Haru walked around the town, money in his pocket. He had everything he wanted now, but he knew any money he returned home with would be lost. He hated that, knowing his hard earned money was going to the people who found it first. Maybe, walking around the market stalls, he would find someone who deserved something nice. His eyes caught a glimpse of a girl, young and pretty. She was looking at a lovely bag, and counting out coins slowly, before shaking her head and starting to walk away looking heart broken.
Vanessa sat in the wood on a branch of a tall tree, her long hair around her, looking down at a house. It seemed empty, but she had to make sure first. Eventually, she swung down and took out a small knife. For protection, not for action. The house didn't seem very rich, and that's what she liked in a target. Slowly she went in, and started to go through the draws, coat pockets and money boxes of the house. She smiled for every time she hit cash. It was feeling like a good day. That was until she turned round, and a man was standing in the door way. Her knife went to his throat and she glared at him, waiting for him to speak.
