Mike looked at Sumiko when she told him that a person was better then a life rule, he shrugged and said "Its not really a memory, it is a drawing of her that I keep in my pocket. I woke up with it in my pocket and I have gained a bit more information about her but not much." He looked his pocket and then to the cinnamon rolls as he lisened to Sumiko then said "Thanks, I really appreciate that and sure I would like one" He got up and then said "I'll meet you in the sitting room it is getting a bit bright in here.'" He turned and walked into the sitting room, he ignored Liam and Phoenix who seemed to be talking about something and went over to the couch and sat down to wait for Sumiko.

Ekin found herself halfway down the stairs when the piano music stopped and a crash sounded from the kitchen. She had been in the house long enough to assume that it was more than likely an argument between Raven and Daichi. Then, the smell of warm cinnamon and orange zest hit her and she was pulled into a daydream. She saw nothing but blackness, then began to hear the voices of children.
"What are you drawing? I drew mommy's cat, ginger."
"Aha, Mine's a bunny..."
"He's got no ears! he looks like a turtle!"
"That's not nice!"
Here, let me fix it!"
"No, you'll ruin him!...."
She shook her head, and the darkness faded away. She continued down the steps, taking them slowly, one by one. She didn't know what to make of the daydream, but she tried not to dwell on it too much, she was hungry and now craved whatever food was making that delicious smell that brought back half-memories of a past that wasn't hers anymore.
Kris followed close behind lady Ekin. He had not alerted her to his presence just yet, and he observed as she seemed to lose touch with reality for just a sparse moment. He called out to her as she began down the stairs again ,"lady Ekin, may I accompany you to the kitchen, for that is undoubtedly where you are headed with such an aroma as that coming from within its boundaries." he gave a small bow and offered his hand to escort her down the stairs. When she took it, they walked arm-in-arm towards the kitchen. Kris released her arm when they made it to the doorway. "good morning everyone." he called out to the few dolls that still remained. He helped Ekin to where the cinnamon rolls sat on the counter , "Lady Raven, you have sure outdone yourself this time. They look delicious."
"They smell like.... memories." Ekin said faintly as she took a roll and sat down with it, picking it apart with her fingers as if she were unwinding a rope and eating the thing bit by bit.

Sumiko grabbed two cinnamon rolls, put them on plates then walked into the sitting room where she found Mike sitting on the couch. She walked over sat down beside him and handed him a plate, she picked at the cinnamon while she ate it. She looked up at Mike and said "So, do you remember the persons name?", she looked to the window and saw the light shining in and she smiled then looked at Mike "So, what do you do during the day if you avoid people?". She looked down at her cinnamon roll that was now half eaten and thought to herself 'It is nice to have someone to talk to, I just wish I knew more about myself or the people who used to know me', she looked up and smiled.

Raven took a sip of her tea, absent midedly listening to everyone around her. Chi, Raven, and Pheonix seemed to be teasing each other, and Sumiko and Mike seemed to be having a nice conversation. "It's hard to believe its already been a year since Sumiko came. I hope whoever it is that comes, doesn't disrupt the flow of the house. Everything here is pretty peaceful, except for Chi and some of the other doll's outbursts." She thought, "I wonder if it will be a girl or a boy. We seem to have a pretty nice balance of Genders so far. I wonder if it will be a human, an elf, or something else completely. It would be interesting to get someone with some new power no one else has." she continued to think, her thoughts moving on. She felt a pang of sadness though, and she heard someone begun to play the piano. "I doubt it could be someone that looks like me..." she thought, thinking back to her constant companion in her dreams. "Miko..." The name came and echoed in her head. All of the sudden she heard a crash, and she jumped, startled. She watched the scene play out, and sighed, "I guess Raven made Chi go off in another one of his moods." she thought.
Miu got up and got a plate down from one of the cabinets. She put a cinnamon roll on it, and refilled her cup with warm water. She returned to her seat, and looked around. "I really shouldn't get so caught up in my thoughts, already half of the people have left." she thought. She swallowed her bite and smiled, seeing Ekin and Kris enter the Kitchen, arm in arm. "Good morning," she replied cheerfully to Kris, "You both just arrived in time for breakfast." she finished with a smile. What Ekin had said though, it stung in her mind. "Memories?" she wondered. She had none, or at least, she wanted to think she had none. She took a sip of her tea, and shook her head a bit, clearing that train of thought out of her head. Kris was one of the quirkier dolls of the house. He talked in an odd, but nice, fashion. Referring to everyone as a 'Lady' or a 'Sir'. He could get weird though, but then again, it seemed all the older dolls had more issues than the rest of them. She took another bite of her cinnamon roll, and waited for something else to happen. Today would be a rather boring day for her, since the new doll could arrive at any time. She couldn't start working on her drawing of Liam and Chi, fearing interruption, and she couldn't go get a book, or at least not yet, because Liam was calming Chi down up there, and she only used the jacuzzi at night so she could relax and stare at the sky. So, until the new doll came, or nightfall, she wouldn't have much to do.

Mike took the plate from Sumiko and said "Thanks", he took a bite and then said "These are really good" he looked over to the kitchen and saw that more dolls had finally decided to wake up and come downstairs. He took another bite then swallowed and said "No, I don't know her name but she seems to be really important to me" he looked at Sumiko for some reason he felt something about her but he didn't know what. He finnished off his cinnamon roll and then said "I normally hide in the shadows and look at the drawing, but I also read I take books into my room, I don't really want others to know I like reading but it helps the time pass". He smiled a little and then leaned back and said "So, what do you do all day besides sit in the window seat all day?", he chuckled a little then smiled.

Chi looked up from his book as he turned seeing Liam there. He stared at the other dark elf he smiled slightly as he removed his glasses and stood walking to the edge of the table peering from it at Liam feeling his mood brighten. "Yes dear Liam-kun I am here." He said as he gave a bow in respect to him. He rose as he stared at the other doll. "Can I help you? Please keep the door shut for now I do not what to face the others." He said as he leaped from the table and walked to where Liam was and peered down at the doll as he smiled slightly. "Why do dare to come here Liam-kun? The others would not dare to face me but I am not the monster they see. Raven needs to work on her manners I keep hoping one day her edges will be smoothed. She is a wonderful person though she tries to hide it. But you must understand we are old and hold our own secrets as you do or soon will. The witch does not like many in here and I have always been here fixing the books and guarding it for her as she had taught me to do since I can remember." He said as he turned walked to one of the many many book selves that lined the walls of the over sized room. "There are 5,257 thousand books here not counting her scrolls." He said as he smiled turning to look at Liam.
Phoenix stared at the room before walking to the wall where the window seal was. She leaped in the air and floated up to the ledge as she landed and placed her hand on the window peering out it. She longed to go outside for once but knew better. There were so many dangers out there that would hurt her or one of the others. The witch had always warned that to leave was certain death. She had only known of one who tried but couldn't remember what had happen to the doll. The doll was never seen again though only her and Raven still remembered it the others seemed to move on as if it was never there though in their mind it wasn't. She let out a sigh as she stared out it board and longing for something to do. She would talk to Raven that would be the thing to do she knew but she was afraid to go near her in the mood she may be in.

Raven smiled a bit at the compliments she was receiving. "Thank you everyone." She said simply. Throwing the glass from the plate into the trash and then washing her hands of any glass that could have been on them. "Good morning Kris. Good morning Ekin." She said to both of them. Taking a sponge to clean the counters. They needed to shine, or else she would receive a lecture yet again. "Take what you want from the cooling rack guys. I am holding a few aside for the others." Raven said as she heard Phoenix come in the room again.
"I'm not biting anyone's head off. Just cleaning." She said to her dear friend. There was honestly no hostility in her voice. Raven was not mad. She knew what she said was wrong. So the only thing she could do was clean the kitchen enough so one could see their face in the counter. And give him some space for a few hours. Raven even started to hum a bit as she did so. Lightening up the mood even more so.
Liam closed the door behind him. At the elder doll's wish. He listened carefully, deciding to choose his words carefully. Since with any word he could just as easily tick the male off. Which truly would help in the least bit. It would merely make things even worse. "When I play music, I unwind. Let my true self out. I relax, take deep breaths, and always feel very calm." He paused, admiring the way his voice echoed threw the tall library. It was beautiful the way it did. "With all due respect Mr Daichi, I feel you judge everyone far to harshly. Never allowing anyone in yourself. It has nothing to do with Secrets." Liam said. He was standing his ground by now facing the man. As he had scene Raven do plenty of times.
He ignored what Chi said about the books. Changing the subject, it was such a guy thing the do when they did not wish to speak about something. "Please don't change the subject like all the other times Chi. What is bothering you?"

Chi turned leaving Liam there as he walked up to the book selves placing his hand on one of the books as he stared at it. "Too many things. I judge because that is all I know that is all she taught me. To each their own Liam-kun. What did she teach you Liam?" He said as his eyes shifted to the Liam. He pulled looked to his feet then to his side where his sword was that he loved and hated all at the same time. "She once use to come and spend much time with me and Raven and the others then after Phoenix she stopped appearing. Raven and I have been threw much both of us the same and different. She crossed the line as normal for her. I am sick of always being the once she has to hurt the most. The sad part is I know I am the one she loves more than most that is why she lashes out at me before any of you. I hate the other dolls not for their own reason but for the fact that she hasn't made monsters of you. Look at Raven and I. Honestly we are both monsters. I was made to protect and serve and Raven to guard and lead. Phoenix was the last the witch taught even she is a little dark just as Kris is. All of his disturbed in some manner. What makes me this way is what you really want to know. There was some one that needed me more than anything and I couldn't be their for them. " He said being honest for once. His voice soften as pure honesty chimed from it as he let his mask he had wore for so long fade.
He turned and hung his head as he let out a breath. "I don't want to be close to anyone because I could lose them. I would rather be the monster and protect than to love and lose. I have lost something that I loved more than my life and what I do not know but I have no need to pet and pretend that I care about the other dolls. The truth is I don't they are not part of my family. I have Raven and the others I don't need any others they were here first and the only ones I will love and put up with being babies and having issues. You were unplanned for me to become attached to. I love your music to be honest and some times watch you as you play. He said as he smiled then laughed as a beautiful smile appeared on his face as he was honestly happy and stared at Liam. "I am only playing with Raven she has to learn to watch her mouth. We have done this for years play mad at one another. In fact I am rarely mad and just act to fool the others and to just keep them out of my way in the kitchen and out of here. I honestly wouldn't hurt one of them. I may not liking having more but I would never do anything to harm one of them. You'll learn me and Raven are rather found of one another. We always do this then we make up in our own little way. We have been together nine years we know everything about each other."
Phoenix turned as she heard Raven as a faint smile rose on her lips. She laughed as she gave a nod. "You know better Raven.' She said as she began to laugh again after reading both their thoughts as she held her stomach from laughing so hard. "You two kill me honestly. Yen and Yang that you are. I love this house." She said as tears rolled from her eyes hearing the twos thoughts. She wiped the tears from her eyes as she calmed down or tried too as she let out a breath smiling. "Wow you two are something else. I honestly thought me and Kris where rather bad but you two are something else. I think I would rather take the spirits own that pick on Kris than you two. And your rolls are a hit. I am glad you finally learned how to cook I remember the cup cake you had made me when I first came....it was so sweet though I had always wondered how you know I loved them."

Sumiko looked at Mike the thought 'Important' was stuck in her head, nothing was ever really improtant to her she just lived her life like everything was normal. She looked off into the distance and froze, all she saw was open feilds and a house, she came back to reality quickly when she heard Mike talking. She looked at him, she gigled and then said "You fooled me I never thought that you would read. How do you get the books Chi is always garding them." She paused and then said "I would love to get some books, but he kind of scares me". She looked down and then said "I normally spend my day in the window unless I am in my room just wasting time." She looked up and smiled then said "Do you think you could help me get some books?"

"Watch my mouth. Bla bla bla." She said to Phoenix, laughing just a hair. She noticed the small tears in the doll's eyes, although did not bring it up. Infact she did not say much of anything after all. She leaned into the counter a bit. Analyzing her work. She could see herself in it. But was that good enough? Eh.. close enough. She put the cleaning things back in there places, leaving the kitchen in perfect order. She then overheard Phoenix questioning how Raven knew she would like a cupcake. One thing Raven noticed about her power, she knew everything about everyone in the house. Just as they simply walked into the room she knew more each time. Although Phoenix could never read those thoughts for some reason. Raven never understood why... But maybe that was how the witch had made her.
It was always strange to Raven. Why was she chosen over everyone else? It was completely draining. Even as she spoke to everyone, she could hear the witch's thoughts. As well as her own. It really simply gave her a headache. Some days it was to the point she would want to sleep to just make her headaches go away. Most of the time though, she would drink. At least that way it did not appear like she was sick. Plus the alcohol did not do anything to her body. Besides the typical drunk things. Although try explaining it to any of the dolls. The way Chi spoke, he always made it sound like Raven was lucky to have this happen.
"Daichi.." Liam said, moving a bit closer to the dark elf. Although still keeping a fair distance. He watched the elder doll for just a second before continuing. "Do you notice something. Raven seems to be slowing down. At least in the three years I have known her. She made more jokes here and there, but now she just seems to want to be left alone. Almost like she is tired." Liam brought up. Probably completely out of his right to even bring up. "But you would know far better than me. Who knows, maybe this game you are playing with her will liven things up." Liam turned. His stomach rumbled a bit, which was only made louder by the echos in the library.
"I am going to head back downstairs to get a bite to eat. It was nice speaking with you Mr Chi." Liam said to the other Dark elf, heading out of the Library, stopping before opening the door, "Oh, and you are not a monster. A monster eats people after all." Liam said with a childish laugh before going downstairs, being sure to shut the door. He went back downstairs, entering the kitchen where he took the seat next to Phoenix.

Ekin noticed Liam enter the room and take a seat next to Phoenix. "Good morning, little brother." She called to him, using a playful nick name she'd come up with when he'd first come to the house, to make him feel like more a part of the 'family' "How is that Daichi doing, huh? I know you know, you and he have such an unusually strong bond." She looked at him with a sideways glance and an unusual smile as she took the last bite of her cinnamon roll and stood to brush crumbs from her lap. She always found it peculiar that they had somehow gotten along so quickly. It had taken her almost a full year to get Daichi to even aknowledge that she existed, but he seemed magnetized to Liam from day one. 'I guess it's because Liam has that way about him. Nothing ill can be said about the boy, he's just too adorable'
"Greetings, Sir Liam, a lovely morning we are having, from what I can see through the window. I would like to know how Sir Daichi is doing as well, the crash was heard in nearly every room except the basement I believe.... There wasn't much yelling, that I could hear, so it musn't have been such a terrible argument between him and Lady Raven?" He gave the young doll a smile, that made the corners of his eyes scrunch up and his eyes themselves more almond shaped. On the inside, however, he was learning chivalry from the spirit of the knight that lived in his room, Sir Garrou, he was called. The knight always had so much to say about how Kris should act, speak, walk, and stand. Sir Garrou had even given Kris his current name, calling him after a squire who had once served him, and whom Kris bore a striking resemblance to in his porcelain skin.

Mike looked at Sumiko and said "Glad to know that I had one person believing that", he sat up more and then said "You like to read too?" he paused "Chi can be a little scary but he is not always in there, I normally go get a book when he is out". He looked over Sumiko's shoulder and saw that Liam had left the library he looked back to Sumiko and said "Wasting time that is it, then you really do need to find something to do", he looked over to the staircase then said "Sure, I will help you get a book we just have to wait for him to leave, unless you want to get caught in one of his moods". He chuckled and thought to himself 'And to think that I avoided her for a year, and now I find out that we have a lot in common. It would have helped knowing her when she first came then this past year wouldn't have been so boring, I just hope that the new doll doesn't come in and ruin it for everyone."

She got up and walked into the kitchen and over to the sink to wash the two plates, she saw that Raven had washed the counters so the Chi wouldn't give her another lecture about. She looked up from washing the plates and over to Raven and said "Thanks they were really good", she looked back down and finnished wwashing and drying the paltes and put them away. She saw that everyone was talking to one another so she walked back into the sitting room and sat down beside Mike, she leaned back then said "So, how long do you think he will be in there this time?", she looked over to Mike and waited for an answer.

Chi went back to his book as he thought about what Liam had said after he had made sure the door was shut. He placed his reading glasses back on as he flipped the page and read the story of homer once again. The story was rather complex to him and so much could be learned from it. He had read it many times and seemed to always come back to it in the end or one of the poems from Poe or Shakespeare and some of the plays from him as well. He sat their for a while as he read enjoying himself and the quite that he found.
Phoenix smiled as she heard Raven. Her attention turned to Liam as he took a set beside her. She laughed as she saw him and gave him a soft hug. "Good morning Liam-kun. And how are you this morning? Did you sleep well?" She said as she shifted her eyes to Raven staring at her as she gave her a grin. Phoenix didn't need anyone to really tell her how they where or what they where thinking she already knew it. Not that she would tell any of the dolls that. Really who wants to know that some one is reading their thoughts. She had learned the hard way from Chi about reading peoples mind and letting them know you could. She had just learned to keep her mouth shut and act normal even though it did get on her nerves. She wished that at times the thoughts and voices would stop. She tried to tune them out unless she just had to lessen. If she didn't she would find herself in her a ball on where ever she fell from the never ending headache that came from it.

"I called him my wife." Raven said. Filling the two in who had just come in. As Liam came in she saw the events from his conversation with Chi. "He is just putting on a show. Chi never really gets mad at me. Well, he did one time, but that was long ago. Kris may remember. I'm pretty sure we tore the living room apart." Raven said. There was a small laugh in her voice as she spoke. She always found it fun how everyone was so scared of Chi. But really, he was like a cat. Pat him too hard, and he will bite you. Okay, maybe not a cat. Mountain lion is more manly.
She smiled to Sumiko as she came in. "Thank you Sumiko. I will have to make them again." She said to the girl. Raven had to admire how she clean up after herself and Mike. Less work for Raven. She looked to Liam next. "I see your head is still on your body. That is a great sign."
Liam smiled as he got himself a cinnamon roll. Tearing off pieces and eating it slowly. The attention seemed completely on him as he came in. Which always seemed to happen whenever he came in from talking with the other dark elf. "he is fine. Just cooling off I guess. He was reading when I first went in there. Which is always a good sign." He answered, while hugging Phoenix back. "I am well. As you heard earlier, I wrote a new song. Had some tea. Nothing too interesting. I had a dream about my brother again last night. It was a good one. Nothing with fire." Liam said. He had a very light tone to his voice. Really, there were not reasons to not like the boy.
"Yeah, I used some glue on the way." He said to Raven, making a similar joke she would have made.

Miu sighed, and finished her tea. Ekin and Kris had seemed to not hear, or ignore her greeting. Both of which were unlike them, but there was a bit of coming and going, so it was possible. She saw Liam come back down stairs and smiled as she listened to his response to Phoenix's question. "I guess I can get a book now without Chi getting too angry with me for disturbing his solitude. It's good that he cooled off so fast. I hate having nothing to do." she thought. It was the truth too, whenever she had nothing to do, she usually began to think about her memories. Her memories usually got her down, and she didn't like thinking about depressing subjects. The thought of having such adventures, and being far away from someone she was once so close to was nearly unbearable. It was one of the reasons she woke up to a mess in her room so much. Her power to create wind was troublesome since it was partially effected by her emotions.
Miu took her plate and cup to the sink and set it down. She first cleaned her plate, then cleaned her cup. "Well, It sounds like Chi's calmed down," she began as she dried the plate, then moved on the the cup, "so I think I'll head up and get a book. If anyone needs me I'll be in the game room." she said with a smile. She put the plate and cup away, then turned to Raven, "Thanks for breakfast again, Raven." she said with a smile, then headed out of the kitchen. She was going up the stairs and towards the Library in minutes.
Miu opened the library door cautiously, and walked quietly into the Library. The witch had a vast collection of books, and a very full collection, in terms of diversity of subject. She had read many books, but there were still thousands she hadn't read. She was in the mood for a light hearted story. She needed something light hearted to lift her heavy heart, heavy from the weight of her dream... She walked in between the rows of bookcases until she came to where the folktales were. She had read the brother's Grimm collection of fairy tales many times, but they always seemed to have a deeper, positive effect on her. So she reread them whenever she needed uplifting, or a clue as to an answer in her own self discoveries. Shakespeare also seems to help, but she thought a good fairy tale was what she needed. She smiled as she came to the section, and took the book off of the shelf.

He turned his back to the window and faced her then said "But if you are really scared of him then we could wait until he comes downstairs to get something to eat". He chuckled at that thought knowing that it could be hours until he came down, he looked past her into the kitchen and lisened to bits of their conversation. All he got was that Chi was reading and that he was in a some what better mood, he then said "It sounds as if he is in a better mood right now, but that normally happenes when he reads a book", he smiled and waited for an answer.

She pulled him to the window seat the jumped up onto it and looked over the edge to where she left him and said "Come on it is not that bad and I can't just sit on the couch all day and it is beautiful out side I think you like it." "Do you need any help Miu-chan? The books are heavier than they appear. Please keep it in here or in your room. The witch dose not like her books out in the open Miu-chan. Have one of the others help you with it if you wish to take it to your room. You are welcome to read it here if you like." He said as he stood and gazed at her. He leaped from the table as he walked to where she was never missing a step. "Tell me witch on and I'll get it for you." He said in a warm voice as he stared at the different titles that he saw. "What is your favorite?" He said as he smiled and waited to here witch she would like to read. "I am sorry the scrolls must never leave here and if you are going to read them they must be read here. That is the witches rule she can be a pain some times ok most of the time." He said as he chuckled thinking about the witches last fit over her books. It made him smile as he thought about it and laughed even harder.
Phoenix just sat there as she felt out of place again. What was she there for. She heard every thought and could say none. It was a rather sick trick she thought as she sat there that the witch had played on her. She was some short of sick joke she thought the witch was rather mean for making her like this. She was not like the others Kris talked to the spirits Raven was her own person and what was she just some strange doll that heard everything and could move things.

Miu smiled at Chi's offers of help, and nagging of the rules. "I should of known better than to of thought I could take one down to the game room." she thought. She shook her head at Chi's offers, but with a smile. "No thank you, Chi, but thank you for offering. I already know the book I want to read. It's actually one of my favorites, the complete collection of The Brother's Grimm tales. I've read it before, but I like them. I'd finish my drawing, but I don't want to be interrupted with the new arrival." she said, answering most of his questions in one explanation. She spoke as she took the book from the shelf. Luckily for her it was on one of the lower shelves, so it was easy to get to. She turned and faced Chi with a smile. "It hardly seems like a year has passed, don't you think?" she asked, changing the subject, then added, "I think I'll read up here, also. I was thinking about the game room. For some reason I forgot that wasn't allowed, so thank you for reminding me. I wouldn't want the witch to lecture either of us about the care for her books." she said, truthfully. Every time she was around the witch she was nervous. She didn't want to be found out for having so many memories, and ever since she learned she wasn't meant to come, she had been even more cautious. She knew, deep down, that the witch probably knew her secret too, but she didn't want to ask the questions that would come with that. It was all a big scary mess to her, thinking about her past. It was best to forget and move on. Though, she knew she could never do that. Though they had been apart for 5 years, she still felt an ever growing bond through her dreams. From time to time, she wondered if her sister had them too...
Miu laughed with Chi in his joke about the witch. If she hadn't seen the events that had recently taken place she wouldn't of believed he was so angry before. "Liam did say he had calmed down. I guess all he needed was to be alone for a few minutes to cool off." she thought with a smile. She started walking back to the tables, where she had seen Chi reading when she walked in. "So, what are you reading today?" she asked.

((I have a quick question. Anyone who has one character here. Want to play two? I really want to get at least the present spot filled. I would prefer that you play the opposite gender, but talk to me about it. I know some people have problems playing the opposite sex. There is an opening as of now for one girl, and two guys. I wasn't planning on it being so even. So Thanks guys! I figure since it is so close to being even, may as well finish it off. But yeah, let me know^^ either shoot me a PM or post here))

Mike up at her smiled and said "I guess it wouldn't just to look out the window", he jumped up and then looked at Sumiko "But after this I think you should get a book, you waste a lot of time up here". He smiled and helped her up then turned around to the window, the light wasn't to bad but he still perferred the shadows. He looked out the window, it was nice and he did like the way it looked, he turned to Sumiko and smiled "It is amazing" he found a shaded part of the window seat and sat down. He continued to look out the window and thought to himself 'She really is a nice person, I would have never really bothered to look out the window even if the light wasn't to bad' he smiled and then continued on with his though 'I should talk to her more often and get to know her better, maybe then her happy spirit will make mine a little more happier.' He turned to Sumiko and said "We could sit here for a little longer though I still don't understand why you think it is bueatiful, and I know I have my own reasons for it to be." He smiled and waited for Sumiko to come and sit down so that he could ask more questions.

Sumiko was happy when he said that he would come look out the window, when he jumped up she rolled over and he helped her up. She looked at Mike and said "Ya, of course we can go get a book after this", she watched at Mike turned around and looked out the window she lisened to what he said and then thought to herself 'I knew he would like it'. She watched and he sat down in a shaded part of the seat, she knew that he probably didn't want to sit in the light because he liked the shade and she was alright with that. She walked over and sat down beside him when he said that the could sit there for awhile instead of going to get the book right away, she looked at him and said "Why I like it?' she paused 'I like it becasue it is always changing, it doesn't stay the same all the time that is one of the good things about because you are not always looking at the same thing" she smiled and continued on " This may sound stupid but when I am having a bad day it gives my hope and then things don't always look so bad", she blushed and then looked down. She really wanted to know why he liked it but she knew that this was probably his first time looking out of the window, so she didn't ask but instead asked "So, how come you spend most of you day in the shadow?" she thought that it would be a safe question to ask even if he didn't answer right away, she looked up and waited for an answer.

Mike was glad that Sumiko came and sat down beside him, he lisened to why she liked to and he thought about it for a bit. It was his first looking out the window so he was glad she didn't ask him why he liked it, he looked at Sumiko when she asked why he spent most of his day in the shade. He smiled and said "Well, the shade helps me from being noticed, also it is my power" He felt confortable now telling her that it was his power because he trusted her. He smiled and said "So, when ever you are ready we can go get a book." he looked out the window again and felt happy for once.

Ekin glanced over at Miu when she left, for some reason she thought the girl to look a bit upset, maybe even a little bored. She shifted her eyes, noticing a complete conversation she seemed to be oblivious too. Without warning she blurted out, "I remember that the witch used to have a cat. Do you remember her? Her name was Nelly, Nina.... something with an "N." She was so fun to play with. Whatever happened to her? I'm sorry, the thought was a bit off subject," though she wasn't entirely sure what the subject was, "but when you said the word glue I thought of her. When we were making some sort of garbage sculpture, Kris knocked over the bottle when he hit it with his hip, and it poured all over where she was sleeping under the table. She had it in her fur for weeks, It made her walk so funny," Ekin giggled.
"Nilla, that was the cat's name. And I remember that day, though the memory had escaped me until you'd mentioned it, Lady Ekin. Daichi threw a fit, because the glue left marks on the kitchen floor when we tried to clean it up." Kris tapped a finger on his chin, remembering a little bit more the harder he thought about it. It seemed to him, that the longer he'd been in the house, the harder it was for him to remember things that had happened in the house, unless someone who still had that memory brought it up in a conversation. "It was quite funny, I suppose, but that poor Nilla. I felt so bad that she had to get the glue out herself. I suppose we would have given her a bath, if she hadn't nearly broken at least half of us the first time we tried." Kris began to laugh along side Ekin, until they were both reduced to noiseless huffs.
