Fade couldn't help it,she had put her head on Sam's shoulder though she knew she had no right to."I'm doing just fine considering the circumstances."She thought she was doing more then fine,an impish urge cam over her and she gave in.Gently,to make it seem like an accident she nuzzled Samuel's neck as he walked.Not for very long,no just enough for a memory that she could cherish later when he would regain his own memories.Then, Irian was sure, the man would forget all about her again.

Sam smiled as he listened to fade say she was alright, "concitering the circomstance" this made him laugh a little. "Well Miss. Irian I'm still glad to be of assistance to you!" he stated and pressed forward. Sam tilted his head away from Fade as she nusseled his neck, he didnt know why but this action sent a shock of pleasur through his whole body and he was left wanting more. A small shiver ran down the boys spine. With a little shake Sam shook the feeling off and hoisted Fade further up his back. "C-Can you tell me more about what I forgot?" Sam asked looking back at the women as best he could. His golden eyes showing his intrest in the subject. "I'm not a narsasist or anything... actually I am, But I can't stand the feeling that I've forgotten something REALLY inportant!" he stated still looking at her as he walked. "I wanna know stuff I've forgotten, like how you know me and I am spose to know you, and maybe how that dumb rock fell on my head!" he stated and tried to remember before the rock hit him.

Fade laughed a little at this sudden renewal of interest in the subject."We didn't talk very much,you where always so busy trying to save someone or other.I was just the person who healed the hurts you got along the way.That's one of the things my stone used to help me do..Now it's just destruction.But back to what you want to know,at the time you where ..Not the boy you are now,but a man.You looked to be about twenty four or so and you acted like it too.None of the childish speech,and such strength and determination that lit your eyes!"She stopped for a moment and looked into the eyes Sam wore now.Golden ,like she remembered,but the look she remembered wasn't there anymore.Irian gave him a sad smile,all too aware that soon he would remember and it was a bittersweet thought. It would happen when his precious Emily needed him the most."People relied on you to get them out of the most dangerous situations,political or otherwise.the last time I saw you as you used to be..."Tears formed in Irian's eyes,she was becoming that woman once more while reminiscing ,she had to keep telling him!"This place they where sending you to,no one had come back yet.The Knights wanted you to rescue their fellows and you did!In my eyes the price was too much.They brought you to me,and you where in the shape of a fox.They said the dungeon had collapsed on you,just as you pushed the last Knight out. I healed you the best I could...There was so much blood!I'd never seen a fox bleed so much before.It was around the time they searched for another Guide for Fire,I did what I could and they chose you,saving your life in the process."Tears fell from her eyes as she remembered the dark bargain she'd made in order to get him back.It hadn't been quite so easy for the Knights to reach Samuel,and she'd sworn to serve an evil lord in order to gain the strength she'd needed to aid them and heal Sam after. Unconsciously she tightened her hold on him,quite unwilling to let him go.

Sam listened intently and kept his attenchion forward, he made sure to hang on every word in an attempt to remember. Though as Fade spoke he could here how she too rememberd him, some sort fo awsome hero! A smile spred accross his face as he herd he had lost himself helping people. Though sadness spred accross his face once he looked back and witnessed tears falling from fade's eyes. In a wave of sadness and urgency Sam set fade down and turned himself to face her.
"Oh, Miss. Irian don't cry!" he stated gripping her shoulders tigtly. "I'm still alive and still me... well I'm me in a new way I guess," he stumbled to try and make the women feel better. "That is I'm still the guy you remember just smallar!" he stated a wide smile forming on his face. Though that faded when the women before him didn't seem to cheer up. In a last ditch effort stam wrinkeled his eye brows, pursed his lips and thought hard about his next move,and in a sudden movement Sam wrapped his arms around Fade's shoulders and hugged her tightly. "You shouldent cry for a stilly littl fox, we know how to avoid danger better than a stupid dog!" He stated with a little huff at the end of his sentence. "Sides I'm not worth crying over!" he added pulling away and smileing widely.

The water continued to rise in the chamber the siblings had been traped in, and the heavy rocks above didnt budg any more. Both emily and Zack now attempted to help one another push the rocks out of the way. One would go under the water and hoist the other up and the other would push as hard as they could agenst the rocks though no matter who went under and who staied up the rocks refused to budg.
"Z-Zack w-we need som-something to prop the rocks in place!" Emily breathed as Zack punched the rocks in anger.
"Damn It!" Zack cursed as he knew the waters constant rising was leaving them little breathing room. " Emily I-I'm sorry!" He stated now worried about their deaths rather than their escape."Im so sorry Emily, I should of just staied back hime with Gramm and Pop!" He said his voice quivering slightly.
"Zack what are you saying!?" Emily asked glaring at her brother. "If you hadn't crossed the dunes with me and reached the ocean with me I wouldn't even be here!" She stated as she tried to push the rocks herself but only managed to dunk herself into the water.
"Thats what I'm saying you wouldn'y be here now, You woul-" Zack had gotten cut off.
"I would be dead in the desart some place, I would had died alone without anyone to ease my suffering!" She blurted and cholked on some water. Zack pulled his sister close to him and the two embraced tightly in the water. As their heads bumped agenst the celing of the chamber the two strived to keep their faces above the water for air, though it was becoming increasingly difficult.
"E-Em I love you!" Zack stated as he reached out and grasped Emilys hand. The girl grasped her brother hand tightly as water insisted to get in her way of gathering air.
"I-I Lo-Love Yo-You too!" Emily managed before taking a deep breth and watching as water filled the entire chamber. Both Emily and Zack allowed themselfs to sink a little. Zack managed to glance about still searching for a way out. Emily on the other hand cholked on water that had gotten into her lungs as she took her last breath. The girl couldent help but cough whil under the water and release all of her air then suck in more water. Zack had seen it happen and was quick to help his sister without thinking he pressed his mouth to her and forced all of his air into her. the girl managed but her brother was at a loss. He had taken in too much water and wasnt going to make it. Emily held fast to Zack as he slowly slipped away into unconciousness, his limp body dragging the poor girl to the bottom.
She was running out of air and time, Emily could feel her lungs burn for air but she couldnt breath. fear gripped her as she attempted to bring zack back to the top of the chamber hopeing and praying that perhaps their was air for them to breath. But her strength was failing, nothing was working correctly. as the two sank back to the bottom emilys mine flwe with thoughts. She thought about how Mirabella would react to hers and Zacks death, She thought of what illumina would say. She thought about the black dragon Onyx and his reaction and then her thoughts lingered on Malone. The young man was the only boy to ever get close to her like he did. he was the only one to ever show any intrest in her other than for a beating. Thinking of malone caused her heart to ache and pratically break, though her heart did break as she thought of sam. The Little fox was hers, he was her protector and he was missing his chance to protect. a whimper escaped Emily as these thoughts and faces flshed in her mind.....and then...... everything.........was........ gone................................black......... .................................................. .................................................. ..........................................

Sam suddenly felt strange as if something other than memories were missing. A shok had ran through his entire body and then pain gripped at his heart. Something was happening to.....to...to Emily! The boy shot straght to his feet and looked around.
"N-No t-this cant ha-happen!" he stated his hands beginning to shake then his whole body began to tremble terribly. "Sh-Shes not spose to die, No No no no no no what have I done I'm sooo stupid!" he cried now, tears rolled from his eyes and fell down the sides of his cheeks then to the floor. "Why why did it have to happen!? Why is Emiily gone!" he cried still trembling as his knees gave in and he fell to the floor beginning to ball and question what was happening. A long whail erupted from the boy as he now became angry with himself. through his anger he gripped at his hair and pulled rughly at the hand fulls. "Why my Emily, Why did she go away!?" he questioned no one in particular even though Fade was their to answer.

"Hmm?" Tali asked before blurting out. "Oh! Yeah, that's not a problem for me." She emphasized her point by reaching her hands into the flames, only to pull them out a second later with a "Ta-da!" They were perfectly unscathed; not even a piece of soot stained them. "I'll go check it out on the other side, and move the flames if the coast is clear," she said, stepping through the flames, and into another world. The tunnel was lined with bright, lustrous, orange crystals that seemed to react to her presence, pulsing in time with the rhythm of her heart.

"Mr. Dragon! You've got to see this!" she exclaimed as she extinguished the wall of flames. She was so excited in fact, that she failed to feel the slight easing of pressure on her bladder, nor the dampness that appeared between her legs, and the subsequent wet spot on her trousers, going down the front and sides of the legs, as well as soaking the region where the pants split into legs.

Fade brushed away her own tears and hugged Sam tightly."Ssshhhh,she could still be alive ,just unconscious.Don't panic,if you do you won't be able to help her.Take a deep breath and..."She pulled out her stone and silently asked Leif to tell her what a Guide did when his charge lost consciousness."Focus on your stone,Emily will be there.And if that doesn't work..I have other ways of finding her."It would exhaust Fade,she had no idea what would happen once she reached her limit.It didn't really matter when she was faced with Sam's anguish.She kissed him lightly on the cheek before,with an arm still around him, closing her eyes and sending out her mind in a tendrils,to find where everyone was in the tunnels.That boy and Jason where on the other side of the huge labyrinth,the princess was nearly right beside them.Dragons where clustered close together in the middle with another.Then she found them,water filled the place!Shuddering Fade did what she had to do.With a rumble a crack appeared in the bottom of the place,letting the water drain away quickly.Up above she managed to shift the rocks to create and opening.Opening her eyes while l,osing consciousness slowly she told Sam what she could."They're up ahead a ways,outside .You'll find a huge hole with boulders scattered around it...She's down there. "Fade closed her eyes,and wasn't sure whether she was ever going to open them again.

Onyx snorted when he smelt the urine ,but said nothing.Instead he ambled cautiously into the glowing tunnel.What a sight to behold for a dragon!What a wonderful place to create a hoard.He was captivated,caught completely.Onyx was beginning to forget why he was trying so hard to get out of the cave.Instead he just wanted to lay down and look at the beautiful sparkling stones.That's precisely what he did."Why move,this place is perfect!If only I could find some gold,and more stones...This would be the perfect hoard after that.."He trailed off dreamily,now completely forgetting his mission.The dragon's tail captured Tali,trapping her beneath it's weight.Now they where both captives of the room,but in different ways.

When the dragon's tail pushed Tali to the ground, she became aware of her accident. Embarrassment flooded her tiny body, and she hoped that the dragon wouldn't laugh at her or tell the others. Plus, it was starting to dry, which wasn't comfortable. It was a lot like diaper rash; itchy, painful, and unbearable. The stones seemed to resonate with her emotions, turning to a soft rosy red. Shortly afterwards, the dragon moved its tail on top of her, completely preventing her from moving, as well as limiting her breathing. Fright began filling her frail body, the stones changing to a bright red in response. She couldn't breathe, nor could she get into a position to push the dragon's tail off of her. Her phoenix strength was incredible, but it meant nothing if she couldn't use it. "W-what a-about Malone!?" she gasped out as her mind processed the dragon's words. "D-don't we need to find him!?" Tali's panic peaked when her vision began dimming, and, without a second thought, she rose her body heat to over two thousand degrees, hoping to burn the dragon and get his massive tail off her tiny frame.

Sam sobed into Fade as she had hugged him and spoke trying to calm his nerves. He did calm a little now but tears still streamed down his face with no end. He noticed that she used her powers again and this made him pull away from her. She was already weak and now she was going to be worse off. "M-miss. Irian!" he exclaimed as she told him where to finde Emily. "Your stupid! You shouldent have done that, your stupid Stupid!" He stated gripping the women as she fell into unconciousness. Not wanting to leave the women Sam positioned himself so that he could lift her onto his back once again. He managed well enough to hoist her in the position she was in though it was a little hard to run, and thats what he wanted to do the most. "Please just hang on emily, I'm comming!" Sam muttered as he ran for the exit to the place he was once trapped. His eyes filled with the ditermination of his forgotten self.

Emily had felt a rumble in the ground, though everything was still black and she couldent breath. She could also feel the water being sucked away by something. It was strange though nomatter how fast the water seemed to woosh past her it never went away. opening her eyes emily could see very clearly a larg crack in the floor that sucked the water awy from the room, but she also could see that the pedistul was spewing water into the room just as fas if not faster than the crack was taking it away. Somthing boiled inside of her now, anger and desperation mized into one as she now wanted to leave this room and get someplace safe with Zack and everyone else. In a fit of rage the girl helt out a bubbled scream and imagined the pedistil smashed to bits along with any airea that would allow the water to go away and hers and zacks safe exit.
As a resuly emily caused an explotion in the chamber,the entrance had been blown into little bits by her fire, and the ground above them bubbled up before blasting open making the small hole that was once their much larger now. Rocks flew through the air and if any wanted to land near or on top of emily or zack they were turned to just before they even had a chance. water still spewed from the place where the pedistul had been, but it had no where to pool and drownd the siblings. As she realized she was safe from water emily took a deep breth but wound up couhing up the water that had lodged itself in her throught and lungs.

Sam Stopped short as he exited the cave and looked around. It seemed something inside both he and Emily was sturring. Carfully sam hoisted fade further up his back and bent low. With one burst he sprang forward and fallowed the feeling of Emilys ditermination. Without warning though a huge explotion caused the ground, he was heading for, to explode into the sky and make the surroudning aireas tremble with its power. Emilys diturmination faded but life was in her now and excitment welt up inside the fox.
"yyyyyYYYYEEEEEAAAHHHHH!" He shouted and jummped up and down still holding fade ofcourse.

Jolted to and fro by Sam's excited jumping,Fade wasn't able to stay unconscious for long."STOP IT!"screamed to woman irritably.She had the worst headache she'd ever had in her life.and Sam's screaming didn't help.For some reason Fade's strength had returned.Then she remembered how one's Guide could give one a renewed sense of strength. Silently Irian thanked Leif for this unexpected reserve of energy."I take it Emily is alright."Jealousy exuded from her voice,and she proceeded to hold on as best she could.There was no way Irian was letting Samuel go after so long spent pining away after him.She kissed him lightly beneath his ear,and said."Hopefully thoughts of her won't make you forget me."

Heat and warmth ran up and down the dragon's tail.It was welcome in such a place with so many brightly shining crystals on the walls.It reminded him of his volcanic home.Purring as well as a dragon could,Onyx shifted his weight and settled himself more comfortably.He felt something odd under his tail and lifted it to see what kind of nuisance was there.Smoke wafted out of his nostrils as he spoke."Who is this Malone?"As he spoke the name a vague feelign of familiarity wafted trough his mind."More importantly why do you disturb me?Well little one,tell me!I'll not tolerate your presence for very long in my domain."

"H-He's the guy who stole all your gold," Tali lied, inhaling deeply. "And all your precious stones. I saw him run off that way, and thought it best to tell you. I'm sorry to have disturbed you, but I figured it was my duty to help you get back what was stolen." Inside, she was roiling with anger. How on earth could the behemoth be so dense! And rude! It was simply irrational. The only thing that Tali thought could be the cause was the stones, which seemed linked to her in some way, especially her emotions. As of now, they were a dark, impenetrable black, a clear reflection of her anger. They gradually shifted back into their natural orange color when she managed to calm down.

"Come on! Let's get your hoard back!" she said enthusiastically as she attempted to push the large, scaly dragon further into the tunnel, desperately trying to ignore the diaper rash she was developing as the urine on her legs and pants dried.

Jason started to shake as he saw the little girl and a young teen boy walked from around the corner and started playing. It was Mirabella when she was 4 or 5 and Jason when he was 15 or 16, young Mirabella was giggling and laughing as young Jason smiled happily watching the little princess run around. Jason looked down refusing to continue to watch the events that unfolded in front of him He remembered this day, it was the day that he became Princess Mirabella's guardian when she explored outside the castle. Jason closed his eyes and hoped that this memory would go away.

Mirabella started to shake as the giant spider started to crawl to her. Backing away slowly as it got closer, Mirabella was on the verge of running until it attacked her. She screamed and her turn glowed brightly and changed to its true color, from a bright purple to a pure white and created a barrier around her. Her hands glowed white and black launching a beam of both light and dark at the spider's head nearly making the cave they were in collapse. Mirabella looked at the spider as it squealed in pain and continued attacking her and she attacked back as fear started to crawl throughout her body.

Illumina and Talos walked on and saw with their own two eyes their past selves as little kids playing with a ball that looked like a little planet. Illumina's eyes widen looking at the sight of this, "This is a trick, who dares cast a spell on the dragons of Light and Dark?!" he snarled as his teeth sharpened as he watched the young Illumina and Talos toss the ball to each other. "This must be a mistake, Th-this must be a test or something but what is this about and where is Princess Mirabella?" Illumina asked starting to panic as worry started to take over her. "Calm down Lumi, I'll get you out of here soon. But still, we must find out what is going on here." Talos stated looking at his sister then slowly turned to face the playing young twins.

Malone held on tightly as Jason halted suddenly.Then unexpectedly he saw his mother,sitting there singing the lullaby just like she used to do before she disappeared.It had been a few years ago,she'd been lost at sea.The memories welled up confusing the young man.He wasn't sure where he was,what he was doing.All he wanted to do was stay there to watch and listen until the end of time.

With a menacing roar Onyx grabbed Tali and plopped her down in front of him."Show me the way!Tell me where this thief is!He will pay,and you shall be rewarded for aiding me in finding my property."The dragon pushed to little Wisp up ,prodding her with a clawed foot."Well?"said the angry and impatient Onyx as he watched her with suspicious eyes.

Tali couldn't help but yelp when the dragon picked her up like a doll and placed her in front, nudging her to take the lead. "Th-This way!" she shouted, trying to sound confident, though the dragon did scare her. Subconsciously, and with no idea as to what she was doing, Tali began manipulating the dragon's emotions, calming them down as she walked along the hall of beautiful, color changing crystals that reacted with her emotional state.

After a while of walking through the same tunnel that never differed in appearance, Tali was exhausted. She had been walking at a slow jog for over fifteen minutes now, and couldn't take it anymore. Plus, her legs were itchy and stinging due to her now-developed case of slight diaper rash. Another accident would be awful. She already smelled like urine and was suffering from diaper rash, both of which would probably make her new friends laugh at her and leave her on the island. A second accident would just make those problems worse. Suddenly, she stumbled, collapsing to the ground with no resistance. Upon impact, she managed to scrape her hands, which she had vainly tried to use to catch herself, breaking skin and causing them to bleed. Tears sprang to her eyes at the additional stinging. It was just too much. She crawled over to the wall, sat up, hugged her knees, and cried into her arms. The change in the stones, which had gradually been turning to gray as she became more and more tired, immediately turned to a deep blue, fully expressing the measure of her emotional state.

Sam stopped jumping immediately when fade shouted for him to. He looked back at the women and could tell she wasn't in the best of moods or feeling well. Though his thoughts of how well she felt were never confirmed.he listened to fade as she talked about Emily being ok and forgetting her. Carefully Sam adjusted fade's position on his back and looked down at Emily and Zack. The girl was trying to breath life back into her brother as well as pound the water from him.
"Miss. Irain.....are you Jealous of Emily!?" He asked still watching Emily try and save Zack. The boy finally coughed up the water that blocked his air ways and breathed with life. "Are you jealous because I didn't act so excitedly when I seen you as I did when I seen Emily!?" he asked and glanced back at Fade his eyes the way she would remember them, Determined, slightly hurt, and full of want and knowledge.

Emily had heard Sam hooping and hollering up above and spared only a second to look at him. He attenuation had been drawn to Zack as he hadn't moved since she had managed to heave herself up. In a hurried motion she attempted to bring her brother back the way her father did a long time ago. It was a rather crude process but it worked eventually and Zack was gasping for air and coughing roughly as Emily flung herself onto him and cried.

Irian's anger filled eyes looked at Sam's as she let go of him.She grabbed his shoulder ,turning him so he faced her."I've always been jealous!Think about it,ever since the day we first met,I was only the woman who healed your wounds.One year you decided to wrangle a date out of every woman around your age,for some reason you overlooked me!It's like I wasn't even good enough for you to flirt with !My jealousy isn't directly against Emily you see,it's more of a general thing and has been in my heart ever since you captured it unknowingly."Fading anger left loneliness in her heart,as Irian remembered those days and saw events repeating themselves in a pattern that never seemed like it would end.

Onyx picked the girl up gently and placed her on his back.Even angry as he was ,even with a mind hazed by the lust for treasure,the dragon felt horrible.It reminded him of someone else.Of feeling's he'd forgotten,the need to protect others at all costs,especially Malone.The image of the amber eyed young man appeared in the dragon's thoughts accompanied with an unbearable urge to find him."Little one,I apologize.Thankfully this brought about a something good.Come we must find Malone and the others."Quickly he went to crash trough the crystals,but instead Onyx found himself and his tiny companion to be in a grand hall.Ruby stones winked from strategic places on the walls and fires glowed within every pillar.It seemed like they had passed their tests.

Sam looked at Fade blankly, he guessed she was talking about his past but he had no idea about it. "Im sorry for whatever pain i put you through, But i don't have any idea of what my feelings use to be!" Sam stated sternly and took a small step back from fade. "I do know my feelings now, and they are ones that push me to keep Emily safe from anyone, everything, and anything!" he added taking another step back and freeing himsefl from Fade's grip but also stepping into the giant hole emily had made. A comical look appeard on sams face as he fell backwards and started to tumble down into the airea emily and zack were in. Once he slid to a hult, now covered in mud, he sprang to his feet and brushed himself off a little. "Im ok...I-im ok... Dirty and- Beh- Wet now. But ok!" he said a little shakily.

Irian watched in horror as Sam fell.She looked down and saw that he appeared to be alright...but she didn't trust assumptions.Quickly she grabbed her stone and demanded Leif come out.The grey wolf appeared before his mistress and looked at her questioningly.Get me down there!,was Irian's angry thought.After a long hiatus from healing,it seemed like she would need to care for not one,but three people.

When Leif saw the young blond bellow,he recognized him immediately.As Fade jumped smoothly onto his back,he purposefully made his paws slip,making a slew of boulders fall into the hole.He jumped in right after them.It had to seem like an accident,otherwise Fade would hate him for trying to harm Samuel.

Sam was about to go and make sure emily and Zack were fine, might as well while he was down their. But his luck want so great as he took a step towards the two a flury of bolders came his way. With a childish scream the boy ran from them like a chicken with his head cut off. The first bolder managed to miss him, then the second, third and forth. Though the fifth came dangerously close to hitting him, the little boy managed to back flip on top of the large rock and then jump on top of others. At some point the boy made it to the ground and thought he was safe from danger.
"WHO IS THROWING ROCKS AT MEEEEE"! he screamed thrusting two fists to his sides. Though the danger haden't gone, one large bolder cam crashing down on the boys head causing him to yelp in pain. THe rock staied on his head for a moment before cracking and then crumbling to pices all around the boy.
"Owey!" Sam whined as he sank to his knees. "Check please!" Sam muttered before falling face first into a pile of rocks and passing out.

Emily watched as bolders fell down the weak embankment at the boyish fox. A gasp escaped both she and Zack as they watched him avoid a whole slury of rocks, all but one of course. The one that managed to hit sam didnt stand up to the foxes head but the fox didnt quite stand up to the rock eaither. the boy fell to the ground and emily went to her feet. "Ah- S-SAMM!!"

The moment Leif set foot on solid enough ground,Fade was off him and running towards Sam.Roughly she pushed Emily out of the way."Let me heal him!I'll take care of you after."With that Fade set to work,draining energy from Leif mercilessly as she healed the fox's overly though head.Her hands where on his head ,and small tears welled up in her eyes as she remembered the last time such a situation had arisen.She'd nearly lost him that time ,Irian hoped that wouldn't be the case again.The black haired woman didn't know if she could go trough that again without going completely insane.

Leif watched silently,he'd completely forgotten what had happened before.Now he regretted his hasty decision for the hurt it caused Irian.

Emily stumbled back a little before being caught by zack. The man was a little warn out but seemed fine enough.
"Ah, P-Please just make sure sam is ok, Hes... well hes my friend and i dont want him to be hurt!" emily said as she watche dthe strange women work at healing sams little head.
Zack on the other hand concentrated on the surroundings. He had noticed that the chamber they were once trapped in was now blown open and the sky was above. The man took a deep breth but stopped short as a pain resonated in his lungs and throught causing him to bend a little and cough hard. He waved his sister off who wanted to make sure he wasnt going to keel over and die. "im ok Emily. Just dry lungs en such!" he stated as he stood straght and now began to examin the women and her wolf.

It wasnt long before sam finally opened his eyes and looked around. Once he did all he could see was two extreamly beautiful women hovering over him and wolf and man. A glar came across his face as he looked up at all of them and sprang to his feet. "AIR I NEED AIR!" He shreaked pointing at all of them and waving them away. Though the sudden movement caused the boy to sink back to the ground. "Oh wow my head!" he stated holding his temples and breathing heavly. "Man Who hit me" he moaned still holding his head. Looking up the boy smiled as his eyes fell on Emily. "Im glad your ok Miss. Emily. I was really worried about you!" he stated and watched as relaaf fluded the girls face. " thanks for the help Irian, Its been a long time hasent it!?" he asked an now stood up slowly to avoid making himself hurt. "Ahh im a kid, when did i do that!?" sam asked no one in particular. "Im Fixing this!" he stated and began to change his apperence to that of a much older man with clothing to accompany the look. "thats much better!" he stated placing both hands on his hips.

"Ah...Im so glad your ok!" Emily managed to cry as she ran and enbraced sam in his new form. The fox man was deffinatly surprised but happy to be hugged by the girl. He did hug her back and placed his cheek on the top of her head.
"What, did you think i was going to leave you Miss. Emily!?" sam asked as he heard the girl sobbing into his chest. "I would never leave you, your my Mistress and I'm your protector!" he said with a kind smile playing on his face.

Relief and a renewed sense of rage flowed trough Irian,she took a deep breath.Trough clenched teeth she said,"Yes ,it has been quite a long time."After that she went to examine the other man ,whom she thought was called Zack.Placing her hands on his head,she quickly checked him for injuries with her magical senses.Finding a few things ,she healed them with ease .Then she briskly walked to Leif."Come on,let's leave."mumbled Fade after looking back sadly.Irian was already on the wolf's back,but for some reason he refused to budge.This was quite unlike Leif and it had Irian wondering if he'd been hurt during the rockfall.So she got off to check him also,finding nothing wrong she clambered onto his back again and waited for him to find a way out of the hole.

Leif hated the man,but he knew Irian would be miserable without him.She didn't seem to be able to get used to the idea that his priorities where focused on his charge.So he would make her wait until Samuel came to his senses,and if the fox didn't Leif would make him.

Sam looked up at the women as she seemed to be upset with him a frown apperd on his face as he watched her heal zack and go to her wolf. The man pulled away from emily, patted her head and took to long strides towards fade after wich he grabbed her wrist and pulled her from the wolf.
"What is your problem Irian!?" he asked with a small glar. "What did you fall in love with finally!?" he asked with a little snort. "Im sorry you dont like Emily, but that doesnt give you the right to act this way!" he stated a low grawl forming in his throught as he spoke. "What happened!? you use to be soo god damn cute now you changed your apperence to something extreamly beautiful and you changed your attitude to something extreamly ugly!" he stated not letting go of the women.

zack was extreamly surprised when the women had gotten close to him and then used her powers to heal him. It was something he wasnt expecting. Though he was greatful. Afterwords Zack went and hugged his sister who still seemed upset over samsn near death encounter. He hushed the girl and listened to the new older sam talk to the women.

Tali felt the massive dragon pick her up and place her on its back, but she was too tired to care. "Don't... worry... about it," she mumbled in response to his apology. She managed to stay awake long enough to see the hall of sparkling rubies. They were beautiful, but they didn't seem to possess the same... spiritual quality that the other ones did. Involuntarily, she found herself drifting off to sleep, and, as much as she tried to resist it, she passed off into the world of dreams.

She drifted in a sea of black. Nothing was decipherable, nor distinguishable. Then, a light appeared out of the darkness, shining forth like the sun. "Tali," it called softly, sounding a lot like an angel, or what an angel should sound like.

"Who's there!?" Tali responded, spinning around quickly to keep from being caught by surprise.

"I am the Voice of Spirit," the being responded. Her features were cast in a light that was just as good as the darkness at hiding something. "I have come to tell you that you are to take the Stone of Spirit and be its bearer, helping to restore balance to the worlds."

"What?" Tali questioned, full of disbelief. "I grew up on an island by myself; I have no idea how to live in society! How on Earth am I supposed to be a bearer or whatever?"

"You survived on a hostile island by yourself, didn't you? That shows an indomitable spirit," the Voice countered. "Spirit is the opposite of Ether. It defeats it, yet gets defeated by it. Spirit, consisting of all the energy and spiritual elements, counteracts Ether, which is made up of all the physical elements. You are the Balancer and Protector of Emotion and Spiritual Energy, much like Malone is the Balancer and Protector of Physicality and Body."

"I get it! I hit my head, or I'm suffering from some hallucination brought on by exhaustion, right?" Tali said, trying to puzzle out where this whacked up dream came from.

"No! You aren't!" the being responded angrily, losing its patience. "Malone already has his Stone. You have to get yours soon. Make it your mission. The others can help. I must go now, but I will see you soon." With that, the being vanished and Tali felt a push.

Tali woke from the dream on the back of the dragon, too groggy to understand where they were.

Green eyes wide ,Fade didn't even struggle when he grabbed her."You're just so dense!I already told you I have nothing against her!I was leaving because you obviously don't need me anymore...How could you question my love for you,when I've sacrificed so much just to see you alive!If I hadn't made that bargain to get power the FIRST time a temple collapsed on you,you'd be dead!Then ,of course,you lost your memories,but it's not like you'd ever have wanted me with them!As for my ugly soul,think about it...I've watched everyone I love die,watched them destroyed because of the elemental imbalance that I caused, those where the terms of the contract.Power and an extended life span, plus your safety,in exchange for unbalancing the world."Tears flowed freely down Fade's face as she realized that she'd just told him everything.She was the reason why the world was such a mess,and she'd done it all so she could save the one person who seemed like he'd never return her feelings."And all I get from you is 'Thanks,it's been a while.' That's it!Just that!"The woman started sobbing uncontrollably for the second time that day,completely overwhelmed and she couldn't even hide her face.All those horrible things Irian had done had been on the small hope that someday Samuel could return her feelings,but now she was sure to have ruined whatever slim chances she might have had.

Onyx shifted to keep Tali on his back as he settled down.The poor thing was exhausted and in truth so was he.Closing his eyes the dragon fell into a deep restorative sleep.Unlike Talos and Illumina he had no restrictions on such a natural part of life.He dreamed of Malone and his troubles,of his charge and the want to find his mother.The boy was incapable of letting go,and that was why this was his test.The dragon sent him a strong thought,reminding him of his duty.He needed to keep the others safe at all costs,and this was very counter productive.

Sam loosened his grip on the women as she spilled everything to him. He wasn't expecting it, he could hardly believe that the only person he allowed near him so long ago was the cause of so much disorder in this world. The man took a small step back as she continued and then began crying. His heart felt like it had broke into two pieces. one for Emily and one for Irian. this women was someone he thought he could trust. It turned out he could still trust her but because of his foolishness she had done terrible things. All because he was so stupid and couldn't see the way she just ignored his flirting and went along with his wily ways. The man now stepped back to Fade and embraced her tightly in his arms. he had nothing to say and it hurt him ever so much to see the women in tears. He had never made this women cry before...well to his knowledge that is, and now she was crying, tears falling like waterfalls down her face. The man couldn't stand it and he squeezed fade tighter as she continued to cry.
"Please don't, Please don't do that anymore"Sam muttered as he tightened his grip on fade!
