Curry felt her snuggling and allowed himself to be bold--he chuckled and leaned down a bit. He placed a gentle, endearing sort of kiss on the top of her head. It was a reassuring sort of gesture. "Perhaps another time, then. I assure you, it will be worth it. Be alert--I'm going to start walking out towards my car, now. Don't trip and fall."

Gingerly, the tall vampire guided her outside, making sure that she didn't fall but unable to stop any stumbling because he was holding her shoulders. His car was one of the last in the lot. It was a fancy Lamborghini...a black one, with the customized doors on it. It had a dark orange interior--he had hand-picked everything about this car.

Curry helped Elizabeth into the passenger seat, closing the door once she was safely in. He hopped over to the driver's side, sat down in the seat, and revved the engine to speed before pulling out of the lot.

Mad Hatters Revenge 01-26-2011 09:21 AM

The kiss did the trick, Elizabeth was glad he didn't make another offer for her to spend the night, she didn't want a one night stand, just someone to curl up next to while she fell asleep. Though it probably wouldn't make her very happy in the morning, there was a reason she needed to quit drinking. Smiling as she was put in the passenger seat, she relaxed into the nice warm car and gave a small, sleepy laugh. "I might be asleep by the time we get there." She admitted a bit sheepishly as she fought to keep her eyes open. "I think we should hang out again. I'm free tomorrow night, we should meet up here again, it was fun." She admitted, though didn't have to lie even a little bit, despite what her job would make her do, at least she'd relaxed and enjoyed herself for a while. Tomorrow night she'd be a bit more careful.

Mira-Charma13 01-27-2011 02:47 AM

"If you want to meet up, I would be happy to." Curry sounded somewhat elated that she wanted to see him again. Usually, sex was the only thing he sought out from other people. And seeing as he hadn't gotten it yet...he was still feeling unsatisfied.

It took just a few minutes, with a bit of heavy traffic, to reach her home. He pulled up in front of it, bringing his car to a stop. He glanced over in her direction, noting that she still seemed out of it and sort of sleepy. Perhaps she might have even fallen asleep--he couldn't tell...

Curry did not shake her, or tell her that they'd reached her home. He was contemplating pushing his luck again...if he was lucky enough, he might not have to go home hungry...

Mad Hatters Revenge 01-27-2011 03:11 AM

For the first few seconds, she thought she was actually about to fall asleep, thankfully though she felt the car come to a stop and after a few minutes, though to her it seemed like just a few seconds, her eyes slid open and she looked at the apartment building with a bit of hatred. Her room was on the 3rd floor, she was drunk, tired, and in high heels. The heels she could eliminate, the other two meant that it would take her forever to get upstairs.

Smiling, she gave a small laugh, "So, let's pretend my rooms on the third floor and there's no elevator, think you could spare a few more minutes and help me out?" Part of her wasn't sure if she was stealing more time to get closer and find a way to get his guard down, or if she really was just too damn tired and intoxicated to care who helped her upstairs so long as she went to bed alone and woke up in one piece in the morning.

Mira-Charma13 01-27-2011 03:16 AM

"Of course." Curry killed the engine and stepped outside of his car. He was by the passenger side door in a flash and he gently helped her out of the car. He had one arm around her shoulders and the other partially around her waist, making sure she stayed balanced.

As he began to walk, he politely asked for directions along the way. He didn't want to end up taking her to the wrong rooom.

Mad Hatters Revenge 01-27-2011 03:22 AM

It was pretty easy to remember how to get upstairs, she had to pull her keys out of the pocket under her skirt to open the main door, and before they started on the stairs, she paused to pull her shoes off to help make walking a bit less awkward. "There, much better." She said with a happy sigh as she carried them in her open hand, her other arm around his waist to help him out with keeping her balanced.

At the third floor, she waited until her door, the last one at the very end of the hall was in front of them before stopping and smiling. "Well this one would be me. Do you need my number or something or can I just meet you at the bar tomorrow night?" She asked, turning so her back was to the door and she was facing him.

Mira-Charma13 01-27-2011 03:26 AM

"I will be at the club tomorrow," Curry assured her, his voice quite soft for some reason. He suddenly grinned and tilted his head slightly to the side. He knew this was probably the perfect time to strike.

"I'm aware that you aren't in the mood for a one-night stand, but can I at least have a kiss goodbye...?" he entreated, hoping to lace his voice with the most seductive and intriguing tone he could possibly muster. Receiving any kind of affection from a vampire seemed to have such an errant effect on humans for reasons he himself didn't understand...

Mad Hatters Revenge 01-27-2011 03:36 AM

Elizabeth was caught off guard, she'd figured he was a sex or nothing vampire, maybe she'd accomplished getting on his good side more than she thought she had. At first, she bit her lip and seemed like she was going to just run away. Though that was mostly because he was a vampire, but part of it was simply because of how long it'd been since she'd been even slightly intimate with someone.

Her brain decided shooting him down for one simple kiss, would kill her chances tomorrow night, so before he could assume she didn't want to, he nodded. "Yeah, a ride home and a hand up the stairs, you can at least have one kiss goodbye..."

Mira-Charma13 01-27-2011 03:40 AM

"Good."

Curry said nothing more. He just leaned down, tilted his head slightly, and pressed their lips together. He didn't feel the effects, of course...but he was sure she would. He knew how people reacted to being kissed by a vampire. It was how he was able to get away with most of his biting and not get caught...people got caught up in the affection of a vampire and the rest of the world fizzled away into nothing.

He would see if she let her guard down enough for him to bite. If she didn't, that was fine. He would seek out a new victim...and perhaps go home hungry.

Mad Hatters Revenge 01-27-2011 03:45 AM

Despite expecting it, she still jumped a bit when he actually kissed her. She tried to fight of the effects she knew were coming, but it was a very futile attempt, if she was use to kissing, perhaps she'd have put up a successful fight, but her brain was too focused on that to deal with anything else. It took maybe half a minute, but her arm with the heels fell lazily at her side as her other rested itself on his shoulder, she'd kick herself later for being so weak, but for now the only thing she could do was enjoy it.

Mira-Charma13 01-27-2011 03:48 AM

Curry's patience was slowly paying off. He waited until he was absolutely sure that she was drunk enough on the effects of his kiss not to really notice the bite. He knew there was a bit of pain and then...well, the effects of kissing came back. He didn't intend on killing her. He didn't kill his victims unless they were attacking him, and that was rare...

Once he was sure she was distracted enough, he pulled back from the kiss and placed a gentle kiss on her neck. That quickly escalated...he didn't want her to snap out of her daze. So, he quickly sunk his fangs into her neck, holding her close in a rather gentle, for how big he was anyway, embrace.

Mad Hatters Revenge 01-27-2011 03:53 AM

For a few seconds, she was terrified, her eyes snapped open wide, and she almost pulled the small blade her the sleeve on her left arm, but it was too late. If she fought now, he'd be suspicious how she was able to fight off a bite when she couldn't resist the kiss, the only reason people would fight is if they knew what he was doing.

Elizabeth hated herself for it, but she forced herself not to think about it, to picture him as just a human being playful and nibbling, it was difficult, but eventually she let down enough resistance that the drugging effect of the bite was able to do it's job and put her in a mindless bliss.

Mira-Charma13 01-27-2011 04:00 AM

Curry noticed that she didn't fully relax at first. It was odd to him, but perhaps she hadn't been fully under his spell when he decided to bite. He'd have to be more careful if there was a next time.

He was gentle. He had once been nasty when it came to his bites and often killed his victims when he wasn't paying attention. That had been before he'd met Mycroft, his companion since the Renaissance. Mycroft had taught him so many things...helped him in so many ways. It was because of Mycroft that he strove not to kill his victims anymore.

He paid close attention to how Elizabeth's heartbeat sounded, and he drank rather gently as well. Once he heard the slightest aberration in her heartbeat, he pulled his head back, giving her a hopefully distracting kiss on the cheek.

Mad Hatters Revenge 01-27-2011 04:06 AM

When she finally realized he was no longer attached to her neck, and was pretty sure he'd kissed her cheek, she let her eyes open, blushed of embarrassment, fumbled with her keys without looking behind her as she managed to unlock her door and push it open, walking backwards into her apartment. "Well then....good night." She said, waiting politely for his reply before shutting and locking the door. Elizabeth bolted for the bathroom, tossed her clothes on the floor and hopped in the shower, turning up the water as hot as she could stand it to help snap her out of the daze, and feel cleaner.

What bothered her was that she had enjoyed it, despite it being to keep her cover, she would be lying if she said she'd hated it. For a while she simply stood under the water, but finally she felt awake and sober enough to wash up. When she felt well enough, she tossed on a bathrobe, sent a quick message to her boss; lying and telling him there hadn't been anyone there; and then one more to the only friend she could trust with her job, Marcus, before falling into the bed and letting herself drift to sleep.

Mira-Charma13 01-27-2011 04:11 AM

"Good night..."

Curry left without another word, wanting to head home. Whenever he actually had a good meal, he immediately wanted to curl up and go to sleep, much like a cat after it ate. He drove home wordlessly and didn't say a thing to his house-mate. He just went straight up to his room, remembering to grab a soda if he needed something to wet his throat during the night, and plopped down in bed.

Curry slept most of the day, usually. It was always dark in the house...Mycroft rarely went outside, at all. He only drank when he was close to death...he hated doing it.

Mad Hatters Revenge 01-27-2011 04:26 AM

With her schedule, she normally slept late into the afternoon, but only nights she'd been drinking, any other day she could stay up till 5, wake up at 8 and feel just fine after a quick work out. However today, she slept till almost an hour before sunset, and wasn't the happiest camper when her phone went off, she answered with an irritated, "You better be dying."

"Well good morning miss queen of the dead, lazy ass who sleeps all day. You missed our jog, which means someone had fun last night and was a bitch who forgot to tell me. I'm downstairs with the spare, so you better have some damn clothes on when I get up there."

Before she could argue with him, Marcus hung up, and after mumbling out a few choice nasty words, she switched into sweat pants and a tank top, threw her hair in a ponytail, and was decent when he barged into the apartment.
"All right, now spill, and remember every time you try to lie is a new dress I'll order and make you wear for a day."

At first Elizabeth tried to sneak around the actual truth, but at three dresses she caved in. "Fine you stubborn jackass." She snapped out half way through their set up push ups. "I spent the night at the rave, drinking, and dancing with a guy. Which I wouldn't have bothered with him but he's a vampire..." When she explained the rest of the story they were done working out and he was just looking at her like he couldn't figure out if she was lying or not.

"But....you don't like kissing." She smacked him with a pillow.

"Don't be an ass, out of the whole damn thing, you really are only shocked I had a hypothetical nice first date, not about, oh I don't know, being food? I know you don't have an issue unless their murderers-" He cut her off

"Well he didn't kill you so..."
And she cut him off with a very unfriendly glare.

"Because we were in a building with security, if something had happened the man at the front desk would've been able to remember him." Which probably wasn't likely, but the girl could hope. "It doesn't matter, I'm seeing him tonight, depending on how successful I was last night, I can set up a third night and be done with it."

Marcus sighed but shook his head, "Fine sweety." He looked at his watch, it'd been dark for about an hour, so he decided they'd eat dinner, and even though he argued, she picked out her own clothing tonight, fading blue jeans, Marcus guilt tripped her into a black and red corset, but she kept her sneakers. After last night, her feet refused to walk that much in heels again. After promising she'd check in with him as soon as she got home, which wouldn't be hard considering he announced he was staying the night, she made her way down to the club.

Mira-Charma13 01-27-2011 04:31 AM

Curry was there, of course. He was, however, not alone this time. He had forced his much younger-looking companion to go with him tonight--the poor thing was looking so frail and sickly. He must not have eaten in at least a week. Mycroft was always skinny, which Curry often chided him about, but if he didn't get sustenance tonight Curry feared he might die.

Curry was waiting for Elizabeth by the bar, almost exactly where he had been last night. Another crowd of 'fans' had gathered, but a lot of them were paying attention to the adorable boy by his side. That was fine with Curry. He already had a set date tonight.

The younger boy did look like he was awfully sick--he was a little shaky and sneezed often, earning a deluge of sweet little 'bless yous' from the girls gathered around him.

Mad Hatters Revenge 01-27-2011 04:41 AM

Elizabeth walked in, and it wasn't hard to figure out where Curry was at the bar, she made her way through the group of girls before she finally got to the bar. Unsure of what to say as a hello, she was saved by the new companion with him at the bar, the poor thing looked like he was going to fall over and die at any second. Though the ways the girls were staring made her fear he wasn't just a toy, he was another vampire. Letting a worried look come over her face she looked at the boy a moment before looking at Curry, "He really doesn't look so good. Why on earth is he out in a place like this? He should be resting."

Mira-Charma13 01-27-2011 04:45 AM

Curry gave her a look--a tired, weary sort of look. He didn't know if she really knew what he was or not, but he wasn't going to take any chances. "He's sick. I don't want to leave him home alone in his condition...we had a break-in last week and I'm afraid it's going to happen again while I'm not there. And he'll be all alone."

The boy looked up at Elizabeth, duly noting that this must have been the source of his meal last night. He could still smell Curry's scent on her. "...Hi." He extended his hand, smiling at her. Unlike Curry, he was careful and he didn't show his teeth. "I'm Mycroft. Call me Myca."

Mad Hatters Revenge 01-27-2011 04:57 AM

"I really wouldn't have been offended if you'd postponed meeting to take care of your sick...brother?" She guessed, not really sure how the two were related, though she was a bit shocked to find he had more manners than Curry at the beginning of the evening. Taking his offered hand, she gave him a gentle shake, "Elizabeth, it's a pleasure to meet you." She said, though he was not her number one priority tonight. Looking that sick could only mean he hadn't feed in days, maybe weeks, and he could loose it and go on a blood lust rampage. Perhaps Curry was making sure that didn't happen, either way, she would have to actually make sure he didn't leave with anyone alone.

Mira-Charma13 01-27-2011 05:03 AM

Mycroft's hand was cold and soft, like Curry's was. He seemed to be in a good mood despite feeling like he was going to collapse and die at any minute.

"No, no, it's fine...it's not like me to bail out on dates. He was the adoptive son of a relative of mine...a relative that died a long time ago. He's been stuck with me ever since," Curry explained, scratching his head. "He's sort of like my brother."

Curry only seemed semi-focused on her tonight. Mycroft hated to feed--it made him feel like a monster. It was why he made himself so sick. Curry knew that he would have to be the one who found a source of food for his companion tonight. He would also have to watch over him and make sure that he didn't kill his victim.

Mad Hatters Revenge 01-27-2011 05:12 AM

Elizabeth wanted to just take the sickly one and find some willing donor for him, but she wouldn't know the first place to look for someone to just jump into letting Mycroft kiss let alone bite them. While she was trying to think of something to say, her phone went off, and at first she was angry thinking Marcus just wouldn't let this thing go, but it was her boss. "Sorry, excuse me for just a second." She said before excusing herself to a quieter part of the bar.

"It's me. What's up?"

"We got some reports in, people think someone's been hurt a few blocks from the rave, but they're not calling it in, screaming vampires to me. Hightail it there and take care of it." He hung up, and she didn't even have time to see if there was anyone else he could have check it out because there was a starving vampire in the building with her.

Orders were orders, if anyone died a few blocks away she'd be to blame for not stopping them sooner. So she made her way back to the bar with a frown. "So much for my night off, got called in, looks like you can take him home and help him get better." Grabbing a napkin and borrowing a pen, she jotted down the number for her temporary cell. "Here, so we can reschedule for another night." She said hopefully before making her way out to go see who was causing such trouble.

Mira-Charma13 01-27-2011 05:18 AM

Curry frowned when he realized that she wouldn't be able to stay. He had been hoping that perhaps he might be able to get her drunk enough once more to let Mycroft bite her. He could already see that the much younger vampire was getting a little shaky from being so close to so many potential meals.

"That's a shame," he crooned, taking the napkin from her. Before she could leave, he jotted his own number down on another napkin and gently shoved that into her front pocket, lingering a little longer than he should have there. "We can reschedule at a later date. I will see you another time..."

Once she left, Curry excused himself and headed out of the club. Bringing Mycroft out here was a bad idea, obviously. He was going to have to go out later and collect some blood for his companion.

He helped Mycroft into his car, making him lay down and relax in the back seat, and he hopped into the driver's seat. He put the child lock he had onto all the doors of the car...he didn't want him suddenly losing it, bounding out, and attacking someone.

Mad Hatters Revenge 01-27-2011 05:26 AM

All Elizabeth could here was the sound of her own breathing, heavy, labored, and she was walking somewhere. The adrenaline wore off and she was able to remember what had happened, she'd been jumped. Vampires were responsible, three of them, they were all dead now, but they'd beaten her up pretty well. Her cheek was cut, there were deeper cuts all over her arms, legs, attempted bite wounds at her neck, and it felt like someone had tried to crush her ribcage. She was taking the back streets to avoid police, she couldn't go to a hospital like this, she needed to get home, Marcus had patched her up on more than one occasion. However she had no idea where was, how long she'd been walking, or how much blood she'd lost in the process.

Mira-Charma13 01-27-2011 05:31 AM

Curry did not smell the blood first. No...rather, it was his poor, starving companion that reacted first. Mycroft reared up from his seat, unable to take it anymore, and had tried to pry one of the doors open. Curry had been forced to slam on the brakes, drift off to the side of the road, and put the smaller boy into a sleeper hold until he passed out.

Once Mycroft had been forced to relax, Curry finally smelled the blood. He made an illegal u-turn in the middle of the street and began to follow his nose towards the scent of the blood. Once he tasted someone's blood, he never forgot their scent.

It took a few minutes of searching, but he finally managed to locate her in one of the back streets. His fancy car had thankfully not attracted too much attention in the dark. He pulled up beside her, letting his window drop. "You're hurt...do you need help?"

He did not let on how he had found her.
