Chimera wanderd into the room. "Why are you all happy?"

Kiana looks down at Chimera "You're going to have a baby brother or sister"

Chimera was overcome with joy. "Yay! Where's the baby?" Kane picked him up. "Well, right now it's in your mommy's tummie" Chimera put his paw on Kiana's tummy. "How?"

Kiana smiled when her son become happy. "We'll tell you about that when you're older" she says kissing his cheek.

"When's the baby coming?" Chimera asked. "9 months. Plenty of time for you to get ready" Kane said.

Kiana smiled, brushing the hair out of her son's eyes "Are you ready for a brother or sister Chimera?"

"I hope I get a little sister" Chimera said with a big smile.

Kiana smiles and looks at Kane "A girl sounds nice"

"It would be nice to even the odds. You're already outnumberd two to one" Kane said with a smile.

Kiana giggled putting her hand on her stomach "Yes I know but I don't mind being the only girl"

"Just as long as we have a healthy baby, I'm happy" Kane said.

"Me too, now who's hungry?" Kiana says walking into the kitchen.

Chimera's tummy growled. "Me,me,me!" "How about I cook up some spaghettie and meatballs?" Kane said.

"That sounds nice" Kiana says pulling out the pasta.

"Spaghettie! Spaghettie!" Chimera said happily, flapping his wings.

Kiana smiled and starts to boil the pasta.

Kane cooked up the meatballs and the sauce. "Ok, dinner is ready"

Kiana set the table and put Chimera into his high chair.

Kane set everyone's plate. Chimera dove right in as usual, slurping up the spagehtti and getting sauce all over his muzzle.

Kiana giggled watching her son eat as she bites into a piece of one of the fresh rolls she made.

Kane wiped off Chimera's muzzle. "You need to learn some manners" Kane said with a smile. Chimera giggled.

Kiana ate a fork full of pasta, wiping the small amount of sauce that got on her lips. "We'll teach him that later"

After dinner Kane cleaned the dishes and sat with kiana and Chimera on the couch.

Kiana held Chimera in her lap and then looks up at Kane when he came over.

Chimera put his paws on Kiana's tummy. "I can't wait to meet the baby"
