Kane was bleeding from the side. "Don't worry about me. Are you and the children ok?"

"Yea the children are fine, I put a barrier up" Kiana says walking over to him.

Kane was still in dragon form. His wound was deep.

Kiana bites the corner of her lip looking at the wound "We need to get you inside"

Kane paused. "More hunters are coming. Get inside and guard the children, I'll hold them off"

"Kane no you're already injured badly" Kiana says touching his cheek.

"They want me. And they won't stop until I'm dead. I have to destroy them here and now" Kane nuzzled Kiana. "I love you" He then took to the skies.

Kiana closes her eyes when he nuzzled her cheek. "I love you too" she says watching him fly off into the sky before entering the daycare closing the barrier behind her.

The hunters emerged from the woods. They fired their arrows up at Kane. He breathed fire down apon them.

Kiana watches out from the window and messes with her necklace her father gave her.

Kane flew back up and went around for another dive attack. One of the hunters fired a shot from a .50 calibur sniper rifle. The shot hit Kane.

Kiana's eyes just widen when Kane got hit with the bullet, it felt like her heart just stopped.

Kane crashed to the ground. The bullet had struck him in the leg. The other hunters put a net over Kane and pinned him down.

Kiana could feel her energy leak out of her. She walks out the daycare center and walks towards the hunters "Get the hell away from my husband..."

"Kiana, stay back!" Kane shouted. "And what will you give us in exchange for your husband?" One of the hunters asked.

Kiana looks at Kane and then at the hunter who spoken "Me"

"What!? Kiana don't!" Kane pleaded. "Deal" The hunters tied up Kiana, then marched off into the woods.

Kiana looks over her shoulder at Kane before they disappear into the woods.

Kane freed himself from the net. He shifted to human form. He was bleeding badly. Chimera ran out to him. The elders took Kane inside to be healed.

Chimera look at Kane "Daddy...where's mommy?"

"Mommy is ok. I will bring her back, I promise" Kane layed on the table as he was sewn up and bandaged.

Chimera holds his dad's hand "Ok Daddy"

Kane hugged Chimera. "Everything will be alright, I promise"

Chimera hugs him back, burying his face into his chest.

At the hunter's camp, the leader held a knife to Kiana's throat. "Don't worry, we're not going to kill you. You'll fetch a lot more money on the white slave market"
