Caiti walked through the forest as quietly as she could... She was deep in thought though and for some reason she felt like she was nearing other people. Just as the thought crossed her mind she heard the lous CRACk of a dry branch breaking.

She looked around quickly, noone was there. Then she looked down. Of course, there her foot lay in the middle of two pieces of branch that she had broken. She sighed and quickly turned to climb the tree behind her.

She liked people but she did not trust them. A girl in the forest alone was not a good idea. She couldn't just catch every asshole on fire, she was basically good. Maybe a bit of a rebel but that was her nature as a fire manipulator.

((All I can think of for now, I don't know what kind of RP-ers you wonderful people are.))

Eve wanderd smoothly through the forest, through the shadows, and slickly under the branches, Almost like she knew every branch, and every twig was. She leaned slightly on a tree as she stepped over a large branch, and continued. She didn't know this forest well, and every move she made was planned to make sure she didn't falter. there was a gap in the trees above and it let some of the sunshine through, Leaving the light dappled on the floor, and shining part of the tree, Eve first stopped infront of the beams then stepped around them to avoid them, Looking up around the treetops, feeling a presence.

Caitilynn cocked her head to the side. Whoever this girl was she knew of Caiti's existence. This was strange. Regular people usually never noticed she was there. Maybe the occasional hunter. Caiti jumped quickly to a place where she was hidden from the newcomer to her forest. She may have made a slight noise but it was ok.

"Hello there. Are you evil or basically a good person?"

Sounded like a silly question but it was needed information. She needed to know wether to prepare for battle. There were hunters of her kind all over the place, and if she gets the drop on them it's way easier. This was a girl though, which was an unusual hunter but Caiti would never underestimate someone for being female. It's the mistake most hunters make.

((Sorry I put hunters in there but I wanted a reason to be weary.))

Eve turned her torso around halfway and looked behind her, flicking her hand up slowly, Her shadow swirled slightly on the floor, and rising, Swirling and rippling to reach a few inches from her hand, she looked around, Firt not seeing this girl, She ignored her question and stayed weiry, She watched her for a moment and relaxed slightly, her shadown fell back and rippled slightly, before swirling back ack into its form, She turned slightly more towards her 'I dont understand your question' she stated simply, with a cold tone to her voice.

Caiti watched the shadow rise and fall again. This girl seemed untrustworthy too. Caiti jumped to a lower branch and sat easily leaning against the massive trunk.

"Well, there are many hunters hunting those of us who are... special?"

She didn't know what to call herself, special was such an odd term. It had been so long since she talked to anyone. She had been in hiding since her close call two years ago, when she unknowingly showed her power to the wrong people. Her dress was gracfully hanging off the branch and she held her staff across her lap in an unthreatening way.

"You can never be too careful in a place like this. Your untrusting tone shows me that you are smart at least. My name is Caiti. It's fine if you don't tell me your name yet. I want to ask if it's ok for me to come down and stand before you. I know I would be defensive."

All of a sudden she heard the crackling off in the distance of uncoordinated people roaming the forest.

"I heard a noise over here. Let's check it out"

She heard the gruff voice of a hunter. She stood instantly.

"This spot is no longer safe, if I were you I would prepare for battle or hide here in the tree's. The hunters are not that smart but they know how to find people hidden among the tree's."

At that she gestured up into a spot she had put together that blocked her from vision high in the tree's. She may not know this girl, but she knew what would happen if she was found. She wouldn't sit back and watch it happen.

Eve turned slowly and crouched down, weary of the hunters, They stumbled through the forest, Clumsely, She stayed low and held her hand out raising her shadow higher afrom the floor, Suddenly she dashed forward, slashing out her hand and jumping up to a branch and crouching low again, All she had done was send a wave of her shadow across to spook them, Maybe they where stupid enough to continue.... She staed silent and breathed lightly, Her breath wavering slightly, in slight fear, But she shook it off quickly.

Caiti gasped. This girl was making her presence known to the hunters. Bad idea. They had weapons and ways to catch even the most powerful of beings. She hoped that these were just some scouts and she could disappear before the big wigs came to get them. She jumped down from her hidaway spot as she her the footsteps form far off quicken and shouting about 'this way' 'over here'. She took a deep breath and closed her eyes. She shot her hands out in front of her. With that a large line of fire made a half circle around the girls, burning brightly. She heard the angry shouts form the other side of the wall as they tried to make it around. She pushed the fire closer and closer to them trying to make them back off. She was just glad she figured out how to make the fire harmless to the forest. This would have definately caused some damage. It was strange to watch something on fire not burn. She looked to the girl to see what she would do next

Eve stayed on the branch, She flicked out her armmand held it there, Her shadow slowly reached out, and she had to strech more to reach the men with her shadown, Her shadow coverd all of the men now, and she lifted her hand slowly and slammed it back down onto thin air, But her shadow hit the ground hard. when she moved her hand away, The men where no longer there. Nothing was there, even some of the grass was missing.
eve jumped down smoothly from the tree and landed both feet flat, crouching, she stood up and wanderd over to where the girl was, looking at where the men WHERE and where no longer. eve put one hand in her trouser pocket andspun on her heal, walking away.

Caiti looked confused for a moment while she took in the situation. Yeah those were definately scouts, for if they had been hunters the shadow wouldn't have affected them as much. They had charms and such to weaken the affect of magic.

"Hey wait!"

Caiti called out to the girl,

"Those weren't even close to the trouble you could be facing go out alone. There are hunters that won't perish at the might of your shadow. At least not that quickly or quietly. Don't be so quick to run off. I am not an enemy."

Caiti didn't want to say she could help because it was obvious the girl felt as if she didn't NEED help. She also couldn't say she was a friend because you can't just claim yourself as a friend and have it be so. She looked back at the girl and awaited her response.

Eve continued walking for a moment, then turned facing the girl 'I dident kill them.' she mutterd 'I just transported them' she turned half around 'and i dident use my full power...' To be honest she dident dare... The last time she did, She dident know... she closed her eyes for a moment then sighed slightly 'you cant trust anyone these days' she mumbled to herself and waited for a moment, Wondering what she could do now, She looked around the forest and turned back 'Do you happen to know a way out of here?' she asked, She dident actualy know how to get back out, After entering.

Caiti shook her head at the girl.

"If you didn't kill those men they will be looking for us now. They will send a hunter who knows what he's doing. I know it sounds silly, but if you leave the shelter of the forest you won't survive. These woods are the only place they don't have things set up to kill us everywhere we turn because I have spent the past couple of years unsetting their traps. I know, you don't trust me and well, I don't trust you either. But so far you haven't tried to kill me and I haven't tried to kill you so, I trust you a helluva lot more than I trust any of them. Our best bet is to stay together."

Caiti sighed as she waited for the girls response. She could almost bet this girl would refuse and end up dead.

Eve waited for a moment and suddenly dropped down, sitting neatly on the floor, messing with some leaves
'I guess your stuck with me then' she said, a lighter tone in her voice, She looked up, and around the Forest
'So i guess you know this forest well, by now huh?' she said, Trying to remember this place, where the trees were, Where the branches were and which ones looked stable enough to climb on... She sat and watched the forest, Waiting for something... Anything, real.

(I'm gonna use your idea and colour the speech, It makes it a hella'lot easyer right?)
