Jez pulled up to her old home. She couldn't believe it has been sever years. Sever years since she confessed to Aiden. She shook her head at the thought. She moved inside her home, dragging her bags behind her. The house was a simple one story house. She walked in, looking at the empty house she once lived in. She smiled a little. She then took her bags to her old room. She sat on her old bed, staring out the window. She wondered if life would be just as good as it use to be.

Jez knew that there was school today, but she wasn't suppose to go till tomorrow. However, Jez was stubborn, so she opened her window, stepping out from it like she use to, and heading to school. Hoping to see some old friends. She also hoped her old friends didn't hate her for leaving.

Jez walked up to the school, hands in the pockets of her skinny jeans. She tilted her head, making her blonde hair shift. She then entered the building, looking around. She wondered if anyone remembers her.

Aiden sighed in frustration as he stared up at the blackboard. It was only the first day of his senior year and already Aiden was getting tired of it. As he half-listening to his English teacher speak about basic grammar and what his standard for this class would be Aiden felt his eye-lids slowly sliding over his eye-balls. Quickly he noticed this and shot up in his seat. A small blush rose to his cheeks when he saw the entire class staring at him. "Um...I have to go...use the restroom."He stated. Aiden quickly rushed out of the classroom before the teacher had the chance to respond. Hopefully he wouldn't get into to much trouble for doing that. Fitting his hands into his jean pockets Aiden quietly walked through the empty hallways. Only a few lingered out,most likely for the same reason that he did.

Jez continued to walk down the empty halls, seeing a few other students, some she did remember, but when she said hi, they only looked at her as if she was crazy. Jez sighed as she watched her feet. She looked up after a short moment, and continued walking, looking into class rooms. Seeing who she remembered, and who she didn't. She then noticed one person who had slipped out into the hall way. She stopped, he eyes widening just a touch. "A-adien." She called out, standing there, a slight smile forming. She recognized him right away. She thinks the ontly thing that has changed, appearance wise, was his piercings. She then frowned when fear gripped her. What if he didn't remember here? What if he did, but hated her for what she did seven years ago. She bit her lower lip, watching him carefully. She wondered. What would she do if he didn't remember her. He was her best friend. How could he not remember her. Then again, the other people she ran into didn't remember her either.

Hearing a female voice call his name Aiden immediately turned to the girl only a few feet away from him. As soon as he locked eyes with the girl something odd began to stir inside his stomach. "Um...Hello?"He replied. Confusion was written across his face as the familiarity of this girl bugged him immensely. Suddenly it was all so clear. The blond hair I’d seen every day of my childhood, the freckles that graced her once cherub, angelic face, and the blue eyes I’d spent all those idle summer afternoons staring into like she was the only one in the world. Suddenly, my whole childhood came back, crashing down on me like a fifty foot tidal wave, washing away my senses. How could this be? Aiden thought as he continued to stare at his childhood best friend. "Jezabell?"He whispered with a hoarse voice.

Jez smiled. "Aiden...I'm back..." She moved closer. "I...well..." She bit her lip some. "I missed you..." She was glad he remembered who she was. It was such a relief. But fear was still there. Does he hate me for leaving so suddenly? That was the question swimming through her mind. She had her hands together, clentching them. Her hands were chaking, but the smile on her face was stuck. His beautiful eyes were still the same, and his handsome face. The new piercings were more like icing on the cake. She was happy, but also scared. Scared that she might end up losing him again. She actually had never planned to come back. When she thought that, she figured she could deal with him hating her, but here she was.

Snapping out of his daze Aiden took a step back,noticing Jezabell closer then before. He could hardly process she was back in town and now that she was speaking confused him even more. Just her voice made a million memories that were locked down rushing back. Rubbing his temple Aiden suddenly looked up in shock when he heard the class bell ring. He couldn't believe he spent the remaining time of class outside in the school hallways. Realizing the semi-awkward atmosphere between himself and Jez ,Aiden quickly cleared his throat. "Um yes....well I should go. Glad you back...catch you later."He stated in monotone before stepping backwards and disappearing through the crowd of high-school students.

Jez blinked. "What? W-wait! Aiden!" But he soon vanished. She stood there, shocked, upset, and confused. She remained there for awhile untill someone bumped into her saying 'Watch where you are going' Jez put on a sad smile. That girl that had ran into her was another one of her close friends. Obviously she didn't remember her. Jez took a few steps back before running out of the school building. I'm so stupid! Of course no one remembers me, of cource Aiden hates me! I'm so stupid!" She kept running untill she found herself at a little creek. She also remembered that this was one of her's and Aiden's hand outs. She was looking foward to hanging there with him again. Well it didn't look like that was going to happen. She kneeled down, sticking her hand in the water. Forcing back tears.

Aiden watched calmly as his class-mates rose from there desks,picked up there bags,and with smiles upon there lips walked out of class. It was finally the end of the first day of high-school and for once he wished school could just continue. If school could just continue he wouldn't be able to think about Jezabell moving back to town after 7 years of being gone. Finally standing from his desk he lazily grabbed his bag and placed one of it's straps over his shoulder. Stepping out of the classroom Aiden gradually made his way through the crowd and out of school grounds. He remembered that he was actually supposed to meet up with Shawn and Jason but do to his little incident earlier today he decided to skip out. There would always be other times. With a clouded mind filled with confusing thoughts Aiden suddenly found himself in the woods. Only a few feet away was the creek though was quite small now held so many innocent memories. Taking a few steps closer to the creek he noticed someone close by it. With wide eyes Aiden froze in place. "Jez?"He whispered with a hoarse,dry voice. He couldn't believe that Jez would come here. Why didn't she just go back to her house?

Jez sat there all day, staring into the water. Her hand traced the water as he flowed down the creek. She sighed some, suddenly not so happy she came back. She heard some foot steps, causing her hand to stop. She thought she heard her name, but she figured it was nothing. She stuck her fingers back into the cold water, remembering good times that she wished oh so much to return to. She looked at her reflection in the water, hating it. She splashed the water before standing up, tilting her head towards the sky. "He should be out by now..." She smiled some. "Hope he made plenty of other friends while I was gone." She placed her hands behind her back.

Hearing Jez's words were like multiple knifes stabbing him in the gut over and over again. Was she really that sad? With a deep breath Aiden summoned up his courage and finally took the remaining steps towards Jez. Quietly Aiden sat down beside her,his backpack now on the forest floor. “Jez,” He mumbled under his breath, covering his face with his hands, “I spent days looking for you until my parents told me you’d moved away. I was by this creek for 24 hours, hoping you’d come back."Aiden whispered with a hoarse tone.

Jez blinked, her bright blue eyes turning to him, widening just a touch. She was suprised he even came here. She listed to what he had to say. She then looked away, sitting back down before pullin her knees up to her chest, hugging them. "Aiden..I..." She sighed, not knowing what to say. She had really hurt him. "I was confused I guess...I mean....moving is never an easy thing to do...I should have told you...but..." she looked at him. "I didn't know how to tell my best friend I was leaving, and probably never coming back." Of course, she actually did come back. Jez stared at the water again. "I guess when I came back, I was hoping that all I had to do was say hi and things would go back to what they use to be." She smiled some. But it was only half hearted.

Aiden listening to Jez's words in silence. Finally realizing he wasn't just the one who was hurt those 7 years back. Suddenly Aiden felt completely stupid. A wide grin spread across his face as laughter fell past his lips. It felt like a huge relief. Maybe it was just himself but it actually felt good to realize how stupid he was. With a quick motion he pulled Jez into a comforting hug. Not only for her but himself as well. After a minute he released Jez from his hug and sat back down on the forest floor. "I'm not really sure what your thinking about but....I don't think we ever really stopped being friends."He said with a warm smile plastered on his lips.

Jez blinked when he started laughing. First taking it as an insult. "Hey! Wait a min-" However, at that time she was pulled into a hug. She stilled with suprise. She was so confused. She smiled though, returning the hug before she was released. She stared at him and said. "But aren't you mad?" She shook her head. "Don't answer that. I'm just glad we're together again. You're my bestfriend, and I am so glad to be back. And if you are mad, that's okay. As long as I'm near you. Its okay. Infact, you are probably the only friend I have here anymore. No one really seemed to remember me back at the school. Not even Lilly." She mentioned, remembering when she had bumped into her earlier tofay and then yelled at her.

Aiden could clearly see that sadness in Jez's eyes as she mentioned her old friend Lilly. Digging into his pants pocket Aiden brought out his cellphone. Flipping open the phone he could easily see the time. "It's not to late."He stated before closing the phone and shoving back into his pockets. Grabbing his backpack Aiden stood from the forest floor. "I'm not sure what you want to do but if you want we can go see some of my friends. I was supposed to meet them earlier today but I decided to come here instead. It isn't to late to still go visit them."He said with a happy expression.

Jez blinked, looking up some. She then began to stand up. "Are you sure?" She thought for a moment and nodded. "Yeah...Let's go." She added with a smile before her stomach suddenly growled. "Oh! Haha, sorry, I didn't eat lunch." She then brushed some hair from her face. Turning to him again. She was so glad they were friends again. Even though he said that they really never stopped being friends. She placed her hands behind her as she began to walk away from the creek with her best friend. It started out rocky. But there they were. Hanging out again.
