Astrid yawned and stretched as she walked down the road, Adam next to her. "Where are we going, again?" she asked for the fifth time. She knew, she just wanted to piss him off a little.

Adam sighed in frustration. "We are going to visit an old friend of my father's. He has a house out here, as well as several interesting pokemon. I want to say hi since we're over in this direction."

"Ah. I see." Astrid glanced down at her first pokemon, her Vulpix, and grinned. "Guess it's a good thing I was getting tired of staying home all the time, huh?"

"Yes, I guess so." Adam glanced at her, wondering how he ended up traveling with her, but he didn't voice his thoughts.

((Did we have a plot for this?))

Oseye heaved a sigh of annoyance as she stormed down the road. Why were the grunt so... thick?! They were incapable of performing even the simplest of tasks without cocking it up. So here she was, the only Rocket of the party not to have been caught by Officer Jenny during the raid. Seiously.. how could three look outs miss the blue haired policewoman approaching their temporary camp in the woods? Rolling her eyes she checked the shoulder bag she was carrying before slowing her pace, trying to seem as inconspicuous as possible.

Isabella truly adored taking a stroll with her Pokemon like this. Growing up she'd been unable to leave the house without company, damn over protective parents.. But for her sixteenth birthday her grandfather had given her his most prized Pokemon - Arcanine. The Pokemon was a retired Police Arcanine and greying around the edges, but he was great company. Humming softly to herself, Bella walked leisurely down the road, heading into the next city with the large canine Pokemon at her side.

Astrid shook her head a little. "Hey, look! There's someone up ahead!" She started jogging to catch up, eager for the extra company. "Hey! Wait up!" Vulpix let out a little yip as well.

Adam groaned and shook his head, walking at a much more sedate pace. He was in no hurry to get anywhere, not at the moment anyway. He glanced back briefly and saw someone a few hundred yards back on the road, which wasn't unusual. He continued to walk along at a leisurely pace.

((I guess not =/ ))

Shoving her hands into her pockets, Oseye continued along the path. Once she reached the next town she'd fly back to headquarters with the information she'd gathered but for now, she heaved a bored sigh and watched the two trainers up ahead calling at another girl.

Arcanine was the first to notice someone was calling them. He glanced over his shoulder and noticed the girl running towards them with a Vulpix. Slowing his pace, he eventually came to a stop seconds before his trainer did. Bella turned to look at the female and her Pokemon, a soft smile on her lips. "Hello."

((sorry! I got distracted! XD Anyway, we hadn't discussed a plot, but I would be more than happy to make one now. maybe something about a legendary or rare pokemon?))

"Hey. I haven't seen anyone else on this road for a while, and I was getting bored." Astrid grinned at the young woman before her and stuck out her hand. "I'm Astrid, and this is my Vulpix." The Vulpix yipped a greeting to the two in front of them.

Adam sighed and jogged briefly to catch up with them, shooting Astrid an annoyed glance. "Sorry about her, she seems to be permanently stuck on a sugar high, or something. I'm Adam."

(( =p Yeah, I think we're going to need one. Hm. A rare or legendary like what? ))

It wasn't rare to come across other people while travelling, but it was rare that someone stopped her like this purely because they were bored. "Oh, well its nice to meet you all." She said, looking between Astrid and her Vulpix, then to Adam and back again. "I'm Isabella, though you can call me Bella." She smiled down at her companion. "And this is Arcanine.

((hmm... Well, like the legendary dogs, or the birds, maybe.))

"Nice to meet both of you," Adam said with a nod. "Where are you headed? Anywhere in particular?"

Astrid grinned, pleased to be meeting new people. She nodded to both of them, listening in curiously. Maybe they could travel together for a little while.

((Yeah, but have them doing what? ))

Where was she headed? In truth, nowhere in particular, she'd just wanted to leave the house and stretch her legs. Maybe head into town for something to eat. "No, I was just out and about for a walk. How about you three?"

"Headed in to the next town for supplies before we take off again. I've been traveling for a couple years, and that idiot joined me about a week ago." Adam rolled his eyes as Astrid moved ahead of them, skipping towards the town with her Vulpix trotting next to her. "I swear she's insane."

(( Hm? ))

Bella watched Astrid bound ahead with her Vulpix, then turned her gaze back to Adam. "I'm sure she's not that bad, she seems to have a very care free nature." She said, walking alongside the male as she spoke.

((maybe have them showing up more often so trainers are trying to get them, and maybe Team Rocket can have some evil plans about trying to catch them and sell them, or something of the sort.))

Adam chuckled quietly. "That's one way to put it. You, on the other hand, seem pretty down to earth." He smiled at her. "Would you like to join us for lunch once we get to town? We can even walk back with you, if you want." He kind of hoped she said yes. She seemed like good company.

"I am just myself." Bella replied with a slight nodd of her head, smile seemingly glued to her lips. "That would be very nice, though you do not need to walk me home, I don't want to be a bother." The town was close now, the buildings were coming into view.

((Could do, though I'd rather do something that didn't involve the legendary Pokemon. A new group or something, I don't know.))

((Yeah. Hmm. Well then maybe a new criminal group that starts competing with Team Rocket?))

"No problem," Adam said with a nod. "I don't mind. It would be a nice walk. Besides, it gives her a lot of room to run around. Then maybe she won't be up until the middle of the night."

((Could do. Or maybe Rocket join up with one of the other groups and wreak havoc? xD ))

"Well, in that case, thank you." She offered the male a smile as she stepped into the town with him, Arcanine still walking at her side. "We can only hope. Have you not thought about battling her? Perhaps that would tire her out?"

((Oooo, that's a good idea. I like that idea.))

"That's the very first thing I did," Adam said with a sigh. "We met and we battled, and she was still chipper afterwards and wanted to know if she could travel with me for a while." He heaved a sigh, a martyred expression on his face. "She reminds me of my sister."

((Or we modernise Team Rocket a bit and have them turn into a modern day mafia sorta thing xD ))

From the sounds of it, all Astrid needed was to find someone more interesting to tag along with. "She does? Perhaps thats why you allowed her to travel with you?" She asked, looking around at the buildings as they walked. Now all that was needed was for them to find somewhere nice to eat and having been here several times, Bella had tried pretty much everywhere. "Did you have anywhere in mind you wanted to eat?"

((Either one of those is fun))

"Maybe. And no, I can't think of anywhere in particular. I've only been here once before, so whatever you think is good." Adam shrugged. "Once you decide on a place, I'll go run and get Astrid."

((Or mix them both up. Rocket and this new team join together and become the Kanto mafia? xD Kanto mafia sounds funny.))

"Very well." Now where would be a good place for them all to eat? Perhaps somewhere that wasn't crowded or too fancy. Just a light lunch, that was all she wanted. Aha! She knew just the place. "There's a little cafe just down the street from here, they've the best home baked bagels I've ever tasted."

((it does sound funny. and I like that idea!))

Adam nodded. "I'll go get Astrid and meet you over there." He gave her a quick smile and went to go get Astrid, motioning over to the cafe. Astrid headed over, at a much more sedate and normal pace, while Adam followed her.

((Yeah =) Though what shall we have them do? Once we've worked it out I'll bring my other gal back in.))

Bella gave a slight bow of her head and started towards the cafe she'd just mentioned. It was a nice little place, the sort of cafe that would usually be found out in the countryside. Around it was a beautiful garden, its flowers still in bloom and currently being tended to by an overly cheerful Roselia. Heading inside, she picked a table suitable for them and sat down, waiting for the others to join her. Arcanine sat on the couch like seat beside her, made especially for Pokemon.

((hmmmm... Well, we can have them start demanding ransoms from high-power people.))

Adam sat down next to her, leaning back in his seat. "I like this place. It's nice. Homey." He glanced around the garden before settling down.

Astrid settled in across from them, Vulpix sitting next to Arcanine with a little yip. She smiled. "I like it here too. I'll have to remember this place."

((Okay. Well what town are they in? ))

Bella nodded in agreement. It was nice and homely, this was part of the reason she usually came here for lunch. She looked between the two fire Pokemon and smiled, they did look comfortable. "Here, have a look at the menu's." She said, handing both Adam and Astrid one of the menu's from the center of the table.

((How about Celadon City?))

Adam nodded his thanks, looking through the menu. "Do you know a good place to get Pokemon food? I'm running low."

Astrid leaned back in her seat, trying to decide what to eat. "I think I saw a few places. We'll have to take a look around."
