Not liking the distracted sound in that voice, Adalberto held the boy closer and looked to him. "Morty...?"

"I...I'm Lulu." He nodded, "And...yeah. That and those guys." He gestured around him. "The hooded one got my sword." Because he'd been the nut for weapons before this had all happened, buying swords and things from the medieval fairs and gun shows and even anime conventions that came to town. That had been the last thing he had on him to protect himself. If there was one thing, though, that he wouldn't tell these guys, yet, it was about what had just gone down, past the hooded one being around.

"Hey, he ain't lyin'. There's one up there." Of course, it would be Rowan to see him. He pointed to a building up fairly high. "Should we call for your buddy, Morty?" Because usually Rowan avoided other zombies, so he didn't know how to handle them.

Shayne nodded a little, then went to work on that jaw. "This is gonna hurt a little bit. You won't get mad about it, right?" He smiled a little bit, setting the needle in place to begin his work.

Mira-Charma13 11-28-2010 08:56 AM

Morty squinted up at the taller building, frowning slightly. "...That's a Hunter, all right...do you hear him?"

Low, territorial, guttural growls were coming from the top of the building, on the fire escape leading up to the roof. There was a dark figure crouched on all fours on the fire escape, snarling at them. He was wearing a long black coat with the hood pulled up over his face, just barely covering it. He was baring wolf-like teeth at them.

He seemed to be ultra-pissed about something.

Curry shrugged slightly. "I don't mind pain. Not at all...I've had quite a few violent lovers in the past..."

Charmase seemed really nervous and paranoid...perhaps he heard the Hunter nearby?

Dissociative_Dreamer 11-28-2010 09:04 AM

Adalberto shook his head, but held the other human boy close. "Should we call for Curry? That...doesn't look promising on us escaping." And he didn't want to just leave another survivor to be killed by something like that. He tugged Morty closer, "We can't just leave him to fend for himself with that...those things aren't good at all."

Lulu glared up at the creature, still seeming to invite him to find out what pain was, even if he couldn't do much to hurt him. There was a reason why, in survival horror games, you were given weapons. Even a rusty, broken pipe was better than your bare hands in situations like this. And, what did he have? Nothing. Even the Spaniard holding him didn't seem to have a weapon. Whatever a 'Curry' was, though, sounded like a good idea to have around, if they were both asking for him.

The only one who didn't seem to be on edge was Rowan, who could even hear him. "Ah, he's just a little grumpy over something connected to our new friend, I think." While he was kind of stupid, not very perceptive and never, ever good enough with people to make friends with people who weren't high or drunk, that didn't mean that he couldn't put two and two together. "What happened before we showed up?"

Shayne nodded a little, "Just making sure. I don't wanna hurt you too bad. Now, it's gonna sting some, and then I gotta reset your jaw. Ready?"

Mira-Charma13 11-28-2010 09:07 AM

"...Maybe we should try to find out what happened, first..." Morty fixed his intimidating crimson gaze on the smaller human before him. "Did you maybe do something to piss this Hunter off?"

The Hunter's growling was constant, bitter. He was baring his teeth, and his semi-cloudy dark emerald eyes were fixed on the smaller human. He was really ticked off...really ticked off. Something awful must have happened for the human to earn this much anger from the normally animalistic and instinct-driven zombie.

Curry shifted a bit and then nodded. "Go on ahead. If you haven't noticed already, it's real difficult for me to feel any kind of pain. I'm a bit of a beast..."

Dissociative_Dreamer 11-28-2010 09:19 AM

Under that gaze, Lulu simply looked back at Morty. "He showed up with the Spitter over there... I guess they could have been friends?" He offered, pointing to a decapitated and bleeding spitter not far from them. "Then he jumped away...and I guess it really pissed him off."

Rowan rose a brow. "Dude, you don't kill someone's friend! That's like, not awesome. How would you feel if someone killed your friend?"

"Don't you even start that with me. I lost eight kids in three days, all of them mine. So don't you even try to tell me about loss. Besides, I've seen him before. They may not be horribly easy to recognize, but I know him. He's the one who got my kids." So, not only did the Hunter have a grudge, but the human did, as well.

"I know, but even you can probably feel your jaw being shifted back into the right place. Right now, it looks like the bone's sitting on your zygomatic. That's your cheek bone..." Shayne informed, taking the zombie's lower face in hand and shifting it down to get it into the right spot. Putting the bone in the correct place, he began to stitch a few threads in before popping it into place. "There...should be easy to finish, now."

Mira-Charma13 11-28-2010 09:29 AM

As if matching his ferocity, the Hunter above them let out a loud, nasty-sounding screech and smacked his fists violently against the metal of the fire escape. His hands were shaking with barely contained fury. If it weren't for the Screamer and Smoker down there, he would pounce the smaller human.

Morty flinched--he couldn't help it. Hunters were nasty creatures. The three of them would not be able to prevent an attack if he decided to pounce...

"Maybe we should try to make peace, here? He took something of yours. You took something of his...aren't you even...?" Morty was afraid of Hunters, just slightly.

The sound of the Hunter's screech made Charmase's blood run cold, and he turned around, quickly, and scampered to hide behind Curry. He was shaking. "...Scary...scary noise..." he whispered, softly.

"That sounds like a Hunter. And he's pissed..." Curry didn't like having his jaw pushed back into place, but it wasn't too too bad for him...

Dissociative_Dreamer 11-28-2010 09:40 AM

"He doesn't seem very keen on making peace." Lulu mumbled, sighing a little bit. He ran a hand through his hair and looked up at the Hunter again. He pushed some out of the Spanish man's arms and moved himself into plain sight before calling up to the angry zombie. "I'm sorry I killed your friend! You killed my family, though, so we're even!" May not have been smart, but he was on his last leg, now, he could feel something boiling within him, something that he didn't want around people. He would have much rather be pounced and killed than live his life as a zombie. Or, at least, that was what he thought. Perhaps if he was like these ones, he'd be fine.

Shayne only did it because he had to do it, continuing to stitch, now. "Do you think we should go check it out, or is it not for us to worry about?" He kind of needed to finish this, though.

Mira-Charma13 11-28-2010 09:46 AM

Viktor snarled rather lowly before turning his head away, bitterly. Friend...yeah, right. That Spitter had been his current lover, and now he was dead. He'd found the poor thing half-turned in a subway and had taken him in under his wing.

He bristled slightly, back arching up. Then, he leapt into the air and rapidly came to the ground, landing heavily on all fours directly in front of the human. He shot up to his full height on his legs--he was six feet, four inches tall--and stared down at the small human, teeth bared. He didn't attack him. It seemed he was just making his presence known.

Morty almost pissed himself when the big Hunter leaped down from the fire escape. He looked frightened, for some reason...perhaps a Hunter had been the one to change him? Screamers were incredibly rare to start with...

Curry used one of his arms to shelter Charmase, who was scared. "Finish up...then we can go check it out."

Dissociative_Dreamer 11-28-2010 09:56 AM

It honestly seemed like the only one not afraid of Viktor was Lulu, who simply looked up at him from his meager height and made a face.

"I get it, you're tall, you're threatening. But, honestly? I have little time left, so I figure why not make it shorter, anyway?" He snorted out his nose and simply shook his head and looked away. He seemed almost sheepish, before turning to look at the other three in the area. "Don't think of me any differently?" Not that they really had had enough of a chance to think much of him in the first place.

Lifting up his jacket sleeve, he showed off a rather horrid looking bite, festering and sending the virus through him. "If nothing else, I can always replace him." However, his eyes looked rather dead when he directed this back at the Hunter before him. "I've seen people be turned before." It looked painful, but he knew it would happen if the Hunter wanted it to.

Rowan had simply stepped behind Morty and Adalberto, hiding behind them despite not being human at all. Sometimes, he almost felt like he was. Really, the only thing that changed was his love for meat. He had used to be a vegetarian.

Even Adalberto was scared, but had tugged Morty close and even behind him. He didn't want his love interest to be too scared, so he'd put himself between them like the romantic idiot he was.

"Alright...I'm just about done, it'll be another few seconds." He nodded, making the stitches quickly but very well. He had steady hands, that was good.

Mira-Charma13 11-28-2010 10:05 AM

Viktor paused where he was, his arms limp by his sides. He stayed like this for quite a few seconds while he pondered the offer. Then, he reached up and idly pulled the hood off of his head, revealing that...

He was gorgeous. Drop-dead gorgeous. At least, that's how he'd heard himself described in the past. He had chiseled features, a masculine face, and pretty dark emerald eyes. He was quite toned--the coat was slightly open and had a v-neck, flashing a muscled chest and showing off his arms.

He didn't seem used to speaking, for he had to lick his lips a few times before he could even think about talking. "...If you want to replace him that badly...then let's go for it..." He had a deep, sultry sort of voice.

Morty's fear suddenly faded, and it was replaced with a big grin as he studied the Hunter in his revealed sort of form. He had a thing for men bigger than him, and Viktor was...kind of hard not to look at.

Curry budged up, and then glanced at the shivering Witch on the ground. "Mind if carry him?" he asked, hoping Shayne wouldn't take offense to that. "He's terrified..."

Dissociative_Dreamer 11-28-2010 10:25 AM

Perhaps it was just him, but good looks didn't woo him anymore. He'd learned a while back that a guy with a pretty face was just as harmful as any other man on the planet. He didn't look all that willing, but at the same time he wasn't pushing Viktor away. He looked down, unsure of what to do next.

"Um...what do you want me to do, then? How am I supposed to 'go for it'?" He still seemed oddly wary, and yet he had this air of 'I don't care' about him. His eyelids fluttered; he felt quite pained, particularly in that arm, and he shifted some. "Does it hurt?"

Adalberto managed to catch this, and while he didn't physically deflate, his stomach dropped into his feet, splitting in half to do so. The thoughts flooded his brain, and he was tempted to go do something stupid. Licking his lips, he closed his eyes and gulped, then remained standing there and watching, his eyes seeming much less... Alive.

Rowan didn't seem to notice anything past this new guy being hot, as well, and sauntered up. "Heyyyy, I'm not against a threesome..." He offered, slipping up between Lu and Viktor. He grinned that cute grin of his between them, hoping one agreed, at least. He was horny and not getting any.

"Why not?" Shayne shrugged some. "Just gonna carry him, though? I may have to lag some..." And while that made him nervous, he figured he wouldn't be a true survivor if he didn't survive, right? Maybe that would make him feel better. Except he didn't feel better, and kind of wanted to be carried even if he had to share with Charmase.

Mira-Charma13 11-28-2010 10:31 AM

Viktor suddenly grinned, flashing a white smile at his new 'companion.' "Pff...of course it hurts. It's better if you're in cool water. Nasty fever..." He shifted a bit where he stood. "If you want to replace him so damn badly, you can. I don't mind." His upper lip lifted over his teeth. "But don't cross me."

Morty noticed the odd look to Adalberto's eyes, and he immediately tore his red eyes away from Viktor to his current interest. "...? What's wrong?" he asked, concerned. "You look like you're upset...you're not hurt, are you? Did I do something...?"

Charmase seemed to feel just a tiny bit safer being carried. He was in one big arm of Curry's.

Curry hated to walk without his arms to support him, but he scowled and lifted Shayne up in the other arm, keeping them kind of separate. It took him much longer to reach the area where the others were.

Dissociative_Dreamer 11-28-2010 10:38 AM

"Pfft, I don't really care. Not like there's a place for me to go, anyway." Lulu rolled his eyes, just shrugging. "Don't cross you, eh? Well, looks like we both have a similar rule." His voice was rather flat as he spoke; he honestly didn't seem worried at all. "And don't think I'm fawning over your looks, either. Even a man who looks as good as you do could easily be a chauvinistic pig." He crossed his arms, one eye twitching some from the pain in his arm. It was quite obvious that he held distaste for men, but at the same time he still wanted one.

"No, nothing's wrong, don't worry about it." Adalberto replied, but he could feel his heart clench a little. His chest felt tight and uncomfortable, his stomach felt sick and his eyes felt the need to leak. "You didn't hurt me, I'm all in one piece." For now.

"Berto, somethin's wrong." Being ignored upset him some, but Rowan slunk back to his friend. "You don't get all weird like this if something isn't." And he knew Adalberto as much as he did Shayne.

Shayne felt bad, to say the least, and ended up using his climbing abilities to get back to his previous position on Curry's neck, giving him back one arm to walk on. That way he was at least a little more comfortable and less grumpy.

Mira-Charma13 11-28-2010 10:42 AM

Viktor sneered at him. "I don't do labels, you little punk. I'm just me. I'm not a pig, I'm not nothin'. I'm Viktor, and that's that. If you don't give a fuck about my feelings, I don't give two shits about yours. Got it?"

He turned away and shrugged, staring off into space absently.

Morty whined, slipping out from behind him to give him a big, warm hug from the front. "What's wrong? You're sad...you seem really upset. I don't like that." He was not paying Viktor any more attention, now that he saw something was wrong with his current interest.

Curry grunted, thankfully, and then turned the corner to see what was going on. "What did I miss?"

Tanks...Tanks were the worst possible zombie a Survivor could meet, especially while alone. He didn't mean to frighten anybody, so he was hoping he didn't frighten the survivor they found.

Charmase, wary of Viktor still standing over by Lulu, slowly slid out of Curry's grip.

Dissociative_Dreamer 11-28-2010 10:54 AM

"Don't do labels, and then you call me a little punk? God, you're a genius, aren't you, Viktor?" Lulu replied snarkily. Once more, those pretty blues rolled and he just sighed. "Fine, and what if I do give a fuck about your feelings? Are you really telling me you'll actually consider mine?" He made a face as if that would be the most amazing thing ever. He managed to look over at the new voice and-- Nothing. He figured either the new zombie would be able to tell that he was going to be one of them, already seemed to belong to someone, or was willing enough to die that he didn't really care. His apathy for life at the moment stemmed from his need to take care of something, and having suffered the loss of all of it in one day. He wasn't always like this.

Closing his eyes, he shook his head and forced a smile. Thankfully, it looked more like his normal one than most people could put up. "Really, it's nothing...No se preocupe por mí, no hay nada malo. Yo sólo no han comido en unos tres días, eso es todo." He didn't realize he'd slipped into Spanish, simply doing his best to come up with an excuse.

Shayne smiled a little, nuzzling against Curry's head a little and hanging on him like a zombie jungle gym. If there was another reason not to fear this Tank in particular, it was that there seemed to be a very smitten cross dresser on top of him.

As soon as he saw his little cute zombie, the one that kind of paid him attention, Rowan slunk his way to him and lifted him up, holding him close. "Hey there, lil buddy, what's up with you?"

Mira-Charma13 11-28-2010 11:00 AM

"You'd best watch your mouth around me, hun..." Viktor turned back around. "If I'm treated kindly, I treat kindly in return. Consider my feelings, and I'll consider yours..." He folded his big arms across his chest. "Try me. Let's knock off the bitchiness, and both be kind to each other. We'll find you a pool or something you can lay in for your change."

Morty was not convinced, especially since he was sure the other knew he couldn't speak Spanish. "I don't speak Spanish, dear. You should know that already..." He wrapped his fingers around one of Adalberto's hands. "Can we go talk about it? Alone?"

Curry slipped his other arm up to hold Shayne closer, in an awkward sort of hug, as he watched what was going on before them.

Charmase made an 'eep'-ing sound upon being picked up before smiling nervously. "Hunters make me very nervous..." he admitted, softly.

Dissociative_Dreamer 11-28-2010 11:10 AM

Seeing that he didn't have to be the one to try and smooth things over for once, he relaxed some and slid closer to Viktor, slumping against him. "Alright, fine. How long does it normally take? My ex was sick for weeks..." He didn't want to have to go into it; that ex hadn't been an ex until he had to have a katana shoved through his face when he attempted to eat the children.

"Sorry...there's nothing to talk about. I'm just hungry. Haven't eaten for three days, that's all." He hoped it would work, he really did. He didn't like to talk about his inadequacies, or even when he simply felt he had them and he didn't. "Anyway, I think now is as good a time as any to tell everyone about our plans...don't you?"

Shayne didn't mind, closing his eyes a moment and hugging Curry back, doing his best not to hug over his eyes.

Rowan held him close, "Ah, well, I'll protect ya. No need to worry with me around~" Or, maybe that was even more cause to worry.

Mira-Charma13 11-28-2010 11:15 AM

"It varies. Anywhere from a few hours to a few days." Viktor welcomed the smaller man into his arms, examining the bite. "He got you pretty good...maybe less than a day."

Morty huffed. He leaned up and gave him a gentle kiss on the lips before pulling away. "Were you jealous that I looked at Viktor like that?" he asked, slowly. "...He's pretty, and I appreciated that. It's not like I wanna jump on him. I already have a current interest..."

Curry grunted, upon hearing Adalberto. "Plans...?" Then he noted Morty's distaste and frowned. "...They can wait until you two finish talking."

Charmase, ever-trusting, didn't seem to find anything wrong with that. "Okay..."

Dissociative_Dreamer 11-28-2010 11:25 AM

"Mnn...am I supposed to get light headed?" He questioned, leaning a bit more on the much taller man. He felt pretty odd, very off, and maybe someone to say 'knock off the bitchiness and treat each other better' was just what he needed. For the first time in a few weeks, he felt relaxed.

Of course, Morty had to go and hit the nail right on the head. In order to ignore the fact that he was completely and utterly right, he brought the other back into the kiss and gave him one that showed quite a bit more than he'd wanted. "I...tend to have this... Issue, I guess." He mumbled, not wanting everyone to hear. "I'm not often what everyone wants around, so I try...and...I get nervous when something better is presented." He made sure to say it all against the smaller zombie's lips.

Shayne curled down some and kissed at Curry's forehead. "You can still talk with the stitches, that's good.." He mumbled, "How does your jaw feel?"

Rowan didn't seem to find a word wrong with it, either. Except he almost immediately forgot what he had said.

Mira-Charma13 11-28-2010 11:30 AM

"I don't know. I passed out during my change after two or three hours...all I felt was a hell of a lot of pain. Didn't matter much to me, since I'm used to it...had a bowl of cereal while I changed, as my final human meal..." Viktor informed him, amused. "You want me to carry you? Piggy-back? I can, if these people have a place I can put you..."

He glanced around. "Bathtub? Pool?"

Morty nuzzled him, leaning more into the kiss. "I like you. You don't have to worry," he assured him, softly.

"It burns. It should be better after a nap, though." Curry rarely got tired, but he did enjoy sleeping.

Charmase had no problem being held, still. He was curled up comfortably in the other male's arms. He was very innocent...but he could be easily frightened by things he didn't understand.

Dissociative_Dreamer 11-28-2010 11:42 AM

"Mnn...that doesn't sound fun. Last human meal... I dunno, I'm torn between chicken nuggets or egg rolls. Either with barbecue sauce." Lulu replied, nodding. "Or just a bottle of barbecue sauce..." Yeah, that was sounding good, less chewing and a lot more flavor.

"I also think we're being ignored."

"Promise?" Adalberto whispered, kissing him again before feeling the need to break it in order to help out their new comrades. "Hey, Charma? Do you have a pool?"

Shayne nodded a little. "I'm sorry...we could get some stuff to put on it, if you want."

Rowan had no problem with innocence, either. He loved to take it away and use it to his own advantage. He liked to make people his, after all. That meant they didn't leave him.

Mira-Charma13 11-28-2010 11:46 AM

"Do I what?" Charma looked over, curiously. "Yes, there's a pool at my place. And a hot tub."

The mention of a hot tub had Morty squirming around. He loved jacuzzis. "Promise..." he murmured, snuggling against his interest.

"No, no. I'll be fine." Curry arched an eyebrow at Adalberto's outburst. "His house? You want to change homes?"

Viktor held Lulu up, then frowned. "I'm going to pick you up...much easier that way." He slid his arms beneath the man and then scooped him up into his arms, holding him to him comfortably.

Dissociative_Dreamer 11-28-2010 11:58 AM

"Well...we were talking, the three of us," Adalberto gestured between Morty, Charma and himself, "And, especially since there's not eight of us... We figure his place would be much easier to live at. Plus, it's bigger, a mansion... We'd need to bring the generator so we could have power, but it'll be easy. My uncle worked at the U-Haul place, so I can get a truck, I can drive them. Morty wants some things from his place, so we can go get that and the generator. Then we can head to his place," He pointed at Charma, "And set everything up. Besides, it'll be roomier for more than just you, we're definitely going to have quite a bit of people hanging around." Because he didn't want to leave anyone now in the group, simply for safety's sake. What if they got angry and attacked them? Or, he wasn't sure, but some other hosts of bad things could happen. Besides, Morty seemed very happy with the mention of a hot tub, so he wanted to go and check it out.

Rowan rose a brow. Then he paused, thought it over, and grinned. "Duuuuude~ You're okay in my book if ya gotta mansion. Is it like the one in RE? That would be like, awesome sausage!"

Shayne actually looked like he was thinking it over. It made sense, there were quite a few of them, now. Especially if the latest two were coming back with them, they'd need a big place to stay. He looked down at Curry, waiting for his response.

Lulu nodded a little, cuddling close to him without thought, it seemed. He was comfortable, for the moment, and his brain was starting to fuzz up with pain. He didn't particularly enjoy it.

Mira-Charma13 11-28-2010 12:07 PM

"I used to live in a mansion. It's trashed, now...burned to the ground. I managed to save some of my stuff...can I swing by my place and get it? It's enough to carry on my back..." Viktor explained, wearily. He was in need of a nap. He held Lulu close. He had a feeling they would all need a nap before doing anything.

Morty smiled, nuzzling Adalberto's chest gently. "Hot tub!" he exclaimed, cheerily.

"As long as it's big enough for all of us, I don't have any issues with the idea..." Curry said, finally.

Charmase blinked. "...RE...?" he shook his head slightly. "It's a big mansion..."

Dissociative_Dreamer 11-28-2010 12:22 PM

Adalberto almost felt like he was the leader, just for this moment. "Will it be okay if you leave it for tonight? I think you should keep him with you, at least..." Because it seemed everyone was paired in twos, and it wasn't good to separate people like that. Particularly when Lulu was in the shape he was in. He held Morty close, smiling at him and kissing his forehead.

Lulu closed his eyes, sighing a little. He then made a soft, whimpery noise, eyebrows knitting. It hurt, yes, but he wasn't going to let it show, not yet.

Shayne nodded, "I like big living arrangements. So I'm good."

"Resident Evil? It's only like, the greatest zombie video game ever." Rowan replied, "Not quite true, but it's cool."
