Angelous had just arrived in town and didn't know where to go. he needed food and a place to stay, but didn't really have money for either so he walked the streets and looked around. He spotted a coffee shop and decided to go inside for a bit to warm up until he can figure out what to do. The guy behind the counter gave him a dirty look when he only ordered ice water but it wasn't his fault he didn't have money. he was kicked from his home for breaking one of the laws and they really didn't let him take anything except the clothes he wore.

A demon by the name of Lucifer was sent from Hell and released to Earth on a specific mission: He had to spy on a certain angel that caught the attention of the King of Hell, but Lucifer didn't know why. But to avoid trouble with the King, Lucifer did was he was told and set out to complete his task, how to complete it was a little mind boggling since he didn't know what he was to be looking for, nor what the angel would look like, where to find him, or anything. He hopped from town to town searching for an angel but with no luck. The current location he was in also gave him no luck. So with a quick sigh, Lucifer escaped the outside world by sitting in the corner of a well kept, yet expensive, coffee shop. With an endless supply of money, he ordered just a basic cup of coffee to keep his energy up for the travels that would soon follow for his seemingly pointless quest.

Lucifer just kept staring out the window watching the humans walk by one by one. People coming and going from the shop, continuing on with their pointless lives. He paid no attention to any of them, all of them being the same and no longer had any interest to the demon.
