"M'lord. It's time to wake up."
The voice of his servant made him stir from his sleep as he tightened his hold on her. His arm, which was around her waist, pulled her back closer to him. With this close distance, he could smell her sweet blood and he couldn't help himself from kissing her shoulder. He traced his fangs lightly along her bare, soft skin before he'd settled with pressing a kiss onto the side of her neck. The kiss onto his own shoulder blade made him aware of the presence of the man behind him and he smiled in satisfaction. As a future King to this country, he never wavered from his responsibilities but he needed to feed, too, and he could only do that to his servants who offered their life of servitude under him in exchange for their protection and their family being fed.
"Shall I prepare your bath for you, M'lord?" The man behind him asked as he shifted to sit up. Drake shifted under the covers to hover above the lady servant as he pressed a light kiss onto her lips. "Please do," he told him, "Thank you." Once the weight had shifted off from his bed, he turned his attention back at the woman before him who bared her neck to him.
Breakfast was served.
About a few minutes later, Drake was fully clothed in silk and he was currently sitting by the royal window pain in his room with a History book open on his lap. The male servant was seated on the floor, by his side, and he was currently arranging the documents that Drake was going to have to go through later on. His father and his mother weren't present so he had to do most of his father's job. Not that he minded. He showed his worth when he took over. It felt nice to be praised and not be overshadowed by his father. He did little charities in the city that his father was going to be proud of, did some sort of contest, as well, and bedded a few of the citizens. But of course, he only bedded them for their blood.
Drake had to wipe off their memories about him biting them and only made them remember the pleasures they'd feel during the night. "Is it almost time?" he asked his servant as he tore his attention from the book to look at him. The servant smile and bowed his head. "I see. Bring those to the other room. I will follow soon."

A young man entered the building of the secret vampire hunters' headquarters. He has lived here since he was a young boy. Now he was 17. Today was to be his first solo assiment for the headquarters.
He knocked lightly on the door to the boss's room. The boss, who happened to be his grandfather, called for him to come in. "Good day Ian." he said to the man.
"Good morning Grandfather." Ian said. He smiled slightly at the elder man. He reached up and brushed the bangs of his black hair out of his face. It was always hanging over his sky-blue eyes. Though it never really annoyed him. Annoyed his parents though. He refused to cut it.
"Your target today is named Drake. You'll find him in the vampire castle." the elder said.
"Yes sir. I understand." He went over a few more details with him before he was dismissed.
He was dressed in black pants, a black shirt, black gloves, and black riding boots. Yeah, he liked the color black. It helped blend in with the dark. He had a dagger strapped to his belt. It wasn't much, but he didn't think he would need anything else. He headed out to find the vampire castle.
When he did find it, it was several hours later. He looked around for a way in. Upon finding it, he snuck in. Then began the search for his target.

The other servants of the palace didn't even notice the young man's presence. They were all busy preparing the young prince's meal: one of their slaves. He was to be dressed elegantly, as he'd instructed, and be brought to his room at midnight. The vampire was currently in the office, working on the papers for his father.
The servant that had been with him had left to help the other servants and he didn't mind the time alone. The windows were open, the dark clouds hovered above him, and the cool breeze brushed over his dead skin. His blue eyes turned crimson for a moment - a sign that he was getting hungry. Leaning back onto his seat, he let out a quiet sigh and brought up his hand to massage the bridge of his nose. In two years time, his father told him, he was to be married. He was also told that he needed to choose a groom or a bride quick if he wanted to take over the throne.
Two years, for a vampire, was a short time but how could he find someone fit to stand by his side if he had all the people bowing with his every order? I better finish this before the sun decides to rise again, he thought to himself as he returned his attention back to the table, to the papers that were laid down before him.

Ian avoided what appeared to be servants. They seemed to be getting ready for something, but he didn't know what. And he really didn't want to know. He just wanted to find his target. Up ahead appeared to be an office.
He opened the door just a crack to see in. What he saw was his target. 'There he is.' he thought. He silently drew his blade as he snuck into the room, not making a noise. He was behind the man, so it wasn't hard to come up behind him. 'This is way to easy...' he thought. The shrugged it off.
He raised to blade up when he was right behind him. Then he swung it down, aiming for the vampire's neck. He wanted to get this over with quickly so he could get back home as soon as he could.

Apparently, this human belittled vampires. Either that or he didn't do much of his homework. Drake had already long known someone had infiltrated the castle when he'd felt someone enter the room. He didn't lift his head, though, to make it seem like he hadn't noticed him. Just as that knife was swung down, he reached out to grab ahold of the wrist even before that knife could reach his neck. His vice-like grip held the wrist away from his neck as he looked up a bit towards the door.
"Who are you?" were the first words he spoke. His voice was dark, icy and definitely not friendly as he threatened to crush the other's wrist, "Answer me if you don't want your wrist broken, human."

Ian winced slightly when the vampire grabbed his wrist. He was not expecting that to happen. He didn't even know the vampire knew he was here. Though he wasn't sure how. He had been extremely quiet. Guess he had been wrong.
"My name is Ian." he said. He tried to pulled his wrist away form the vampire, but couldn't. "I was sent here to kill you." Why did he just say that? He isn't supposed to reveal his purpose to them. But he wasn't exactly thinking straight right now.

Drake was quite surprised at the boldness this man displayed by saying those words. "Are you aware such words warrant death to the one who'd said such a cursed thing?" he asked before he'd did a little dance with Ian and forced his arm behind his back while he pulled him to sit on his lap, "I can have you killed right this instant or kill you with my own hands but I'll not do that."
The vampire's nose trailed along the side of Ian's neck. His blood was sweet, as sweet as his slaves when they offered their blood so openly to him. "Your blood would be a waste." As if that wasn't enough, he gave the other a little taste of his own medicine. The male bared his fangs, sunk it into his skin and took a little blood. Such an act would give the other pleasure and of course, feed him of his thirst.

Death?! No. Ian was not aware of that little fact. If he had, he probably wouldn't have come. He was a bit surprised when the vampire pulled him into his lap. That was not what he expected. He expected the vampire to kill him instantly.
The young slayer flinched away from the vampire when his face came near his neck. He tried to pull his arm free again, but froze when he felt the vampire's fangs go into his neck. His eyes widen slightly. Again it was something he wasn't expecting. Also it was something he didn't want to happen.

Once he'd gotten enough to keep him going, he lavishly licked the other's neck and smiled slyly. He licked his own lips, too, to relish the human's blood. He tasted really good, oddly. "I want you," he started as he pulled him close. His free hand traced the side of the young slayer's cheek as he tilted his chin up. "Stay with me, Ian."
"Tell me who it is that sent you."

Ian jerked away from the vampire the best he could. He did not like him touching him. Come to think of it, he didn't like being touched at all. The vampire wants him to stay? Why, so he could drink more of his blood? No thanks. "I don't want to stay here." he said.
"And I won't tell you who sent me either."

Well, well, well, if he isn't one feisty human. The vampire pouted childishly and wrapped his free arm around Ian's waist. His inhuman strength pulled the other's body close to his own. "Aw, come on. Don't be such a sour puss," he started as he blew into Ian's ear, "We're going to have loads of fun, too, if you stay." Sighing at the human's last words, his eyes flashed a crimson for a moment.
"Or would you rather death? I could easily give you that."

Ian struggled with the vampire when he was pulled closer. He wanted to get away from him. "I don't want to stay here." he said again. Why couldn't the vampire understand that? Was it to hard for him?
"I won't betray them. I'd rather die."

~New RP~
Seth walked down the streets of an old town. He hasn't been here in years. He had moved away as a kid and never came back. He's never wanted to. And yet here he is. Back again.
He was trying to remember his way around the town. The slight breeze blew his black hair out of his sky-blue eyes. His hair was a bit longer in the front, which made it hang in his face. Along with that, he was wearing a black, long-sleeved t-shirt with holes in the sleeves for his thumbs to go through, black baggy pants, and black boots. He tended to dress mainly in black most of the time.
After a while, he finally found the place he was looking for. It was a medium sized cafe that was looking for new waiters. Sure, it wasn't something he wanted to do. But he did need the money. He went inside and spoke with the manager. He was hired and started immediatly. He tied the black apron around his waist and began working.

The familiar face caught him by surprise. He almost dropped the glasses he was holding if it weren't for his quick reflexes. Quickly setting the glasses down on the booth and uttering a short, "Enjoy," to the customers, he came over to Seth's side and clapped his back. "Hey," he said with a small smile, "Long time no see. Seth, right?"
Of course, he remembered him. He was his friend back in High school wasn't he? He wasn't sure why he left, though, but that was the last he'd seen of him. He just wondered 'til now what was up with him. "It's me, Shawn." The male with the bright blond hair and blue eyes grinned brightly. "Do you still remember me?"

Seth turned when he felt someone touched his back. It was someone he hasn't seen in a while. "Yeah. I remember, Shawn. It's been years since I've seen you." he said. He was a bit surprised that he did see him here. He was expecting for him to move away after graduation. That is what most people did. "So.. You work here?" he asked.

"You bet it's been years." Apparently, he stayed. Shawn had to for his younger sister. She's close to graduating, though, from College and she, if he remembered right, was going to move out. He'll be having the apartment all to himself. "Yeah," he said with a nod, "Though this isn't my only job." The guy winked and laughed merrily. "I'm an escort, too, at Pegasus downtown."
When he was called, he let out a short, "Ah," and excused himself. "Well then, try not to break anything. The manager's got a short fuse here." Smiling at the said old face, he started to make his way to the counter to start serving the drinks that had been sitting there.

An escort? That was the last thing Seth was expecting from Shawn. He watched as the other man went back to work. He would remember that little bit of advice. He didn't want to get fired on his first day.
He went around, table to table, taking orders. It was an extremely boring job. But it was still a job and he needed the money. The apartment he found wasn't exactly cheep. He figured he could just do this job until he could get a job that he actually wanted to do.

Indeed, it would be. Shawn was a smart guy, after all. He didn't have to try out too much to get the position he wanted. Hell, he could even be CEO if he'd only push himself to go into the corporate world. But, he was comfortable, too, just being an escort and a waiter. It paid the bills and his sister's school. That, and he had time to socialize and meet new people through his work.
"Someone you know?" one of his co-workers asked him as he motioned to the black-cladded guy with his mouth. The blond only nodded and smiled. "An old face. It's rare to see one these days in this city." "Hah. Tell me about it. They either fly off after graduation or disappear into the entertainment industry or corporate world. What made you stay?" Shawn only grinned and pointed to a customer needing help. "You better go if you don't want to be fired," he taunted his co-worker who quickly shuffled to his feet and went to attend the said customer.

Seth did really know what it was that he wanted to do. He wanted to be a cop. But also a firefighter and an artist and a doctor. He just couldn't decide. He'd probably end up being a cop. He'll go find the police station after his shift.
He chatted a bit with the customers, but his heart just wasn't in it. He just couldn't seem to focus. Which made him just about drop the tray a few times. But he always snapped out it just in time to stop himself. He couldn't wait for the shift to be over so that he could go back to his empty apartment. Which wasn't much of a happy thought.

Shawn just really like the people in the places he worked. "So," he started when he was on a little break. Taking the tray from Seth since he'd eyed him not focused on his job a few times, he put the orders down and held the now empty tray out to Seth. "What made you come back?" There weren't any new customers and they all seemed busy with whoever they were with. There was even a particular group that was rather noisy.
"Is this the job you want, too? You don't seem to like it."

I just ended up here. And no. This isn't the job I want. But I need to be able to pay the rent. Besides. I'm still not sure what it is that I want to do."

Once his shift was over, he took off his apron and handed it to the one next to take his shift. "See you around, Seth," he said with a grin as he'd stepped out and sprinted off to his next job.
