Jacob could only laugh. "Yes, your looks." Jacob crossed her arms. No one looks pretty when they cry. Its just well, sad. "Yea, next time be smart and buy the water proof kind." Jacob raised her index finger to make it her point. Jacob smiled back as Glyn smiled awkwardly. It was kind of a weird way to introduce someone new. He seemed to be those kind of people who never really had conversations. Jacob was kind of the exact opposite. She was always in the mood for conversation.

"Nice meeting you too, Glyn."

Another Mad Bloke 01-25-2011 04:04 PM

Glyn nodded, smiling in that abashed manner. “You must excuse me…normally I wouldn’t be this much of a stuttering fool, were it not for earlier…” He said the last part a bit quieter than his previous volume of speech, as if he were in favor of not recalling what happened. Which was his own fault in the first place, he unfortunately added.

“In any case…” he said, sighing as he took his seat again, “why on earth are you here at this madhouse? Someone as lively as you…” He smiled kindly, tilting his head in a quizzical manner.

BloodyAnnebelle 01-25-2011 10:13 PM

Jacob laughed as she seemed to have embarrassed the boy. He was stuttering. "Your not the first stutter person I met, mybrother, he may seem like he is the shit, but please, that boy can't talk without stuttering." Jacob tried to make light of the mood. Everyone in here seemed so dead and broken. While her she stood bright, lively, and yet some how dangerous.

After hearing his question Jacob puffed her cheeks and clasped her hands together. Sighing as she took her seat and rolling her eyes with a smirk. "Well now, my life was pretty much all turned upside down the day my ftaher tried to drown me, because I wasn't a boy. Thats how I got the name Jacob. Ive been into drugs, cigerettes, alcohol, hookah, and so many other little problems. My brother thought it would be best to give up as he said we were just killing each other slowly. No why are you here mister?" She copied his movement by tilting her head to the side.

Hresvelgr 01-26-2011 04:12 AM

Xylia only laughed a bit. "Not like I have kill anyone" She answered rather simply. looking to the box on the ceiling. Hoping there was really nothing the box. She suddenly felt someone behind her. Another boy. Man was she popular tonight. He poped the question she was honestly waiting for. Weather or not she had strings to pull. Getting her dealers to drive this far would prove difficult. Although she was hard business to loose.

Xylia did understand why celebrates were addicted so bad. During parties dealers would show up. Looking very nice, and would easily blend in. They would slip samples into food and drinks. Forcing them to become addicted. She noticed he was not staring at her. Instead looking away. He was nervous. Probably of girls, but his addiction would pull him away.

"The strings are very long. It is finding a way to reach them that is the hard part." She whispered only to him. Looking up at the box on the ceiling. Although quickly loosing interest. Since started to feel a bit hot. More of a hot flash than anything.

AliceinZombieland 01-26-2011 06:24 PM

Motor walked over to the dot that the other girl pointed out. He took a moment to appreciate that she was also very pretty. He observed the possible camera, peering at it and standing up on tip-toe to get a good look. He couldn't be positive, but he thought there was a red dot. He frowned, leaning back on his heels. "Check one, we have a red dot. Guess that makes us all stars. You think they're making a tv show off of us?" He cocked his head to one side, contemplative. It would make them money if they were, but he didn't remember signing any papers. Then again, he wasn't of legal age. His parents might have signed consent without telling him. Figures. "Well, if they are, they'll be getting quite a show."

He glanced back to find Xylia and saw her talking with another boy. Deciding to let her alone a bit to socialize with others, he glanced back into the kitchen, smelling the delicious aroma of dinner wafting from that direction. It must almost be done. He could see the girls setting up the table and he smiled. Almost felt like home with everyone working together like they were.

Another Mad Bloke 01-26-2011 07:28 PM

Glyn paused at her short bio of her life...he was hitting himself for sounding rude, even though he probably didn't to the girl. He frowned, his gaze dimmed and far off as his hand slightly tugged at his sleeve..."Would you honestly like to know?" he mused, his glance back to Jacob, questioning her. "You'd honestly be disgusted, as you see..." his voice murmured once more, the same hand lifting the sleeve of his left arm up.

By simple deduction, it would've been noted that his arms didn't get to see much light. They were terribly pale, like they were stuck underground while the rest of his life continued on normally in an already dark environment. But, of course, this wasn't what she should be disgusted at. Countless numbers of scars overlaced each other, crossing each other, covering the others, overlaying in a mesh of mutilated skin and red. Some looked as if they were freshly made. In the center of it all was a crudely made Wiccan pentagram, carved permanently into his skin. He smiled kindly, like it was only a basic sight.

"My parents wouldn't let me get a tattoo, so I did that. It fits perfectly among the little ones, don't you think?..."

Eiiri 01-26-2011 08:52 PM

Lynn frowned at the thought of them being on some sort of TV series. It was something she had never wanted to do. She liked to be in the background, if they were on a TV, she'd be easily recognizable; not something she wanted as a thief. "Its probably just for observation, hopefully. I never signed something for a TV show. Then again, my foster mother filled out all the paperwork for this place," she shrugged, looking back up at him. It would be something the woman would have done, she had hated Lynn more than most foster families did.

Sniffing the air, she could smell the dinner cooking in the other room. She had heard the guy Aiden saying he could cook. It seemed that he might be right there. It made her feel bad she had lifted his wallet earlier. One thing she had found out early in life was to not piss off the cook. "Dinner smells good," she said, trying to be more conversational. Knowing where the cameras were, she could at least act like she was trying.

Yue Eztilli 01-27-2011 01:28 AM

Rayn turned her head a nit as she heard the light conversation about the camera she had seen. ‘So I was right' she thought to herself, turning back to watch to see if she was needed again. ‘So they are taping us, but is it just to make sure we fallow the rules, or are they making a pretty penny of us? I bet ‘dad' had gotten payed to sign for me, at least i finally had a use to him..' She turned and leaned up against the wall, so she could listen in on other's conversations. She didn't want to talk to others, but that didn't mean she wasn't curious to know them. She tilted her head a bit so it was also against the wall. It had been three days now since she had last felt any pain, well physical at least, she always mentally wounded herself. But it was never the same. She looked around the room she was in trying to find a source that she could use at a later date and time. She really wasn't betting on finding one but hey, she had faith that the Devil would help her into temptation, not that she was really religious or anything.

He listened as she whispered, almost awkwardly. His posture was slumped slightly and his hair hung in his face more than average. Certainly, his body was calling to him, but he would merely cease to listen. She mentioned the length of her social ties with dealers and soon Kalipso began to worry he might not get much of any fix at all. Sure, he could easily ferment something to make alcohol, but it would taste bad. Then again, rubbing alcohol in small portioned sustained. But there was always the insatiable need for more this, more that, a harder touch on his delicate skin, a fire down his throat.

Xylia was certainly an interesting person, but it was sort of obvious why she was here. She was addicted to some of the same things he was. Her posture and the way her body smelled told an all to familiar story. He glanced up slyly, the camera likely getting a clear shot of his disapproving glares. Nevertheless, he knew it would be hard to get what he needed, what his body craved. Lust had already began to fill him, the withdrawal beginning a lot more quickly than he had expected. After all, it had only been nearly twenty four hours since his last hit.

Straightening out his shoulders, back cracking at an audible volume, Kalipso looked around the room before responding to Xylia. "How difficult do you think it may be? Do any know your location..?" Sure, he wanted his fix, but it kept proving difficult. He was hopeful, but not too positive, that she might know someone, anyone, who could help them get what they craved/

With her mind fully engrossed in her dance routine, Addie had completely forgotten about her suitcase, which lay half open on the hardwood floor. Her left foot collided with it and she fell over, landing on her knees. She cursed loudly and slowly stood up, knees shaking from the fall. She took a second to regain herself, to fix her clothes and hair, and pulled off her hoodie. It was moderately warm in the house, and she was sweaty from the dancing. "You're losing your touch," she whispered at her reflection in the mirror. She adjusted the sleeves on her ripped long sleeved white shirt, as well as the black cami underneath, and ran a hand through her hair.

Shaking her head, Addie began to walk downstairs. She didn't want to be isolated any longer, her thoughts were beginning to be too much for her. Her nerves itched for the feel of a bottle in her soft hands, but she tried to get rid of the feeling. She strolled down the stairs, plastering a smile on her face, and trotted into the kitchen. She hoisted herself up on the breakfast counter once again, watching the male and female cook. Her eyes narrowed as she watched in fascination. Her eyes made contact with the male's for just a second. Kaden? Aiden? Ya, Aiden was his name. She vaguely remembered hearing him introduce himself. She sent him a soft smile and continued to watch the two cooks.

Her eyes flitted to the archway that led to the living room, and she saw a tall, muscled guy and a smaller girl staring up at something in the corner of the room. Her curiosity was pushing at her, and she wanted to go see what was going on. However she just watched, her eyes roaming up and down the tall male. Joseph... Was that his name? Adelina mentally smacked herself for not remembering. He looked... different. She could kind of tell what most of the people were here for, but he was unreadable. he was attractive and seemed as if he would be a hell of a lot of fun. However now wasn't the time, and Addie tried to focus back on the cooking in front of her.

Snapping out of his trance, Mason glanced around. His mind had drifted off, and now he wasn't quite sure what had happened. Two people had been beside him, a boy and girl, but he didn't remember. He felt bad, seeing as he tuned them out and they had probably attempted to talk with him. Oh well, things would work out. He hoped. The urge for drugs pushed at the corners of his brain, nearly driving him insane. And the amount of people around him didn't help. It kind of made him feel closed in. He stood up, eyes glancing at the others. They pretty much seemed absorbed in each other. For a brief moment he wondered where his sister was, but he decided it was probably best to get out of the house and rest his mind before he began worrying about her.

Slowly, Mason walked to the door. He zipped up his jacket, and turned around to face the others for a quick second. "Anyone up for a walk?" He asked a bit loudly, not expecting anyone to answer. He began to open the door, ever so slowly, in case someone did decide to join him. One foot was already out the door, dying to get out of the house.

AliceinZombieland 01-30-2011 04:21 AM

Motor nodded, still looking at the camera. He made a face, then grinned. He was such a little kid sometimes. "Wouldn't put it past my folks to sign me up for something. Might as well profit from this bullshit as much as they can. I can't even imagine what sending me to a place like this would cost." He rolled his shoulders, his muscles already tensed from milling around so much. He needed to go for a run or jump off a building or something. He was getting restless, but he focused on the conversation. He never turned away from a good conversation; in the circles he ran in, it was pretty hard to come by. Meatheads and daredevils don't tend to be the most intelligent people. He liked to think of himself as a rare exception.

He turned his head to the kitchen and took a deep breath in. Ooooooh, that smelled good. He could see Zeph and a guy working in the kitchen and a cute Asian girl squaring things away at the big table. His mouth watered a little bit thinking about food; it felt like ages since he last ate. He let out a laugh as his stomach gave a low rumble. "I'm inclined to agree with you there. Last thing I ate was hours ago, and I don't think fast food burgers really counts as 'food', y'know? We don't have much for nice sit down places though where I'm from. Where are you from, um...you know, I don't think I caught you name. I'm Motor. Or Joseph, if that floats your boat."

He glanced sideways to see Xylia still talking to the quiet young man, so he didn't feel too bad about holding conversation with this girl now. He didn't like leaving people hanging, but she seemed to be doing just find. 'Little social butterfly,' he thought with a grin. He heard the young man call out an invitation and he desperately wanted to take him up on it, but he had prior responsibilities to the lovely lady in front of him.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Zeph liked how they worked together. Aiden was good in the kitchen, no doubt, and he wasn't the domineering type. He had a good modesty, something she felt every chef needed. It wasn't about recognition, it was about making a good meal, and he seemed to be doing that just fine. As she started heating the noodles up, she heard the soft patter of small feet. She smiled as Addie came back into the room and hopped onto the free counter. She took a spoon of sauce and trotted over to her, careful not to drip anywhere. "You are just in time, Firecracker," she said with a grin, holding the spoon up in front of her lips. "You get to be my taste-tester," she explained with a wink, "and tell me how our Master Chef Aiden is doin, hm?"

She glanced sideways at the young man at the door and smiled, shaking her head in response before raising her voice a touch so he could hear her over the murmur of conversation and subtle clang and shuffle of cooking. "We'll call you in when dinner is ready, alright?"

Yue Eztilli 01-30-2011 07:01 PM

Rayn sighed as she finished setting the table, now she was bored. She looked back at the others in the living area, then shook her head, too many people. 'maybe I could go read a book?' She nodded and turned to go back to her room, but she then saw the boy she was talking to before, flinching as she remembered how rude she was be. He appeared to be putting on a jacket. Was she going outside. 'maybe we should try this again.' she nodded to her self, not finding it weird at all that she was talking to her self. She silently walked up to him, staying a foot away. "Sorry about before, If your going outside I wouldn't mind coming along..." She still had her jacket on from when she went out onto the balcony-porch thing.

((...oh Annebelle...did I scare you off?...))

"Firecracker, eh?" Addie asked, grinning. Her eyes sparkled and she laughed. "I like it," she added; she honestly liked the nickname. It described her pretty accurately. "Oh la la, aren't I special?" she replied and laughed again. She blushed at Zeph's wink. Why'd she blush? She liked boys, right? Adelina inwardly shrugged. She figured it didn't matter. She didn't have a problem with trying and liking new things, and she wasn't talking about the spaghetti. Plus, Zeph was an honestly gorgeous girl.

Adelina brushed off her weird thoughts and smiled, opening her mouth and slowly eating the sauce. She chewed and taste for a moment, letting the different flavors envelope tongue. She widened her eyes and licked away the little bit of sauce on the right corner of her mouth. "That's really good!" She exclaimed, nodding. She looked at Aiden and grinned. "Way better than my macaroni and cheese specialty," she teased and giggled.

"Thanks!" Mason called to Zeph and turned back to exit the house. He glanced around and saw the girl he had ran into, Rayn, approaching him. She seemed to stay a good foot away from him, but Mason brushed that off. "No problem, and awesome," he said, smiling at the fact that he would be joined on his walk. He opened the door wider and stepped aside to let her go ahead of him. In the short time Mason had known his father, he had always taught him to be a gentleman. Mason wouldn't forget that.

Mason adjusted the zipper on his jacket. Little things bothered him when he didn't have his usual drug or cigarette fix. He tried to shrug away the other thoughts, and focused on the present. Sometimes it helped, and other times it didn't. He looked back down, he was at least a head taller than Rayn, and smiled at her. He swept his arm out in front of them and towards the door in an "after you" gesture.

Hresvelgr 01-31-2011 01:42 AM

Xylia knew this would happen. Slowly she would be asked if she could get any stuff there. But sadly, no phones, no internet access. The only way they would be able to know is if the news found out. But they could only be so lucky. In the room she heard some of the others saying they could be on a show. Some sick and twisted show. Xylia highly doubted it since at least one of them had to be eighteen. And a parent could not sign them up automatically.

"I will just say, it is a very slim chance."
Xylia said. Looking down a bit. She was thinking to herself. Although if she said yes, then it would only get the boys hopes up. And hers too. Which would never be a good thing. "I'm sorry." She continued also. Drawing in a slow breath.

She glanced up to see Motor checking on her. Or checking her out. Either one. Whatever made him feel awkward. She shot him a small smile before turning back to Kalipso. Not daring to forget him.

"I dont think this entire experience has settled in just yet." Xylia said, being honest.

Yue Eztilli 01-31-2011 04:32 PM

Rayn watched as Mason walked to the door and opened it, giving a gesture for her to go first. She smirked a bit as she walked by him “Well don’t we have manners.” She waited for him to close the door before walking beside him, letting him lead were ever they were going, if anywhere. She was looked out at endless snow. “I wonder if anything is going to happen…no I mean when something is going to happen.” She laughed “We’re a group of teenagers left alone in a house in the middle of no where with only a camera to watch us, not to mention were have the sins of society corrupting us, something is defiantly going to happen, just a matter of what and when.” She blushed a bit and looked at him “Sorry I babble, when I’m nervous…a bit”

(bloke, anna is dealing with stuff. she should be back online soon)

Shifting his weight a little, arms crossing over his chest, Kalipso sighed. "It's fine.." Bitting his lip slightly, the boy leaned his slender frame against the doorframe closest to him. Standing was making him weak as it was. He didn't need to start showing signs of withdrawal this soon into being in this addict filled house. Of course, it would make him vulnerable looking and maybe he could be so lucky enough for someone to take advantage of his body. Quickly shaking that thought from his mind, he looked towards the kitchen, wondering when dinner would be ready. Then his mind wandered to the fact that Glyn was in there. Sure, he felt guilty flirting with others, but it wasn't like Glyn could really like a loser like him. Plus, Xylia was definitely not too far from his type. Gorgeous and slender in body, slightly cocky, yet definitely intelligent. PErfect. "Well, even if we were being taped, I would suggest we gave them a show."

Xylia took a minutes to listen to what was going on in the rest of the house. Someone was going for a walk. well a few people. Setting the table for dinner. Everyone for the most part seemed to loose interest in the camera. Well except for the conversation she was currently in.

"A show.." Xylia repeated. Her mind brought up the throwing the chair threw the window idea again. But they could also just throw a party. It would not be as fun without music, alcohol, or even drugs. But Xylia was sure she could build a make shift radio. She went to a very wealthy private school. Her forth grade science fair project, she build a radio. But only got a C on it.

"We should throw a wild house party."

((Beh! Short >.< Dont feel like a jerk! Sometimes I need to be reminded like that xD))

Dmitri Blair 02-01-2011 06:26 PM

"Wild house party? With what... Capri Sun?" Kalipso shook his head, hair shifting slightly in disapproval. He shrugged his shoulders. "Well.. most of us have ipods and shit like that, and I have a connector cord. If there is a stereo in this damned place, we can play music loudly and do some stupid shit.." He raised his voice slightly, hoping to get opinions from the others of the house. "What does everyone think? Have a crazy house party, even if it isn't as fun as it should be?"

The boy smiled, biting the inside of his lip nervously. Usually, he shied away from everything, but there was no way living in a house like this with a bunch of people like these. However, this was a situation he knew would ease the tension. After all, what better to make people relax a little than a party?
