Koraru and Neko~It all began with a kidnapping
it was war. It wasn't just the Leaf, or just the Sand or just the Mist... it was each and everyone of the Five kingdoms, in a struggle against Uchiha Madara, and the many dead Kabuto had returned to life. Everyone was broken down into groups, into huge squadrons according to their abilities, no matter what kingdom they came from. All ninja were under the same headband, the same flag of the shinobi. However, because so many were there, and everyone knew so few, it was easy for someone to infiltrate.
Suigetsu was excited to watch his dear brother come back to life, massacring all around him. How he wanted to get his hands on those swords, but he knew right now it would be impossible, at least in the middle of so much. It might have been a bit too reckless to get into the middle of war on a whim, but he'd never admit it to Sasuke. Oh, well, he thought, maybe when they finish them off I can steal them easier. He made an attempt to escape the tumult, but what he didn't know was that, in the crowd, a certain little Hyuga had noticed he didn't quite belong in the group. |
Hinata stood in the back of the group. She didn't exactly want to be fighting. But the lives of the people she cared about were on the line. So she would. Though she was put in the back to keep her safe.
She noticed a man who wasn't supposed to be there. She instantly followed after him. She was going to find out who he was and where he was going. Also who he worked for. {{Sorry if this isn't as long as yours.}} |
'Shit' thought Suigetsu, trying to escape her, zigzagging through the crowds. He was in enemy territory, he couldn't afford to get caught, even for an instant. He knew Sasuke was nearby, in case his attempt was as foolish as the Uchiha knew it would be. What the Uchiha didn't predict was that only a single kunoichi would be pursuing him. It was a bit humiliating, but rather good that no one else had even noticed.
Soon, Suigetsu no longer felt followed by said girl: his leader and partner had knocked her out inconspicuously and used genjutsu to get Hinata into the shadows. With no one following him, Suigetsu quickly returned to his base, where Sasuke was waiting for him, holding an unconscious Hinata. "Whoa, why are you keeping her?" said Suigetsu, dooking with doubtful eyes at the girl in the Uchiha's hands. "You should just kill her and be done with." "She's from Konoha, the village I want my revenge on," Sasuke responded, not willing to admit his hesitation in killing the innocent. "She might be useful as a hostage, and for information. Let's go" ((You cn time skip here if you want to)) |
{{Alright.}}
A few hours later, Hinata woke up. She kept her eyes closed, trying to figure out what happened. The last thing she remembered was chasing after the intruder. Then, nothing. She slowly opened her eyes, looking around. She wasn't anywhere she knew about. And that freaked her out a bit. She needed to figure out where she was and how to get back to where she was. She needed to get back to her friends. {{Sorry if this is a bit short. Not sure what to say right here.}} |
"Don't try to move too much," said the cold voice of Uchiha Sasuke, though Sasuke himself wasn't in plain sight. "The ropes I've binded you with tend to tighten the more you struggle. You are now in my hideout, but you wont be able to figure out where that is, I assure you..." Heaving a sigh, he added, "You must be an idiot, to go chasing a suspicious character all on your own, while not expecting a counterattack from any allies they might have."
Yes, he had the poor girl bound in not the most comfortable of circumstances, but he was keeping her alive. Would he be able to make something good out of it, or would it just be a liability? |
Hinata tried to figure out where the voice was coming from. She was sure that she would be able to get out of the ropes with her chakra. She would just have to wait for the right moment. And sure, she was being an idiot by following him. But she wasn't really thinking when she did. So it wasn't exactly her fault.
There was something about that voice that was familiar to her. She was sure she had heard it before. Even if it was a bit different. It took her a moment to recognize it. "Sasuke-kun?" she asked. |
Still not revealing himself, and not answering the question at hand, Sasuke said, "You will be questioned about all you know at Konoha, about the current Hokage and any other useful information. These are the only reasons you are being kept alive, so I suggest you comply." Of course, that was nothing more than a farce, but this intimidation would probably be the only thing stopping her from being truly killed by that idiot Suigetsu.
"I'll be bringing food and water shortly, so don't do anything more stupid, will you?" He added, footsteps in the distance indicating he was retreating deeper into the base. |
Comply? No. She wasn't going to help the enemy. She would rather die. As soon as she heard him walk off she activated her byakugan. She focused her chakra to break through the ropes, having no problem getting through them. She stood up and started looked for an exit. She was going to get out of here, but needed to avoid the enemy at the same time.
She started walking through the nearest walkway. She kept her eyes open for anybody nearby.If they got close, then she would avoid them. |
Sasuke groaned, darting after the escaped Hinata, using strings to bind her and pull her close enough, pinning her roughly to the wall. Her face was touching the cold cement, his hand in the back of it to keep her from looking directly at him. Even if she knew who he was, she wasn't going to give her the satisfaction of seeing him.
"You don't listen at all, do you...?" he hissed in her ear, his breath quite warm, as was his body pressed against hers, keeping her against the cold cement. "You're going back to your cell, and staying there... please... don't make me hurt you..." |
Hinata winced as she was slammed into the wall. The impact caused her byakugan to deactivate. She tried to turn to see who it was. But by the voice, she instantly knew who it was. Sasuke, of course. She was half expecting it to be the man she was following earlier.
"I-I'm not afraid of you, Sasuke-kun." she said, only stuttering slightly. She really was getting better at that. And she wasn't afraid to die. Not if it meant keeping the village safe. "You can't force me to stay." |
"Tch, when did you get so stubborn....?" Sasuke complained, tying her now with his chakra strings as best he could, while still keeping her tightly to the wall. He also ripped a piece of his cloth using it as a bandage to cover her eyes, tying it up with one hand in his mouth. Her attitude wasn't the only thing that was changing, her body had changed a lot in these last few years, but that wasn't something he should b focusing on.
With no gentleness whatsoever, he pulled at her, making her face in the direction of the cell, as he softly pressed his fingers over the blindfold. With this, just a bit of chakra, would impede the girl's byakugan from looking past it for the moment. Maybe Orochimaru's teachings were worth something... |
"Maybe when I got tired of being pushed around." Hinata said. She struggled in the bonds, hoping to get free. But she couldn't use her chakra to get through the binds. That didn't stop her from trying to get him to let her go. Though she did stop after a moment. She was going to save her strength.
She decided that would be easier to just go along with him for now. And when the time was right, she would get out of here. She willingly went back with him to the cell. She needed to take time to make a plan to get out of here. |
"Are things in the village that bad," he asked as he secured her in the room, "that you needed to change this much? I thought the Hyuga had solved their quarrels and Naruto had returned to Konoha despite it all... You never got to tell him how you felt, did you?"
Sasuke hadn't been one to spend much time with those his age, but that didn't mean he was oblivious to the world around him. A ninja is useless if he doesn't know the strengths and weaknesses of his opponents. Maybe by probing, by mentally weakening Hinata instead of just physically, he could better keep her calm. |
Hinata was silent for a while, thinking about whether or not she should answer him. "Things have been getting worse in the village recently. But it will get better. And yes. I did tell Naruto how I felt." she told him.
And that was all she was going to say. She knew what Sasuke was trying to do. But she wasn't going to fall for it. She was smarter than that. "And you can ask as many questions as you want. I won't betray the village." she said. |
"We'll see about that..." he responded, his face hardening. He did notice, however, the change in her tone, the silence that she almost didn't break when he mentioned Naruto. "Did he say he didn't like you? Is that idiot still after Sakura after all this time?" He scoffed, wondering what Naruto saw in that pink-haired fan girl, who was usually more of a liability than a help in most missions. "Or did you actually stand a chance to be with him?"
Even with the change of attitude, Hinata was still Hinata. She was stubborn like in her battle with Neji, but that also meant she got hurt a lot more. |
Hinata was silent. She really didn't want to say anything. Especially about Naruto. And he didn't say he didn't like her. He didn't say anything at all. He didn't really get the chance. Not that she minded. She just wanted the chance to finally say it. And now that she had, she was happy.
"You can ask all the questions you want. I'm not going to answer any more." she told him. She wasn't going to say any more to him. At all for the rest of the time she was trapped here. |
((I'm sorry honey, the vice I've been feeling has been more Sakura than Hinata all over the story. Not sure if I can continue...))

[{I'm sorry. I can fix it.}}
