Sam stirred a little and then started to come to, he raised his head and started to look around the room, but everything looked fuzzy and out-of-focus, "Dean? You there?"

Alexis opened up a window and peeked her head inside, seeing that nothing and no one was there she slowly climbed in. Being as silent as a cat and twice as alert, she had seen men get taken, and the tracks had led to here

Dean moaned as he came to, smacking his lips as he noticed the foul taste in his mouth.

"I taste pennies." he mumbled. "Did someone chloroform me?" He was grateful to feel his brothers back against his own, tied against a chair just as he was.

"What the hell happened?" Last thing he remembered was coming back to the Motel room. Sam had been knocked out and was on the floor when five people jumped him- but it had been too dark to see anything more than shapes.

The basement was filled with boxes, dust and darkness. The only thing there worth noticing was a giant iron cylinder that looked like a panic room. It was obvious the two brothers were in there.

Sam groaned a little bit, "I think we were jumped..." He started to struggle with the ropes, "Did you get a look at who... Or what it was?" He hadn't been able to see his attacker, for he had had his back turned to the attacker

Alexis could see the steel door and walked over to it, she pressed her ear against it to try and see if she could hear anything in the room

Alexis wouldn't have to look very hard to find a large rod, turned clockwise it would unlock the door and swing open slowly.

"Shh... I hear something." Dean said, going quiet to listen. Something was moving outside the iron room, he could hear the footsteps through the ventilation shaft on the floor.

Alexies slowly turned the door and watched as it cracked open, she slowly pushed it open and poked her head inside, "Hello? Is anyone here?" She whispered

"Who the hell are you?" Dean asked as he sat in the chair, still struggling against the ropes. He was hoping this chick was human and not one of those... things that jumped him and Sam.

It was dark and hard to see more than silhouettes, the only liight came from the slightly ajar door at the top of the stairs. At the given angles, luckily it provided them with enough light to see basic shapes.

However, dean could see something else now that the door was open. Something on the floor under the stairs. It was glowing gold, and it wasn't very big.

Alexis looked around a little more and then crouched down, slowly walking over to them.
Sam watched her closely, his eyes narrowed at her in suspicion.

Alexis looked at them,"I'm a hunter... I've come to rescue you.." She looked over and saw the gold thing, she raised her gun slightly and watched it, angling herself between the gold thing and Sam and Dean

"You?" Dean asked, not believing a word she said. When she started aiming a gun at the glowing thing he got annoyed. "Hey princess, if you're gonna rescue us, then do it while we're still young huh? Cut off these stupid ropes, we gotta get out of here."

Dean was already working to try and free himself and his brother, but the knife he pulled from his sleeve was hard to maneuver when his wrists were bound, and even if it wasn't he couldn't shake the feeling that his sawing at these weird ropes were just making the blade of the knife dull.

Alexis sighed and looked back at the hunter that had spoken to her, "Oh shut up." While keeping her eye on the glowing gold thing she brought out her knife and started to saw at the rope

Just like Deans knife, Alexis' knife would have no effect on the rope, and simply grow dull as if she were trying to saw through metal.

"It's not doing anything... why is it not doing anything?" Dean asked, mostly of Sam, college boy might know. For some reason though, despite where his gaze was, it kept going back to that weird golden glow.

Alexis sighed and tried to see what was wrong with the rope

Sam shuffled a little, "It must be bewitched... There's no knot, is there?" He asked hopefully.

Alexis was looking but could not find anything, then she stood and turned to face the glowing, "What the hell..." She walked over to it, hearing a protest from Sam but ignoring it, and she reached down to grab whatever it was

The knife seemed to be made out of solid gold, it's handle had beautiful Celtic knits carved on, and the center decoration was that of a sun made of Celtic knots.

It stopped glowing when she touched it, and when she decided to use it to the cut ropes, they would fall away as normal.

"Hey that's a neat trick. Lemme see it." Dean said. When he took it, the knife began to glow again. "Whoa..."

Sam quickly got up and looked at her, "Thank you.."
Alexis just nodded, "I suggest we get out of here now before whatever took you decides to come back." She could not tell what creatures they were and did not know if she was equipped for them

There was a thud above them as something big hit the floor. Something was thrown out a window and landed outside, blocking their means of escape. Now they would have to go upstairs.

"If this thing cut their fancy ropes, maybe it'll cut them?" Dean wondered aloud. "It's worth a shot right?"

The trio slowly made their way to the stairs, a commotion was going on upstairs, then silence followed by voices.

Alexis held her gun close and slowly made her way up the stairs, listening to the voices closely, she moved closer to the door and then stopped, just wanting to listen for a bit

"Come now captain, be reasonable." a sultry voice was saying. "Your crew is dead, you really have no other options. I'm offering to split the credit with you. I'll get my position back, and you'll get a nice promotion to Major. Everyone wins."

Sam would be able to see through a crack in the door between the hinges, in the kitchen five piles of grass, dirt and flowers were strewn about. In the middle of it, a woman with arrow-strait hair that reached down passed where she sat, was tied to a chair, green stuff all over her face. Behind her stood a fiery red-head with icy blue eyes and the curves of a porn-star, before the blonde stood a man with silver hair and long pointed ears.

"Fuck you!" a womans voice said spitting at his eye. The man wiped the saliva from under his right eye, and used that Sam hand to slap her across the face so hard the chair tipped and hit the ground.

"Very well then." the man said in a dark voice. "Rose, kill the boy, and seize the Winchester brothers." The red-head nodded and headed towards a cupboard, but just as she put her hand on the door- there was a blindingly bright light. Just like the spell that banished the angels, these strange creatures were gone as well once the light had dimmed and vanished.

From the cup-board, a small boy with a freckled face and curly brown hair emerged. No older than 10 or so, he clutched a stick of white chalk in his hand.

Alexis narrowed her eyes when she heard them talking, listening to them closely, was someone trying to sell the Winchesters? It wouldn't have been the first time it happened. She flinched when she heard the woman get smacked and held her gun tighter. Then there came a bright light and Alexis could hear that the man was gone, she now heard a child's voice

Sam continued to watch, waiting for the moment where they could all slip out and escape

It was Dean who approached the boy.

"Hey, what are you doing here?" he asked gently. What was this kid doing in a house full of monsters anyway? The boy took one look at him and bolted. "Hey wait!"
Dean tried to run after him, but it was like the kid just vanished into thin air once he got out of sight. If this kid would disappear like that, Dean would have to trust that he could take care of himself.

"Let's go before those freaks get back." he told the other two, heading outside to where his car, thankfully, was unharmed and waiting. The keys were even in the ignition!

Alexis ran out with them.
Sam turned back to her and smiled lightly, "Thank you for helping us back there.... Is there anything we can do to repay you?"
Alexis glanced at both of them, "I want to come with you."

Dean stopped.

"No." he said flatly. "We'll drop you off at your house or wherever you're staying, but you're not coming with us."

It was too dangerous, most hunters didn't even know that Angels existed, let alone how to deal with them. These new creatures were probably working for the angels, so how could they bring her with them without making her a target?

She glared at him and crossed her arms, "I don't have a house.... Or any home.... Plus I just helped you escape so that clearly proves some of my worth..." She was insulted, she felt like her pride had been attacked, "I'm as good as any male hunter out there..."

"Are you really making this a sexism thing?" Dean demanded. "Our mother was a hunter, and a damn good one, so don't think that is what this is about. We work alone, end of story. Now, you can let us drop you off somewhere, or you can stay here. It's your choice."
He couldn't stand the femmenazi type, sure he wasn't perfect when it came to sexist remarks or thoughts, but he never held someones gender against them. he knew it didn't affect hunting skills.

"No! I'm not trying to make this a sexism thing... Just let me prove that I got what it takes to fight alongside you guys.... At least give me the chance to show you." There was a small tone of desperation in her voice, like she needed to go with them.
Alexis had nowhere else to go, she didn't even have a car to go and hunt in anymore. It had broken down and she didn't have any money to get it fixed or too even fix it. She had considered stealing someone else's car but when it came down to it she figured that she would just get caught, so she walked to places. She had even walked to this place to help and rescue them.

Sam glanced at her then at his brother, why did this girl need to go with them so badly? He couldn't help but notice her slightly ratted out clothing and her tired expression. She looked like she had been wandering around for a while... He thought it would be a good decision to take her, she could prove to be useful.
