Ian dropped his gaze to the ground quickly, embarassed. "....Do you think we're really going to end up going to war?"

"I'm not sure but if we do then we'll be ready" Daniel says pulling out his father's sword.

"Right. Of course." Ian said, hoping he wouldn't have to take part in the fighting. It's not that he wouldn't... It's just that he didn't know how to fight.

Daniel looks at the sword holding it in the sunlight.

Ian watched him silently, waiting for something to do.

Daniel goes looks over at him "Ian"

Ian looked at Daniel. "Yes sir?" he asked.

"Do you still have feelings for me....even though I started seeing Isabella?" Daniel says turning to look at him.

Ian dropped his gaze to the ground, a light blush forming on his face. "Why do you ask that?"

"Don't know maybe because you can't stop looking at him" Daniel says tilting his head up.

Ian turned his head to the side so he didn't have to look at Daniel. "I'm just looking after you...."

"You're doing more then that" Daniel says placing a kiss against his neck.

Ian jumped back quickly, a blush forming on his face. "You shouldn't do that."

"And why not?" Daniel says moving closer to him.

Ian scooted back more. "Because you're with Isabella."

"You actually think I love her?" Daniel says backing him up against a wall.

"If you don't love her, why are you with her?" Ian asked, forcing the blush to stay off his face.

"It was a cover" Daniel says placing his hand beside his head "I didn't want the kingdom to know about us"

"Because you're embarassed by me?" Ian asked.

"No I'm not" Daniel says sighing "This kingdom is just stubborn"

"I'm sorry to hear that..." Ian muttered.

Daniel puts his hand under Ian's chin lifting it up "You know that I love you"

Ian turned his head away, not wanting to look at Daniel. "Yeah...."

Daniel slowly lets go of his chin "What is wrong with you?"

Ian shook his head. "Nothing's wrong... I just don't want someone to come in and see us."
