Ari couldn't control her tears and she hated it. She tried to reason with herself. She had known him for a day, why was she so attached to him. She had just nearly put her life and Rai's in danger. What had she been thinking doing something as stupid as putting herself back into a royal spotlight? He mother would surely find her then. Sighing she relaxed in the tree enjoying the height, as being high up had always calmed her nerves. She sighed as the light started to fade from the sky. She would have to go home soon.
Rai looked back and forth between Crim and Fyre and sighed. She knew Ari would not be happy if she brought Fyre along with her to find her. "You won't stay here if I asked you too, would you Fyre?" Rai sighed and walked back to her room, getting out her sword and strapping it to her side. "It might be better if you didn't come." Rai nearly whispered. Felix was happy as he looked at Em when she put her cape on. Money exchanged hands and Felix held his out to Em again. "We have gotten some information on Ari and Rai, we have to go check it out. We can come back whenever Kisa tells us to tomorrow." Felix waited for her to take his hand and smiled at just the thought. Kisa chuckled. "You are very welcome. Stop by any time in the morning." Smiles and bustles them out the door. "Go, get busy." Giving each of them a hug she smiles a little. "Good Luck in finding them, I hope you do before your mother does." |
Fyre growled at the thought of staying home. "I want to go. I can't stand the idea of her being out there alone." He said. He was so passionate about her even though they just met. "But..I..guess..I could..stay. If you think it's the best." He said, it was hard for him to say it. He wanted to be around her so much, but he knew that they would need to keep some space between them. He raked his hands through his long hair, stress making him tense. He started to pace around the room, growling slightly.
Crim felt the tension in the room. He sighed, knowing how hard it was for his brother to back down. Fyre was hot headed and tended to rush headlong into things. He was pleased to see him actually trying. "Fyre, come help me with dinner." He said, grabbing her brother by the arm. He was hard to pull away at first, then he finally let Crim pull him along. Looking at Rai, Crim smiled. "Find her quick. Fyre isn't someone who we want upset." He said, chuckling slightly. "Be safe, Rai." He gave her one last look, then lead Fyre out of the room. Empusa gave Kisa one last hug before she took Felix's hand. Her face was lit with a smile so wide, her fangs showed. "Let's go check it out!" She said, giggling slightly, she was so happy and excited to be with Felix again. She felt so at home with him. She watched him, her mind running wild with thoughts of him and having a family with him. She shook her head, trying to clear herself of the thoughts. It was time to work, time to earn all the nice things they just bought for her. She didn't want to disappoint them, she took a deep breath, focusing on her training. Old memories made her shiver, making old scars ache. She couldn't help but think of her past master. She hated him so much, but he was like a drug. She pushed him from her mind, not wanting to ruin her happiness. |
Ari rests in the tree. Unsure as to what she should do now she figured she should head back. She wanted to return to Fyre's side, but she wanted to help break his cruse. With a sigh she climbs higher in the tree perching carefully on the highest branches and watching the sky as the sun set. She could at least travel easily hidden in the dark.
Rai sighed and pulled the cape around her shoulders hiding her wings. Returning to the kitchen she sighed and looked at Fyre. "Let's go." She said to him. She kissed Crim's cheek and smiled a little. "It will hopefully won't take very long." Heads for the door and glances back at Fyre. "I will let you come, but you need to follow my rule. No names. You are not allowed to use my name or hers while we are looking for her." Frowns a little and leaves through the door. "Point me in the direction of your kingdom." Felix felt her shiver and he knew it couldn't be from the weather. Wrapping his arm around her pulling into his side as he led the way to the house on the edge of town. They had heard from a Mrs. Codbo that she had sold her house to two girls, on a blue haired elf. |
Fyre turned when Rai walked into the kitchen. It felt like a heavy weight was lifted from him when she said he could come with her. "I promise, no names." He said. He grabbed his cloak, and rushed out the door. "My Kingdom? That way." He said, pointing to the east. "Why would we be heading that way?" He asked, confused. Then is dawned on him, she headed out to find his father. "Oh...that.." He muttered, knowing what she was trying to do for him. It made his heart ache for her even more.
Crim looked over his shoulder at Rai as she took Fyre with her. He smiled after them, and went back to cooking. He made quite a meal, it was a simple by the standards he grew up with, but he knew the girls would love it. It was a simple stew, with potatoes, carrots, beef, and some spices to make it kick. He also prepared a fresh salad, and a apple pie. He grinned at his food, he loved to cook so much. He often spent time in the castle's kitchen with the royal cook, learning everything he could. Until his father found out, luckily the cook didn't get in trouble. Empusa felt better as he put his arm around her. She felt so safe with him, like he would never let anyone hurt her. As they neared their destination, Em caught a whiff of angel, fae, and elf. She wrinkled her nose, the angel smell was slightly different than most angels. She looked at Felix. "They were here." She said to him, her duo colored eyes serious. |
Ari hadn't moved from her perch and she sighed as the sun slowly sank below the horizon. She felt it then, the small tingle that started in the back of her head. They were getting close to finding her. Slipping down into the tree again she sat quietly thinking of what to do as panic started to grip her. If they found her, they would drag her back home to her mother. Staying in the tree was her only option right now. She wanted Fyre with her, she wanted his comfort. With a small sigh Ari didn't notice when the tears started to fall down her face.
Rai smiled weakly at Fyre. "I know Ari very well. If you told her, what Crim told me, then that is the first thing she would do." She had already started heading in the direction when she felt it, they were close. Without thinking twice she grabbed Fyre's hand and ran. They had reached the house and Felix hugged Em close to his side before knocking on the door. They could have burst in, but he wanted to hide Ari, not get her captured. Vice was worried as they approached the house. Ari was always a flight risk, she would run even if it was them. IF they managed to keep her calm and talk to her things would be fine. He knew there was someone in the house, but he couldn't tell who it was. |
Fyre considered it for a moment. It was crazy to think that she would go and try something like that so soon. Before he could respond, Rai grabbed him and took off. He didn't know why, but something was scaring her as it was scaring Ari. He needed to find her and quick.
Crim had been setting the table when there was a knock at the door. "Strange...we weren't expecting company..." He said, moving from the kitchen to the living room. He peeked out of the window, seeing three figures at the door. He opened it slowly, finding two elf males and a blue skined succubus demon. He was thrown off a little by the girl's eyes, her left eye was the same shade of Gold that he and Fyre had. "Hello there, how can I help you?" He asked, being as polite as he could. There was something off about these three, but he couldn't put his finger on it. Em clung to Felix as they reached the door. Her body was on edge as they knocked, not knowing what to expect. When the fire fae answered the door, she was surprised. He had the same golden colored eyes as her left. She bit her lip, wondering what that meant. She never knew who her father was, and her mother was killed shortly after she turned 3. She shook her head slightly, shaking away all those thoughts. She watched quietly, smelling elf, angel and fire fae strongly now. This was the place where their sister was hiding, she was positive about it. |
Rai had been running for a few minutes now when she suddenly thought of Crim and that stopped her in her tracks, dragging Fyre to a halt with her. She looked back towards the house and debated with herself now. If it was Eldawen or Vice even they wouldn't hurt Crim. But if it was Vera that was sent after them. Rai shuddered at the thought. She was now torn between finding Ari and making sure that Crim wasn't hurt. She paced back and forth a few times and was about to go after Ari until she was run into and both her and the person fell to the ground. Going to get up and seeing it was Ari she hugged her tight as they sat there on the ground. "I thought I lost you." Rai said with a small chuckle. "Don't you Ever go running off on your own again!" She looked her over worriedly as they stood up. "Someone is here."
Ari had been sitting in the tree with fear washing over her as she felt her relatives close by. If she stayed here chances were they wouldn't find her. They might get to the house, but Rai would sense them and get out quickly. That was when the thought struck her hard and she dropped down out of the tree and started running hard towards home. Her family would torture Fyre to get information on her, she couldn't let him be hurt. She wasn't paying attention to where she was running and plowed into someone and they both ended up on the ground. Arms wrapped around her and they were familiar. "I am so glad I ran into you!" As they stood up Ari hugged her tight and then turned to Fyre and threw herself into his arms hugging him tightly. "Oh thank god you are alright." Rai smiled as Ari threw herself into Fyre's arms. Now she knew that Ari would be taken care of she turned back towards the house. It was time to get Crim. "Take her and run. Do not go back to the house until she knows it is safe." With a small smile Rai starts running back to the house. Felix nearly sighed when he say a fae open the door but he was certain that this is where Ari was. "Hello, My name is Felix Astelle, this is my brother Vice and our companion Empusa." Felix smiled at her and purposely did not give her last name, he wanted it to be his last name that she had. "We are looking for my sister, Arianna Astelle and our friend Railyn. We were told that they bought this house. We were hoping to find them home. Are they here?" Vice looked the fae over and he worried a little. What if this fae was one of the assassins that he brother sent after Ari, or a thief, or murderer. Vice was so worried about Ari he couldn't even sense her but he could feel Vera and she was closing in on this town. IF they were to manage to protect Ari they needed to find her soon. |
Fyre wasn't sure what was going on. He watched Rai as she seemed to be conflicting with herself. He wasn't sure why she was so scared and looking back towards the house. As they continued on bumping into someone, Fyre stopped when she fell, going back to her. Before he could react in any way, Ari was in his arms. He wrapped her tight in his arms, holding her close. "What's going on, Ari?" He asked, watching as Rai runs back to the house.
Crim looked over the three, a soft smile on his lips. "Nice to meet you. I'm sorry, but my brother and I own this house. I don't know anyone by those names." Crim said. He could feel Rai's uneasy worry and her fear. He knew that he shouldn't let them know that they were here. "There was a couple of girls who looked at this house, but they moved on to a different place. Or at least that's what Mr. and Mrs. Codbod told my brother and I." Crim added, opening the door a little wider so they could see that it was only him in the house. Empusa could smell the angel, it was strong. She pressed against Felix, drawing letters into his back, telling him that the angel was coming back. She wondered why Felix didn't give her last name as he had given his full name. She liked his last name, it sounded beautiful. She smiled at the fae, trying to figure out a way to stall in order to see if the angel shows up. |
Ari was clinging to Fyre when Rai took off. Smiling slightly at Fyre she kissed him lightly. "You promised no names." Giving him a tight hug she then turned and ran after Rai. If it was Vera they were both in trouble. She couldn't let Rai be captured either. Rai was running back because Crim was still there and Ari couldn't leave Crim behind to be hurt either, it would hurt Fyre. Ari could run slightly faster then Rai so she caught up to her quickly. They rounded the last bend and Both stopped to a stand still as they saw the three people at the door with Crim.
Rai looked to her side as Ari caught up to her. They had rounded the bend and both stopped dead in their tracks as they saw the three people at the door with Crim. Rai was already starting to pull her sword from her sheath. "If they make a single move I will kill them." Stalking forward slightly with Ari at her side, she had her bow ready, Rai took another good look at the two men and a slow smile spread across her face. "Do you realize who they are?" Felix felt Em's writing on her back and sighed looking at fae. "Listen, I don't mean to be rude, but don't lie to me." Felix wasn't sure who he was or why he was living this his sister and Rai but he needed to find them and now. "I know my sister is here. We can sense her. I don't have time to get into all the details but we need to find her right away." Felix rubbed a head against his temples. Aaron and Vera were getting closer, it would only be a matter of days before they arrived here. "Please, I need to find Ari and Rai." Vice nearly growled at the lie and he started looking around as he felt Ari close by. "She is coming back. Both of them are coming back here Felix." Vice walked out slightly into the road and looked one way and then the other hoping to catch a glimpse of Ari or Rai. The figures that stopped near the bend of the road had his heart soaring with hope. Spreading his arms out he yelled out to them. "Ari! Rai! Come here!" Ari shared a look with Rai and both dashed forward throwing themselves into Vice's arms. Ari was hugging him tightly and looked at the other two people with him. "Felix!" In near tears Ari rushes from Vice and over to Felix throwing herself into his arms. "We were so worried. What if it was Vera or Aaron?" Ari sighed knowing that she was going to have to explain everything to Crim and Fyre now. She wouldn't have a chance to explain it to him as she wanted to. But now she was going to have to tell him about being a princess and cursed and that she might put his life in danger. She was so worried about losing Fyre because of this. "I am glad you found me first. How far are they behind you?" Felix had watched as Ari and Rai had thrown themselves into Vice's arms. He was so relieved to see that they were both alive and well. He smiled as soon his arms were full of Ari and kissed the top of her head. "I am so glad we found you first." Hugging her tightly Felix sighed. "A few days at most, but if we can manage it Vice and I will shake them from your trail and send them off into a different direction." Smiling at her he reached out and squeezed Em's hand. "This is Empusa, we have hired her to help us out." Ari smiles at the girl and nods her head in greeting. Sayo growled as she stalked through the town. This assignment was a pain. Simple enough but a pain. Tracking down the black winged cousin of hers was so easy. Sayo didn't want to deal with this. It would be simple to kill the girl and have her assignment be over but that wouldn't do her any good anymore. Michael was slowly starting to push her to far. After her latest encounter with her grandfather she wanted nothing more than to disappear from the world, she was hoping that she would be able to hide from Michael for a while. Knowing that it wasn't possible and that her hand would be forced Sayo took the mission. Killing the girl would be easy, but for once Sayo was tired of killing. Getting a room at the inn for the night Sayo went straight to bed, she would start her search in the morning. |
Crim's red eyes seemed to flash when the two men spoke to him. He wouldn't betray Rai or Ari. He knew they were running from something or someone. "I am not a lair, my good Sir." He said, his tone going from it's normal gentle smoothness to a harsher, more dangerous tone. He was about to shut the door on them when he sensed Ari and Rai approaching.
Fyre frowned as she took off. He followed after her, catching up shortly after the two girls went running towards the house. He jogged up, standing behind her as she hugged the elven male named Felix. His eyes caught the samiliarity between them and recoginzed it as a sibling bond. He could feel Crim's worry, but after seeing the greeting between them, he knew that these two men weren't a threat to Ari. He stood behind her quietly, his hands in his pockets as he watched the scene, until he caught sight of the demon girl. Her eyes were the oddest thing he'd seen. She had one ruby red eye and her left was golden, not just any golden either. It was the gold color of a royal fire fae like he and Crim. Fyre returned his gaze to Ari, fear of him losing her gripping to his heart. What if these two took her away from him? What would he do? He wouldn't be able to live without her, he wanted to be around her forever. He felt such a strong connection to her, he would feel empty without her. Crim tensed as the girls showed up. When they came rushing to the men's arms, he relaxed a little. He smiled at them as they hugged and spoke. He opened the door wider. "Why don't you all come insider and we can talk. I've made a lot of food if you're hungry." He said, standing inside. He wanted them all inside before more unwanted guests showed up. He wanted to get to know Empusa more, find out about her parents. He also wanted to know why the girls were so tense until the realized who the men were. He also wanted to find out Rai's past, there was so much he needed and wanted to know about her. He was deathly afraid of losing her. Empusa smiled at Ari as Felix introduced her. She held onto his hand, listening to them speak. She didn't really know the complete details of why they were looking for her and her black winged friend. She was glad that they had found her. Her eyes were caught by the fire fae standing behind Ari. He looked the same as the other one, but he had long hair. She could see that he had the same golden eyes as her left and the other fae's. They were obiviously twins, she wondered why they were also there. Em felt a shiver go up her spine. Someone was speaking about her. That wasn't a good sign. Her tattoo just under her belly button began to sting and burn her. It was her assassin mark, that could only mean one thing. He was talking about her. He wanted her back, she shivered again knowing that he would come for her very soon. She looked back at felix, a sad smile on her lips. She was happy that she had him in her life, even if it would be for a short time. Aleister Von Stein paced in his study. His prized girl was gone. Slipped out into the night and to somewhere far from him. He wanted her back, he was quite upset at the men who were suppose to be watching her. Of course those men were now dead, tortured in the most merciless way posisble. He wanted his toy badly, he had tension he needed to take out on her. She was surprisingly a durable creature. Most women and men who succumbed to his sexual torments usualy died after a few years. But the little demon whore, she could take a lot. The thoughts of the past made his lips twist into a dark smile. It was the smile of a mad man, much as Alesiter was. He was part dragon and part elf. His mother was an elven priestess and his father was a red dragon. It caused him to be rather beautiful, yet very cruel. He loved causing pain and suffering to others. He was ruthless and power hungry, he wanted everything and everyone. What he wanted now, was Empusa. She was his and not to be away from him. He would have to go find her now, he was going to have to punish her for that. "I'm coming for you, my pet." He said to the opened window. |
Felix was so happy that they had managed to find the girls, and while the fae had offered dinner he needed to decline. He had looked the twins over carefully and decided that he could entrust them to watch over the girls for the night. Slowly releasing Ari and pulling Em back against his side with his arm wrapped around her he smiled at the fae. "I am sorry, we must decline for tonight. If we stay for much longer it will only put the girls in danger. I will have to ask that you look after them for now. We can come back tomorrow to talk." Felix had felt Em shiver and he held her as close to him as he could and kissed the top of her head, he knew something was wrong but he wasn't able to tell what it was. "I do not know how you managed to meet my sister and Rai, but if they are living with you they must trust you. So I will as well." Felix gave Ari a quick hug and kissed her head. "We will be back in the morning, Stay here, please."
Vice had been hugging Rai and reassuring her while she was crying a bit when he felt them. He was glad Felix had made his decision so quickly. "Go inside Rai, take Ari with you. Do Not leave the house. Do not go to work or anything." When Rai nodded Vice sent her off towards the house and glanced back at Felix. "We should be heading back to the inn now." Vice smiled and bowed slightly to the two fae. "We must ask that you take care of our dear princesses. We have to leave." Vice stood and turned heading away from the house. "Now Felix! Em!" With one last nod to the group Felix and Vice started back to the inn, Felix keeping Em pressed close to his side. Ari was still tense as Felix and Vice left with Em, but she realized that they were here instead of Vera and she relaxed a little as she wrapped her arms around Fyre. "We should get inside." Giving him a small peck on the cheek she turned and headed into the house and entered the kitchen taking a deep sniff of the air. "Crim this smells wonderful!" Ari was so nervous she didn't know what to do with herself. She wasn't sure how Fyre was going to react, she wasn't sure how she was going to tell him. She stood in the kitchen staring blankly at the table for a moment hoping that no matter what she told him he wouldn't run from her. Rai had hurried into the house and given Crim a quick kiss as she passed him and headed for her room taking off her sword and composing herself quickly before heading to the kitchen. "Ari is right, this smells wonderful Crim." Smiling brightly at him she started undoing Ari's weapons as she stood somewhat zoning out. "And I smell, Apple Pie I think." Rai grinned. "That is my favorite." Rai was sure this was all going to get ugly very quickly. She couldn't lose Crim now and she had a feeling that things were heading in that direction. They were going to have to explain so much to the boys and she wasn't sure where to start. Her and Ari were sharing the same fear of losing them right now, thankfully Rai didn't freeze up as Ari had. |
Fyre watched as the two men left with Empusa. He was confused and in shock. His arms went around Ari automatically as she hugged him, but his mind was flying a million thougts at once. Ari is a princess? She was running away from her family? She's in danger and she didn't tell him about it? He ran a hand through his hair before he returned to the house. They had a lot to talk about tonight, he just hoped that whatever was going on would be quickly resovled.
Walking to in the house, he came into the kitchen and went to Ari. "What's going on?" He asked her, putting a warm hand on her shoulder. Worry took over him, when she seemed to be frozen in thought. Once Rai had removed all her weapons, Fyre took her in his arms and held her. Crim smiled at the girls as the commented on his cooking. He shut the after taking another glance around the outside of their house. He returned to the kitchen, moving in close to Rai. "What's going on, girls?" He asked, taking a seat at the table. He motioned for them to sit down so they could have this talk that was bound to happpen sooner or later. He watched Rai with worried eyes and a warm smile. He won't ever turn away from her, not now not ever. Empusa held onto Felix as the left the house. So many things ran through her head. The fire faes, the burning of her mark, Felix, everything. She felt so tired. She knew her happiest time would end soon. She wanted to make the most of it, wanted to take him in her arms and love him deeply. She just hoped she would be able to wear the dress Kisa made for her of Felix's favorite frabic. She wanted to wear it at least once for him. She lost herself in thought as they went back to the inn, until the scent of another angel hit her. "Felix...there's another angel here..." She said to him. Aleister stalked throught the woods, he was getting closer to his prey. He wanted to take her back as quickly as he could. She was usually so well behaved and did what she was told. He didn't understand why she would all ove sudden act out against him. "Ungratefully little bitch." He said under his breath. He reached a town that was bustling with many different type of folks, this was where she would be. He just knew it. |
Ari was having a hard time getting her thoughts straight but when warm arms wrapped around her she clung back burying her face against Fyre's neck. She was safe here in his arms and she knew that here nothing could hurt her. She took a deep breath and inhaled his scent, it calmed her down so that she was able to step back after a minute and give him a weak smile. "We have a lot to explain to you." Ari said as calmly as she could, but her voice broke a little as she took a seat. "I honestly don't know where to start. I guess, I should start with who I am. My name is Arianna Astelle. I am the 7th Princess of this country. The two men who showed up here are my brothers, Felix and Vice." Ari was starting to worry again, what she was about to tell them could put them in danger as well. "I...ran away from home and now my family is searching for me." Ari fell silent as she tried to think of how to explain.
Rai sat quietly next to Crim and let Ari start explaining. Ari had to tell her story first in order for her to get to her part in this whole thing. Her past had many sins in it and she was worried what Crim would say when he found out. She squeezed Ari's hand for encouragement and tried to fight back her fears. They needed to know if they were going to be able to protect them. She couldn't let any harm come to Crim. Felix kept Em close to him as they headed back to their room at the inn. "Another Angel?" Felix frowned at this information but he couldn't remember any angel assassins that were sent after the girls. "That should be fine, at least until morning." Getting them into their room Felix closed the windows and curtains. Turning back to Em he pulls her close and wraps his arms around her. "Tell me what it is?" Felix looked into her eyes. "What has been making you tense all afternoon long?" He needed to know, he had to protect her as much as he needed to protect his sister. The thought struck him so quickly he nearly staggered. He was in love with this girl. Vice checked out the entire inn before returning to their room shutting and locking the door. "We have an assassin on the way. Not sure who he works for yet." Vice looked carefully at Em. "You are not to leave out sides, stay with one or the other of us at all times." Vice had a feeling that this one was not after the girls. And seeing the love in Felix's eyes, he couldn't allow this girl to be put in danger either. |
Fyre watched her as she tried to explained her situation to him. He could understand why she was running from her family. "So Felix and Vice, they aren't here to take you away?" He asked. He knew what it was like to run from your past. He and Crim have been doing that for so long now. He ran his hands through his long hair. A princess, why did she have to be a princess. Fyre paced the kitchen, pain and old scars coming to the surface. Princess Bella came storming into his thoughts again. She had used him, made him fall for her, made him take her to the Fire Temple so she could take the staff. He looked at Ari, knowing, somehow knowing that she was not going to hurt him as Princess Bella had hurt him. "Tell me why you're running." He said softly.
Crim reached out and took Rai's hand. He was listening quietly to Ari and Fyre. He knew that Fyre wasn't happy that he fell for another princess, but Crim knew that Ari was far from anything like Bella was. He could sense the deep good in Ari, much like the good in Rai. He gave her a soft smile, waiting to hear her part in this tragic story. This was something out of a tragic love story, he thought to himself. All four of them star crossed lovers, the thought made him smile a little. He had hoped to have more time with Rai, more time to learn about her naturally. He wanted to have the fun of getting to know her likes and dislikes, having small fights and then make up later. He wanted a normal life with her. Empusa clung to Felix as soon as they reached the room. Her heart was breaking at the thought of losing him. She was scared to tell him about her past, the past that was stalking up on them at this very moment. "I..I used to belong to a man. Well..he's not a man, he's a monster. I was an assassin, and slave to Aleister Von Stein." She said slowly, hoping he wouldn't walk away from her. "He found me when I was 14, saved me from being sold into prostitution. Then..I found out what he really was." She said, cling on to him for dear life. "He's the head of the Dragon Fang assassin Guild. He trained me in the art of assassinations, then made me his lover." She began to cry, so many horrid memories coming to the surface, she had buried all of them but they came back. Looking at Felix, she could only hope that she saw the love in his eyes. She knew she fell for him the moment she laid eyes on him. She had never trusted a man as she trusted Felix. Aleister didn't like the inn, he turned his nose up at it as he stood outside of the building. "This place simply will not do." He said. He knew that his little chew toy was around here somewhere. She wouldn't dare sleep in an Inn such as this place. He turned and headed down towards the rich end of town. He would find himself a lonely rich man or woman, have his way with them, and then murder them. He grinned as he found the perfect home, a busty housewife all alone inviting him in for the night. |
Ari watched Fyre pace for a minute before she looked down at her hands that she now had clenched in her lap. "I don't know if they will try to take me away or not. If they do it will not be to bring me back to the castle." The fear at the thought of what she had to talk about now was gripping her heart tightly. The fear of losing Fyre was worse and she felt like her heart was breaking. "Why I am running?" She paused as she clenched her hands together and tried to find any way to soften the blow. Not able to think of any Ari sighed. "I am running from my mother. When I was young...I had a spell or curse put on me. I have to listen to my mother if she orders it. Any order, any command...and I have to obey." Desperately trying to fight through her fears she kept going. "My family, most of them, are cruel, and evil. Due to my mother's hatred of me..." Ari fell silent and wrapped her arms around her stomach. "I was tortured, for a very long time. I had no hope of escape, till Rai came." Ari fell quiet again as her heart thudded in her chest waiting for what they would say.
Rai held on to Crim's hand like a life line as Ari finished and Rai knew it was her turn to take up part of the story. "To understand why I came into Ari's life, I need to explain part of my past as well." Rai pulled her wings in as close to her as she could and sighed. "I was born with black wings. As such I was deemed a "risk" in heaven and was locked up. I was locked up since the day I was born, the only contact I had was my sister. A few years ago, my sister was murdered in front of me. I didn't remember much afterwards, but I was banished from heaven for having killed those that murdered my sister." Rai was tense now as she slipped her hand from Crim's and placed them both in her lap clenching them together tightly. "Michael didn't want me running free here so he had me confined in the dungeons of Ari's castle, that is where we first met." Rai couldn't bring herself to tell them that the first time her and Ari had met was while Vera and Melinda had been torturing Ari. "We got to know each other very quickly and for the past two years we have planned out escape. We wanted to leave it all behind us, live a normal life, find normal love, but we knew we might have to run again." Rai smiled sadly as she looked at her hands. "Melinda will never let us go freely." Felix's mind was spinning in a rage. Pulling Em close against him he held her tight and kisses the top of her head. "He will not touch you again." Felix growled slightly and thought about how he was going to be able to protect Em and Ari and Rai. "Vice, have you ever heard of this guild?" Felix held tightly to Em, he wasn't going to let her go. Her tears made him rage all the more. How dare this man touch what was his? It didn't matter that it had happened in the past, it didn't matter that he hadn't known her, She was his now and he would tear anyone to shreds that dare lay a finger on her. Holding her close he could only kiss her head and try to brush away her tears. "It is alright love. He will not touch you again. I will not let anything happen to you. Neither will Vice." Holding her close to him again he nearly growled as he fumed. Vice heard the name and frowned. He had heard rumors of the clan but his own had not run into them yet. He felt for Em and he nodded when Felix said they would protect her. That was who he sensed then. Vice grinned a little bit. He was always up for a challenge and when it came to protecting his family Vice was stronger. He nearly chuckled at himself when he thought that. They had just met Em and she was already family. It was something that the Astelle's would never understand, they did not value family ties in the same way as most did. Vice knew that strength in numbers would be best in this situation, they would need to impose on Ari and Rai and the two fae. If they could all manage to live together for a while, they could all watch each other's backs. Being that close would also allow him to protect Ari and Rai better. "Em, you are not to leave our sides, at all. Even for a bath." Vice was very serious when he said this. "In the morning, first thing we will be returning to Rai and Ari's house, we are going to stay there if we can." Vice checked the room again and after making sure he was satisfied and pointed to the bed. "Sleep, now. We are going to be starting very early." Vice climbed into his own bed and appeared to drift off to sleep. Felix pulled Em down with him into the bed and held her close pulling the blanket over them. "It will be alright love. I will protect you." Knowing Vice was taking the first shift Felix tucked her tightly against him with his body between her and the door and window. "Sleep now love. We will have time to talk in the morning, but we will protect you tonight." Kissing her lightly on the lips he held her close with her head tucked under his chin and drifted off into a light sleep. |
Fury flooded Fyre's veins as soon as Ari finished talking. He slammed a fist against the wall, angry that her own mother would do this to her. "Your OWN mother?!" He yelled. He wanted to raced to the castle of her mother's and rip her heart. He knew that it wouldn't do any good to do that, he wouldn't make it past the front gates. What good would he be to Ari if he was dead? He wouldn't do that to her, he couldn't do that to her. He took a deep breath and put his warm hands on her shoulders. "No matter what, Crim and I will never leave you two. Ever." Fyre said softly, trying to cool his heated blood.
Crim frowned as Rai took her hand from his. He felt colder than he had a moment before. He watched her as she spoke about her past, his heart aching and twisting in pain. He couldn't imagine what that could be like, being judge based on one thing. Crim always thought her wings were striking, he loved the dark feathers. He shook his head, anger flowing into him. He wasn't as hot blooded as Fyre was, but he hated that Rai had to be treated that way just because her wings were different. Crom shook his head. "Fyre's right, we will never leave your side." Crim said. "As crowned princes of the Fire Fae land, we give our word that we will protect you and stay with you. Of course we would do so no matter what." He said, smiling at Rai. Empusa cried while in his arms. She felt the safest there, she nodded against him as he spoke about never letting him touch her again. Empusa believed him when he said that, the tone in his voice told her all she needed to know. "Thank you Felix and Vice." She said weakly, giving them a weak smile. She crawled into bed with Felix, curling up against him. She kissed him lightly back, his lips like honey against hers. She fell asleep, knowing that she was safe within Felix's arms, no harm would ever come to her here. Aleister wiped the blood from his blades, a sick and twisted smile upon his lips. "That's better. Not as good as having my little demon toy..but good enough." He said to the corspe of the lonely housewife who lay in the bed, her body torn and bloody. Aleister was a murderer, no doubt about it, it's why he created the Dragon Fang guild. He could kill anyone without the slightest thought, he neither cared who they are or how old they are. Aleister would reterive his property in the morning and then return home with her. He was tired of her running away from him, after all he gave her. |
Ari watched Fyre and flinched a little at he hit the wall. When he yelled she cringed but managed to nod her head. She struggled against her tears as he struggled against his anger. When he took her shoulders she looked him in the eye and knew he was telling her the truth, but he didn't know the whole story yet. Keeping her face blank and void of emotions Ari sighed a little. "That isn't everything." Ari looked down at her lap again. "There is still more to tell you." She lifted her hands off her lap and let them fall again. She wasn't exactly sure how to tell him, she was engaged, against her will. Or that she most likely has assassins after her. Or that she thought she was falling in love with him.
Rai had looked at Crim as he started talking but she was soon staring at him in shock. "Y-y-you are a Crown Prince?" Rai managed to get out. It seemed that tonight was a night to get everything out in the open. If Rai hadn't been so shocked she might have laughed. The promise that they would always be with them warmed Rai's heart but at the same time her heart sank knowing that they didn't understand everything. "Ari is right, we have more to tell you before you make that promise." Rai knew much like Ari she wasn't sure how to tell Crim that she might love him, but she was sure about one thing. "You need to know that we have assassins after us." Rai gripped her skirt tightly and then continued. "If one of Ari's siblings shows up, Vera or Aaron or even Kyla...and they issue an order from their mother, as long as Melinda has said it, Ari will have to obey it." Rai frowned. "Chances are I will be forced to comply as well, or it will mean her death." Felix didn't really sleep. He drifted in and out of sleep holding tight to Em as she slept against him. He would never let any harm come to her if he could help it. Vice was awake all night, as was his routine when he was watching out. Felix was suddenly very grateful for Vice's background in assassinations. Felix dozed in and out of sleep as he listened for anything that seemed off, his hand slowly and gently stroking through Em's hair as she slept. Vice was on high alert as Em slept and Felix was in and out of sleep. He could sense the man was here in town, but he wasn't close enough yet. Vice intended to keep it that way. If he thought they needed to move sooner they would. Keeping a careful ear out Vice sat quietly in bed planning his next move. |
Fyre gave her a gentle squeeze, kissing the top of her head. "It doesn't matter anymore. Crim and I are here for you both. We will figure out a way to free you." He said. He could tell that whatever else she needed to tell him laid heavy on her shoulders. He smiled softly at her, stroking her cheek softly as he sat next to her. "You can tell me anything. It won't change how I feel about you or how I see you." He said. His words ran heavy with truth. Sure he wasn't happy about a lot of things she had to tell him, but he was head over heels for her and he couldn't see his life without her. "If this is what you have to deal with in your life, then I will do whatever I can to help. I'll always be right here." He said. Looking over her, he smiled softly, they didn't have a chance to get to know each other slowly, like they should have. He felt bonded to her, the moment he laid eyes on her there was no one else.
Crim smiled at Rai's reaction. "Yes, Fyre and I are princes. Sole heirs of the kingdom. There is a lot we need to tell you both about our pasts as well." He said, folding his gentle hands on the table top. "We will help you, no matter the cost. I cannot lose you Rai. I just cannot." He said, shaking his golden red hair. He was going to be honest with her, they both deserved the truth about each other. "I don't care what it takes, I will do whatever it is to save you and Ari." Crim's voice was filled with passion. She was an angel brought into his life to brighten and save him from his past sins, from his own darkness. Only Fyre knew of the deep sad darkness in Crim's heart. He held it from most of the world, but as his twin, Fyre could feel it. Fyre never left Crim alone, always kept him with him so Crim couldn't hurt himself. Without thinking, Crim brushed his fingers lightly across his heart, where a deep scar was. Em didn't sleep very well, she twitched and fliched in her sleep, memories causing horrible nightmares for her. She woke with a start, clinging to Felix. She let out a sigh of relief as she remembered where she was. Her curvy frame was covered in sweat and she needed a bath, but she couldn't go without either Felix or Vice. She didn't think it were be proper to have Vice go with her. She laid close to Felix, her forehead resting against his chest. She stayed awake and listened to his heartbeat in his chest, waiting for him to wake. Aleister could feel Empusa. She was so close to him, but she wasn't alone. She was two others. Two males. It filled Aleister with rage to think that she lay with two men while he was out looking for her. However, once of the men was like him, an assassin. Aleister frowned, knowing that the other man knew he was here. This wasn't going to be easy for him. Aleister grinned at the challenge, it's been a while since he had a decent opponent. He leaned back in the chair, waiting for day break to come. He wanted to wait and see what he could find out about the duo with his plaything, find out what they held dear so he may take it away from them and destroy it in front of them. |
Ari felt warm inside as she listened to Fyre slightly shocked that she would fall so hard and fast for this wonderful man. Taking a deep breath she stood and paced away from the table and back. "You...ugh, you still don't understand." Tears threatening to spill over Ari paced again. "They will not stop at anything, they will torture me for a very long time once they find me. I won't let you feel that." Ari hissed at the thought of her family. "They are ruthless." She needed him to see how bad it was, wanted him to see that he had to leave her. She could not risk his life for hers. Not thinking fully she stripped off her dress and stood there in the kitchen in her bra and underwear. Her torso, sides and back were all covered in scars, from swords, knifes, whips and lashes. Along her side was a brand of an M over a Moon and Star Tattoo. On her back were still healing slashes that crossed from her shoulder to her opposite hip in the large shape of an X. "This is what they are capable of. This is what they will continue to do." Tears were now streaming down her face. Anger, shame, fear all washed through her. "They will stop at nothing to harm me, or sell me off into marriage and if you stand in the way..." Ari placed a hand over her mouth as she sobbed at the thought.
Rai smiled sadly at Crim and her eyes narrowed at his movement with his hand over his heart. She could feel the sadness coming from his heart and her own felt as if it was breaking. "I don't want to lose you either." Taking his hand in hers Rai just wanted to hold tight to him. Looking over at Ari as she stripped in the kitchen Rai's jaw tightened and her back went stiff. She hated seeing Ari's pain and she hated her family for doing this to her. She wanted to go and wrap her arms around Ari to bring her comfort but knew somewhere inside of her that she needed Fyre now so she stayed very still in her seat. "Melinda is a monster." Rai growled out. She couldn't let anything happen to Crim, she couldn't allow it. She wanted to know more about him, wanted to know about why he brushed his finger over his chest. The thought that something might have hurt Crim in that way made her blood run cold and she squeezed his hand tightly. Felix kissed the top of her head as she rested her head against his chest. "I wish you could have gotten some sleep love." Pulling her close and hugging her Felix smiled a little. "It is still early yet, do you want to try to sleep more? Or would you rather get up and get moving?" Felix was petrified for her. He wouldn't let any harm come to her while he still drew breath. Vice had been up all night and was on edge, which worried him all the more. Holding em close he kissed the top of her head. Vice had been listening carefully all night. This assassin was good, very good. But Vice knew that somewhere he would not have the ability to beat him. He hoped. They could sense each other but other than the man's cruelty Vice was unable to figure out what he was planning other than getting Em back. As Felix and Em started to Stir Vice started to pack up. Kisa had been kind enough to send all of Em's clothes to the inn including the rose colored dress, so he wouldn't have to travel there as well as getting to Ari and Rai's house. Once everything was packed away into simple looking bags Vice returned to his bed keeping the shades closed over the window. "If you plan to take a bath or anything you must do so now, and quickly." Vice said after Felix spoke. "Our time is starting to get pressed, we need to leave shortly." Sayo woke with a growl. She could feel the malice and evil thoughts of Aleister and they had plagued her dreams turning them into nightmares. She cursed her sensitivity to others thoughts and tried to banish the image of the blue skinned girl from her mind. Knowing that this man was close Sayo was unable to fall back asleep and got up thinking about whether she would take a bath, hunt down her dear black winged cousin or this evil minded man first. |
Fyre stared at her in shock as she stripped in front of him. Her body was a battle map of scars and painful events in her past. He got up and moved to her, angry tears in his eyes. His fingers brushed her skin lightly, afraid he'd hurt her. "Oh God, Ari..what have they done to you?" His voice all but a hoarse whisper as his throat choked with so many emotions. His anger flared again, he knew that he would have to do something to stop all of this. He just didn't know what he could do.
Fyre made a choking noise, grabbing her and pulling her to his chest. "You are mine now. I will never let anyone touch you. Whether or not you like it, that's how it is." He said, holding his head above hers, staring at the wall as tears spill down his cheeks. His body was hot, as his anger flowed through his veins. She was trying to save him from her, he knew that. He knew that she didn't want to hurt him, didn't want him to deal with her pain. He held her for as long as she allowed him to. Crim growled at the sight of Ari's abused body. He knew what Fyre felt, knew what Fyre wanted to do. He shook his head again. Fyre better not use the forbidden magic of the Fire Faes. Grandfather only told them about it in their lessons, it was never meant to be use by them. He looked back at Rai, saddness and fury storming in his eyes. He squeezed her hand back, giving her a weak smile. "She is a monster, there are many like her out there. She's just a monster with power. She can still be stopped." He said quietly, his voice cold. Crim would do anything to free Rai and Crim from the harsh rule of the monsters in their life. Empusa lifted her face up and kissed him soundly on his lips. "A bath." She said, getting up. Aleister was close, too close. She didn't want to lose a moment with Felix. She took his hand, her face flushed as she pulled him from the bed. "Vice, you can rest. Aleister will not make a move yet. He's waiting, for what, I don't know. He's eager to meet you, you pose a challenge to him." She said, looking at the other man in the eyes. Aleister grinned, his day looking bright as he headed out. There was a certain demon to get back as well as another assassin for him to kill. He strutted down the street, in his normal fashion. Who would suspect him to be a cold blooded killer? He winked at a couple of pretty girls, making them giggle. He kept his eyes out for his little silver haired blue skinng demon play thing as he walked the streets, picking up information as he went. |
Ari fought the tears, fought the relief she felt when he wrapped his arms around her. He wasn't going to let her protect him and she had to. The mere thought of him hurting like she had made her heart go cold. She rested her head against his chest when he pulled her close and sighed mentally and tried to force her heart to be frozen so she could say what she needed to without crying. She hoped that in the end her heart wouldn't shatter. "This is my life. From the time I was roughly 15 years old. I can tell you, down to date and time when each occurred and for what." Ari stayed in his arms and enjoyed his warms as she started to shiver, her voice lifeless and her face blank as she continued. "This is how it has alway been." Ari closed her eyes, the only sign that her emotions were in turmoil. "Fyre." Her voice was still lifeless and so were her eyes when she opened them again. "I am engaged to be married."
Rai nearly flinched at how cold Crim's voice had gotten and hating to see him like that she slipped into his lap and held onto him as if her life depended on it. "I don't know if she can be or not. But you are to do nothing stupid that would put you in danger. Please." Rai all but bagged with her eyes as they searched his. "I don't want to lose you." Burying her face against his neck she let herself cry. Ari was shutting herself down and Rai's tears fell more as she knew it would hurt her heart. She wasn't sure if Fyre would let her shut down or not. She didn't want to lose Crim, she didn't want Ari to lose Fyre. Sometimes fate was cruel, to let them find love, true love, and then to have it all thrown into chaos before they had a chance to even start their lives together. Rai wanted to tell him now, but she couldn't get the words out around her silent sobs. Felix smiled against her kiss and then followed her out of bed. "Vice won't sleep love." Wrapping his arm around her and pulling her close he led her from the room and to the bath. It was still early so it was a mixed bath but Felix stood at the door and checked the area inside. "Take a bath quick love." Kissing her lightly he stood on the inside of the door to watch out for her. "We are moving today, so we don't want to linger here any longer than we have to." He smiled at her and kissed her forehead. He wouldn't lose her to this assassin and he would damn well make sure of it. Vice chuckled as Felix all but dragged Em from the room. He waited a good amount of time and then checked them out of the inn and grabbing their things headed towards the bath area keeping outside and ready so they could leave right away. Vice had a near feral grin on his face as he waited. He hadn't had a real challenge in a while and this man was nothing like the pathetic assassins that Aaron tended to send after Ari. And noticed the angel as she passed and merely tilted his head in acknowledgement as she passed. She wasn't his mark, and she didn't seem to be threatening. Nothing Felix couldn't handle. Sayo had decided on a bath. She would hunt down whomever she needed to after. She had grabbed her things and headed to the bath, passing a black haired elf on her way in and she just breezed past him. She was to tired of dealing with beings in general. She entered into the small changing room and then stood there in shock as she saw another elf and the blue skinned demon that was in her nightmares. "You." Sayo said staring at her in shock. It seemed that fate had chosen her path for her. Now she just had to decide whether to kill the girl or help her. Sayo was so tired of killing needlessly and this girl, she reminded her of someone. She let that thought drift away as she knew it would only cause her pain and sighed a little. "Seems as if you will need some help." |
Fyre wouldn't believe it, not now. "No you're not. It's against you will. You never agreed to it, so therefore you are not." He said,keeping her in his arms. That was his logic and he was going to stick to it. "Besides, I'm here. You can't get married now." He said, smiling softly at her. The thought of her with another man, drove him insane with rage, jealousy and saddness. He couldn't lose her, no matter how much she wanted to run away from him to protect him.
Crim held onto Rai as she climbed into his lap. He wanted to keep her there, always. He wrapped his arms around her tightly, holding her close to him. His heart ached when she wept into him. He hated that she was crying. This should be a happy time for all of them. "I didn't mean to make you cry. This should be a happy time for all of us." He said sadly. Em wanted to bath with him, to love him while they were alone. However her plans went out the window, when a woman spoke to them. She turned, looking at an angel. Her scent was so familiar, she was the angel she smelled when they returned from Ari's. She frowned at the woman, what did she know about them. "Excuse me?" Em asked, holding onto Felix's hand still. She was nervous and scared and all she wanted was to be in the hot bath with Felix in her arms. |
Ari looked at him and the tears started to fall and half heartedly hit his chests with her fist. "Why can you see through me?" She cried in earnest now and the tears streamed down her face. "Why won't you let me protect you?" She had buried her head against his chest and then looked up a him a little shocked and confused. "Why does you being here mean that I can't marry?"
Rai clung to him and tried to wipe away her tears. "You didn't make me cry, fate did." Resting her head against his shoulder she sighed a little. "Even if things are a little crazy right now. This is still the happiest I have been in a long time." Rai couldn't remember a happier time than right here in Crim's arms. She turned her head slightly and warm rays of sun fell on her face from the window. "It seems we have been up all night." Rai yawned a little and stayed curled up in Crim's arms. "We still have a lot to talk about, but I am wondering if we all shouldn't get some sleep." Rai didn't want to leave his arms and she kept hers wrapped around him even as she said this. She smiled a little at the thought of sleeping next to him. Felix was slightly shocked when the angel walked in and immediately went on guard placing himself in front of Em. "I am sorry, how would you know if we need help or not?" Felix didn't sense any danger from her and he knew Vice wouldn't have let her through if she was an assassin. Sayo sighed a little and looked the girl over just to be sure. "There is someone out there thinking about you Empusa. You are his "Play Thing." Sayo sat on one of the benches and crossed her legs looking at the pair. "Firstly, I didn't mean to interrupt you." Sayo smiled slightly, cause she had to admit it was amusing to walk in on lovers sometimes. "Secondly, my name is Sayo. I have been in town since yesterday, and when I was asleep last night the thoughts of one Aleister came into my head. I am very...attuned to peoples minds when I am sleeping. And this man...gave me nightmares, ones I never wish to have again. You are the girl that continued to pop up in them. I won't repeat what he planed to do other than that he is extremely pissed that you are with two other males." Sayo stood and paced back and forth a little. She wasn't one to normally offer her help but her hand seemed forced this time. Well they always say God does things for a reason. Turning back to The boy and Em Sayo looked them straight in the eye. "I will help. This man must be stopped, so if you are willing and accepting, I will offer you my services." |
Fyre held her tight as she cried, suppressing a growl that rumbled in his chest. He hated when girls cried, especially ones he cared for. "Because, I am claiming you as mine. No one else may have you." He said as he kissed the top of her head. "I don't care what your crazy mother thinks she can do. I won't let anyone else have you." He smiled at her. "Come on, let's get some clothes on you and go rest for a little while. This was a very emotional night." Fyre started to lead her towards their wing of the house.
Crim smiled at her. "Fate can be cruel sometimes." He said, sadness twinging his voice. "I agree. It's been a very emotional night and we still have so much to talk about. Resting for a while will be good." He said, shifting his arms beneath her. He lifted her up as he stood from the chair. As Fyre lead Ari away, Crim took Rai away to their wing of the house. He didn't want to leave her alone, but unless she asks him to or hinted at it, he would put her in her own bed and return to his. Empusa clung to Felix. Sayo ruined Em's plans for spending some alone time with Felix. "I know he's here. I know he's angry. I can feel it as well." She said, looking away. "Aleister can give anyone nightmares. I am sorry you had to be one of those unlucky few. It's something I wouldn't want anyone else to endure." She said, looking back at Sayo, her duo colored eyes filled with remorse and fear. "I don't want to involve anyone else. Aleister is a very dangerous man. I don't even want Felix or Vice to get involved. He will find all that you hold dear and slowly destroy it while you watch." Em said, her voice losing all emotion, her eyes going blank. She was shutting down, it was the only way she could deal with the pain and suffering that Aleister brought to her. Aleister snarled under his breath as he watched the inn's bath. There was his play thing, sitting with another man, an ELF! As well as another woman. And angel for that matter. What a poor choice of people for little Em to choose to surround herself with. They were nearly as bad as that no good Bandit Alexander Wolfstein, that smelly half demon that always got in his way around Em. Aleister waited more, now wasn't the time to act. He would get Empusa back soon, but not now. Ban had found the town that Aleister had run off to. He knew that Aleister was after Em. She was to be the next one to be sent after him to kill him for leaving the guild. He felt the worse for leaving her there, but she wouldn't leave with him. She told him it was too dangerous for him if she went with him. Ban loved that demon woman so damned much, he couldn't stand to see her with Aleister. He had fought him, earning the large scar across his back and the X shaped scar on his chest. Ban would have died if Em didn't step in to save him from Aleister. Ban owed her the freedom from him. Even if it meant his life. Ban lifted a hand to his eyepatch, knowing what he had to do. |
Ari followed Fyre almost blindly as she stared at him in shock as her heart felt so very warm. Him saying these things gave her a small amount of hope that maybe, just maybe he had feelings for her too. She followed him leaving her dress forgotten in the kitchen and she clung tightly to his hand. She didn't want to leave his side, she didn't want to sleep alone. "Fyre." She tried to get him to stop a little when they reached their wing. Taking a deep breath and holding his hand tightly Ari forced herself to stop. "Don't leave me tonight?" Ari looked down at their hands and waited for his answer.
Rai clung tightly to Crim as he lifted her up and buried her face against his neck. She knew that sleep would do them all a world of good, but she didn't want to leave his side. Holding tight to him as he carried her to their wing she frowned. "I don't want to sleep." Rai thought that maybe if she could stall him long enough to get him to not leave her side tonight. Felix started to worry as Em shut down and holding her close to his side he kissed her temple. "I told you, I won't let him touch you. You are mine." *holding her close he looked at Sayo. "We would welcome the help, but Em is right, we don't need to involve any more people." Felix could almost feel the eyes on him and he held Em closer. "If this damn guy, whatever or whoever he is get's near Em I will protect her. Thank you for the offer." Sayo smiled at them and nodded her head in understanding. "I have nothing I hold dear, so there is no problem with that. And whether you accepted my offer or not I was still planning on hunting him down. I do not have the ability to ignore his type of evil. I simply thought it might benefit us all if we were working on the same team." Sayo gathered her things and headed out of the bath, annoyed that she could feel him watching. "I will meet you back here in a few minutes and I will wait outside with the other boy. I wouldn't waste time if I were you." Sayo tapped Em's cheek before she left. "Snap out of it. It will not do you any good to close down." Leaving and returning to her room Sayo got dressed and ready to leave, packing what little she had before heading back to the baths. |
