Zahhy had found her way to the bottom of the pool, but there wasn't much to see except a few stray coins and a lost bath sandal or two. She surfaced and took in greedy gulps of air, then wiggled to the edge of the bath to pull herself up and dress for the day's training. She quickly dried herself with a towel, scrunching her hair underneah it to take out most of the moisture, and dressed in the clean training tunic that she'd brought.
After exiting the bath house, she traveled in to the dining hall, she'd passed Aristos and Jerik on her way to the bath house, but she didn't say much considering her exhausted state. The water seemed to have rejuvnated her spirits, so she traveled back to find them and apologize for her rudeness earlier. "Hello and good morning boys!" She called to them at their usual table before jogging up to them. Her hair was still mostly wet, with a few stray whisps that seemed to dry quicker than the others. "I'm sorry for my rudeness earlier," She said with an appologetic bow, "but I fell asleep in the garden last night due to some very mischevous rose bushes, and as you could imagine, I was a bit grumpy when I woke up." When she straightened herself she was smiling, excited for the day's training and whatever else would come her way. "I was hoping to take Aristos up on his offer to teach me archery. I'd never tried before, so it might be something that I could possibly be good at. Of course, if you have other plans today I don't mind, It's not like my life depends on it," She laughed again and turned to Thay, "Well hello, I don't believe we've met. My name is Zahhy Ruzelle. I'm from Chalcedon. May I ask your name?" |
Ambrose looked up after finishing his shooting of arrows. He was covered in a small bit of sweat and he sighed. Slipping down off the horse he sighed. Anthy sat down next to him with a neigh. The blonde leaned his back against the tree and looked up at the sky. When his amber eyes looked up he saw he noticed a female surveying the training ground {Wicked}. He thought he recognized her and wondered if he had never seen her before. Shaking his head he ran a hand threw his blonde hair and did his best to dismiss it.
*** Acacia smiled back at Drayk. When he said that Nik was in the heroes area she looked panicked for a second. Then the blonde's look faded once he said that he was actually doing okay. She hoped he was not interacting with her brother. The snot would surely figure something out because he was such a brat. At the look in Drayk's eyes she gave him a reassuring smile. She didn't want to say something to him because she was concerned of what the other villains would think if he was worried. The amber eyed female would have liked to been at the heroes camp sneaking around, but when her brother spotted her it would surely be over. He would have to make a seen at that point in time. Acacia stepped up towards where Drayk was standing and stood near him. "So what is he doing?" she questioned. |
(( Ascadellia: kionaredhawk: Vanth: Lady Chello: Dmitri Blair: Marsyas: and Smores: Please post? o: ))
Drayk grinned. "Well from the looks of it he's flirting with one of the girls. The one that fought Tyler." He said, running a hand threw his brown hair. "Where are the other Villains? Their taking forever to get to the meeting room.." He said, kind of in a ticked off tone. He was in the mood to train or have some fun with the heroes. ((Sorry it's short, I don't have much to post at the minute xD)) |
Smiling, Nikolas tried to hold back the brash comment, but nevertheless, spurt it out before he could control himself. "I'm not much of an artist, but then again, you aren't much to look at." He winked, not really regretting saying it. Removing his thin shirt, his toned body revealed, the demi-God's skin nearly glowed in the sunlight. "I am indeed here to help train the heroes to be. My name is Nikolas, and yours would be... Megara?" He smiled, teeth glistening, having remembered her name was not something he thought would happen, but he was glad he could. After all, get on her good side.
|
(sorry! got busy >.<)
Thay smiled. "I haven't met her but I think I'll keep a look out for her. Thank you. So you said your leaving after your done eating? If it's alright, I can meet you somewhere since the two of you still have to eat. I need to get some running in, type of thing. Oh, what does Zahhy look like? So I can talk to her when I see her and such." Normally, she didn't talk this much to anybody, really, but Aristos had a weird effect on her. Not that she was interested in him or anything like that. No, not at all. Just that she felt like she could talk. It was an odd feeling for her. Thay started to grin when the girl introduced herself. It turned out the spacey girl that she had fun watching was the same girl Aristos had been talking about. "Of course! My names Thathearian. You can call me Thay however. My full name can be a mouthful. We were actually just talking about you. I had asked about Aristos running and he told me that you run." |
Megara raised an eyebrow at the boy, his comment making her think twice on whether to be nice to this person. "Yeah.. that's why I just told you my name was Megara a few seconds ago.." She said, rolling her eyes and watching as he showed off his muscles. "Um.. I think i'll just train with someone else.." She said softly, brushing her bangs out of her eyes and looked around for someone to train with. Sort of praying that Jerik or Ambrose would pop up so she could go and talk with them. "You can always train with Zahhy, She did think you were cute." She said, looking around him for someone she knew.
|
Jerik had just finished his food and put the tray away. He came up behind Aristos and clapped him on the the back. "Whelp, I'm going to head outside while you continue to talk to this pretty lady." He winks at her. "Just come find me when your done. I'll probably be around some other pretty ladies."
Without waiting for a reply, Jerik headed outside, hoping to find Megara. He was thinking that since Ars invited that other girl along for their joint to the town, he would see if she wanted to go too. It would make it more interesting, he thought anyway. He looked around, remembering that she was likely training. He found her talking to a shirtless guy that was obviously a demigod. He almost growled but caught himself. There was no reason for him to be, what, jealous? He couldn't tell what he was feeling. Putting on his famous ladies grin, he walked over to the two. "Hello. Am I interrupting anything?" Thay's mouth feel open when the boy winked at her. Then she clamped it shut, anger glinting in her very dark eyes. "That was...interesting." |
"What? Can't take a little joking criticism? Listen, if you can't handle something like that, don't expect to be looked at as a hero. Everyone gets made fun of in the beginning. You just gotta hold your head high and not avoid the situation. Prove to me that you are a hero and maybe I will be a little nicer." He looked at her, up and down, and then shook his head. "Or, you can give up now, and I can go with with anyone else." He shrugged his shoulders, getting ready to turn around and not bother with her. If that was what she really wanted, he would give it to her. It just meant he found a weak point.
That was when someone approached from somewhere else. Clearly, the boy realized Nikolas for what he was. "Yes. I am obviously in the middle of a conversation with her. But it doesn't matter. She doesn't feel up to training with me." He smiled, tilting his head. |
Megara smiled when she saw Jerik. She knew Nikolas was a demigod and so far all the demigods were villains. " I can take the criticism. I always have, just I didn't want to be rude to someone I just met so I was going to do what you just said.. 'Avoid the Situation'". She smirked. "Eh, I may not look like much to you but others think completely differently." She said, biting her lip when he was a little mean to Jerik. "Hello Jerik, And no you aren't interupting anything.. " She said, walking over by Jerik and then put her attention back on Nikolas for a moment. "Now that I think of it I'm pretty sure that last time I checked the only demigods accounted for that weren't villains were two girls that live in Sparta." She said softly, eying him. "So unless your a girl from Sparta.. you don't belong here. "Prove to you i'm a hero eh? One, I'm a hero in training because unlike you I was born without powers and had to fight on my own, not with the help of my god and goddess mommy or daddy." She muttered since she though Demigods had it pretty easy. She looked back at Jerik. "Want to go talk somewhere else?"
|
Jerik raised an eyebrow. "I'm sorry I interrupted." He looked at Megara. "I'm fine with that. I was just coming to talk to you about something anyway, so that works fine with me." He offered his arm to her, think that maybe she'd take it. What she had said about demi-gods was true, to the best of his knowledge. So he decided to keep an eye on the man while they walked away, just in case he tried anything funny.
|
Shaking his head, he wanted to show the girl what he could do, crush her into pieces and let her crumble, but it was not likely going to happen. "You think demi gods have it so easy? You think that powers are what make them strong? Let me tell you a little fact. Most of the demi gods stuck here on this Gods forsaken planet have to train about as hard as you think you do, powers or not." He gripped his hands into fists. This insolent girl knew nothing, after all, and therefor ran her mouth. "I never got to really know my father. He didn't do nearly anything for me my whole life. You think having powers makes me strong? No. My own training and hard work did. My powers do nothing. I can't do hand to hand combat with gifts, I have my own strength from years of training." He turned to the boy about to leave. "Take her. She and her misconceptions, you can take them. I'll train with someone and maybe someone will appreciate that I just want to make it there too."
|
Jerik actually laughed. He couldn't help it, it was funny. "Sa, sorry. I didn't mean to laugh. Its just that, the two of you, it's funny from my point of view. So sorry." Then he sobered a bit. "In her defense though, your under misconceptions as well. We all are. But by voicing them, we learn a little more, don't we? So don't get angry at her just because she doesn't know you or anything about you. I'm sorry, but we're kinda late for something, actually. Excuse us." He took Megaras arm without waiting for her to take his and steered her away from the angry demi-god. "You get in weird trouble a lot, dont you?" He whispered to her.
|
Megara grinned slightly. "Is it bad to say that this does happen a lot? I just have this weird thing where trouble always comes my way.." She said, thinking it was funny how he had laughed. She did hope that Nikolas would eventually get to be with his father.. but it's not like she could help him get there"Goodbye Nikolas, I'm sorry for being rude.. and I hope that you get to be with your father someday." She was better off not saying anything mean since all demigods had pretty bad lives, but after meeting Tyler she had a new out look on Demigods. She had taken Jerik's arm and was following after him. "Whenever I'm alone with someone or just by myself something bad always happens." She said slyly. "Sorry if that makes you not want to be around me at times.." She said, then once they were out of view from Nikolas she smiled. "Thanks for getting me out of the situation though.. "
|
Jerik smiles at her. "Anytime. Your better off if your with someone though. And someone who can help out as well. So it looks like you'll just have to stick by me, doesn't it? I was coming to ask if you wanted to accompany me, Aristos, and another girl on an outing to the nearby town anyway. I arrived at the right time it seems. So, I'm not going to ask you to come, I'm just going to take you. Hope you don't mind a little time off from your training." He flashes his grin at her, eyes twinkling with mischief.
|
She smirked. "Then I guess i'll have to be with you.." She said, liking the idea of being with Jerik. " So let me get this strait.. I'm a hero that needs a hero?" She laughed. "Kind of sad.. but i'd love to see the town anyways." She said, blushing slightly from his look so she looked away. "Oooh, whose the other girl?" She asked, wondering if it was someone she knew or just a random girl. She then remembered she was pretty much only wearing a towel over her swimsuit. "Umm, can we make a stop by my room so I can get dressed?" She asked, knowing that sounded odd so she grinned.
|
Jerik nodded. "Just lead the way." He was, of course, still smiling. "You dont' need a hero, just somebody to help back you up like you would for them. You know, like teamwork. And I don't know who the girl is. Never caught her name, though I've seen her around. Has a nasty accuracy with a whip. She's darker then the rest of us, I think she might be foreign. Dark hair, almost black eyes that are slanted in a way, always has her hair in a braid, cute smile, dark skin. She's shorter then most of us too, which makes her scarier, in my opinion, when she's wielding the whip." He shudders mockingly. "Anyway, where's your room at?"
|
She listened to him describe the girl and felt a flicker of jelousy as she led him threw the doors of the building and up to the second floor. "Oh, my rooms number twenty three." She said, then led him until they were in front of her room. "Teamwork sounds like a good plan." She said, letting go of his arm. "Maybe it would keep me out of trouble for a little while.." She smirked. "I'll go get changed real quick." She said, walking into her room and shutting the door. She went over to the mirror and saw that her face was still red. "Ugh.. not again.." She muttered, putting her hand on her forehead. She then started scanning the clothes in her closet until pulling out a nice outfit to wear in town. It was a blue dress that went to her ankles, but only had one strap on the left and no sleeves. She then looked at herself in the mirror again, running a hand threw her now dry hair and looking at her medallion before walking back out to Jerik. "Done." She said, taking his arm again. Her dress was pretty soft since she had made this dress back home before coming here and had put a lot of effort into making it comfortable.
|
Ambrose looked back down at his hands. He swore he knew the woman on the edge of the camp. It was possible that she was a villain, but it was possible he had just seen her around. Looking towards his left he saw Megara walking with another boy. She sure seemed to be rather popular with the gents. Shrugging he hummed quietly to himself as he leaned against the tree. He figured he should get up soon and start again, but he was enjoying his break right now.
*** The blonde chuckled when she saw the sight of Nik flirting with the girl from last night. She shook her head and shrugged. "I guess that is one way to get things done," she said softly. As she leaned by Drayk she could see that Nik's plan seemed to be failing. "Well it certainly seems like no one has heard you," she muttered quietly. Acacia ran a hand threw her hair and watched as the girl then walked away from Nik. "Doesn't look like he's doing so well," she muttered softly. |
Megara led Jerik back downstairs and outside since she was dressed and noticed Ambrose. She led Jerik over and looked at Ambrose. "I'm going to town today so how about we spar tonight or tomorrow? I'm really sorry i'm missing out on our sparring.. so hopefully your not mad at me?" She asked, feeling slightly bad. She was still holding Jerik's arm so she wouldn't be rude.
Ace smirked. "Well, he's not really one with the ladies.." He grinned. He noticed Megara walk off with Jerik, then return to say something to Ambrose since he now had the fates eye showing her. " I'm guessing Megara has a thing for Jerik, so that's a weakness." He said, marking it down in an old scroll with blood and a feather. "Now we just need to know the other's weakness's." |
(SORRY VANTH!!!! I edited my last post with Thay to reply to yours. I can't believe I totally missed that. Sorry!)
Jerik smiles again, of course. He waits for Katie outside of her door, leaning against the wall, arms crossed. It was a comfortable position. His thoughts started to wander and he ended up thinking about what was taking her so long which in turn lead him to think about the fact that she was changing. His face grew a little red before he got his thoughts under control just in time for Megara to walk back out. His face turned into a grin when he saw her. "You look good in blue." He offers his arm again. "I bet they're still in the dining hall, so lets head that way." |
Megara waved goodbye to Ambrose. "See ya." She said, then started to walk up the building steps and then into the main room. "Really?"She asked, looking at Jerik. "Well thank you.. I just like the color blue so I put it on." She said, walking into the the dining room and noticed Aristos and the girl Jerik described. "So where are you from?" She asked, realizing she hadn't asked that before. She ran her hand threw her hair and looked towards Aristos and the girl before looking back at Jerik.
|
At the sound of a voice he was surprised to see Megara standing in front of him. His amber colored eyes first noticed the linking of arms between her and the other boy. So she's skipping out on sparing with me to go on a date? That's certainly going to make her a hero quickly. Then again maybe that's something wrong with me... I'm just no good at talking with girls, he thought to himself. Ambrose shook his head and waved his hand. He didn't say a word since it was usually better like that for him. Sighing he leaned his head back against a tree. He wondered how his father made it out so well with girls and he failed. Maybe his sister got that trait as well.
*** Acacia shrugged and pursed her lips. It seemed Nik was certainly not as smooth as Drayk, then again, she wondered who could be. "That is a really good weakness. We can certainly use that against them," she stated softly. As she looked at the Fate's Eye her eyes glanced sideways at Drayk. She wondered what else was going on in his mind. The blonde was curious to know what he thought of her, but she figured there would be another time for that. "It shouldn't be too hard... How does this thing work?" she questioned. |
Zahhy smiled at Thay, "yeah, It's pretty much the only thing I'm good at. Which is why I was hoping to learn archery. Do you know anyone else besides Aristos that could maybe help me?" She spaced out again, imagining herself trying to shoot an arrow. The thought wasn't pleasant because in it, she shot a bird on accident and was scolded by the gods by being pooped on by several other birds, then struck by lightning. Though it seemed a bit much, the thought still made her shudder
|
"Well.. my father has the fates in prison deep in the ocean but in order to tell the past, present, and future he took their eye. All three of the fates shared the same eye and could tell Hades everything about his success. So he gave it to me for this. All I have to do is say a person's name, then say past, present, or future. So far i've only learned about Megara though. Mostly since Hades went to kill her boyfriend for stealing from a shrine to the gods so she begged Hades for him to be able to live the rest of his life, Hades made the deal as long as when she died he could have her soul. A week later her love ran off with another woman and left Greece since he was supposed to get married to her for money and land purposes. And the only reason she want's to be a hero is because she would be immortal if she lived on mount Olympus. Thus, escaping having her soul be Hades since he would probably bring her back to life and use her like me.." He said, eying her. She was beautiful.. but he wasn't really the type of guy to show emotions. So that was his downfall.
|
The blonde listened as Drayk spoke. They certainly had quite a bit of dirt on this girl. She blinked as her eyes looked at the eye that showed the images before them. Acacia looked towards him as his story began to draw to an end. "Well we certainly seem to have her weaknesses," she answered softly with a shrug. Her amber eyes went to the other eye and she wondered what her blonde brother was up to. She saw him for a brief moment in the eye as Megara abandoned him, but he was most likely just sitting to himself. The blonde thought about bringing up Ambrose's name, but if they investigated his past they would potentially see her. If they went back far enough. "Once we learn then names of the other heroes we will certainly be ahead," she stated with a sly grin.
