She took his hand slowly. She felt a little hot for some odd reason and could feel her face flushing. She grinned up at him.
"I do not eat human or raw meat or blood." |
When she took his hand slowly Crono wondered if he had done something wrong. As she grinned up at him he caught a glimpse of the blush and he smiled. "No trouble at all. I prefer to refrain from those sorts of things as well. I'm a demon not an animal," he said with a laugh. Softly he ran a hand threw his red hair then led her downstairs. Opening the door he gestured for her to go first out into his crazy world.

She chuckled a little.
"Sorry I assumed all demons ate such things. It must be a steriotype. I apologize Crono. I did not mean anything by it." She stepped out of his house and looked around curiously. |
At her chuckle he couldn't help but smile. "No problem at all, just letting you know. And some things might be scary, so if you wanna head home just let know,"Crono said softly. He started walking towards the market and restaurants to find somewhere to get something to eat.

She grinned holding onto his hand without relnt. She just wanted to keep tight hold on him. She was a little worried about what mgiht be around and out to get her but he made her feel so safe. It was quite interesting how safe she felt with him.

The red head grinned as he made his way threw the area. No one was causing them problems, which he was entirely thankful for. Grinning he entered his favorite place and got them a seat. It was just like a pub in the human world. Only waitresses were succbi and demons were the cooks. Crono looked up at her as they sat down. "I hope you don't mind this place. It's one of my favorites," he said to her with a smile.

She chuckled a moment.
"It looks great. I am sure the food is fabulous. How about you just choose for me. I am sure you can pick something I can eat." She preoccupied herself with gazing around at the strange beings before her. She was not quite sure what to think of them. They were so strange to her. She knew that she probably looked strange to them to. |
The red head nodded and snapped for the waiter to come over. When the demon came over he smiled and ordered them both glasses of water, salads, and soup. His golden eyes watched her s she looked around at all the other demons. There were a few other humans there, though it was normal for there to be very few. "So what do you think?" he asked quietly with a small smile. Crono reached over and lightly patted her hand.

She smiled at him.
"Well it is different. Not quite what I expected. Being on earth we hear a lot about how hell is supposed to be and so far I like this much better than the hell they tell us about." She put her other hand on top of his hand patting her hand. She gazed into his eyes for a moment and then looked down blushing a little bit. |
Crono smiled and shrugged at her. "It can be bad, don't get me wrong. It just depends on what kind of demon you end up with. Usually humans are sold in a sort of auction style, but generally those are the really bad sinners. Prostitutes, murders, thieves, et cetera, but generally we won't treat them too poorly. They usually serve for a few years as punishment then they are free to be as they wish," he answered softly with a smile. He looked up at the waitress and nodded when she set down the glasses of water. "I was worried you'd be terrified. That's the usual reaction when humans come out," he said with a small laugh.

She giggled.
"I do not get scared much at all. I am a magician. I can summon all sorts of things. Usually its small things. But if I was scared I wouldn't do it." She smiled at the waitress. |
The red head tapped his chin then nodded. "I guess you're right. Most humans who come here aren't magicians," he answered with a small laugh. The waitress left after setting down the glasses of water. Crono brushed a few stray red hairs from his face then took a sip of his water. "So what else do you like to do besides magic?" he asked gently.

"I read a lot. I love stuff about mystical things. Stuff you would not find very often. I like to travel and go on adventures. These are all my hobbies really. I do not have much but I have enough."
She smiled at him. |
The golden eyed man listened as she talked nodding softly. He smiled at her gently. "I do read quite often. Perhaps we will need to examine my library when I get home. I should have something interesting back there," he answered with a small grin. Crono looked towards the waitress as she set their plates of salad down. Then he smiled as she walked away. "As for travel. It's one of my favorite thing to do. I often go into the human world and wander around there. I seriously loved it," he answered lightly. The red head picked up his fork and began eating his salad.

She picked through the salad at first not sure what it consisted of and then she took a quick taste to see what it tasted like. She grinned and happily began to munch on it hungrily. She had never tasted anything so wonderful.

Crono's golden eyes watched as she ate her food. She seemed to be enjoying which made him happy. He took another forkful of greens. "What do you think of underworld food?" he asked with a chuckle. Lightly he ran a hand threw his red hair.

"It is great. I have never tried this kind of food yet. I never knew food from down here would taste so well."
She smiled as she finished her salad. "You probably think I am a pig but it tastes so good." |
The red head chuckled at her statements and shook his head. "No, really I don't think that you are a pig. It is rather good, and it usually does surprise people. I am really glad that you are enjoying yourself," he answered softly. Crono grinned and finished off his salad. He lightly tapped her hand with his fingers and smiled. It was strange to think that this morning or earlier they were at each other's throats.

She smiled at him and finishing her salad sat back.
"What do you do for fun in this place?" |
The waitress came over and set the bowls of soup on the table and took away the salad. At her question Crono tilted his head. "We read, paint draw, swim... uhm fornicate... hmm really it's the same as the human world. Minus the blue skies and sunshine," he said with a laugh. He ran a head threw his red hair and picked up his spoon to eat the soup.

She stared at him a moment. Then she looked down at the food.
"How long do humans usually stay here? Are they all from the surface or are they actually dead?" |
Crono looked back at her with a shrug as he took a bite of his soup. "Most of them are dead. Some are from the surface, but yes most of them are dead. And if a demon kills you in hell you get sent to purgatory... there's no demons there, just humans. Sometimes they make it to the heavens, but that's rare," he answered gently. It was a strange situation the way death worked. If you were terrible you went to hell, not so bad purgatory, and good went to heaven. But if you died in hell you could go to purgatory, but if it was bad enough you could go to heaven. Whoever thought of it was a joke.

She nodded staring at her food.
"I guess that makes sence." She took another bite and then looked up at him a moment. |
The red head smiled at her as she ate. He wondered if he knew how simply beautiful she was. One of the prettiest women he had ever seen in his life time. Grinning he took another spoonful of soup and looked up at her. "So what would you like to do after this? I can try and get you home if you like, though I may have to come with you since I can't seem to find a way with out both of us going back. Or we could walk around? Anything really," he stated with a small laugh. Looking out of the corner of his eye he saw a demoness with pale pink hair and small ram horns sticking out of her head watching them. Crono knew he had seen her before, but could not exactly place where.

She smiled at him.
"Well I guess I can go home. I was having fun here though. Can I stay a few days? I promise I will not be a bother. I am just tired of being home and want a break." She gave him a slight smile. As he watched her she turned a slight pink. "What are you looking at?" |
