laded right on his hand, she jumped back and held her face 'oooowwww...' he moand eyes watering 'why did you do that?' she shouted at him, he ignored her and pointed to the now open door, 'Outtt...' he ssaid like an angry cat

Jessica turned around on the sofa and rolled her eyes. This poor girl kept coming back and coming back. She felt bad for her. The poor girl only wanted Val to be with her. Maybe she wasn't going about it in the best way but hey, she was trying. Val just didn't like her very much at all. Sighing, Jessica layed back onto the couch and rubbed her face. She needed a change of clothes badly. She stood up and turned, beginning to go towards the bathroom so she could fix herself best she could before trying to face it at home. She had no money, was hungry, and badly needed a change in clothes.

val put his hands on each side of his face but a few inces to the front, and stuck his fingerd out like clwas hissing at her like a cat, she stood and pointed, laughing at him then she sotpped and stood still, val stayed in the same place flexing his fingers with his tongue stuck out, then he stopped and sighed 'What do you realy want from me, anyway?' he said tapping his foot she looked at him with wide eyes for a moment then looked down blushing slighlty 'i want to be with you... Just everyda..' val sighed again at that, then laughed for a moment slighlty 'You always wanted something from me, it was never that simple was it?' she looked at him and smiled 'Im not going to give up till i got you you know' she pointed at him with one finger 'I will get youuuu~' she hang dancing slightly val sighed AGAIN and tapped his foot 'You will, Im busy' he said looking right at her 'Your so childish' he said and walked past her, Knowing she whould leave, and she did
'She is such a bother' he sighed 'But she is entertaining i guess...' he walked back into the bedroom and sat on his bed

Jessica stopped to watch the two and blinked. Poor girl. She knew what it was like, sort if. She had liked boys before. She just never said anything to them. She was just shy like that. Honestly she kind of wished she had what Hikari had. The 'balls' to tell the guy you like that you like them. Sighing she continued to the bathroom where she cleaned up.

he almost imidiatly stood up and wanderd back into the kitchen, Pulling out another bottle and drinking some. He sure was thirsty today. Just out of curiosity val walked over to the bathroom and called out to jess'
'Hey, whens your birthday?' he said leaning on the frame and drinking somre more. He needed something to talk about and this was something that just popedn into his head.

Jessica popped her little head out from the bathroom door. Her birthday? "In two weeks!" She called out before closing the door and finishing up. Her birthday. She almost never got to celebrate her birthday. Not enough money. Even with a big house like that you'd think they were rich, but they weren't.

Val was shocked, he dident know it was so soon 'ohrealy?' he asked 'and how old 'ya gonna be?' he asked trying to continue the conversation 'we can have a big party if you like, But i only have a few friends so it wont be that... Big... Do you have any friends we could invite over?' he asked, still not even knowing if she wanted a party.
