Naruto felt his feet make contact with the rough dirt under his boots as he walked towards his favorite Ramen shop. The wind was blowing gently his short blonde spiked up hair. oh the wonders of not having to brush your hair. The streets weren't really crowded it being around six in the afternoon. Most people were home with their families having dinner. Something he really didn't have...a family. He brushed the thoughts away as he shoved his hands into his pockets and turned left down another street. It was only a five minute walk from his house and he was grateful for it. He'd just returned from a solo mission where he had to help rebuild a bridge in one of the neighboring towns. An old couple was unable to make it into town if they hadn't. He didn't complain about those missions like he did the other simpler missions. He loved helping people in anyway he could.

He looked up from the ground he'd been staring at to see the old shop. A smile crept over his face as he walked the last few steps to his normal seat. He plopped down on the brown old stool and looked at the elder man. He smiled back at Naruto.

"Why your back already? That was pretty fast." he said as he started to get Naruto's regular dish ready. He always had the same thing and he was glad to make it for the younger man. He was his best costumer after all and tended to bring others to his shop at times as well.

"Yeah, it wasn't a difficult thing to do. Just a little bridge." he explained then went into further detail as he watched with a watering mouth as the man created his wonderfully amazing dinner. He'd just gotten paid too so he was going to eat till his full. He wondered how many bowls he wanted.

Shutting the door and locking it behind him Sasuke started to walk towards the park when he suddenly decided he was hungry, okay his stomach decided to growl loudly to tell him to eat, and as the saying goes 'hunger get's what hunger wants.' Sighing he turned sharply on his heels and headed his way down to the ramen shop. 'I wonder if Dobe is back. . . Wait why should I care?" he thought as he sighed again. Sasuke lived exactly seven blocks away from the ramen shop. Quite frankly he could have picked something closer, he knew why he picked ramen though.

Sighing again, which he was doing a lot lately, he passed by a few fangirls who made him roll his eyes. "Can't they tell I'll never be interested in them?" He said out loud surprising himself slightly. Playing it off cool he just kept walking down to go get food as his stomach yelled at him occasionally. Finally he got to the Ramen shop after several people stopped for a quick chat which consisted of a lot of hn's on his part.

As he walked inside he saw a certain blonde headed ninja. For some reason his heart skipped a beat and he couldn't exactly pinpoint why. Smirking Sasuke sat by Naruto silently wondering if he would notice. Unfortunately the shop keeper would destroy the surprise when he asked "And what would you like Sasuke-chan?" He rolled his eyes slightly as he spoke "My normal chicken please!" (I'm just making it that. . . )
