A world were demons walks among humans some to protect them, some to destory every last one of mankind. When there is demon there always demon-hunters.

Night has fallen, the town has gone quiet only few people roaming around the quiet town as most stayed home hiding for their life cause once the night fall the demons comes out to play and take life of innocent people. Ace was on his night watch as he jumped from one building to another with his black jacket hoodup covering his eyes as he scanned the town for any outbreak of demons.

Nalaria was out and about since night had fallen. She let out a small sigh as she twirled around out of complete boredom. Sure she was a demon and all, but she didn't cause destruction like the rest of her family. She stopped twirling and looked around. She had noticed that she had reached the center of town. She sighed and sat down on the edge of the fountain and began to hum a tune, closing her eyes in the process.

Ace stopped in mid-air for a moment as he heard new tune floating in the air, sounded soo nice unlike anything he heard before, he landed on the next building twirling in his feet to the direction the tune is coming from and headed toward the place. As he sat down on top of the building cross the fountain watching a girl he never have seen before at night sitting there playing with the water. Ace has forgotten his duty to look out for demons he sat on the roof listening to her.

Nalaria continued to hum her tune, but once she felt like she was being watched, she stopped. She looked around, but noticed no one roaming the streets. She then guided her eyes along the roofs of houses, and her gaze fell upon a blonde boy wearing a black jacket. She blinked a couple times before standing up, her two sets of wings tucked against her back. She then walked towards the building he was sitting on and looked up, her bright blue eyes practically glowing in the darkness. "Ello there," She said, her voice soft, yet having a demonic tone to it, "It seems as though you came across me humming my lullaby, eh?"

Ace was so into the tune like he was under some sort of spellbound he failed to noticed that she has noticed him and now standing right underneath him. As the humming stopped she shook his head looking down at her, his eyes watched her sparking bright blue eyes in the dark, he smiled at her and said "I, I guess I have.."he paused for a minute then continued "I was just practising when I heard the lullaby, it was nothing like anything I heard before. Its sounds soo soft and beautiful" he said as he dropped from the roof and landed on his feet next to her

Nalaria let out a small laugh. "That's cause I'm not human," She said, "Yet I'm also the only demon who doesn't cause destruction." She sighed and crossed her arms over her stomach, her gaze shifting over to the side. "And you're the first human that hasn't run from me," She said.

Ace blinked as he quickily glanced top to bottom scanning her noticing her wings hidden well behind her back and blended with the darkness, he smiled blinking once again his eyes meeting her eyes "Arh! I guess I failed to notice that as I was so under the melody of the lullaby you hummed" he smiled his eyes shifty through the empty spaces arounded them "I didnt run away cause I am not scared of demons" he tilted his head to aside and winked "I met so many in my life time, most of the time I had to destory them for the safety of humans" he paused.. "am.. am a demon hunter" he told her looking at her reaction to what he just said |

Nalaria blinked a couple times in surprise at what the boy said. "...demon... Hunter...." she said before falling silent for a few minutes. She let out a small sigh before looking at Ace again. "Kill me if you must," she said, "I guess as a princess I will either die at the hands of a hunter or die protecting my people." |

Ace smiled and shook his head "I might be demon hunter, but I dont do it for the fun of it.. I do it to keep this town safe, I only would kill or hurt a demon if the one cause trouble to the citizens of this town" he nodded and bowed "but as a princesses and a beautiful girl, I doubt you mean any harm to those in this village" he said closing his eyes slowly. "Unlike the rest of your family" he paused. |
Nalaria nodded, smiling softly. She let out a yawn, closing her eyes halfway. "Even though I roam at night," she said, "I'm always tired."

Ace smiled watching her "Been busy fighting us huh!" he said with a wink. "What ya doing out in this quiet night anyways" he asked her leaning his back againist the building's wall looking at her with his eyes half covered under his hoody.

"I already told you that I'm not like the other demons," Nalaria said, "So I don't fight. And this town is peaceful at night, so I thought I would be able to roam around."

"You might not be a bad demon but not all hunters are same as me, most fight for the joy, others for pride" he paused and looked around "If they notice you, you had to put up a fight" he smiled and looked up at the dark sky with tiny stars shattered cross it shinning bright as always, then he looked back at her "it is pretty quiet and nice at night isn't" he sighed staring into empty space.

"Well I'm able to change my appearance... But I just make my wings and horns disappear," she said, "and yeah... It is..." she turned around and sat down while staring up at the sky.

"So whats your true form then, ain't you demons human at first place just with abilities that human dont have right" he smiled slightly looking at the sky his arm crossed againist him.

"What I look like now is my true form," Nalaria said with a sigh, "not all demons are hundreds times my size and crush everything in their way."

Ace shook his head "No..Noo I didnt mean that, you just said you able to change my appearance" I looked at her "Was just curious" he looked back up at the sky sighing

"well I'd look the same as now, but without the wings or horns," she said as she made them disappear, "see?"

he nodded gently smiling at her "you are very pretty" he said quickly turning his eyes direction to the sky

Nalaria smiled. "oh yeah! My name is Nalaria," she said, "what's yours?"

He smiled at her "The name is Ace Strife, you can call me Ace" he looked at her and into a empty space where there were some foot steps were coming from.

Nalaria heard the footsteps as well. She stood up and backed up a bit to where she was literally pressed against Ace. She didn't know what was coming, so she was scared.

Ace stood againist the wall blended with the darkness in the area, he had Nalaria againist her close he could hear her heart beat, he quietly whispered in her ears "Can you get on top of this building without attracting much attention" his eyes were still concentrated on the area where the sound was getting closer and closer.
