"Fine..." Viktor grunted, idly. "I'll go back for it later...can we head back to your current place for now? It seems like we all should just lay down and get some rest for a bit.
Curry seemed to like that idea. He held Shayne close, but then dropped his arms and started to walk back towards the house. "We can all get food once we wake up..." Morty cuddled with Adalberto, then tugged on his arm. "Let's go take a nap. I like that idea. There are spare pull-out beds...one in the living room, and one in the basement..." Charmase smiled, then yawned, softly. |
"Can I nap in water?" It was starting to sound like a good idea, his head swimming and body feeling like it was on fire. He hated it, absolutely hated it.
Shayne nodded a little, holding himself close to Curry and just smiling some. "Nap time sounds good." And food when they woke up sounded doubly as good. Adalberto smiled, following him along with a sleepy stumble. "Alright, we'll hit the sack, then wake up and eat... Then get to work on moving." Rowan smiled down at him, kissing him gently on the nose. He knew how to work this well. "I'll jus' follow you guys." |
"Sure. I'm sure they have a bathtub you can use," Viktor assured him, idly, as they walked.
"Good...I'm bushed..." And Curry needed to rest his healing jaw. It was hard for the flesh of zombies to heal...it was rough and tough. Morty seemed happy about sleeping, and then eating, as well. He was just tired from everything that had gone on today. Charmase giggled, then walked along with Rowan. He was tired, too...he would need more pills once he woke up. |
"Will you stay with me or will I be alone in a dark bathroom?" Lulu questioned, half-asleep already but not seeming to show it.
"Do you need me to get down?" Shayne questioned, head tilting some, and the other could feel it with how he'd finally ended up laying. He didn't mind walking a little, but it would probably be more productive to just keep carrying him. Adalberto was, too. So much fright had occurred that turned out to be nothing to worry about, and now he just needed to rest it off. Rowan smiled a little; if there was one good thing about him, it was that he was the pill master. In his jacket that never left him, were the pockets of the shady dealer you always saw in old movies. Each and every one held varying amounts and doses of pain killers; his favorite drug that he often forgot he had on him. |
"I can make a bed in the bathroom," Viktor replied, still sounding bored and tired.
"No, no..." Curry grinned when the house came into sight, speeding up a bit and heading for his garage-door entrance. Morty clung to Adalberto, also smiling when his home came into view. "We can stay in my room..." "...Which sofa-bed do you want? He said there are two pull-out beds...maybe the one in the basement?" Charmase asked, curiously. |
"Good...don't wanna be alone..." Lu was slipping out of consciousness, though, and soon lay limp in Viktor's arms.
Shayne was glad to not have to walk, yawning and closing his eyes for the rest of the walk there. He certainly didn't mind going in through the garage, this time, wanting to curl up on the strong chest of his new friend and go to sleep. They really had formed a buddy system, he could tell that, now. Even the few who had just really met had paired off, and it made him smile some. Nobody was left out, and that felt good, "Okay." He didn't even really know what he was answering; he was tired and on cloud nine, and the entire day seemed to be catching up to him. "Basement works for me.." Rowan nodded, yawning wide and holding it for a little bit, his tongue sliding out and wrapping around Charmase's wrist, up where the claws first began. He didn't seem to fear them at all. |
Viktor quickly made his way into the house, not so comfortable on two legs as much as he was on four. He found the biggest bathroom after a few moments of searching and laid Lulu on the floor so he could fill the bathtub up.
Curry made his way towards his room in the back and slid Shayne down before plopping down on his mattress, sighing heavily. Morty led the way up the only flight of stairs in the house, towards a door that was painted black. The room inside was black and orange-themed, like Halloween...he also had a big bed. Charmase didn't seem to mind the tongue. He was busy searching around for the basement door. |
The weight Lulu presented slowly began to grow and shrink all at one time. His body didn't want to mutate as much as it should have, and it certainly wasn't shifting into something ugly. But there was still the fact that it was between stages, looking odd was going to happen.
Shayne stood on the floor long enough to remove his shoes and dump them on the floor before getting up and climbing onto Curry's chest. "Mind if I sleep up here?" Following with a couple more stumbled, Adalberto smiled some and hugged him close, kissing the back of his ear. "Nap time.." He purred, "I sleep naked, is that okay?" Following him, not minding his tongue hanging out, Rowan simply did his best to help, even if it wasn't all that helpful. |
When the bathtub was finally filled up to the brim, Viktor turned it off, carelessly stripped his companion, and slid him into the bathtub, in a position where his head wouldn't fall under and he wouldn't drown. Once he was in, he padded around in a slow circle on all fours before settling down on one of the bath mats, in a dog-like fashion.
Curry chuckled. "No...just don't squirm too much..." He was already groggy. "More than okay..." Morty purred, in response. "Shall I sleep naked, as well...? I certainly don't mind... Charmase finally located the basement door and headed downstairs. It was a small but cozy basement, and it was nice and quiet. He began to pull the bed out of the couch, pleasantly. |
While Lulu slept, his body continued to be flooded by the virus. He didn't seem to notice much of anything, not even that he lay in the water. Nothing stuck in his brain at the moment.
"Mmkay." Curling up and tugging a blanket he'd found up over them, Shayne lay across the other's chest and closed his eyes. Sleep wouldn't be hard tonight. "Mm, baby, if you don't mind it, then gof or it." Adalberto kissed him before finding a good spot to strip, now showing that he didn't wear underwear. Once he was ready for bed, he turned, "Any specific place you like on the bed, angel de mi via?" Rowan was busy checking out the basement, then smiled and moved over to help some with his tongue. It was the strongest part on his body, after all. |
Viktor slept soundly on the floor, though he twitched every once in a while like he was running in his sleep. Hunters were quite dog-like...so it was no surprise that he dreamed like one.
Curry was out before he was. It was tiring carrying all of his upper body weight around all day. Morty turned away to strip, as well. This revealed that he had a tattoo right above his waist on his back. It was a mix of tribal markers and a skull and crossbones, all black. Charmase sighed once he had the bed all the way out, with Rowan's help. There was a blanket folded on the top of the couch, so he plucked that down and then began to settle down to rest. |
Rowan slid into bed with Charmase and pulled him so close there wasn't a breath of air between them before finally falling asleep. He was very lazy, so he had no problems sleeping, ever.
As soon as Morty was stripped, Adalberto tugged the small zombie into bed with him. "You truly are gorgeous, mi amor." He whispered, laying down with him and cuddling close. "Please, snuggle with me?" He had a need for it, now, as he was going to sleep. Shayne was just as tired; all he'd been through in one day was good at doing that. He slept relatively soundly throughout the night, but was the first to wake up. He'd had quite a bit to drink during his shower, and now it was time for pee. Getting up at around eight, he slid off of his rather comfortable moving mattress and stumbled to the bathroom. He easily found the toilet and unwrapped himself from the tape, holding himself in place and letting his body go. When he was done, he wiped up and headed back to bed, carefully climbing back onto the zombie who had made for a rather surprisingly comfortable bed the previous night. He lay his head back on him and closed his eyes, hoping to just rest for a little bit. "Oooh...my head..." And his jaw; it felt like it was more comfortable hanging open than being closed. He wasn't particularly fond of that, but that was okay, for now. He shifted some, and the sound of the water made his bladder scream for release. He got up and felt it dribbling down his body, and cold air blasted over him. His legs shook as he walked, but nothing too bad to worry about struck him right away. He made his way to the toilet, very nearly tripping over the Hunter on the floor, before finding himself standing over the toilet. However, instead of peeing like he thought he would, he bent over and retched into the bowl, not making much noise past the wet slopping noise of chunky liquid hitting water. Not thinking much into it, he wiped at his face and headed back for the tub; he wasn't completely turned, yet, but he was so frightfully close that his body had woken him up. |
Charmase accepted the cuddling, and fell asleep just a few moments after snuggling into bed. He was the first to wake up, but he didn't get up right away. He was too comfortable where he was laying.
But something else was nagging at him. There was a painful sort of throbbing in his head, and he was starting to feel the need to cry... Morty had no problem snuggling in with Adalberto, despite their being stark naked. He knew they were too tired to want to do anything more right now, so he just settled down to sleep. He woke up before Adalberto later on, and he sat up, stretching slightly. He was very pale--stark white. He had beautiful skin, of course...it had barely been marred by the infection. Curry grunted when he was laid on, stirring himself awake. Seeing that Shayne was comfortable, he simply lifted one of his big hands up to rest on the boy's back while they enjoyed what little was left of their sleep. Viktor, who hated the sounds of puking, was awake in no time. Hunters had a great sense of smell, but that hindered him right now. He growled, burying his face in his arm. He would politely wait to speak or even get up until Lu was finished. Once he did finish, he flushed the toilet pointedly, making a face, and sat on his haunches, staring over at his companion. |
While Rowan was about as awake as a dead cat, he still rustled around in his pockets and yanked out a bottle. Four pills for him and four for his bedmate, that was the usual amount. He popped his and swallowed, and then shoved them at the other's mouth before wrapping his arm around his chest, tugging him in, despite him laying on his stomach, and allowed his mind to fall back into dreamland. This was the usual morning routine for Rowan; the pills would wake him up.
It wasn't often that Adalberto slept for very long, especially lately, simply because of the danger everywhere. But his body was tired and his mind knew he was safe, so he remained asleep, for now, wrapping an arm around Morty's waist in his sleep. He loved to be close to people as he slept, especially those he was interested in. It was comfortable and his body pushed gently into the hand, a small smile coming to his face. Looking at the other's face after blinking over his emerald eyes, he leaned down and gently kissed Curry's forehead, avoiding that jaw so it wouldn't hurt too soon. "Mornin'." He mumbled, eyes half-lidded. Looking over, he spoke with a little difficulty, finally starting to realize something was off. "Sorry....the need was felt, and I met it...thought I'd pee, though." But he didn't seem to care too horribly much. He moved over to the sink and grabbed at some Listerine, dumping it in his mouth and doing his best to swish it. He then yawned and turned to look at him again. "Morning?" |
Charmase hesitated, even though he already had them in his mouth, but he gave up and swallowed, not knowing what exactly he could do about his sudden need to return to his Witch-like habits. He would wait patiently for Rowan to wake up...he didn't feel like moving just yet.
Morty rested his head comfortably against the man's chest, humming slightly to pass the time. He didn't mind resting, but he needed something to do or he would get all twitchy. Curry patted Shayne's back slowly, gently. He didn't know his own strength sometimes, so it was easy to hurt smaller people if he wasn't paying attention to what he was doing. "Morning..." "Hell if I know. I don't own a watch..." Viktor sniffed the air slightly. "I'm so hungry..." |
And, unless he was woken up, Rowan wouldn't wake up for another...six or eight hours. He slowly started to, though, because there was an odd smell in the air. His head lifted and he slowly blinked twice, then looked over at Chamase. "You okay?" He could have sworn the smell was coming from him, but he couldn't be sure. His nose was wonky sometimes.
Granted, it didn't take too much longer for the humming to push him out of dreamland and into the land of the awake. He somewhat recognized the tune and his chest rumbled as he hummed it with the small zombie. "Wakey, wakey, eggs and bakey." Except he didn't figure that sounded very good to the other. "Er...rabbits and...raw bacon? I dunno." He mumbled, "Buenos dias, mi amor." "Mm...sleep well?" This was a nice way to wake up. Being pet, exchanging soft words, feeling that chest beneath him rumble with each one... It was nice. "Well, I doubt eating the survivors in the house is a good idea. Particularly since the one with the tank seems pretty close to him..." Lulu replied, "Is that why you're so grumpy?" The hunger hadn't quite hit him, yet, but it was starting to nag his brain. |
There were some stray tears making their way down Charmase's face--the pills would take a while to kick in. His eyes were beginning to glow more than usual. Witches were very dangerous when they didn't have something to control their terrible migraines...
Morty purred, amused. "Anything sounds good to me...meat is good. Raw meat is better...I'm still fond of candy, but I have a feeling Charma is going to get all of it now that he's with us." "Quite. I'm not tired anymore..." Curry stretched his legs out slightly. "...I'm hungry again..." "Probably..." Viktor needed food to function. Hunters were terrible when they were hungry. Like Tanks, they would snap if they didn't get food on a near-constant basis. And Hunters had awful tempers. |
Of course, Rowan had the intelligence of a small rabbit, but the ability to put it into use like a blind squirrel. Granted, even blind squirrels found a nut every so often. "If that doesn't work, I got somethin' else." A couple other witches had loved him for the pills and other such things he had stashed. "Open up." He held a tube to the other's mouth. It was a good thing he'd fallen out in his jacket.
"Well, I have a feeling we should go find some food. After all, Shayne and I are the only pieces of raw meat running around in here, and we have a freshly turned zombie in the house. I really don't mean to offend, but I don't want to be on the menu, and I doubt Curry wants to snap necks too soon for trying to eat a Shayne-kabob." He slowly sat up. "So...should we see if everyone's up?" "I'm not, either.." Shayne paused, "Then we should probably go find you some food." He wouldn't say anything about his own hunger, not at the moment. "But I bet you aren't the only one." The spitter simply shook his head some, looing around before sighing. "So, are we ready to see just how horrid I look? I've seen some pretty nasty looking spitters..." And he had a feeling he looked positively awful. |
Charmase turned his head away, slowly. "...No more..." he managed, finally. "They'll take a while to work..." he absently rested his head on the other's chest, closing his eyes. The tears still flowed, but they would stop soon as long as nothing was done to fully startle his Witch-instincts.
Normally, they didn't like being close to people...but for now, it seemed Rowan was an exception. Loud noise and bright light were no-nos. Morty nodded, standing up. His tattoo was much more visible in the daylight. It was well-done...very professional. He pulled his clothing back on slowly. Curry grunted, and then helped Shayne down from where he was perched on his chest. "I bet not..." He struggled to stand up but eventually did so. "You don't look too bad." Viktor wasn't picky when it came to looks. The Spitter he had been with, however, had not been too mutated... |
"Morphine packets usually work quicker." Thankfully, Rowan's voice wasn't all that loud. And, it was probably also a good thing that they had taken the dark, quiet basement. He gently rubbed at the other's back, not making much noise; he was good at this. He'd been around a couple other witches, and he'd always been pretty popular with them. He vaguely wondered if they would still love him if he just ended up with one.
Hopefully, nobody came into the basement. "Your tattoo is really nice..." He smiled, "I'm a bit too scarred for one, but Shayne has one." And Rowan...under his clothes, there were tons of tattoos and piercings that were unheard of. He slid out of bed to get dressed, as well, before coming over and kissing his cheek. Standing and putting on his shoes, the small male looked up at the other. Waiting for him to sit up, then stand, Shayne stretched and taped himself back. "We're going to need to pick up tape..." He nodded, "Masking, preferably, at some point." "Too bad, key word." Lulu replied, moving into the light and looking into the mirror. He wasn't too mutated, it just seemed that his jaw had elongated just enough that his mouth wouldn't close completely. His neck didn't grow through the roof and he almost felt he looked pretty. "Not too bad, you're right." |
Charmase just stayed cuddled up close to him, his crying softer than it usually was. The crying of Witches could be heard from many miles away, usually...but the pills were working already, though the effect was slow, so the crying was lower.
It only took a few more minutes for Charmase to completely calm down. The tears stopped, and he sighed, slowly. "They're not scary if you get them from a reputable artist..." Morty admitted, as he pulled his shirt on over his head. "Okay, so the agenda for today...food, then truck, then packing, then moving?" Curry nodded idly. "There should be some tape in the house somewhere...I think all he has is duct tape, but you can look around..." Viktor stood up to his full height, back cracking a bit. "Damn, I'm hungry..." He glanced around, frowning. "We should get food..." |
Rowan held him happily, humming very, very gently where even he could barely hear it. And there wasn't a mouth closer to your ear than your own, most of the time, so that was saying something. After the crying stopped, he leaned down and gently kissed him.
"Feeling better, babe?" He questioned softly, head tilting some. "I know...unless you're coated in them. Rowan doesn't have skin, he has tattoos." Adalberto nodded, "That sounds good to me. I bet everyone else will agree, too." Shayne nodded a little, "Need masking, it's much better on the skin." He paused, "Let's go on downstairs...please?" He wanted to see who else was up and could go eat. Being in here with two zombies he knew little to nothing about made him nervous. "Yeah, we should, shouldn't we?" Lulu replied, "I'm starting to feel pretty hungry, too." And a fresh zombie, generally, ate more than an older one, simply because it was almost like an infant. They needed more to nourish what was being turned. |
"Yep." Charmase went pink upon being kissed, seeing as he wasn't used to it. "I'm getting hungry...let's go see who else is up. Maybe we can get food..." Witches rarely ate meat. And Charmase was a vegetarian. He would only eat sugary things, now.
Morty offered him his hand, and once he took it, he started heading downstairs to the living room. "Sure..." Curry led the way out of his room and back towards the living room. "Don't eat either of the humans." Viktor was sorely tempted to, but he didn't want to feel the wrath of that Tank's fists on him. |
Oh, oh, that was a cute look on the witch. Those cheeks pinked, even a bit of a confused look in those pretty eyes. He smiled and kissed him again. "Alright, let's go see what we can get." He began to climb out of their bed, stretching some and hearing his back pop happily.
Adalberto happily took his hand and followed him downstairs, looking around. It seemed they were the first in the room, and that made him wonder if the others were even up. Shayne followed along behind him, not too upset about it, for once. They were safe in the house, and he would likely be protected no matter what, considering he and this Tank seemed fond enough of each other. "I know, I know. I doubt just a bite would hurt, though..." Chewing on his tongue instead of his lip a moment, Lulu sighed. "Better be something good we can eat nearby." |
Charmase shifted out of bed, standing slowly. His legs were a little wobbly, but he managed to stand up straight. Witches didn't need too much food...the biggest pigs of the more intelligent zombies were Hunters and Tanks.
"Food..." Morty complained, as the others walked in. "Let's go and find some. I know there are a few good restaurants nearby that may still have some food in them...maybe department stores, too..." "Anything is good for me...raw meat is the best..." Curry grunted, gruffly. He wanted food in his stomach as quickly as possible. Viktor nodded idly, then shoved the other's clothes into his hands. "You're nude, if you haven't noticed. Let's go and see if the others know where to get food." |
