kyle opted not to take the drink at first but then drank it, not because he wanted it, but because, it was rude to refuse hospitality. "I do understand that, what I don't understand is how this applies to me." Kyle didn't have an Aces skills. He was a decent swordsman and average magician, nothing extraordinary.

Titania watched the boy down his alcohol. Perhaps I shall have him meet one of the Aces to help.
"I won't lie, there are better soldiers than you out there. Most of them in the Aces. But right now, you have something that some others may not. Magick." She paused again, pouring herself and the boy another cup.
"Most of the Aces are half bloods." She said outright. "The few that are human are ones that have shown extreme potential and strength." Titania gave a reminiscing smile and said "Two of them are even women." Of course, that sounded strange coming from her, being a woman herself. But the military also held bias against women and didn't allow many, if any, in. She herself was a very special exception.
"Right now, we suspect we are facing a very powerful Magick user, Ares. I know for a fact that the rest of the military won't stand a chance against her. She's very powerful." She continued, her face solemn. "We are hoping that those with magical abilities will be able to withstand her." She looked at the boy, surveying for a reaction.
"In other words, my Aces will be front line. We've never needed more than 21 before, but we need it now. That's why I'm hoping to recruit you."
----------
A human girl had appeared right after Ares was about to ask a favor from Ceres. Damn.....interrupted.... But before getting annoyed, something about the girl had caught her attention. She seemed to be in disguise, but the way she acted and talked ,and how naive she seemed, made it evident she was royalty. And she looked familiar. Ares smiled.
She sure does look a lot like her grandmother. Ares knew that she was the princess. Has she not heard the rumors of me being in town? Does she want to die?
"excuses me miss how much is this harp?"
Ares watched in silence as she continued to rub ointment on herself. It's fine though, the humans don't need to worry just yet. I don't plan on doing anything anytime soon.

Kyle took the cup and drank its contents, more slowly this time. He nearly choked when he heard that the Aces were halfbloods. No wonder there were so few. Halfbloods were a rarity. After the initial shock he said, "Where do I sign?"

The boy seemed to understand. "Where do I sign?"
Titania placed her but back down. "Not just yet." She said. "You're going to train with one of the Aces for now. Being an Aces isn't an easy thing and you still have a choice." She gave a simple signal to the guard right outside the door, calling him over. "I hope you understand that you'll almost inevitably die out there."
The guard arrived. "Summon Elric." Titania said simply to him. He bowed then left.
"Elric is half fae half human, just like you. He'll help you be able to control and use your magick better. And from now on, you'll occupy a room in the Aces sector. I've already instructed someone to move your belongings here. The guard will show you to your room.
((I'm going to create a profile for Elric :P))

@Royal Randomness: It's fine that once.
The little royal girl was surprisingly naiive, but Ceres wasn't about to agitate the witchling in her tent so she decided she should get rid of the princess as soon as she could. "The harp is worth forty pieces of gold," it was actually worth much more than that, but she didn't feel like enduring a haggling session when she had a potentially dangerous guest. There was not much she could do to save the girl if she irritated Ares enough for the witch to wish to act against her, as elves' magic was more healing and nature-based rather than offensive.

"the harp is only forty peices gold gold" said the lady alexandria's face lit up as she took out the amount needed and handed it to her 'wow what a great price' she thought to herself she was excited that she could et her nanny something for she felt kinda bad for worrying her all the time she knew she only meant well. she then took up the harp thanking the lady and left starting on her way home.

Kyle followed the guard giving a salute to Swift as he left. When they arrived at his room he realized that his sleep here wouldn't be any easier than at the castle. The guards had bought over very little belongings although that's ask he had. People expected Aces to the greatest thing to happen to the kingdom. In reality it was a group of misfits. No one liked half bloods yet people praised them in battle.

Taking the gold from the princess, Ceres watched her leave and head back home. Though she was not careful at all and was obviously going in the direction of the castle. Shaking her head, the elf wondered if the girl was just sheltered or spoiled, then decided it was probably both after a moments' thought. After all, she left the castle without any kind of guardian whatsoever and seemed to be quite unused to traveling unseen. With an internal roll of the eyes, she banished the royal from her immediate thoughts and turned her attention back to Ares, watching her finish with the medicinal ointments and bandages. She thought about maybe going back to her work, but her concentration had been disrupted by the unexpected arrival of the princess, and she felt she should probably let her thoughts settle lest she ruin the instrument irreparably.

kailani searched the castle looking for the king when she didnt find him she asked a guard he told her he was in an important meeting .
'tomorrow i shall tell him' she thought and started to make her way back to her room she placed her hands on the wall and hummed softly to her self as she walked throughout the corridors.'it will be ok " she whispered to herself before she entered her room she thought about the princess. 'i wonder what she is doing'she then decided to go check in on her, but when she arrived she wan't there 'ill just wait till she gets back' she thought as she sat on the bed and waited
alexandria slowly made her way back to the castle carrying the new harp that she would be giving nanny when she returned the closer she got to the castle the more she smiled she was using the alley ways when she finaly made it to thecastle she snook in throught the passagways and made her way back to her room and opened the door that would lead her inside when she went in wnd noticed Kailani sitting there on her bed when she entered her room kailani smiled at her.

Ares saw the royalty quickly make her way out. By the time she'd left, Ares had already finished applying ointments and was giving the bottles back to Ceres. She smiled, and gave a stab at making light conversation.
"She doesn't seem to be a pheasant." She said, her eyes lingereing on the entry flap of the tent. "By the way she acted and spoke, I'd even dare to say royalty."
Ares knew that the king's family name was Lirkins, but what she wanted to do required a person's full name. There's a lot of information about oneself that a name can hold. That information can be unlocked through the use of prophetic and psychic magick. Ares toyed with the idea of bringing the princess up in the light conversation, but decided it would be safer not to.
She felt a little distraught that she'd let such an opportunity slip her. But it worked both ways; since she didn't use magick on the princess, people should still be relatively unaware of her presence.

alaxandria came in placing the harp on her vanity and sat down beside kailani she looked at her and remembered how earlier she had a vission. "good evening" "good evening" kailani replied smiling'i wonder if she would tell me' she thought to herself hmm. she hopped up and ran back over to the vanity and got the harp and brought it back to kailani "look at what i got for nanny today from the merchant lady" she said smiling
Kailani looked up as the princess came inside she watched as she came dropping something off she came towards her and sat beside her "good evening" said the princess "good evening " she said back to her.
she sat there as the princess got up and went back across the room she had droped something off earlier and now she was getting it the princes came back across the room when she sat back down she held out a harp for kailani to see, she said she had gotten it for her nanny "thats marvelous dear that is very nice of you to think of your nanny that way " she smiled at her and gave her a small hug.
"may i see it for a moment ?" kailani asked the princess said yes and handed it to her.
Kailani played the princess a song and sung as she softly played the strings.
the princess was shocked when kailani started playing the harp she didnt know she could play, 'she's way etter than nanny' she thought when kailani finished she asked her when and how did she learn to" you play so beautifully kailani you sound better than nanny" she giggled as kailani explained how she began playing the harp.
"When i was young my mother used to play the harp, she was verry good at it and i learned from her " kailani was happy that the princess liked her song and handed the harp back to her

Taking the items back from her remaining guest, Ceres gave a noncommittal hum and placed them back in their proper place. Since the unexpected intrusion was gone and there was no more danger to her, the elven girl returned to her stool to gaze once more at her new instrument, taking the wood in her hands and caressing it with her fingers. She wasn't quite ready to resume working on it, but she could plan how to finish it whilst holding it. "I have a feeling, young witchlet, that you aren't really particularly interested in that little girl," it wasn't really much of a question, rather a statement of her observation of her guest's complete disinterest in the human princess. "How are your wounds?" A safer topic, as she didn't want to further alienate Ares.

kailani and the princess stayed up chatting it up till they both grew tired "Nanny will love it" said kailani as she smiled at the princess she stretched and got up. "its about time for you to get your beauty rest my dear " as she said this she poked the princess on her nose
bouncing around happily the princess thanked kailani whom soon got up and told her that she should be heading to bed "aaaaaw kai no not yet a few more minutes" she said as a yawn escaped past her lips.
she pouted and whined as kailani started for the door.
"aaaw don't do that " she walked back and started to tickle the princess who started rolling about and laughing madly. "roar im going to eat you" kailani said as she continued to tickle her.

Kyle Woke up soon after he fell asleep. There was a loud knock at the door and Guards said, "Kyle Alan Sadjiin? It was reqeusted you be headed to the training grounds."
"Says Who," Kyle grumbeld, he didn't like being awoken. When the guard answered it was very timid and scared. "NO ones sir, it was merely a suggestion."
"Ok I'll be down."
When Kyle Looked around, he noticed a sword adn armor was laying on the table next to him. The sword was very much like the sword he'd practiced with at the Castle's armory. "Nice." He picked up the sword and strapped it on but he opted not to were the armor. It would slow him down and his magic would protect him. He came out and a young guard, probably younger than himself, said "Why are you not in you're armor, sir?"
"Don't need it." and he walked away the boy didn't follow.

kailani stayed with the princess untill she fell asleep and quetly got up from her bed and made her way back to her own room.
Upon arriving to her room she changed into soething more comfortable and sat on her bed taking her hair down and brushing it as she sung softly to herself "Win dain a lotica
En val tu ri. Si lo ta. Fin dein a loluca. En dragu a sei lain. Vi fa-ru les shutai am. En riga-lint"
with a sigh she stopped singing and braided her hair up and placed it into a bun and looked at herself in her mirror.smiling at herself she walked back over to her bed and sat down and hummed the rest of the song softly.

(( Just posting to let you all know I'm still here. Though poor Sil is lonely...))
After his daily argument with the baker about his heritage, and the dirty looks from other shop-keeps, Silthrik made his way home with his meager provisions. He tore off a chunk of bread as he walked back into his dim shop, the warmth of the furnace washing over him. Sighing and tossing the bag of food onto a counter, he plopped down on the lone chair in the room, his eyes falling on the soft red glow of the coals.
Eating in silence, he forced his mind to clear of the human's usual taunts and insults, instead focusing on his crafting. Once his finished the bread, he went to one of his work tables, taking the chair with. Soon his mind was at ease as his hands nimbly working over a delicate silver pendant.
The piece hailed back to the elegant designs created by his father's people, the thin pieces of metal gently holding a blue-green gem in a gleaming embrace. Soon the pendant was polished and resting on wool, awaiting to be attached to the matching chain he then turned his attention to.He was able to block out the rest of the world as he focused on the shimmering tiny rings of metal, the sounds of the market fading as he almost drifted off into his own little world, hands busy and mind calm.

Kyle walked silently down the deserted back-streets No one walked these roads and he knew why. Robbers commonly prowled these roads and would ambush naive travelers. The robbers stole everything. They were ruthless. He Never bothered to hide from them, although he did have the ability to. He didn't fear them. o one attacked him, but he did see a robber attacking a young woman, not much older than Kailani who was probably escaping the crowds of the main streets. He came closer to the struggle and pulled he sword out, making sure it made a very loud noise. The robber ran off and so did the woman after a quick thank you.
A little while later he passed a shop that caught his eye. It had a various assortment of weapons hanging in its windows. He knew immediately that the swords were elven, or at least partial so. He decided to go in and say "Hello there!"

Sil's ears told him of the young man's approach far before he called out. He gently laid the silver chain on his work bench, turning as he stood to greet the visitor. "Welcome to Canad Sul, metal-smithy, what can I interest you in today?" He said, giving a smile that didn't reach his eyes. He looked the boy up and down, Immediately not expecting to make a sale. It was rare that such young people have enough money or bartering items.
He then saw the blade that was strapped to the young man's back. His green eyes widened a bit as he stared at the delicate construction of the hilt and cross-guard, his eyes fixed on it as he studied the engraving. Blinking once or twice, he looked back to the man's face, hoping he did not seem too rude.

In the morning kailani had awaken from her sleep, she hadn't remembered falling asleep.
Slowly rising from her bed she got dressed and ecided she should leave the castle today.
After getting dressed she made her way to the exit where a guard claimed the honor of escorting her around town.
outside the castle she nodded at the guards at the gate and they opened the gate letting her and her guard leave.
Outside of the gates the town seemed pretty busy in certain areas, she wanted to stop by a few shops and maybe buy a thing or two , she lovved looking even if she never bought anything and she had heard that there was a new shop open so she wanted to check it out.
As her and her guard started off there day walking about visiting different shops kailani thought of the princess'maybe i should get her something' she thought to her self.
After stoping by three places she had no luck at finding anything interesting enought to buy the princess.
drawing closer to the new shop she turned down the alley and walked towards it when she arrived she made her way inside.

Sil fought hard to not roll his eyes, here the boy was asking, even though his ears were very obviously not human. "I am a half-elf, but I am a metal smith, not an apothecary." he said, shaking his head slightly. " If you looked into some of the smaller curio shops around here you could find at least a charm to help, though I'm not sure they are completely trustworthy." he sighed, trying to offer at least a bit of help. " If you don't mind me asking... what are your ailments?"
