Kiana smiles "Yea it was fun"

"I knew you would like it" Kane helped Kiana down. "Say, is it ok if I spend the night?"

Kiana nods "Yea thats fine with me" she says softly her hand slowly leaving his.

Kane shifted to human form. "Maybe you could be in wolf form? I would like to have a pillow" he said jokingly.

Kiana smiles softly "That probably won't happen....I share a room with Jake"

"Even after the way he treated you? Why do you put up with him?"

"The elders" Kiana says softly turning her head softly "After my parents died they took me in, my parents really liked Jake. And they thought we would be the power couple of the pack."

"I understand. I know what it's like to take orders from those who are higher up"

Kiana looks at him "Oh really?"

"Yeah, my king. Vulok"

"I see" Kiana says looking at him.

"I can still spend the night, can't I? I'll just slep in another part of the den"

"Yea thats fine with me" Kiana says as she starts walking back to the den, it wasn't far away.

As they arrived at the den, Kane thought it best that they seperate for the night. "Well, goodnight" Kane shifted to dragon form, and curled up in a private corner.

"Good night" Kiana says softly going into her den and Jake was there.

As Kane slept, he recieved a message from Vulok. "Kane, where are you?" "I with a pack of wolves. I saved one of them and-" "You are supposed to stay in the city! Report back there at once. We need every kaiju in place" "I understand, my lord" Kane got up and crept out of the den, but not before kissing Kiana goodbye while she slept. He then flew back to the city.

Kiana's eyes slowly open feeling something against her lips. Looking over at Jake, he was sound asleep. Well it wasn't him she thought to herself. Suddenly it came to her. Getting out of the bed she runs outside and doesn't find Kane.

Kane landed on the rooftop of his apartment building and shifted to human form. He went down to his apartment and sat in a chair, letting out a long sigh.

Kiana goes back inside and notices that Jake was sitting up looking at her "What now Jake? I told you I was sorry"

"Your looking for him, arn't you?"

"No I felt something touch me" Kiana says getting back into the bed.

Jake looked down at Kiana. "Go. I know that look you have in your eyes. Go find him"

Kiana looks at him and touches his cheek softly kissing his other cheek softly before leaving. "Thank you Jake" she says leaving the den.

Jake went back to sleep. The next morning, Kane sat at an outdoor cafe, drinking some coffee and reading the newspaper. But his mind was still on Kiana.

Kiana was walking down the streets of the city. She had different clothes on this time. She was wearing a plaid mini skirt with a short sleeve shirt with a black vest over it. Looking around, her heels tapped against the sidewalk as she walked.
