The trio followed Cloud to the empty table and they all took a seat. While Leon set the bags down and tried to make room for his feet, Yuffie ordered first.

"I want the biggest sandwich you do! And a coffee."

Aerith smiled faintly and then shook her head. "I'll have tea and a bagel."

"Oh, and bucket of water and oats for our pack mule." Yuffie piped up, giving Leon a pat on the back.

Cloud wrote down their orders silently. But stopped at the last one. That one made now sense. "We don't serve that last one here." he told the girls before focusing on the boy. "What would you like?" he asked him specifically.

Yuffie burst into laughter at the waiters response. Did he really believe they wanted oats?

Sighing, Leon looked to the waiter and gave an idle shrug of his shoulder. "I'll have a bagel too, I think."

"Alright. I'll be back later with your order." Cloud said. He went and gave the order to the cheif. Then he went back to waiting other tables.

"Cloud! Come talk to me!" Tifa called to him from across the room.

"Just go away!" he called back.

With a simple nodd, Leon watched the waiter walk away then turned his attention back to his female companion. But then he heard the call. Cloud? That was a name he hadn't heard in a while.. though perhaps it was a different Cloud?

Cloud went and got their order. He went back over to their table and set it down. "Is there anything else I can get you today?" he asked.

Yeah, must have been a different Cloud. It had been so long since he'd last seen him anyway. Dragged into a discussion with Yuffie and Aerith, the time flew and their food soon arrived.

"Hey, Leon, pass the sugar!" Yuffie, already as hyped up and energetic as could be, really needed more sugar? Rolling his eyes, Leon handed her the sugar and watched as she began to add several large spoonfuls.

"No, I think we're okay for now." Leon said, tearing his gaze from Yuffie to look at the waiter as he spoke to him.

"Alright. Just call if you need something." Cloud said. He went back to walking around. When he passed Tifa, she pulled him down in the seat next to her. Every time he tried to stand up, she pulled him back down.

"Talk to me Cloud!" she said, whining slightly.

"I'm trying to work Tifa. Leave me alone. Besides. I don't want to talk to you. I want you to leave me alone." Cloud told her.

Leon nodded and watched the male walk away, he then turned his attention back to the girls and his food. Leaving them to chat between themselves, he ate his food, occasionally pausing to glance around and several times his gaze fell on Cloud. There was something familiar about him.

Tifa whined some more, but eventually let Cloud up. He went back to what he was doing. Which was refilling cups of water and coffee. Every few minutes, his eyes would go back to the clock. 'Not much longer now.' he thought, relieved. He couldn't wait to get out of here. When there was five minutes left in his shift he went back over to the table where the two girls and boy was sitting.

The trio ate in silence. Well.. Leon and Aerith were silent, Yuffie on the other hand, wouldn't shut up. They were soon finished with their food and planning their next course of action.

"Let's just go home." Leon suggested, not wanting to get dragged around the town once more.

"But that's boring, Squall!" Yuffie used the males real name, one very few people actually addressed him by anymore.

"It's Leon." The male quickly replied, frowning at her.

Cloud looked at the boy. He had definitly heard that name before. But not for a long time. He went over to him and stopped in front of him. He exaimed him carefully. He was extremely familiar. Though he couldn't remember from what.

"Squall, Leon, what's the difference? Your miserable and a killjoy regardless." Poking her tongue out, Yuffie stood up to leave.

Leon stood up, eyes rolling at Yuffie. His attention then turned to the waiter now stood in front of him. "What?" He frowned once more, not liking being stared at like this.

"Have we met somewhere before?" Cloud asked. "You seem so familiar." he added. There was something about this man. He knew they had met somewhere before. He was sure of it.

Now how was he supposed to know if they'd met before? While he couldn't recall seeing his face recently, there was a familiar feeling nagging in the back of his mind. "I don't know. But you do seem familiar."

"You seem familiar to me as well." Cloud said. "I might as well introduce myself. My name is Cloud Strife. And you are?" he asked. Maybe if he knew the guys name he would know why he seems familiar.

Cloud Strife? That certainly rang a bell.. but he hadn't seen his young friend since he left school that day. Looking at the male now he could certainly see the resemblance to his old friend, the blonde hair and blue eyes. "I'm Squall Leonhart."

Cloud was surprised by that name. He knew he heard that name before. It was the name of his old childhood friend. He hasn't seen or spoken to him since he moved. "Squall Leonhart, huh. I knew someone with that name, years ago. Haven't seen him since then though." he said.

"Yeah, I know the feeling." Squall said, folding his arms firmly across his chest. "I had a friend who moved away." Though he wasn't stupid, what was the chances of this actually being a coincidence? As far as he knew there was no one else with his name in this area and he'd lived here all his life. Though would Cloud put two and two together?

"I used to live here a long time ago.." Cloud said, thinking. "What was your friend's name, who moved away?" he asked. He had to be sure. If this guy said that his friend's name was his name, then he would be right in his assumptions. He was sure that this guy was his old friend.

Was Cloud being serious? How many Squall Leonhart's had he come across in his time? Obviously there had to have been one where he moved to, otherwise.. well. Heaving a somewhat annoyed sigh, Leon spoke again. "Cloud Strife."

That confirmed it. This guy was definitly Cloud's old friend. He had personally never expected to see him again. Though he should have known better, coming back to this town. "Then I guess that makes me your old friend. Unless you know another Cloud Strife." he said.

Yes, because obviously there were dozens of Cloud Strife's wondering around. No.. Leon shook his head to rid himself of the thought. Why did shopping with Yuffie always put him in a bad mood? He should have been used to it by now. "Seems so."

Cloud smirked slightly. "Well...I should be getting back to work." he said. And with that, he flipped his bangs out of his face before walking over to a nearby table. Then looked up at the clock. 'Finally.' he thought. He took off his apron and put it behind the counter.

"Yeah.. I won't keep you." Leon replied, watching Cloud return to work and then sighed. Yuffie and Aerith were ready to go too, they were already heading towards the doors having already paid. Grabbing the bags, he turned to follow after them.
