"Well its starting to get dark so lets just wait until morning"

"Alight. You go ahead and sleep. I can stay awake for up to 3 weeks"

Kiana smiles softly before nodding laying her head on his shoulder closing her eyes.

Kane stayed in dragon form throughout the night. When the sun rose, Kane shifted back to his human form. "Hey, Kiana. Rise and and shine" he said as he gently nudged her awake.

Kiana slowly wake up "What.....?"

"It's morning. We'd better continue on our way. I'm sure your pack is worried about you"

Kiana sits up rubbing her eyes "I guess so"

Kane looked around the forest. "All clear. Let's get a move on"

Kiana nods and walks out of the cave.

Kane stayed by Kiana's side as they walked through the forest, staying vigilant. "So how much farther to your pack?"

"Not far" Kiana says turning to look at him.

"Good. Because I haven't eaten in two days. I hope your pack has a fresh kill"

Kiana giggles "They always do"

Kane looked ahead and saw a den with wolves guarding it. "I'm assuming that's the place?"

Kiana looks ahead and nods "Yea thats the place"

"I just hope that I get a warm welcome"

Kiana looks at him "Just stick with me ok"

Kane stayed by Kiana's side. He approached the wolves. "Greetings. My name is Kane. I was escorting your pack member Kiana after she had been attacked by a hunter"

Kiana rolls her eyes when her "future" husband came out. He was the best hunter and fighter that they had.

"I know what everyone is thinking about. Yes hes a dragon, but hes not what you think he is" Kiana says looking at Kane.

"Who's the big brute?" Kane whisperd to Kiana.

Kiana turns and looks at Kane "Thats Jake, the pack decided that we should get married....and I don't even like the guy"

Jake looks at Kane, glaring at him.

Kane bowed. "A pleasure to meet you, Jake. Do you haqbe any food? I haven't eaten in the longest time"

Jake goes over to Kane moving Kiana away from him "Thank you for being her back, you can leave now" he says glaring at him still.

"Jake stop it" Kiana says moving Jake out of the way and takes Kane's hand in hers leading him to the food.

Kane shifted into dragon form. He saw the fresh kill and tore off a large chunk.

Kiana smiles at him "Ill be back" she says softly running her hand over his scales before going back to the pack.
