Léan's arms automatically went to join Adam's, and they wrapped around his body as well. He kept one arm there and then brought his free hand up to rest on top of Adam's head. When their eyes met, Léan sensed that another opportunity was nigh. He wasn't sure if Adam wanted him to take it or not...but he figured there wouldn't be a more perfect time.

He leaned forward and down just a bit and tentatively pressed their lips together.

Adam blushed as he felt Lean lip press agesit his. He pressed his lip tigher agiest Lean lips. He like the the feeling alot and his arms roam over Lean back. Adam heart raced quicker.

Léan's tail flicked back and forth slightly and tilted his head slightly to the side. He didn't want to push it...not yet. He would let Adam dictate how far they went at any given time. After all, he didn't want to take things too far and end up regretting it later.

Adam smiled whent he kissed ened and rest his head on Lean chest. He was happy like this and looked up to Lean letting him know that. He didn't need to say any thing his emotion were very clear. "Lean? Could we.. maybe lay next toeach other to night? I mean not do any thing i jus tlike this feeling of being close."

Léan patted his head, returning his smile in an affectionate sort of way. "We can. I would not mind doing something, but that is your call. I have a feeling it is far too early to even be thinking about doing anything..."

"Yea...... its to soon for that..." He blushed thinking about it and kind of buriing his head in to Lean chest. He little nibble on his own lip. "But I want to cuddle if that ok to do? I mean its just for tonight because of the weather... and not wanting to be far away..."

Léan nodded, shifting a bit so the two of them could lay down where they were. He would be fine out of water, as long as he wasn't out for more than week without even touching any water.

Adam cuddled in to Lean as they lay there. He pulled his blankets over them to keep them warm. "Well you be fine sleeping out side of your puddle I made for you?" He was happy being held but he would not put Lean in danger just to be comferble.

"I will be fine," Léan assured him, gently. "I promise. My scales will get just a little dry. Water will fix that for me." He curled up with Adam closely, draping his tail along the other's body.

Adam smiled and kissed Lean softly. "Good night" He smiled and rested his head on Lean chest. This was the best feeling ever to be so close to the person who made his heart race this way. Soon the smaller male was fast asleep.

Léan nodded, idly. "Good night." He held Adam as he fell asleep, not quite ready to join him just yet. He laid awake for a while longer, listening to the wind howl and the rain pound against the roof. He finally curled up a little tighter after about a half hour and then fell asleep.

By monring the storm was over and Adam was just waking up in Lean arms. He did not move because he like this feeling and he smiled. He cuddled more in to Lean just enjoying this feeling.

Léan did not wake up just yet. He was out like a light, his usually stressed and blank features relaxed and soothed. He was so peaceful when he slept...

adam heart raced happily seeing how peaceful Lean work. Adam smiled then softly kissed Lean cheek to wake up him softly. "Its time to get up hun."

Léan groaned and playfully attempted to swat Adam away. "Five...more minutes..." he complained, wearily. His eyes weren't even open yet.

Adam giggled and nuddled Lean and kissed his cheek agaain. "Come on hun Let gets up now." He hugged Lean happily enjoying this,

Léan sighed and finally sat up, his tail flicking around absently as he tried to shake off the sleep. "...Ah...I should be better, now," he murmured, stretching his arms up above his head.

"Your cute when you just wake up sleepy." Adam moved over to his leaf with the fish in it then put the fish on a stick to heat it up to eat it. Once it was warm he started to nibble on it. "would you like to try some cooked fish?"

Léan stretched himself out a bit, allowing his tail to drop into the water hole he hadn't slept in last night. The water was nice and cool and felt good on his tail. "No, you eat. I prefer raw fish," he encouraged, a smile on his face.

"Ok then" He smiled as he ated the warmed fish. He smiled and nuzzled agiest Lean "How did you sleep last night?"

"Well. The sound of rain and wind is soothing to me...I happen to like storms," Léan admitted, honestly. He liked the sound of storms in the distance, mostly because he could not be too affected by them when he was underwater.

Adam finshed his fish then kissed Lean cheek. "I'm glad you slept well I think if I was not in your arms I would have been very scared of that storm." He quitly admitted than hugged Lean softly.

Léan rubbed Adam's back reassuringly and then ruffled his hair playfully. "I suppose that means I acted as your guardian?" he chuckled, amused.

Adam laughed and cuddled Lean. "Yeah I guess so but your soo much more then that to me." He smiled.

"Good." A simple word, but strong enough to indicate his feelings. Léan had never had a mate before. It was a nice feeling. There were no such things as boyfriends, girlfriends, husbands, or wives underwater...the only term merpeople used was mate.
