Turning her head Chenol looked to the man named Zack and gave him a soft smile. "Yes I think I am. I've been waiting a long time for you all to come. It's been quite boring here with just Raja and myself. Oh! Sorry! I'm Chenol and this is Raja. It's a pleasure to meet you." She gave him a little bow of her head making her hair swing forward. When it settled back her pointed ears were showing. She looked over to his sister with interest. She had seen the girl jump off the boulder and run to the Malone guy. Chenol could tell by his stiffness that Zack didn't like his sister running over to the other man.

Zack smiled kindely at the women, she was indeed both beautiful and friendlly. He hoped she would join them on their journies. "I'm gald you ar going to join us!" he said his smile widening a little "Perhaps I wont be the only adult in the grupe of humans!" He said with a small laugh. His laught was cut short when he noticed the elvin ears, this made a knot form in the mans stomach as their was no way this women was actually the age she appered. She was probably thousands of years old and seen Zack as a tot compaired to her. With these thoughts zack couldn't help but hang his head a little.((short:()

Chenol was smiling brightly along with Zack. "Everyone here does look younger!" She laughed then stopped when she noticed his laugh was cut off short and his smile faded. Frowning she looked at him intently as he hung his head. "Is there something wrong Zack?" She didn't know what had suddenly happened. Everything had been fine. Did I say something wrong? she thought to herself. Near her Raja sat down, her massive legs folding under her body. Now her head was at Chenol's height, she rubbed her head on her shoulder and nipped her with her beak. Raising her hand up Chenol petted the side of her guardians face.

Malone fell to the ground,surprised by the unexpected hug.Uncontrollable laughter bubbled out of him when he saw it was Emily.Grinning ,Malone hugged her tightly."I'm happy to see you too!I hope you didn't get into too much trouble without me."
The young man pulled away a little to smile at her with his feelings clearly in his eyes,even if he hadn't spoken them yet.He wasn't quite sure if the time was right to confess his love...Malone decided to wait until thy where alone,which would take some time he was sure.Glancing around the room and seeing all these people...He realized they where his family too.

Onyx roared outraged!Danger,Illumina was in danger! Just like that he was in a cave blocking Talos's way.Quickly he tackled the other dragon to the ground and pinned him there."Enough games!If you try harming Illumina again,I will kill you!."

Belden sighed."If only that where possible ...I think you would not like this place very much,no you need to be outside in the light.You cannot abandon your duties as a Bearer,that is why this world is in such a mess you know.."When those words where pronounced the two disappeared from the cavern to re-appear in the strange boulder filled hall with it's narwhal shaped columns that glowed with a strange inner fire.A shadow slipped from behind one of them.It was a woman with blue hair and great green eyes dressed completely in white,from the headband on her head to the shoes on her feet."I am here to relieve you of your duties Belden Savere,go with her."And with that the woman was gone.

A smile grew on Fade's face with each kiss until she was grinning with all her might.Turning her head slightly the last time,she caught Sam's lips on hers."I believe you!Horrible memory..That is the most horrible joke,so why do I find it funny?"Irian actually giggled a bit after that,while looking at the elven woman and her gryphon with curiosity.She didn't even notice when Mirabella and a strange pale young man appeared across the hall.

Zack looked up at the elvin woman as she noticed his silent dispair at how old she could possibly be. Blushing a little he tried to from words but only managed babble. "I-um well- no I- man- can't- you- cute- that is -Umm- I'm Sorry!" he managed his blush deepening at how fumbly ha had been for words. "I'm Zack and thats my sister Emily!" he re stated trying to divert attenchion from himself as he was clearly having trouble speaking to the woman before him.

Emily smiled happily as she heard laughter comming from Malone. When he pulled away to look at her the girl could only smile wider and sit back on her knees. "I didn't get into too much trouble!" She said with a small laugh. "Just scraped up my knees, made a giant lizard mad, fell in a hole, almost dround and discovered a new power!"She explained acting as if it were a normal day. "You know the usual!" she added furthering the idea that their new adventures were going to be haserdous. "I prey you didn't cause any trouble while I was gone!" the girl said with a small giggle.

Sam just laughed at what Irian had to say about his joke. He knew it was horrible but it made her smile and thats all that mattered. "You laugh because its true!" he said and nusseled Irians face with his nose befor leading her to where Onyx was. The dragon had made a quick and noisy exit but that didnt matter much. Sam was sure he would call for help if he needed and the fox was ready to pounce if called upon.
"Irian you alread have seen Zack and Emily, Their siblings and are quite a handful!" Sam stated as he began pointing people out. "The dragon who just left was Onyx he is Malones protector, and Malone is over their with Emily and a newer friend of ours, I didn't qute ceatch the little ones name but I'm sure she I'll learn it soon." He explained and looked about the hall trying to see if anyone new came in. Thats when his eyes landed on Mirabella. "OH, Over their is Mirabella and a newcommer...hnmmmmmm" Sam made the thoughtful noise as he began to try and size up the new boy with mirabella. "Please forgive me, but I must see if I can trust him with or dear princess....Slap some sence into Zack he seems fairly infatuated with that lovely elvin women!" Sam instructed as he shifted into his new true fox from and bounded towards Mirabella and her new friend.

A smile started to from of Chenol's face as Zack starting rambling. She caught everything he said, well tried to say. The man was nervous, she could tell by how he introduced himself and his sister again. She giggled putting her hand up to her mouth. "Thank you for the compliment Zack. You are very good looking yourself. Please tell me what has got you fumbling all over your words?" She really was wondering what had gotten him like that. Things were going so smoothly until, her ears! She had seen him spot her ears. Thinking hard for a second about what they had been talking about at the time she had an inkling about what it could be. "How old are you Zack?" She smiled at him lightly.

Zack did all he could to keep from stumbling over his own words as he came up with a reply. Though every thing he thought about to try and explain himself would come out in the wrong way. He thought he would say he was dissapointed that she was older than him, But that would make the women mad at him because all women didnt like being called old. Then he thought he might complemnt her beauty, but then again that might come off as being too strong and he would be slapped for his forwardness. Then it was back to her age, and then to her apperence and this banter went on and on in his head as he staired somewhat blankly at the woman.
"How old are you Zack?" As all he needed to here to suddenly blurt his age out.
"Im Twenty five!" He nearly shouted before clearing his throught and blushing. "Sorry, I-Im tewnty-five" he said a little calmer this time.

Emily turned her attenchion to her brother as she herd him shout his age for all the wold to hear. A smile spred accross her face as she recgonized the distress in his face. "Ooooooo big bad Zackery is In L-O-V-E LLLLOOOOVVVEEEEE!!!" Emily stated spelling the word before strching it out to make Zack more enbarrased.

Sam only stopped in mid step to look over his shoulder at zack, then shak his large head and move on. When sam was in fox form his back would have reached Zacks hip while the tips of his ears pointed up to just under the mand chin. Over all the cream and red colored , three tailed fox was a rather intimidtating thing to behold, and Sam liked it that way! With steady steps the fox made his way to Mirabella and the boy she was with. Once close enough he gave a bark to ceatch their attenchion.
"Mirabella I'm so glad your safe!" he stated a foxy smile appering on his featurs. Then without warning the fox jummped forward and began running towards them. Of course this was ment to scar the boy a little, but he changed forms to his 15 year old human boy from just in enough time to skid accross the floor and grabb Mirabella in a tight hug. "Ahhhh I was worried about you Princess Mirabella!" The Fox stated as he rubbed his face agenst Mirabellas and squeezed her tightly around the shoulders. It was clear the fox was warming up to flirting with the girl and the worse was yet to come.

Illumina turned around and saw Onyx pinning Talos on the ground threatening to kill him if he tried to kill her again. She jumped a little seeing Onyx very angry, "Get off me, you swine! I won't hurt her unless you get off!" Talos yelled as he growled angerily at him and his eyes started to glow red. This was all Talos needed to know and he was happy with the results. Illumina walked up to Onyx and gently place a hand on his shoulder, "O-Onyx, pl-please calm down, yo-you're starting to scare me." she said shaking a little trying to calm Onyx down.

Mirabella looked at the woman as she vanished and a smile spread across her face, "A miracle has happened at last, you can come with me now Belden. Now I'm happy." she said hugging Belden tightly as the happiness started to sooth her. Suddenly a bark came out and Mirabella turned to see who it was and it was a fox running at them in full speed. Before Mirabella could react, the fox turned into a human and engulfed in a hug, the voice was the only thing Mirabella could get out on who it was, "Oh Sam, hello to you too. I missed you as well." Mirabella struggled to get out of her mouth before the hug got a little too tight. "S-Sam, ma-may you pl-please loosen yo-your grip. Yo-you're crushing my ribcage." she said in a strained voice as she felt Sam's human face rub against hers while trying to wiggle her way out of the over excited fox boy's hug.

Jason watched Onyx run to Talos and pinned him to the floor threatening to kill him if he tried to hurt her again. Jason knew Talos would never hurt Illumina even though he and Talos were under the contract. JAson walked to Onyx, Talos and Illumina and shook his head, "Can you not fight every ten minutes. It's starting to drive me crazy." he said folding his arms as he widen his eyes when he heard Sam say MIrabella's name. He walked towards them only to see that their was another boy standing next Mirabella and an overexcited Sam. "Who the hell is that?" he asked himself as he started to growl in an unnatural way.

Chenol watched Zack's face as he considered what to say. She saw a bunch of thoughts cross his mind in a whirl. She could tell that he was trying hard to figure out what to say and it made her duck her head in a smile. Looking back up when blurted his age out she giggled slightly. Then when his sister yelled out that he was in love she giggled a little bit more hiding it with her hand. She looked back to Zack a smile shining in her eyes. Dropping her hand from her mouth she showed him her bright smile. "Only two years older than I am!" She said enthusiastically. Then she turned to his sister Emily and gave her a small smile. "Hello I'm Chenol." From where Raja was sitting she bowed her head to the younger girl. "I'm Chenol's guardian Raja."

Malone laughed loudly at Emily's teasing of Zack.This sibling give and take was so nice to see...Malone missed it,ever since his brother had gone to search for their mother out at sea.Malone shook his head,this wasn't the time to think of that.

Irian was going to go and speak with Zack,but he seemed to be getting along wo well with the elven woman.Then she turned her head.Fade growled low in her throat when she saw the way Sam was acting with Mirabella.Stiffly she stamped over.Quietly she removed the blocks she'd put on the girl's mind before.In such a way that her memories would return slowly now,but surely.Then she grabbed Sam by the back of his neck to get his attention."Have you already forgotten what I said earlier?"

Belden didn't flinch when he saw a huge fox running towards them,but an angry glare formed itself on his face when said fox turned into a teenager who just wouldn't leave Mirabella alone."Enough!Can't you see Mira wants you to stop?"Belden's knuckles where white,he'd never once wanted to punch anyone before..But he wanted to more then anything else right then.Before he could a green eyed woman walked over and spoke with the intruder.

Onyx shifted his bulky dragon's body away from Talos .He turned his dark scaly head to Illumina."I didn't mean to scare you,it was your brother I wanted to terrify."

Mirabella took a deep breathe then looked at the strange woman who grabbed Sam on the the back of his neck, 'She looks so familiar, I've seen her before...somewhere.' she thought about it for a while until she turned and looked at Belden, he had angered look on him. "Belden, it's ok please calm down." Mirabella said walking to him and holding him closely, "There's just Sam, he gets a little over excited over somethings; it's nothing to worry about I give you my word." she said calming belden's nerves and hopefully his temper.

Jason's eyes widen, "Fade? what the hell are you doing here?" he asked shocked. Now confusion was everywhere, why were they meeting people who have lived in this cave almost all their life and why is he meeting Fade here, of all places.

Illumina walked closer to him, "I-I don't think anyone can scare Talos. After all, he is the dragon of darkness." she said in a calming voice as she reached her hand out to him. "Please, don't hurt him. Turn into your human form and pretend he doesn't exist, I have to make sure Lady Mirabella is ok, please join me. I wish to enjoy your company." Illumina said with a soft smile on her face putting the sai she had out away at her side, hoping that Onyx would leave Talos alone. Talos looked at them then sneered, "I would listen to her if i were you." he snarled as he stood up and walked over to his master, where he saw Fade and cocked his head in confusion as well.

Sam had loosend his grip on Mirabella just in time to be pulled by the back of his neck by his loevly Irian. makings a noise that matched gagging sam stepped back a little and bent backwards only a little bit in order to look at Irian in the eyes.
"I didnt forget my love!" he said a small frown on his little features. "I just dont like him!" he added pointing to Beldon who was now being calmed by mirabella. "though it seemes my opponion doesnt matter!" He stated while looking at the two teens and seeing they were a rather lovely pair together. Shrugging the fox acrobatically spun out of Irians grip, transformed to his normal man size and encased the women in his arms. "I appologize ahed of time if you ceatch me flirting," Sam stated as he prevented the woman from moveing her arms as he stood behind her. "I have to test the boys of my lady friends some how!" he added and kissed up the womans neck and to her cheek. He smiled widely as he kissed her but had to stop once Talos called out her new name. A low grawl escaped the fox along with a small snarl as he turned to give the other man a wrning look.

Emily smiled widely when she herd Malone laugh with her at Zack. Though her attenchion was now on the elvin woman who introduced herself along with the strange creature. The girl smiled and said hello to the both of them before returning her attenchion to Malone. The man looked fine over all no bumps no bruses, he came out alot better than she. "Im jelous!" Emily stated and playfully pushed malons shoulder. "How is it that you come out of this with now inueries, and i have banged up lags and lungs that still burn for air!?" she asked as she sat back on her bum and pulled her baggy pants up over her knees to show how many bruses and scrapes she had attained from trying to climb down a mountan with Zack. "I finde it unfair!" She said with a small giggle as she poked at alll of her bruses.

ZAck gave his sister a death glar as she said what he had been thinking. He mouthed a warning of wich his sister hadent noticed. But onve he looked back to Chneol all his frustration evaporated and he was back to being a bumbling idiot. Though his face lit up once the woman stated she was only a few years younger than he. Zack couldent help but laugh a little and restrain himself from reaching out and hugging the woman.
No Zack that would be bad! Women dont like it when strange men go around hugging them! He thought and composed himself. Though it would be nice to get close, and touch her.......Shaking his head Zack got rid of his dirty thoughts.
"S-so you mentioned youve been waiting for us!?" Zack said questioning the statment. "How long have you been stuck in here exactly?" He asked trying to keep his mind and eyes off of...well everywhere but Chneol's face.

Tali had a problem: she didn't know who anyone was except for Malone, who was busy talking to one of the other girls who had entered her cave, and Onyx, who was no longer around. Not to mention that her accident from earlier was still visible to anyone who looked. Malone's answer to her question about baths did little to alleviate the confusion of the young girl. Why would you need to get into water of all things to clean yourself. Water was bad in general, but using it to clean yourself was out of the question. Tali would stick to her old method of burning the dirt off of her body to keep clean.

The girl who was currently talking to and hanging out with Malone she assumed to be Emily. She clearly wasn't Mirabella, who had introduced herself to Tali back at her cave. After debating the matter over in her head, she gathered up the courage to walk over and talk to her, wet pants and all. "Uh... Ms. Emily?" she asked, tugging on the larger girl's sleeve like a toddler trying to get its mother's attention. "Could I ask you a few questions? You have to swear not to laugh though, or I won't ask."

Hearing Zack's laugh Chenol couldn't help but smile. He was very cute and when he was nervous even more so. She could guess that he was happy about the fact that she wasn't older than him. When he asked his question she lost her smile and started to frown. Thinking hard she shrugged her shoulders after Raja shook her head at her. "I lost count on how long we were here. It was a long time I know that, the two of us were going to go crazy soon if I hadn't heard you guys." Which was true she had been going crazy of boredom. Chenol was very happy that she had found them all.

Warmth spread in Irian's heart when Sam put his arms around her,and a horrid blush formed on her face when he started kissing her neck and moved up to her cheek.Then Jason saw her ,and Talos too.The dragon had appeared out of nowhere earlier,with the other two of his kind."Hello Jason...Talos."She nodded to each of them in turn.Fade decided to ignore their questions."How are you both?"Turing her head she whispered in Sam's ear."A lot happened during the years I looked for you."

Malone smiled down at Emily."It might have something to do with the fact that this place is called Pyre.Maybe you needed to be tested more then anyone else? All I can say is that I'm glad you're alright.I don't know what I'd have done if something happened to you."The young man bent over and kissed Emily swiftly on the cheek.

Onyx didn't want to slip into his human form,but he did it because Illumina asked it of him.He hung his head,annoyed at his hair."I'll promise nothing about Talos,if he harms you I will retaliate.Why do you like this form so much?It's so confining,we can't fly!"

Sighing ,he let himself be reassured by Mira's words."If you say so."Belden's attention shifted to this woman.Fade...The name was familiar to him,then he remembered where he'd heard it from.His grandfather had told him the story of why testings where required,and had spoken of the woman who caused it all."You destroyed our world!How is it that you managed to survive the century that has passed since then?How did you trick your way into passing the test!"Outrage filled the young man's voice as he stepped in front of Mirabella,fully intending to protect her from this perceived menace.

Emily smiled at malone as he spoke though her face went completly red once the man leaned forward and kissed her cheek. She hadent expected it so it was a total shock, so much so that all the emotions she could ever feel came and hit her like a ton of bricks. Though the wave susided once a small little voice grabbed her attenchion along with some tugging. Looking for the sorce Emily found herself stairing ath the young girl she had been so rugh with back in the cave. A small gasp escaped Emily as she had been wanting to appologize for being so mean.
"Uh... Ms. Emily? Could I ask you a few questions? You have to swear not to laugh though, or I won't ask." the little red haired girl spoke.
"I swear with all my heart not to laugh at your question!" Emily said whole heartedly. She hadent noticed the girls accodent, though if she did she wouldent have made a big deal out of it anyways. Emily had always loved children and all their messes and accodents, though no one ever liked her enough to trust her with their children so Tali would probably be emilys test of motherly love and patience.

Zack as slightly confused about the exchange between Chenol and her gurdian, but he dissmissed it as being something personal. Though when the elf answered his question and explained her near insanity he couldn't help but feel sorry for her.
"It must have been terrible, only haveing echothers company and nothing more." he said thinking about his and emilys long treak accross the desart. "I know the feeling, My sister and i left our village and nearly went insane in the desart reagons." he explained with a small shutter of a memory. "Emily was the first to go insane, She tried killing me with a lizzard." he gave a laugh at how redicouls the two of them had been. "Needless to say we had lizzard for dinner!" he added with a nother laugh.

Sam clung to Irian as she diverted a question and went to make simple conversation with the dragon and his master. The fox wasnt going to take any chances on any of the men around him, as it seemed the boy was angry with his beloved as well. Turning his head and baring a pair of sharp fangs sam gave the boy to his side.
"Stay put and keep those hands to yourself or youll regret ever having them!" Sam stated in a low and forboding tone. He turned his glar and bared teeth to Jason and Talos whom he trusted less than the boy.

Chenol listened intently as Zack talked. What he described was both hilarious and sad at the same time. She started to giggle once more and covered her mouth with her hand. She often did that when she laughed. "She tried to kill you with a lizzard? My that is pretty crazy, I'm gad she didn't succeed." She dropped her hand and gave him a shy smile. "We both have something in common through that!" She liked the man before her. He was cute and very nice.

Jason's eyes widen when he saw what was happening and he knew the outcome of what would happen "RUN!!" he screamed running towards Zack and the others, "What ever you do, don't go over there." Jason warned as he turned and as Talos still standing there then turned away walking slowly away as if nothing was happening.

Illumina watched as Onyx turned into his human form and smiled. She reached and gently took his hand then kissed his cheek, "Because I wouldn't to kiss you if your were so high." she said giggled and then placed her head on his chest, "Plus we don't have to fly all the time." Illumina said looking up at Onyx with a gentle on her face. Illumina was almost lost while with Onyx but heard conmotion in a different part of the cave, she went there and saw Mirabella with a boy and what seemed to be Sam in his grown up form. "Stop, I don't think doing that will be a good..." before she could finish a bright light filled the cave, "Oh no." Illumina whispered as she backed away.

Mirabella smiled as Belden started to calm down but then protected her by getting in front of her and glared at Fade. Sam jumped in front of Fade and bared her teeth at Belden. Mirabella's eyes slowly started to widen as her pupils started to shrink as fear started to go through body again. A memory was being activated and Mirabella started shaking. She placed her hands on the sides of her head and she started to scream, "SHUT UP SHUT UP SHUT UP!!!" Mirabella yelled as tears rolled down her face and the amulet started to glow brightly as the light surrounded Mirabella in a sort of light barrier and filled the cave causing sharp pointed colorful spikes to come out of the floors and walls trying to do the command the Princess said to do...to silence them by any means necessary...

Emily smiled at the young girl befor her and couldent help but look to see that she indeed did have a problem with urination. with a small sigh Emily fixed her position so that she was on her knees facing Tali.
"Little one i promice to help you in any way i can!" she said with a smile as she placed her hands gently on the girls shoulders. "Ill even help you with....Your problem!" Emily had paused for a moment trying to find the right words for what Tali did. "And i want to appologize for my actions when everyone was falling asleep, I was out of line!" Emily said removing her hands from Tali and bowing her head to show she was deeply sorry. "I hope you can forgive me!" She added and was abbout to regain a confertable position when a rather large comotion began to take place.

Zack smiled as Chenol could relate to his and emilys situation. He blushed a bit though when she had she was glad he was alive. Though to die it he smiled a little bigger. "Yes, i guess we do dont we!" he said with a small laugh. "Though when she wasnt trying to kill me with random animals or plants, she kept me some what sane with the same stories of our mother and father." he said and unconciously grabbed for a hidden necklace around his neck. "They were taken from us when we were just kids, so emily likes to remember them as best she can!" he explained dropping his hand and pushing his hair back from his eyes. "Ahh but that stuff is to depressing to think about now!" he stated and tried to find something more up beat to talk about.Though the comotion mirabella had started stopped his thoughts of more interesting and less depressing topics.

Sam glared at Talos and Jason as the two changed their attaitude and made a run for it. He didnt realize what was happening until it was a little to late. Mirabella was going to shut them up with a spiked barrior. Only having enough time to push Irian out of the way sam did so and was nearly ran through. luckly the fox was nimbl enough to stand sideways on tip toe and just get gouged in the stomach. Not a good combo but better than having the spike completly through him. The man gasped a little as pain began to resonate through his body starting at the wond and travling up and down his limbs. he knew it would be bad for him to move so the fox staid put and bit his lip as well as trembled from the pain he felt from both his stomach and his lip.
"M-Mi-Mirabella, p-pl-ple-please Stop!" he managed to breath as he flet blood trickle down his front and plop to the floor.
Emily stood up now cerious to find what was going on. She had a sick feeling in her stomach like something bad was happening. Leaving Tali and Malone emily went to where all of the noise was comming from. She noticed Jason and Talos a distance from what looked to be dangerous spiked ball. Getting closer Emily could see that it was a marvolus barrior with spikes comming from it.....and sam being injured by one of them. Emilys hands flew up to her lips as she gasped and stood wondering what to do. though once she heard sam asking Mirabella to stop emily couldent help up run into the thornbush. The girl made it all the way to where Mirabella was protecting herself and pounded on the barrior. "Mirabella, Stop this, Stop it!Your hurting Sam, You have to stop!" She yelled and slammed her fists into the barrior as hard as she could in an attempt to break through and try to calm the girl. "Mirabella please, hes in pain, you have to stop!" She yelled again this time more urgently as sam looked like he was going to die. Placing her palms on the barror Emily pleaded with the girl inside before warmpth began to flood to her hands and looking down emily could see she was beginning to use the stons powers of flame to try and break through. Clenching her fists Emily imagined the warmpth wrapped around her hands and forming hard armor that would aid her in breaking through the barrior so she could get to Mirabella.

"D-Don't worry about it," Tali stuttered when Emily apologized, feeling rather awkward. "You're going to help me out, right? That's enough of an apology for me." She really was glad that Emily wasn't going to laugh at her, and, even better, help her with her need of protection. Her glee was short-lived, however, as almost immediately after she finished speaking to Emily, she felt the emotions roiling off of Mirabella, a result of being the Balancer of Emotion and Bearer of the Stone of Spirit. She let out a cry of anguish as the emotions battered against her own before she regained control and looked around. Spotting Sam, who was bleeding heavily, she made her way over to him, generating fire over her hands as she did so. "L-let me put my hands on you!" she said, only coming up to his stomach anyway. "I can stop the bleeding!"

Jai'kar... The time has come... You need to awake and complete your duties... a voice echoed in a young man's head. He was obviously asleep, though in a strange position; it was almost as if he had been embalmed. He was also garbed in what appeared to be the armor of a knight, mainly colored scarlet and gold. His gauntlets were a bright gold, as were his helmet and leg armor, while his boots, breast-plate, and plume were scarlet. His sword lay next to him, shimmering in the eternal candlelight.

Suddenly, his eyes shot open and he jumped from the coffin-esque bed. Noticing the small cavern he was in, he grabbed his sword, strapping it to his belt, as well as strapping the shield nearby onto his back. Next came the helmet, which he placed over his head, closing the visor, and tightened the strap. Then, after he preparations had been made, he took the time to see where he was before the memory came flooding back. He was locked in here in a suspended state of animation for centuries when the Bearer of Earth betrayed the others. He was told he would be awoken when the next Bearer of Spirit had been chosen, so it must mean that the others had been chosen too. Geographically speaking, he was located in a cavern, carved by men, under the Castle of Pyre. Without a moment's hesitation, he densified the wall, causing it to crumble under its own weight. Then, using the power of Gravity, he picked up the rubble, and hurled it at the remaining portion of the wall, shattering it like a china plate. Gravity once again came to his aid, propelling him forward faster then possible until he had enough speed to take flight. Black and white wings shot from his back as he took to the air.

The first thing he noticed was the people. There were several, and, from what he could sense, most of them possessed a Stone. But they were trivial. The major thing that stuck out was the ball of spikes, where he could sense the Bearer of Light. Again, that wasn't what he was looking for. Anxiously, he scanned the field until he felt the presence he was searching for. He located her, a little girl with fiery red hair down below, and dropped with a mighty whoosh. Expertly, he manipulated Gravity to keep from crushing his legs on the landing. The second he landed, he dropped into a kneeling position, impressive considering the size of his armor. "My lady," Jai'kar announced in a deep voice. "I'm at your service."

Belden found himself ensconced within the barrier beside Mirabella.His earlier rage dissipated when he saw just how upset the woman in question had become.He re-thought his opinion of her when he realized that he too would give up the world for Mira.Quietly Belden put his arms around the young woman,silently offering his support and strength.With a sigh Belden did something he'd thought he never would.Reaching out mentally he purposefully tried to enter Mira's mind,but it wouldn't work unless she allowed it in some way or other.Mira needed help,and if she refused to let anyone in....

Fade felt like her world was about to shatter again.How could she protect Samuel,when she couldn't reach him?Then her mind seemed to focus and sharpen to a point much like the opalescent spikes that had appeared everywhere around Mirabella.Irian could do something,hopefully it wouldn't shatter the girl's already fragile state of mind.A healer could soothe ,and the woman was a healer once more.She sent soothing waves of emotion over everyone.It was an attempt to calm them.As Irian did this she walked purposefully towards the sphere of spikes.Her mind barely registered the presence of the youth garbed in armor who had appeared beside the red haired girl.

Malone felt the a horrible headache come upon him as Mirabella began screaming and shouting.It hurt him so much that he fell to his knees with a groan.It wasn't the sound of her voice,it was her pain and confusion.The sensations not his own nearly drove the young man mad.He rocked back and forth near the sphere of spikes clutching his head desperately.In his mind he whispered the same word over and over,stop,stop,stop,stop..Malone didn't know what to do.

Onyx shifted to his dragon form and grabbed Illumina in his claws.At the same time he felt Malone's mental state plunge.It was too soon! The man wasn't ready to play his role yet!With panic Onyx set his mind beside that of his charge to steady him,and was glad that Malone managed,barely,to cling to his sanity.

Jason eyes widen when he saw the spikes and the barrier, before he could call to Talos a black spike came up and shot up towards Jason and stabbed through him where the stone came out and landed on the ground as the spike vanished. Jason fell to the ground grunts in pain holding the wound and started to heal it slowly, before he knew it Jason started to feel different and started to feel like his old self. Looking up he saw Talos looking at him and nodded his head ashowing that it was time to stop hunting the princess and time to assist her. "My old master told me that your time with the contract is up, I guess we aren't suppose to kill her anymore." Talos said in a low voice to Jason, picking up the stone then picked Jason up and healed his wound quickly.

Mirabella's eyes were closed tightly as tears rolled down her face while holding her head as the memory tried to show itself in her mind. She started to shake until she feel a pair of arms wrap around her, opening her shrinken teary eyes Mirabella looked up and saw Belden trying to calm her down. Mirabella then looked at Emily who was outside of the barrier trying to get in, "Em-Emi...." she said slowly removing a hand away from her head to reach towards her friend but her attention was taken by Sam. Mirabella's were now the size of sauser plates and she pupils became unseen as she saw a spike was impaled in his stomach and started to go in deeper and deeper, "STOP IT NOW, STOP IT!!!" she screamed as the spikes vanished and Mirabella collapsed.

Emily stopped pounding on the barrior long enough to see that mirabella was being embraced by the young man with her, and to see that she noticed her outside the barrior. "Please...Please" Emily wispered her eeys filling with tears as she pleaded for the young girl to stop what she was doing and controll her emotions. The calm Irian had sent out had caused emily to become a little hasey and less rushed but she still felt the need to hurry for Sams sake. Though once the barrior dissapierd Emily felt herself lurch forward and to her knees everything seemed to work out for the best.

Sam groaned as tali came up to him hands glowing red with what he could only assume was heat. He didnt like the idea of being burned to be healed. But he coulnt really refuse eather. Shaking his head the fox refused to have the little girl touch him with those firery hands. He was willing tomake his injury worse before he was willing to be burned.
"I-Irian...w-will h-heal me." he stated as best he could. "NO Burning pl-please!" He added. Before he knew it though the spike he was attached to had gone away and he was refraning from flopping over onto the small figuar before him. Though it would do him no good at all becase all his body wanted to do was lean forward and thats where Tali was. The girl had only to keep her hands up to stop him from falling onto her, and faling was what Sam was good at.

Zack couldn't do much but watch was was happening, though when he watched Malone drop to the ground and hold his head the man couldn't help but go to his aid. "I-Ill be back!" Zack stated as he sprinted from Chenol to Malone. Once he reached the young man Zack knelt beside him and placed an arm around his shoulders. "Hey Malone, y-you ok!?" he asked the man and tried to assest what was happening to his friend.

Chenol watched everything that happened with wide eyes. It was just so wow and she didn't know what to do. When Zack said he would be right back she faintly nodded. Seeing the man bleeding and falling to the little girl made her act. With quick speed and grace of an elf, she grabbed a vial from a bag hidden behind Raja's wing and rushed over to them. Chenol caught the man before he could fall onto the little girl and held onto him so he wouldn't fall. "Here let me help you sit down? I can heal you if you would like?" She held up the vial with her other hand. "It's a secret healing serum of he Elves. I just put a drop on your wound and it will heal right up. Do you wish me to do so?" Before she had left she had made sure to pack some in her bag. Raja followed her over and stood right behind her making sure she didn't come to any harm. She was overprotective like that.
