Jake pulled off one of his scales which revealed a patch of squishy skin "ouch" he mumbled, he the polised it a bit so you could see a reflection on it and held it up so she could see her face "now look"

'ooh, pretty' he said and stuck her tongue out 'urk' she said and looked at it closer 'whr mwhrm wmrgwm' she said and stuck her tongue back in 'Thats quite a bit!' she said shocked 'She turned around and put her hands on her head 'IM A MUTANT!' then she turned her head 'well... Kinda...' then turned back 'ARGHHH' she shouted to the sky then laughed. 'Its not a big deal' she turned 'I think ill live with a weird tonue, she stuck it out again and spun round in circles

Jake just stood there listening, when she said she was a mutant he chuckled "well we both know who is the real mutant"

'dont you go putting yourself down again' she said. '... ahh, but you are arnt you... Why are you like that? where you just born like it??'

Jake looked down and sighed "i have no clue... everytime i try to find the answers i just get blank images" he looked at her and then a tear ran down his face "ive had it" he growled as he started to pull his scales off one by one which reveal squishy flesh which was painful if touched, and he even drew some blood when he yanked up certain scales

'stop it' she said and grabbed his hands 'Look if im being annoying just tell me and ill shut up' this time her tone was flat and not very emotional
'It doesent matter what you are, It was just a question...'

Jake wa now full on crying "im tierd of being called freak by all of the people from citys" he said as he looked at atleast 20 scales on the floor "your the only person to not freak out and run or call me names"

'well yeah thats got to be a good thing right? at leat you have somebody? I mean even if it a bit too late... at least you have me...' she said almost crying herself

jumps down by them and looks at them curiously "Is Somthing the matter?.....is somthing wrong?"
