( Stardust Shore ) http://www.marubeni.com/dbps_data/_m...ai_ph009_1.gif Its a paradise. Sun, sand, water, food. Everyone lives along the beach for the most part. And everyone is very relaxed. Maybe even too relaxed here. It is almost comical whenever you hear of a warrior coming from Stardust. Making them very neutral, but also a target for everyone else. They are said to have everything after all. ( Golden Cliffs ) http://www.canvaz.com/moran/moran-017.jpg Welcome to Golden Cliffs. The land here is very hot during the day, but gets very cold at night. As the name suggests, The cliffs are a golden color when the sun hits them just right. Beautiful, but very barren. Nothing grows here. Save for a few trees and bushes here and there. Now, there is something you need to know about the pack here. It is all one pack. But split up. There is a ruler of these lands. With those who oppose him. ( Arctic Planes ) http://www.roykruse.com/Snow-capped.jpg Here in the Arctic Planes is a very cold area. Although refreshing. There is snow everywhere, but can be melted into water. If you can find a dry piece of wood that is. Here there is another kingdom. The Queen here is a very kind woman. Young though. Very young. She has some of the strongest warriors her known to the clans. Now it is time to see if the chosen will save their lands and learn how to love again. PHP Code:

Aarti was walking threw some dieing fields. Loosing the energy to go on. Ever since her pack was killed by the monsters, keeping up with everything became such a hassle. She didn't give up though. Along the way she used a bit of power to bring the glass back to its rich golden color. She looked up to the sky, feeling the warmth of the sun on her back. She soon came upon a kill sight. There was blood everywhere, but no remnants of beast nor falling party. Aarti looked around carefully, seeing a castle in the distance. There was a tainted river in the castle up ahead also. Of at least something called her towards it. She could fix that for the people. (I was thinking of a way to bring everyone together. It wouldn't happen all at once, but there could be some sort of main city that is broken from fights breaking out in the center of all the territories. It is where the old ruler used to be and such.) |
Hunter ran faster and then faster then that. The black wolf behind him was fierce and overly aggressive - he surely did not belong in the Arctic Planes. Hunter was a much smaller wolf, his body was approximately one third the size of the average wolf. Which didn't help the fact this aggressor was already much larger then the average wolf.
Hunter was at an advantage though, frozen water was spotted ahead - and being so small made Hunter just as light. Other wolves had to be careful on the ice. Hunter ran faster, beast of a wolf snarling and biting and Hunters tail. Which he tried to keep close to his body. Now on the ice, Hunter had the advantage. He was much faster then the large wolf on ice. The large black wolf slid terribly and cold barely stand on the slick ice of the Arctic Planes. Hunter ran out to the other side - the middle of the ice pack was weakest - and was all that separated beastly jaws from Hunter's neck. The black wolf eventually managed to stand - stumbling over to the middle of the frozen waters. He reared his head back, breathing in deeply. Then, threw his head down quickly and opened up his small jaws. "Fire!" Hunter's child like voice echoed in the area. The flames surged from Hunters mouth, quickly forming into a ball of fire and taking its given projection. The black wolf clawed himself out of the way, narrowly avoiding the wicked flames. Though his efforts were made in vain. The ice melted quickly and thinned, it was almost nonexistent. It cracked violently and the large black wolf crashed through the ice, pawing at ice chunks to escape the frozen waters. His head sunk under, and Hunter seized his opportunity. Raising his right paw to his side, he brought it down on an angle. "Wind!" His childlike voice echoed once more, and vicious winds roared from behind the miniature wolf, carrying cold wind and freezing over the water. Hunter gave a little grin, proud of his manipulation of the elements. Though on a physically small scale, he believe to have more elemental control then any wolf in his pack. His actually abilities maybe fairly small but his wide variety of abilities make him extremely versatile. Hunter turned sharply, running off the ice. He wanted to return to the safety of his pack as soon as possible. ((I hope that is of acceptable length.)) |
Talitha ran quickly. She was scared. Some humans were chasing her down the street of a small city. She did not make any noise as she ran. She was rather quick for a human. People usually thought she was human at least until her transformation overtook her. Only during a full moon did it happen before she could control it. She could turn anytime she wished. She was one of the few werewolves who had that ability. Very few werewolves could control their transformations as well as she could.
"Stop thief" yelled the guards as she ran. She did not respond but continued running. Ducking into an alley she closed her eyes. Her hair grew shorter on her head but longer on the rest of her body. From her behind sprouted a long tail. Her ears formed on the top of her head and pointed. She opened her mouth towards the heavens and howled loudly. She stood on four paws. Pure white with green eyes. She was a wolf now. Lets see those guards try to hurt her. The guards entered the ally staring at the wolf with a frown. What was a wolf doing in the city? Wolves usually stayed out of the city. Well they could not risk it harming a human now could they? They drew their swords and approached the wolf. Howling some Talitha ran into the first guard knocking him to the ground with the full weight of her body. As she tore into his flesh with her teeth another guard decided to slash her shoulder with his sword cutting it to the bone. She growled in anger and turned towards him ripping his arm open with one bite. He gasped running from her. The other guards joined suit. Talitha frowned at the wound on her shoulder and turning began to lick it. It hurt pretty bad. She morphed back to her human form and looked around. She needed to get her arm looked at. She wiped the blood from her face and then holding her torn flesh headed into town. She looked around for someone who would help her. |
Rain sighed as she watched the wave crash ageist the shore, the sun light making the sprinkle twinkle just a bit before they fell down to the moist sand. She leaned her head back against the grayish brown rocks that made up her home. The cliffs sang their own tune as the wind flowed their different places, the beet of it was soft and light. She closed her eyes and began to sing softly as not to alert anyone father then the beach. And those near the shore would think it was just The White Ghost of The Bluff, talk about shunning. It was a song her adoptive mother use to sing before the spell wore off.
"Gone be thy cloudy sky Quite your rumbling Cease your rain Let my kit slumber in silence Running in the sweet grasslands of youthful dreams made of peaceful games and their long awaited adventures Oh gods of thunder hear my plea silence your mighty clashing if only for the night Sleep my kits theirs nothing to fear the sky beats are leaving see the flea Gone be thy cloudy sky quiet your rumbling cease your rain Let my kits slumber in silence running in sweet grasslands of youthful dreams" She let the last note hang in the air for a moment before sighing, to day will be another long day. ((I wrote that song in english class awhile ago, so i know it's weird and makes no sence)) |
Blade flashed his eyes as he quickly brought down another monster. He morphed into his human form in a quick movement pulling out his sword and finishing the beast taking the head clear off. He picked it up as he slung the blood from his blade and returned it to his side. He let the others fight over the monsters corps. It was always the same you killed one and everyone tried to fight till the death over the body for goods and the bragging right. Blade had long gave up on all the fighting and claiming the corps. It wasn't wroth the pain and aguring that came with it. He had promised the king the monsters head after it had killed one of his prized pets. Thats all he cared about and all he needed.
Blade soon found himself back in the compnay of the king and his court as he presented the head taking a bow as he did so in respect as always. "My king your head." He said as he held it out for him. He let his arms fall to his side as he heard the the king rejoice and praise him. He waited till the king was done and released him before rising and leaving the king and his court in a merry mood for once. He walked in the darkness of the ally ways as he made his way to his favorite inn. He was half way there when he found himself being crowded by a group of guards talking about some strange women that had wondered into the city. He let out a breath as he closed his eyes as he found his ears being raped by them and their unwanted words. He walked pasted them as he followed the small crowd of people that seemed to be following the strange girl. Blade kept his distance at first as he watched her then approached her as he gave her a warm smile. "Welcome, I am Blade. I take it you are new here. Come you must be tired and hungry lets get you room and board for the night." He said as he knew the wicked things some of the guards would do to the poor girl if he didn't take her under his wing rather quickly. Frost watched the little wolf as she shook her head. She stood not far from the wolf as he played with his power. She liked him she had to admit he was fun to watch and she loved how he played up his strengths. She kept silent as she watched not wanting to ruin his fun. She turned as she headed deeper into the snowy plains blending in as she summoned a quick snow storm that made it as if she had never been there the way she liked it and the way she wonted to keep it. |
Gabe was out on the boat in the middle of the Ocean. He had a fishing line in the water, and had his feet over the side of the boat. Relaxing a bit while he got some food. He never had to catch much, mainly just enough for himself, and maybe a few elders in town who were far too old to fish. He got a tug at the line, and quickly reeled in his seventh fish. Putting it inside of the bucket with the other fish. Gabe then started to go back to land. Rowing harshly until he reached the shore. |
Hunter slowed down up ahead, he tried to rest a little before meeting up with his pack. The elder wolves tended to get angry with him if he were to go out on his own. Especially when there was no reason to do such a thing. Which, again, was the case. Hunter just went for a run around the territory, which turned into curious exploration. Then of course, that beast starting chasing him. Which had, when Hunter thought of it, chased him a ridiculously long distance. Thankfully though, it seemed to be a rogue wolf and not of another well known pack. A large scale battle between wolves was not fun at all - Hunter cold fight, heal, and do so many things if the situation was right. Still. Taking the life of another creature was not something he took lightly. He still felt bad he had done such a thing to that beast. Though he understood it was something he must do.
Hunter turned his head in the direction of the pack, not a bad distance - but running in zig zag formation at full speed was horribly exhausting. Hunter let his tired body rest in the snow. The big wolves did not understand. He was as fast as they were. Still, they did not think. At a third the size of his comrades, Hunter had to push his body incredibly hard and run all the time to remain fast. His smaller steps needed to be made faster, or the pack would be injured by his membership in the party. Just moments of relaxing in the snow did Hunter feel refreshed. Still, his legs were tired. He wished he had brought a companion. Hunter was bigger then a pup, but small enough he could be carried by a strong wolf none the less. Hunter pulled himself onto his legs, throwing his white head into the air, he unleashed the beautiful call only an Arctic Plane wolf knew. The most beautiful call in Hunters opinion. Though, admittedly a bias one. Hunter let himself slide beneath a blanket of snow, he would relax a little while longer. If no other wolves returned his call, or came to help. He would, of course, get himself home. "I shouldn't have gone so far..." Hunter pulled his paws over his head, very human like. Which made sense for his human form. That day Hunter had gone twice as far as he ever had, nearly leaving his packs territory. The elders were going to be extremely displeased with him. |
[COLOR="Silver"]Rayn was released from her day dreaming when she heard the voice of Gabe, the only one who knew about her. She quickly hopped down a steep incline so she was at the base of the cliff, She smiled at him.
"Sorry Gabe, but you know I can't.." She looked over the water, then back at him. She never really questioned why he was nice to her, she figured he just didn't know, seeing as he was a year young, the people probably figured he knew so didn't tell him. "But if you get bored working, I'll be here or in the woods so visit me...okay?"[/COLOR |
Frost shifted into her wolf form as she kept tabs on the wolf in her Artic plans. This was her home her hunting grounds. She let out a breath and a snort of shorts as she peered from the snow not that far from the wolf. She stared him down her body ready to deliver it's lethal attack if it was asked to. She kept her ground as she stood there tall and proud. She was not near as big as a male in either of her form but she was faster in both.
She kept her eyes glued to him as the withe blanket separated them offering no coverage for either to hide in or behind. Her eyes stared back emotionless as she tried to deiced if he was worth the time and what to do with him. Abruptly she turned leaving him there as she moved quickly heading deeper in to the plans. The small village was not that far from where they where and if he found his way there he could live if not he could die. She had more important things to worry about at the time. Food was scares on the plans and with the monsters appearing in number now it was getting harder to hunt unless you wanted monster then that was plentiful. |
Hunter opened his tired eyes. He had fallen asleep on the Arctic Planes - an extremely dangerous thing to do. Though, he was very well rested now. He jumped up out of the snow and shook his body, he had his eyes searching the planes for any disturbances. While sleeping he felt the presence of another. Though, that presence could have been a bird over head or a hare, anything with a pulse. Sometimes even nature. Aether was not the most picky or informative of the senses. If included in the sense, which Hunter was sure it was not. Much to rare.
Shaking his head and letting out a small yawn, Hunter sprinted off in the direction of his pack. The small village. It was, surprisingly, home to some great warriors or ones with stories. Or urban legends. Regardless, Hunter just ran. He was very mindful of his surroundings, careful not to run into a trap. He just wanted to get home. ____ Some time later, Hunter had arrived. He sensed so many things with Aether on the run home. He tried to be extra careful, and Aether is a better sensor then sight. Though, sight is much more informative and detailed. Still. Hunter scampered his way to the food he had stocked up, which consisted of a pound of frozen meat. He opened his mouth an spewed small flames onto the meat. "Fire!" Hunters child like voice echoed in the village. It was, again, small and it's isolation made it susceptible to echoes. Which in turn made it easier to defend. The fire was much smaller, it was more like small embers spewing from Hunter's mouth. Thawing the meat quickly. Instantly hunter swallowed it down. The last of his rations. Turning on his heels he ran into the large, muscular chest of another wolf. An elder. The scolding lasted forever. Though, Hunter did manage to get away. He ran around the village, bright eyed and excited. It made him seem so childish, which probably did not couple together well with his miniature being. He did always have a hard time explaining he was not a cub. Probably something to get use to. As Hunter did seem to be done growing. |
Frost shifted back into her human form as she held out her hand Thick walls of ice appeared around the strange wolf she had saw as the others came and stared at the one she had caught. She moved closer and walked around her ice box she had created from him and smiled as it began to fill with water. She peered deep with in it letting him see her eyes and grins as she turned heading back out the way she came. She waited till the water was almost up the the top to kill him and let the ice walls fall the water escaping and then vanishing as if it had never been there. "Let him be." She said as she headed out her sword now in hand as she felt a Monster near witch would mean food for some time and one less she would have to worry about.
She had no need to kill the wolf yet but she could not have it getting in trouble and making it worse on the plans. "Come you are with me Pup." She said her voice as cold as ice making the others step back from the wolf. "If you are hungry then come." She said giving him her last invite before she left him for them to punish. |
Hunter perked his head, looking at the wolf. He knew it had been Frost. A relentless killing machine. He would, again, get in trouble for following a wolf that was fighting on behalf of the clan. Not that fighting for the clan is wrong - the elder wolves still thought Hunter was too naive for combat.
"I'm no pup." Hunter ran faster to catch up with Frost, keeping pace by her side. No matter how difficult. "I'm a big wolf you know." Hunter smiled, bearing his little wolf teeth. Still pearly white, almost never used. Except eating already hunted food. "You are Frost right. And you fight lots right?" Hunter sped up, cutting Frost off. Hunter just stared at her. "Are we going to make those big black wolves go away? Where are they from?" Hunter cocked his head to the side. He was very curious and inquisitive. "I can help you." Hunter moved out of her way, he did not want to be seen a pest. But, this was his chance to be helpful to not just one wolf. But the pack. Frost is suppose to be cool! She keeps the pack safe when she can. Which is at every chance she gets. Hunter went back to staying by her side, looking up to such a large wolf. Nearly three times bigger then himself. "The elder wolf said that you fight the bad guys all the time. And that you're really strong!" Hunter hopped up and down, he loved being able to talk to the real soldiers of the pack. The warriors. "Is it true? Do you think i can be strong too!" Hunter ran under her, to her other side. He watched as to where they were going, not too sure. But certainly felt safer then when he goes off on his own. Frost was like, an urban legend. Hunter got to help her, she asked him too. He felt useful, or almost useful. He had to prove he could be strong and reliable like all the other big wolves. Time to prove he was an adult too. Capable of keeping the Arctic Planes safe. Not just healing on the back lines, he wanted to be a hero and everything. Like the ones the elders tell the pups about. He knew he was inexperienced, annoying when he had lots of questions, but he could learn to be different. He would be more like Frost. Strong and helpful. |
Frost let him go about his antics as her eyes kept on the monsters. She walked clam and normal not allowing his speech to persuade her from her mission. "Words have no meaning if you do not understand them. If there is no meaning to a word how can their be a word? To fight is a choice that one must make. You must fight for a reason what is your reason? If you have no reason then you do not fight you are only a coward. To be small is to be victor. The opponent will look at your disadvantage as a aromatic lose. Instead of thinking with your lack of size you gain speed witch will lead to his end." She said as her eyes cut to him. In once quick movement her sword cut off the head of one of the monsters the body falling at her feet. A wicked grin rose on her lips as she turned and saw the other four that had come to join the party. "Come dear Hunter lets play lets teach them why size isn't every thing." She said as she laughed twirling her sword about her as she approached one of the other monsters. She just smiled as the monster let out a roar and lunged at her. She grind as she leaped in the air landing behind it turning quickly and delivering deadly slashes about the monster making it fall to the ground and shadering into pieces. Her eyes glowing a blue as her sword turned the same color steam appearing around it as she shifted her eyes to the other monsters. "Come now boys...do we not like ice? I think you need to liven up a bit why so serious don't like it when your prey attacks back do you? Oh we're just getting started."
Her eyes cut to Hunter as she grind slightly her eyes still glowing as well as her blade. "I didn't make a mistake in choosing you. You are like me a underdog. It's time you learn how to use those powers and have some fun doing it. Don't let the others tell you what you are. You decide what you are. I am a weak useless female that is all I ever heard as a child. Beautiful but weak to small for any use. No mate could I make do to my size only a painter or singer would they have me. I had enough one day and picked up this sword after I killed the commander and the other men that had chose to mock me I went after the monsters. And here I am today...no men tell me what I am I tell them what I am I tell them what to do I tell them what is what." She said as she cut her eyes from him and chose her monster. "Tell them who you are make them lessen. Become who you want to be not who they say you are." |
