Virtual Heroes: TSXZT [Open & Accepting]

What started out as a boring afternoon would soon turn into a life changing event for a select group of people. If being sucked into a game wasn't bad enough, then the health bar would surely push someone over the edge. In other words, whatever happened in the game would affect you in real life. So if you were to die in the game... you would die in real life. Had you not fallen asleep playing the game, things might be different. Trying to wake yourself from the nightmare, you find this all to be a futile attempt. You're actually stuck in the game. Seeing as you've played the game before, you know what to avoid and how to beat the game, but it makes it all the more challenging when you can't be KOed. Seeking out help, you discover that your electronic device can allow you to warp between fourteen different virtual worlds. It is also disclosed to you that there are other people lost in the virtual world who might need your help. Some of the game characters have offered you assistance and are more than willing to help run off to save their virtual world. But little do you know, that failing to save their world will doom Earth. You have to win. Should you hit game over, both worlds end. Dying is not an option. You are our only hope. Try to survive and help the others save our world. There is zero tolerance for failure. You have to beat all fourteen games as well as unlock certain aspects which will allow you to return home, that is, once you've completed your ultimate mission. Time splitting isn't easy when there is zero tolerance for error. You're a virtual hero with a set life bar. Level, survive, make friends, and save the world. We all depend on your strength and bravery. |
The world is but a cruel place, but that shouldn't be so. In an attempt to escape life, you tinker with an electronic device of your adoration. Before you know it, you're body is virtualized and you are now living on a strange planet. Humans, or at least you think they are humans, exist here. However, the more you wander about, the faster you realize this isn't any ordinary world. In fact, you're in a game. Using your electronic device, you can warp between fourteen different worlds. But things are a little more complicated than that. You've got a health bar and once that depletes, you're dead. Seeking help from the various helping actions in the game, you discover that it's up to you to save the virtual world. You can play up to three characters. **You can play any combination of humans or game characters, but you have to have at least one human.** Only seven people will be excepted. If the accepted people fail to post in a timely manner or kill their character off, their spot is up for grabs. Use the OOC Thread for outside chat. Tell me when you're going to be inactive. You get up to three strikes before I ask you to leave. There are 14 difference games that a character can move between. Some games might have legit characters (let's use Cloud from FFVII) that might offer you assistance. So if you were to run into Cloud, he could help you fight the bosses and such. Other games only have the annoying pop-up helper tools. If you're playing a game characters, try to say as close to the character's actual personality as possible. You can make up some things, but for the most part, Cloud should not be a drug dealer that goes around killing children. It's just not Cloud. Anywhere in a game is free range. If you're in Pokemon SoulSilver, you can wander about any of the maps and towns. You don't just stay in one town; the entire PokePlanet is open to explore. You play as yourself. Instead of going through a screen to make or select a character, you are your own character. So if you're in Pokemon SoulSilver, you don't get to be the girl (or guy). You get to be yourself dressed in your own outfit. When you die, you're dead. Unless you're in Final Fantasy or something like that, when you die, you die. You cannot come back from the dead UNLESS that is a part of the game's core concept. All characters from the game are playable. Should you need to move along, feel free to play the characters from the game. Note: Only the "starter" for the game is allowed to play the characters. So, since I picked Borderlands, I cannot play Cloud from FFVII should that game make it on the list. Don't know a game? That's fine. You don't have to know all the games that are available. You just have to know your game as you'll be the one to play the game characters. Each characters starts in their original game. After realizing that you're trapped in a game, you can warp to another game. Time warping/splitting devices. Each person has a different tool which gets them about the worlds. Cell phones, watches, MP3s, laptops, PokeWalkers, and any other electronic device have the ability to map out where people are as well as allow the wearer/users to "regroup" with others." |

Rubbing the dirt from her new attire, she took a hesitant step forward. "Where the hell am I?" Before she could even take back her answer, a little yellow robot raced up to her. "Hello my name is Claptrap," said the robot. Falling back onto her butt, Aleu looked over at the little guy that seemed a little startled by her odd reaction. "Wh-wh... where am I?" Her bright blue eyes looked toward the darkening sky. "I-is this... Fyrestone?" "Hey! Over here! I'm over here!" Chirping at her, Aleu followed Claptrap with an uneasy feeling in her stomach. "What the hell is going on... am I... dreaming?" Falling silent, she met her first task, kill the bandits that were frightening the poor robot. When a bullet grazed her arm, the blonde stumbled backwards. "Damn!" With a quick recoil behind a wall, her panicked eyes looked toward Claptrap. "That hurt!" "Urrgggh! You're never going to find the Vault if you keep whining like that. Hurry up and kill those guys. If you die here, it'll be game over." Eyes widening more, Aleu looked down at her cell phone. The screen was flashing with the words "Regroup with others." Confused, she slammed her hand on the "OK" button. As she did, her body virtualized and she began her transmission yet another game. Unaware of what she did, Aleu fell unconscious in the transferring process.... |

Aria rubbed her eyes and sat up. What happened? She looked around through the blond bangs hanging in her eyes and almost froze. "Traverse Town?" Getting to her feet she looked around at the shops and the cement staircase that lead up to the next level of the little survivor town. "But how the hell did i get here?" Reaching over her shoulder, Aria felt the handle of a weapon. Her eyes got wide as she pulled it from her back and looked at it. "Whoa, that's new." She looked around some more as she started walking. Her heart started racing. She was here, like really really here. But in a game? She pinched her arm and the sharp pain told her yes she was in fact in Traverse town. Then someone ran past her, knocking her over in the process. "Move it kid!" The dark haired man said, but then he paused as he looked down at the girl he had knocked over. His eyes landing on the keyblade in her hand. As Aria looked up at the man she noted the scar across his face. Leon. She opened her mouth to ask him for help, but before she could say anything the man shook his head. "This is not the time to be here girl." He looked from her weapon to her. "You should leave." Then he ran off, his gunblade held firmly in his hands. "What the hell is going on?" She shouted after him, but it was too late, by the time she got to her feet, he was gone. |
“Dream as if you'll live forever, live as if you'll die today.” Confused, Remmi looked around. She hadn't a clue where she was, and how she had gotten there. Hers eyes widened as she observed the strange place. She knew it all to well. "Ozmone Plains......" She said out loud to herself. Remmi jumped as she heard a voice behind her, "Hey!" A sort of deep voice called out. Remmi reconized it instantly, and gasped as she saw she was right, it was Vaan. She tilted her head. What was happening? She gasped when she saw Vaan jump in front of her to fight of some sort of creature. It was a garif. "Get out of here!" The boy told her. "How?" Remmi asked, panicked. She then realized that her iPod was in her hands. She looked at it, seeing some words flashing on it. Unsure of what to do, she immediatly pressed the button, and quickly found her self in a new place. As Remmi looked around the strange new place, which appeared to be a Kingdom Hearts type of setting, she noticed another girl. Maybe she could tell me what's going on... "AHHHHHHHHHHH!" Aleu screamed at the top of her lungs as she fell from the sky. A loud thud followed as she felt herself land on what seemed to be something squishy. Blinking a few times, Aleu moaned as she sat up.
When she felt some turbulence beneath her butt, her eyes widened. "OH MY GOD! I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to flatten you like a bug!" Rushing to her feet, Aleu helped both the females up. "Heh, sorry. I had no idea what I was doing. I just hit the "Regroup" thing and then BAM! I was falling and yeah.... So anyways, what the hell is going on?" A little sigh escaped. "Wait a minute... haven't I seen you before? And... you, too?" Cocking her head, Aleu pondered for a few seconds. "Damn! I saw you a few days ago at Starbucks and then I saw you at BestBuy. Wow... small world. Heh. Weird." Her eyes danced about as she stared at the world she was now apart of. "Uhhh... so where are we? I know this isn't Borderlands, but I have no idea what game this is." "It's Kingdom Hearts, right?" A slender white-haired male stepped out from the shadows. "I was reading an article which stated something about people being sucked into games and having to 'save the world' from a greater evil. It sounded like a bunch of bull shit, but, from the looks and feel of this, I would say we've been selected to save our planet." Exhaling a puff of smoke, Billie took a step closer to the females. "Fuck," he said while rolling his eyes. "It looks like I have to do all the heavy lifting around here." "Hey, we're not pathetic!" Aleu barked at the male. "No. But what kind of man would I be if I let you women get hurt or killed. I would fail at my soul purpose... to help women." Dropping his cigarette, he moved his hand behind his neck. "The name's Billie. My original game is COD: Modern Warfare 2. I saw we beat Kingdom Hearts first, then move onto the next easiest one. My game is set on... well, I'm going to just call it Hell. So it automatically makes my game be the last one we'll have to beat because it'll be that hard...." "Uhhh. Sure. I'm Aleu. Borderlands is my game." Shrugging, she looked at the other women and figured that maybe they would prove to be more sane than this Billie character. |
Aria rubbed her hip once she was pulled to her feet. She looked at the two girls who were obviously out of place in Traverse Town. Looked like she wasn't alone in this weird endeavor. Slinging the keyblade onto her back she opened her mouth to speak but stopped when a man stepped out of the shadows.
As two of the strangers spoke Aria began to realize that she had seen them all before. It was odd recognizing them but maybe that was the point. The man, Billie, maybe he was right. They were all selected to save their world. But why her? She had never done anything of importance in her life. She shook her head at the mans comment of having to carry everyone along on this trip. "Don't worry, I'm pretty sure we can all carry our own weight." She said in her soft voice that didn't seem to match the boldness of her normal appearance. Pulling two hair ties off her wrist, Aria tied her hair back into two low messy buns, her blue hair splayed out behind her head. "I am A.M., Aria, whatever... welcome to my game." She said simply as she looked around. Her skin began to crawl as she looked around. A shadow shimmered along the ground and disappeared around the corner. A Heartless. "So what exactly is the plan here guys?" She asked, after the other girls introduction as she continued to keep a watch around them. "I mean I am all for talking and figuring stuff out, but standing in the middle of the street isn't the best place to do it." |
"Hell, I thought playing the obvious target was the goal. Damn. I guess I'm a little rusty at this game." Eyes rolling about, Billie gave the blue-haired girl a once over. "Did you dye your own hair? Or did you pay a visit to the Wild Style hair, tattoo, and piercing parlor?" If she said yes, that would explain where he knew her from. This other female might have also payed that parlor a visit. But the other woman was a complete mystery to him.
"Where have I met you?" He questioned behind red eyes. "Trust me, we've never met." Turning her nose up, Aleu could help but give a smile when she placed her back toward him. Well, he's a hot one. Minus the smoking.... "True. Had I met you, I'd have gotten your number." Brushing past her, Billie leaned himself up against a building. "Well, I'm not really a fan of this game. I've only played parts of it, so, Aria, why don't you tell us how to go about mastering this game. From the feel of it, or at least what I concluded from my game, it looks like we were sucked in where we last left off." "Noooooo! It's true then! My friend accidentally erased my game." "Fuck. Looks like we'll have to play Borderlands all the way through. I'm about halfway done with my game... so we'll be finishing mine up. What about yours?" he said looking between the two other females. "Why are you such an expert at this thing?" Aleu suppressed a growl. "Are you hiding something from us?" "Tch, I have nothing to hide. Nor do I have anything I wish to share. Believe and assume what you'd like. I won't tell you anything." His bitter sweet words nipped at Aleu. Was he really going to keep up this macho facade? Or was this not an act and really just his true... personality? |
