"A little those I am still confused. But its ok I don't think there a way to expalin it any better then you did already." He smiled to Léan. "Those its kind of cool those in an odd type of way." He shurged. "So how do your people live do they ahve citys like we do?"

Léan had to think about that for a moment. "...Some do. But some, such as myself, are nomadic and move from place to place. There are others who live by themselves in a small group, and function much like a pack of wolves."

"Why do you live by your self arn't you lonely?" adam asked Léan he really wanted to know so much more about the guy he like. adam toss another log on the fire to help keep it going as he rested in his bed looking over to Léan .

"I prefer living alone. I don't know how to explain it, other than it's something that a social person could never wholly understand..." Léan replied, absently. His mind was focused elsewhere, though he was still paying attention to what Adam was saying.

"I don't like being alone to much. i think I would go insane with out some form of companeship." He did not say human contact due to the fact he was talking with a merman who was keeping company. "Can you tell when the weather going to change? I know some animals can but I'm not sure if Merpeople can do that,"

Léan arched an eyebrow. "That is something I cannot do. I get a bit antsy when I know storms are on the way. I can tell when there are earthquakes close by. The same for tsunamis. But that is the extent of things I can sense, per se."

Adam nodded. "Well that still more then I can do. I mean well some time I can smell when it going to rain but really not that saying much." Adam laughed. "So what can merpeople eat? Beside fish?"

Léan yawned, idly. "We can eat anything, I suppose, that is not toxic...I don't eat human food, since I don't live in the human world. I do eat fish, seaweed, and some species of coral. Crabs are good, as well."

"Can you eat things on this island?" adam wonder? "Maybe some thing I could make you so you won't have to hunt all the time for both of us. I want to try." He smiled.

"If there are fruit trees, those will work...I don't mind hunting. I enjoy hunting," Léan added, pointedly. He did enjoy hunting--it was a fun past-time for him, and he liked to hone his hunting skills as often as possible.

"really you like it? Huh.. why i guess that your form of enterment I mean back home we have tv and games and movies but I those type of things are not in the water. well maybe some game but not the ones I am think of that use power. So what else do you do for fun?" He smiled. Adam wanted to know as much as he could about Léan.

Léan seemed puzzled by the 'TV and games and movies' comment, but he brushed it off. "Hunt, sightsee, tease the local wildlife. My options are limited because I am both nomadic and solitary."

"Tease the local wild life?? Isn't that crule to do Léan?" He blinked but then again he was right he was limited to what he could do being in the water." Adam just smiled as he learn about Léan more and more.

Léan chuckled. "I don't harm any creatures...playing with them is different. I play with dolphins and seals--dolphins, mostly...even sharks. The only sea creatures that aren't fond of merpeople...would be rays. Manta rays, sting rays...any kind of ray."

"Why don't they like you? I mean if your friends with sharks which surisped me. I would think they would want to eat you as a yumy dinner or some thing." Adam said.

"I'm not quite sure. Rays aren't fond of any merpeople, unless they are raised by hand in captivity and kept with that particular merperson all their life. They are not kind creatures..." Léan offered, lowering his eyes slightly. He seemed to be growing bored.

"Mmmm that weird.." Adam thought this was all really interesting to him. He still wonder why the ray dislike them but it seem there was no answer to it. Adam looked to Léan ready to ask him another question but saw the look in his eyes and sighed. "Am I boring you?" He wondered if the think that made Adam interested in Léan people now made Léan bored. Adam thought about this for a little. In his head he came to a different answers but it only he didn't know what could be the right answer.

Léan shook his head, at once. "Not really. I'm just not used to sitting still for so long. It will take some getting used to..." He shifted a bit. "Ask away--it's quite all right."

Adam smiled to his friend. "Hold on let get get some water to drink I'll be right back." He walk out side to one of the other left cup and untied it. Then down it before tieing it back up and walking back in. He tied the door shut and lauhed. "Its still raining." his hair was wet again. "Ok the did I asked about your family yet if not do you have any?"

"I have an identical twin brother. And...that's it."

Léan had a single parent left. But that parent was not considered family to him anymore...his father was an asshole at his finest, as well as a terribly abusive and nasty man.

Adam nodded. "Wow a twin that sound cool. I don't have any brothers or sisters. Just my mom and dad back home." He look around the house and over to Léan and smiled. He could not beleive how good looking the merman was. "is there any thing I could do for you to help you sleep better."

Léan's tail flicked back and forth, slowly. "No...no, I'll be fine. I suppose we just need to rest for a while...we are both exhausted, you see..." He seemed like he was still tired, but was unsure of sleeping. He often sang in his sleep...and he didn't want anything strange to happen while they slept...

"I guess.....We should but I want to make sure your comterble before we sleep because you seem uneasy." Adam said as he laid back under his own towel blanket.

"I'll be fine...just, try to resist if you hear me singing. Sometimes I sing in my sleep, and I can't control it..." Léan revealed, worriedly. He didn't want anything to happen. Nevertheless, he settled down to rest for a while.

"Then tie me up then so I can hear and nothing will happen between us." He smiled. "I still have the kelp you brought up why not use it to tied me down?"
