Well, I guess most people would say I'm kinda shy a lotta the time. I don't open up to people real good, but when I do, oh boy. I'm creative -- music is my passion, though I love to sketch stuff too. To be honest though, I don't really like the idea of being famous for either of 'em I mean, c'mon. Next thing you know, it'll be raining cookies and all the snow in the world will turn into blueberry ice cream. Ah, well. Everyone can dream, right ?

Saying I'm shy would be a lie. But saying that I'm unstoppable, fearless would be a whole other thing. I love animals, singing, living life. Fighting? What's the point? Don't get me wrong, sometimes I can enjoy a good a good show, but I don't see the worth. I don't want to grow up, the thought of it scares me. I'd say more, but the best way to find out everything about me is by getting to know me. The last, most important thing; I'm supposed to be an adult, but all I want to do is be a kid.... Just for a little bit longer.

The spot under the willow, right next to the water was what she called hers. Adrina knew that she wasn't the only person that used it, but when ever she went she was alone, so she knew it as her own. Sitting there with her toes resting in the cool water she wished for excitement. Something new, that would take her focus away from the worries that she had.

After a few moments she sighed 'Wishing isn't doing you any good, you need to go and find it,' she thought not knowing exactly what type of excitement she was looking for. Standing up Adrina gazed into the water and started to walk in until it was up to her knees. Making sure that she kept balance she kicked around, feeling the thick sand between her toes. That was all she wanted to feel, turning around she headed back to the shore and got out drying her legs off with a towel and deciding that it was time to go.

Grabbing her things she placed them all in her bag before turning on her iPod and beginning to walk. Her home was about a mile or a little more away from the Willow and she didn't mind the short walk that it took. The sun was still high, and it was warm enough that she could have just let her legs dry by them self.

The sky was turning a vanilla-amber colour as twilight approached, with soft, wispy, peachy clouds rolling across the splash of water-colour. In the west-side of town, a dark-haired boy strolled down the empty street, carrying his board in his hand and his old, beaten-up guitar on his back. A large fold of paper stuck out of the butt-pocket of his black skinny jeans as he whistled a cheerful tune to himself. His black t-shirt clung to his skin as the light, summer breeze raced past him.With a smile on his face, PJ made his way into a park and sat himself down on an old iron bench. Taking his cap from his head and lying it on the ground in front of him to collect donations, the boy clicked his neck. Turning his guitar around to his chest, he lay his hands on the fret board and let his fingers dance across the strings, creating a song which rode the soft breeze like a string of leaves. The emo boy's self-customised Converse tapped against the concrete path in time with his words.

"If it's not those cowboy boots in the summer, oh my God, I pray for another," he sung to the passers-by. "chance to drive down back highways 'till I stumble upon your beautiful face."

(So I broke and did this on my iPod, so sorry if there are any mistakes. I'll fix them when I get on a real computer. -_-)

It wasn't long before she reached her large, yet cozy home. Walking up the drive she noted that she was the only one home and Adrina frowned slightly. Once inside she Ran up to her room that had a balcony attached that overlooked her back yard, picking up some shorts she changed quickly deciding that she wanted to head out into town. It was a great time to get a cold snack, and maybe she would even meet someone. 'Not likely,' she thought but decided that what happened, happened and her own thoughts would not affect anything.

As soon as Adrina put on her white shorts, she slipped on white converse and headed outside to her car. Pulling out of the driveway she wondered where exactly she was going to go, a lot of things sounded good to her. In her town there were a lot of family owned restaurants, not a lot of the fake franchise places that other cities had. After a while she parked in a public lot and got out, looking around she bit her lip while running a hand through her soft hair to get it out of her face.

Not knowing what she wanted she began to walk, but her mind was soon made up when she spotted her favorite Ice Cream shop. Quickly she ordered two scoops of Superman Ice Cream on a waffle cone, after paying Adrina walked outside and began to just stroll around. Suddenly she heard the sound of music playing and a beautiful voice to go with it, walking closer to the sound she found a cute boy who seemed to be looking for tips. Stopping in front of him she listened for a few minutes longer before smiling brightly at him and placing ten dollars in the cap. Adrina had no idea what the money was for, but it wasn't her business and she found that she loved the sound of his voice.

PJ's eyes slowly drifted down to his cap as he saw a ten dollar bill being placed into the material by a soft-looking hand. He smiled broadly as he looked up, gazing into a pair of deep, crystal-like eyes. Nodding his head at the skinny girl stood in front of him, he winked, poking out his tongue. He suddenly ceased playing his cover of NeverShoutNever and switched to something a little more suited to wooing a lady. Taking a deep breath, he began to sing, softening his amber-green eyes until the colours were swirling like butterscotch. His voice glided through the park as he strummed away at his guitar, watching the expression of the girl transform. A warm feeling filled the boy up inside, rays of metaphorical sunshine rolling off him as he beamed.

When his eyes met her own she couldn't help bit to smile, and then laughed when he winked and poked his tounge out, she found it cute. When he stopped playing and picked up a new song, listening to him just made her melt. Maybe she was just hypnotized by the voice and just the presence of the boy, but at that moment she felt like she had found what she had been looking for. Once he finished she just gazed at him but then stopped and felt the blood rushing to her cheeks, "You really sound amazing," she said softly.

PJ watched the mysterious girl as the blood rose under her cheeks, boiling like lava after only a moment spent pulsing through her scalding hot beating heart. He smiled back at her, observing her for a moment. Her hair bellowed out from her pale head ; in the boy's imagination, he saw it poofing out around her like a giant fluffy cloud, each fair strand twisting and twirling in the soft summer's breeze that flowed around the two of them. Her eyes, like twinkling gems, shone and sparkles in the sunlight, positively luminous. Her skin was clear and flawless, like porcelain, like a china doll. The boy imagined how it must feel ; soft and feather-like, her heartbeat pulsating just under her flesh. Cocking his head to one side, he finally replied.

"The pleasure is all mine, dear sweet maiden." he spoke the words softly, quiet enough for the passers-by to only register it as a distant bird-call, but just loud enough that he knew the girl would hear it. "And, to what do I owe the pleasure ?"

Adrina watched quietly as he seemed to be studying her, she wondered what he was thinking. Was it something good? Did he find her attractive or just different looking? There wasn't any apparent look of disgust so that was good atleast, then he spoke to her and she felt like she was drawn to him even more. The boys normal voice was just as beautiful as his singing one, and the way he spoke to her was different it confused her a bit. Now she was afraid to speak back because Adrina didn't want to sound like an idiot and she was bound to because she didn't really know what he was asking. 'Please don't blow this!, she thought, too hard on herself like she was sometimes, 'Just calm down.' For some odd reason talking to the boy in front of her was a really big deal, and not because he was absolutely gorgeous and could probably get her to do anything with that voice of his.

"I don't really know," was what she went with, "I just haven't heard anyone sing like you do so close before. My name is Adrina by the way," she added while panickig slightly on the inside. 'Smooth.' There were the few times when she found herself suddenly shy and she always ended up embarrassed by something.

PJ watched the girl as she replied, absorbing her adorable smile as he cocked his head. He wondered what she must think of him ; the mysterious stranger or just that cute guy from the park ? He couldn't recall meeting her before, so he assumed she must be just as curious of him as he was of her. PJ imagined running his hand over her soft-looking cheek, feeling her skin react to his touch. Shaking his head, the daydream vanished as he heard her soft voice fly.

"Adriana." he repeated her name, feeling the flow of it as it rolled off his tongue. "PJ."

Scooting off the bench, he knelt down on the ground, reaching for the girl's fair hand. He took a moment to observe it before lowering his lips to her skin, breathing in her scent as he kissed her knuckles. God, she smelt good.

The boy didn't seem to take note of her nervous ramble, well if he did he didn't show it. Instead he was watching her in a way that just made her blush. 'What could possibly be so interesting?' she pondered watching him carefully then witnessing him come out of what ever trance he had momentarily been in. "Pj," she whispered aloud liking the way his short name sounded, somehow the name fit him well. Adrina wasn't exactly sure why, but it did and along with his name she wanted to know more about him. To her surprise he suddenly slipped off of the bench and moved towards her taking her right hand is his own and bent down kissing her hand softly. When his soft lips met her hand Adrina couldn't help but shiver a little and it wasn't because it was getting cooler. "How come I haven't met you before?" she asked not sure if she had but couldn't remember. 'Oh, I don't think I could have ever forgotten him,' she thought biting her lip as she looked down at him.

PJ smiled, feeling the electricity buzzing over the girl's skin at the place where his lips had touched it. He sat back on the bench, still gazing up at the angel, watching the soft breeze lifting small, delicate strands of her hair up from her shoulders to fly around her like a cloud. He sighed under his breath, feeling a sharp stab of longing in his chest. Swallowing the tear-jerking emotion, he raised an eyebrow.

"Probably because I just rolled up in town." he replied, flipping his long dark hair out of his eyes. "And what's a pretty little thing like you doing in a place like this ?"

"Well then that explains it, you've picked the right spot," she said enthusiastically before flashing a bright smile and going back to watching him. Everything about him was just so interesting and beautiful. He was definitely a pretty boy and that didn't bother her at all. As her eyes moved over him when their eyes came in contact she couldn't help but gasp, they were an amazing blue, deep and entrancing. 'God he's perfect,' she thought as she tried to pull her gaze away from his not wanting to look like she was staring because she absolutely was. "I honestly don't really know what I'm doing, but I came out here because I need something new in my life," she answered truthfully not exactly sure if he would know what she would talking about. "But what are you doing out here?" she asked really wishing that she could just be in contact again. His looked skin so soft, and so warm. 'If only I could touch it,' she wished. Wanting to just reach out and stroke his cheek gently, or to even kiss his lip. Oh his lips! How long had it been since she kissed last? It couldn't have been that long but her mind was on fire for it as if it had been for years. 'Snap out of it Adrina!' She scolded herself knowing she wasn't going to get any where with all of the fantasies.

PJ smiled at Adrina, watching her happy face bathed in sunshine. He quietly flicked his hair, wafting it's wood-musk scent towards her. Looking up, his eyes smouldered behind his long, dark eyelashes. Smoothing out his voice, he replied quickly ; "Something new, huh ? Sounds like you should try sky-diving sometime." Smirking at the remark, he continued. "I'm out here tryin'a earn a few spare bucks. I walked out on my job the other day 'cause a guy came into the parlour demanding that I inked a racist phrase onto his arm. I refused to tattoo him, boss got mad, I left."

Laughing she shook her head, "I don't really know of too many sky diving opportunities around here, but I'll keep that in mind," she replied with a grin. What he said next caught her attention the most, "You're a tattoo artist?" she asked wondering if there was anything not interesting about this boy. Pausing for a moment she bit her lip thinking, "Well that is a good reason to quit, have you started looking for a replacement job yet?" she asked him. At the moment Adrina didn't have a job, she had worked before but had to recently quit for a lot of different reasons. "And how old are you?" she asked a question that was steady on on her mind.

"Ha, you never know." PJ replied, winking. Flirtatious was his middle name, and this chick sure seemed to be buying it. "Yeah, I make a living poking people with needles. It's fun." He watched as she bit her lip, wondering what the two rose-coloured muscles would taste like against his. Sweet ? "Nah, haven't really looked yet. Hence the busking." He gestured to his guitar and played a quick improvised solo. "I'm nineteen. You ?"

"True," she replied with a grin before looking him over, "So I'm guessing you have a few tattoo's?" she challenged raising an eyebrow. Adrina had always wanted a tattoo but had never gotten a chance to get one along with a couple of other piercings. When he told her his age she just nodded trying to hide her excitement, she didn't like it when guys were a lot older than her, "I'm eighteen," she told him with a smile. "Do you mind if I sit down?" she asked gesturing to the place on the bench next to him.

PJ grinned, happy to have found a girl not afraid of his appearence. Usually, chicks just freaked out when they saw his tattoos, but Adrina seemed totally into it. He indicated towards the ink on his right arm. "Got that one when I was sixteen. My sister Skye's a few years older than me, got into the business way before I did. She did it for me." He nodded at her question, patting the bench beside him and placing his arm along the back of the bench behind her.

Leaning in more she took in the tattoo and then reached out touching it with out thinking, she blushed and drew her hand back before grinning. "That's pretty sweet, do you plan on getting any more?" she asked before walking around him and sitting down. Adrina turned towards him so that she could look at him as they talked and felt her bare leg brush against him, "Sorry," she apologized blushing again before moving slightly not enough to put anymore distance in between them.

PJ closed his eyes and relished in the moment when Adrina ran her fingertips along the tribal design in his arm. He sighed, feeling a sense of bliss filling him up in that single moment. How many years had it been since a girl last touched him ? "I actually have twelve already, but I should probably take you out to dinner before showing you those." He winked at her, poking out his tongue. Once again, their skin touched, only for the briefest of moments. Electricity buzzed over the dark-haired boy's skin, even through his jeans, lingering even when the girl took her leg away. He watched the blood rise to the edge of the skin of her cheeks. God, she was cute. Snapping back to reality, he decided to make conversation. "So, what about you ? Any ink ?"

Listening to his joke she couldn't help but laugh and looked him over wondering where the other tattoo's were. 'I'd love to find the other eleven,' she thought to herself with a small smirk. "I don't have any tattoo's, I've always wanted one but I have no idea what to get or where to get it," Adrina said with a shrug before looking down at her fair skin and then back up at him wanting to catch his beautiful eyes again. 'I am the luckiest girl in the whole entire world right now,' she thought to herself.

PJ winked at Adrina, poking out his tongue. "It's a hobby for me. Most people'll tell you that you gotta be real sure about it before you get one. I got half of mine while I was totally wasted, never once regretted it." He watched her as she looked down, and attempted to lock eyes with her as she looked up. Smiling, he held out a hand. "How about it, then. Dinner ?"

"So you look to party, eh?" she asked with a grin before shrugging. "I think I'd probably have to be under the influence of something if I got one because I'd probably chicken out or something," Adrina told him with a chuckle. Looking up at his hand she smiled softly, "That sounds great," she said with a grin before reaching out and taking it. Touching him made her feel on fire, this long contact was nothing like the little zaps she got from brushing against him or stroking his tattoo. 'Imagine if we were to kiss?!' she thought in her head excited at even the thought of it. "Where to?" she asked him brightly.

"Girl, 'liking' to party would be the understatement of the century." he laughed, smiling at her. "Well then, you'd better be careful. Someone might not be able to resist getting you wasted out of your brains and tattooing you." Feeling their hands touch, he boy sighed again, closing his eyes for the briefest of moments. "Well, I know a big ol' swanky place uptown. Champagne, steak, dancing . . . it's a hellofa place." He paused, watching the people rush in front of them, making their way through the park. "But, there's also this little Italian place I know. I grew up with the owner's daughter. Quaint little resturant, ivy walls, nice open courtyard . . ." Looking up to Adrina, he smiled. "The choice is all yours, Princess." He winked playfully, exaggerating the nickname.

Grinning she nodded, "That sounds very interesting, I might have to see you in action some times as long as I don't wake up with twenty tattoo's," she said with a grin 'Princess?' she thought with a grin, it had been a while since anyone had called her that, unless they were trying to insult her, but from him it was completely adorable. Pausing for a moment she thought about their options, "How about we go to the little Italian place and save your little swanky place for another time?" she asked him with a smile. Hopefully all of this would go well so they would have another opportunity to go to a different place, heck a lot of opportunities.
