Victoria Burn, AKA the Gold Eye Devil, one of the most feared pirate's on the seven sea's, just docked at the port of the Kingdom of Greenmen. Of course at every kingdom there was a huge bounty on her head, but no one dared to stand up to her...The one's who did...Well, that should be left unexplained. What was she doing in Greenmen? There was a rich Nobleman named George who dared to stand up to her. So, her plan was to raid his house. That'd teach him a lesson. But she did want to do more. She planned on kidnapping him, and make him suffer for even daring to stand up to her. "Boy's, you know what to do. Go out, take everything you can from his house, take George, and then come back here...Scratch that, meet me at the bar. I'm going to get a drink." "Aye, Aye captain." They went their separate ways.

Victoria went to the nearest Bar, it was called Bluecat. She sat on a stool, and asked the Bar man for some wine. He knew who she was. Everyone knew that one Gold eye. No one dared to approach her.

"Hey, its the Gold Eye Devil! We should call the guards...Oh we could be rich!" "I wouldn't do that. I'm sitting right here, I can hear you." But, actually she was halfway across the bar from the citizen's. "You wouldn't want to mess with me would you now?" She smirked, and then took a sip of her wine. She liked being feared. Her crew liked being feared. "Erm...Are you going to pay for tha--" "Of course not." "Right..."

Lance was now working his way down the coast of his kingdom. He was currently heading to Lord George's manor. He had offered a place to stay while Lance was exploring this area. Lance only planned on staying the one night so as not to be rude. He already had a room in an inn in town. George was a rude and underhanded man. He taxed his people the most he could get away with and was known for taking advantage of pretty women.

But there was an advantage of staying with him even if just for the day. His parents had agreed he could go alone. George had guards so they would need no more. And they thought he was staying there for a month. So he was free for an entire month. At the thought a smile broke out on his face. As he walked up the path he saw the Lord running down a side path. "Lord George! Where are you off to? I thought I was meeting you at your manor?"

"Go on ahead. I forgot I had a very importent matter to take care of." The man turned and ran off.

Lance sighed. The man was probably off to sleep with some poor woman. She would be left with more gold then she would have seen in a lifetime but nothing more. Lance continued on up to the manor. As he reached the place he noticed something weird. There were no servants or guards around. Suddenly a man stepped out. He looked like a ruffian.

Love4Dreams 02-09-2011 07:55 PM

"You must be George." A tall muscular man said. He was shirtless, but covered in tattoo's. There was a tattoo that stood out from the rest. It was a bright red dragon running up his arm, and around his neck. The man grabbed Lance by the arm, and started pulling him over to the living room area, which was completely trashed, and full of men who all had a red dragon on them. Some of them had it on their head, other's had them on their legs. "This is the guy who dared to insult our captain'?" They all turned to look at him with grin's on their face's. "Let's rough him up a bit!" "No! the Cap' probably wants to take care of em'." They all 'Aww'd'. "C'mon Rick," "No. Now go get a empty sack or a blanket to wrap him in." "Aye." One of them ran off, the others gave the man a rope to bind Lance's Hand's.

"I'm going to be broke!" The Barman sobbed, as some other crew member's from Victoria's ship came into the bar. "Drink up men! It's on the house like always!" They all gave a hearty "Aye! Aye! Captain'!" Most of the Citizen's that where in the bar left. "I wonder what got her all worked up." Two middle-aged men asked each other as they left the bar. "Oh, I'm going to teach that George a lesson. I can't wait to Keel Haul em'. That's what he get's for calling my crew Cowards for serving under a female pirate. Oh, how gossip spreads."

(Sorry I sort of dragged your character...)

Lilith W 02-09-2011 08:13 PM

(that's fine, I kind of led it to that point)

Lance was shocked by the sudden turn. He started to tell them he was not that fool George but then what? He was dresses as a noble and other then George there were no other male nobles in this area. He never had guests either. They would not believe him unless he told them his true name but that could cause even more problems. It seemed George had upset their captain. Maybe if he kept silent until he met the captain he would be alright. He could explain that he was not George and hopefully the man would let him go if he gave them his jewels and gold. He kept silent and followed behind.

Love4Dreams 02-09-2011 08:28 PM

Victoria heard the door to the bar open, there was a empty potato sack covering Lance's head. "Alright, Good job Lad's. Let's get back to the ship!" She shouted, the crew answered back of course with an "Aye, Aye, Captain!"

The pushed Lance along, following their captain. People stared, but didn't bother to help. Once they got to Victoria's ship, the red dragon, they threw Lance to the floor, and left him there. Then they began raising the anchor, and of course began to sail away. They wanted to get away from the island since they had nothing to do there, and Victoria was wondering if she should just feed him to the shark's. But when she finally decided what to do, she walked over to Lance, and pulled the sack off his head. "Listen here George. Remember that time at the Bar? You called my crew cowards. No one calls my crew cowards. I have eye's, and ear's, everywhere. So of course those words would reach my deck. So I bet now you are wondering what I'm going to do with you--" Her eye's widened as she looked at his face. He was quite a handsome man. Not something she would expect from the famous crude, rude George, the lady killer. She thought he was just some Old man. "...Not that bad looking ain't he..." She muttered, before shaking her thoughts away, and continuing. "Now, I'm going to show you what we have to deal with everyday. Tell me if my crew is cowards then." "Aye! Captain Victor' Is the best!" "And no amount of begging will save you."

Lilith W 02-09-2011 08:41 PM

Lance delt with all the pushes and rough handling. But when he heard them moving away from the shore line and the movement of the ship he froze in fear. Then he heard a woman's voice saying she was the captain.

When she pulled the sack off his head, along with a few of his hairs, he stared up at her in wonder. Without thinking he blurted our "Your a woman?" Then it hit him who this person was and he paled.

It wasn't that he didn't think women were capable of doing something like this. Some of his best knights were women and he had seen many farmers' wives on his travels that could have easily taken on any of the males. No he just couldn't believe he would have to tell people a woman captured him. All of his friends, including the Lady Knights, would never let him live it down.

Love4Dreams 02-09-2011 10:42 PM

Victoria's eyebrow rose, as he blurted the word's out. "Yes, I am in fact a lass. But don't worry yourself with my gender in fact I-- Wait, you didn't know? The whole reason I'm doing this is because you insulted my crew for following me. The first thing I thought you'd do was beg for mercy, not confirm my gender." She glanced over at her crew. "You sure you got the right man? Was he in George's manor?" "Well, yes..and no Captain. He just came into the manor, we didn't find him there." "Well, he must be George, I mean what other noble lives on that side of the country?" She shrugged before looking back at Lance. "You, are you George? Don't dare lie to me lad, I can tell the truth from a lie, because I am a liar myself."

Lilith W 02-09-2011 10:55 PM

Lance sighed. He didn't know what to do but he could see none of these people liked George. It would be best not to be him and if he told them the truth they probably wouldn't kill him as they could ransom him. "First off I would never insult a woman or anyone following her just because of her gender. Now if she was a fool that would be different but I doubt that is the case here. Secondly, no I am not George. I was suppost to stay the night in his home. And George is a fool and coming close to a monster. And lastly, you might be a liar but I am not. I never lied to your men and I have not now either."

Love4Dreams 02-09-2011 11:12 PM

"Then...Who are you?" Victoria asked, while taking out her revolver and pointing it at his head. "You sound like a just man. How boring...I thought you where George, and I was going to have so much fun. Well maybe I can give you the same treatment as I would give that Nobleman. But you have some fancy clothes, so you might be worth wild. I ask again, If you are not that perverted George, Then who exactly are you?" She got a little closer, so close that the gun was an inch away from his forehead.

(Had to rush)

Lilith W 02-09-2011 11:20 PM

Lance's eyes got huge at the sight of the gun. Why did he have to go to that stupid fool's house? As soon as this was over he was going to do something about that man. Maybe bring forward some of the unsavor things he had done and was doing. Or even better, how he was keeping back more of the taxes then he was suppost to. His mother would love to sling him in jail for that one. "My name is Lance. Lance Greenmen. It would probably be best if you didn't shoot me. I hope to think my parents' would be upset. Though I am sure they will say it is my own fault for being around commoners."

Love4Dreams 02-10-2011 04:21 AM

Victoria looked over to her crew. "Looks like we got Royalty on board Lad's!" She placed her revolver back on her belt. "We all should just bow down!" She then drew out her sword, and placed the tip of her sword on his chin. "But then, why should I care?" Then she glanced over to her crew, who all started shouting, "Ransom! Ransom! Ransom!" "...I don't like ransom's. Only torture. Because one minute they're handing you the money, the next they have fifty guards on your back...But, Hey, Princey, How much money ya got on ya? You're a prince, you should have a couple of rubies?" She asked, her gold eye started to shine.

Lilith W 02-10-2011 04:34 AM

Lance could not understand his luck. First he was George and now the woman didn't want to ransom him but torture him. What was this day going to end with? That his parents had adopted a frog to take his place probably. At the woman's words he tried to smile and laughed slightly. "Um actually my parents decided that if I carried gold with me it would invite problems so they have sent out word that I can sign for something and that they will pay for it. I only have about the amount to pay for a pig on me for small gifts and donations. And I don't wear jewerly, just my gold necklace and my royal ring. Though I suppose I don't have that anymore." He pulled out his pouch of gold and silver, pulled his necklace out from under his shirt and over his head, and pulled the ring off handing them towards her. "Oh, I also don't believe in bowing. Bad for the back."

Love4Dreams 02-10-2011 05:05 AM

"Sarcastic, eh?"The Pirate captain snatched the item's away from his hand's. She opened the pouch of silver, and gold, and started counting it. But after the third coin she saw, she just said, "Here lad's, Catch." She threw the pouch behind her, and the men started fighting over it. She then looked at the ring. Put it on her finger, and then took it off. "Eh...I think I'd have problem's with wearing this around." She threw it behind her once again. "Catch, again." The ring it a crew member's head. "Ah-ha! It's mine!" But then another man came up, punched the guy, and then took the ring. "Wrong. Ha, Ha, Ha." Then finally, Victoria came to the gold necklace. "I love gold jewelery the most." She put on the necklace. "I think it brings out my eye, don't you? No? I'll keep it anyway." She then raised an eyebrow to the prince. "That's all you got? Really? Boring. Any of these really important? Gold necklace given to you by someone special? Do you want it back? I love a good story." She sat down, and crossed her feet. "Come on Princey. Tell us a story would ya?" "I think the captain's a bit tipsy." "Shut up, Joe."

Lilith W 02-10-2011 05:34 AM

Lance watched the small fights before looking back at the captain. "Well the ring is a family heirloom but I always thought it was ugly. The necklace was given to me be a noblewoman. I stayed with her family last winter. It was rather unexpected because of a storm. So when the winter holidays came upon us I had nothing for the family. I waded through snow to the town and found small things to give them. A nice dagger for the father, a thing of red silk thread for the mother, and a book of poetry for the daughter. They appeared to like the gifts and apolgized when they had nothing for me. Later that night the daughter gave me her second favorite necklace. She would have given me her favorite but I refused it. Mainly because it was worth to much to giveaway."

Love4Dreams 02-10-2011 05:55 AM

"If I was you, I would of taken her favorite. Might have been worth more in gold. But anyway, Boring! I thought this would have a much better story to it. The story is so boring that I want to throw this away now. But its so pretty that I don't know I should. But that's such a unexciting story to tell if someone ask's me where I got this dandy necklace. So I might as well make one up. You got it from a lass who was in love with you. She gave it to you on her deathbed, but then I stole it from you. Later when I tell the story I'll add much more action, drama, and gore!" Victoria stood up, "But this isn't a lot of money. You're worth more then this. I think ransom would be better. Ah, I got an idea. I think the longer that I keep you, the more money yer family will offer! And I've been needing a new member to swab the deck." She turned around, and began to head to her headquarters. "Keep an eye on him. I'm going to start righting a ransom note." "Aye, aye Captain."

Victoria shut the door behind her, and let out a large sigh. She sluggishly made her way toward her desk chair. "A pirate accent is harder then I thought." She muttered in a different language. Her voice seemed much more feminine, and elegant. "I bet this prince will be more troublesome, then fun. I'd prefer seeing George's suffering face...But this necklace is sort of nice."

Lilith W 02-10-2011 06:03 AM

Lance sighed. He whispered to himself "No it's not." The family had been noble but they were rather poor. Another year and they would be selling off their land and clothes to make it and a year after that they would be living as commoners. Giving him that necklace easily meant a year's worth of food they could have bought. Of course if he made it out of here he planned on changing that. He sighed once again as he stood up and a mop was shoved in his hand. Maybe if he did a good job they wouldn't be too bad on him.

Love4Dreams 02-10-2011 06:19 AM

About three hours later, many of the crew member's started mocking, and bully the Prince. "You missed a spot," one of them said as he spat on the ground, and let out a laugh. They all weren't the cleanliness of bunch. Some of them had flies fluttering about them. Other's had stain's on their shirt's. Other's smelled like a dead horse. "Get yer' lunch." A man bursted through the kitchen doors, and then walked down the stair's with a pot full of stew. "Yuck...Did I tell ye how much I hate yer cooking?" "Yes Joe, tis be the nth, time. But tis is what ye have to deal with till we find a decent cook. Maybe the Cap' will let us take a cook as hostage next time...And the ransom money will be carrots! Ha! Ha! Ha!" "I don't like carrot's." "Captain!" "Pass the food around, just don't give it to the prince. He's a prince. So he's ate like one. He has enough meat on his bones." She smirked. "Just make sure you all eat in front of him. If he beg's, I might be willing to spare a bowl." She said as she took a bowl, and scooped some stew out of the pot. "Mmm, Dosen't this smell good princey?" She started to wave the bowl around.

Lilith W 02-10-2011 06:31 AM

Lance sighed and just mopped up the spots. When the food was brought out he found that he was hungry. "I am hungry but it smells like your cook put a cat in there. Do you even have a cook? I think it is time to find a new one. I'd rather not eat something that has mystery meat and even worse mystery everything."

((sorry got to go to bed))

Love4Dreams 02-10-2011 03:37 PM

"Our old cook got thrown overboard for poisoning the food. But I think I'd prefer that, then this." She threw the bowl behind her, and it flew off of the ship. "Why don't you stop making stew? Just cook some fish or something." "Aye aye." The chief, a bit disappointed that no one liked his stew, walked back into the kitchen. "But princey. I think you should know your place. You aren't allow to make any recommendations, true or not." She sighed. "Make for the next town, We're going to buy a messenger bird." "Again?" "Oh! Oh! Captain! This time can we name it Fred?" "It's my messenger bird! I get to name it what I want Joe. It'll be Fred." Suddenly, the boat changed direction. "On to Mango Island!"

The sun slowly went down the Horizon. Still no sight of the island. Which isn't really surprising. "I'm bored. Hey Princey. Won't you tell us another story?"

Lilith W 02-10-2011 04:09 PM

Lance sighed. This was the most he had ever been called Prince or any form of it and he hated it. "Please call me Lance or at least anything but that. I hate being known as a title." He tilted his head to looke up at the sky. "A story? You disliked my last one. How about I tell you of my travels and how they were started?

He looked back down at the captain. "I lived up in the castle rarely leaving. I had no reason to since I had everything. Then I grew up and realized there were commoners and my parents did not really care for them. They cared only enough to keep them under their thumbs. I left and started traveling. I found commoners who helped me in times of need. Or at least in my times of stupidity. I met others who would slit my throat for a piece of bread. But really they were all the same. They just did what they had to to survive. But what was truely amazing was the nobles. Some were kind and just but many were horrible. They used their people like animals. Much like our dear George. I bet you didn't know but he is actually a young man. Everyone thinks he is much older but that is only because he keeps a man as his stand in. The only time the real one is out is when he is ruining people's lives and names."

He stopped then continued, "I know this isn't a story so let me try again. During my travels I came upon a well off farmer. He had many children but had lost his wife. They were a good and funny bunch and did all of their own work. One daughter was a goose girl, another watched goats, one pigs, while the sons did the farming. He had several other children who switched between jobs. I came upon them soon after leaving the palace. They found me funny and very willing to help. I would do anything to please. So the father sent me out to help his daughter watch the geese. When I got there she came crying to me saying she had lost their most special goose. It laid special brown eggs that tasted so much sweeter then normal eggs. Her father would be so mad. So off I went to search. I hunted all over the place bringing her every goose I found. She finally said I found the right one and sent me to her sister. Thus it went on with every animal till I was sent to the brothers. They had be search for the special grain, the best apple saying they had magical healing powers. Finally the day was over and I felt like I had run to the moon and back. When we sat down for the last meal they brought out all the things I had hunted for. The special eggs, the special meat, the special fruits, and so on. It was then I realized they had played me as a fool. Nothing was special but just the norm. They had showed me that I thought the commoners life was magical and full of fairy tales when really it wasn't. I would find no swan maidens, golden geese eggs, or golden apples."

Love4Dreams 02-11-2011 03:45 AM

((I like large posts...Sadly its hard for me to make them.))

The crew member's laughed at his little tale. They thought it was boring, and uninteresting. Victoria kind of thought the same way. "One, I'll call you what I want. Remember, I don't hold anyone ransom to show them kindness, Two, what they taught you was partly wrong." The crew member's stopped laughing. "Why do we sail the seas? Money? Ah yes, money is one of the reasons. But not at all of them." She pulled up her right sleeve, showing large amounts of scar's. "Do you suppose I got these scar's from some sappy little storm? Some wild little kitty? No." She pulled her sleeve down. "Princey. We've seen everything. You just have to know where to look. Golden eggs? That's easy to find. Golden Apple's? More common then golden eggs. Swan maiden's? Look at a pond near you. But let me tell you, they aren't that beautiful." She sighed. "You tell really boring stories. You might think they aren't. But you should listen to one of our's. Rick! Why don't you tell the prince a story? I'll take the wheel." "Aye, aye captain."

"Was at the very Mango island where are going. Right now it is such a peaceful city, but before it was one of the biggest slave driving cities in the world! The person who owned it all was Turner. We, where one of his allies. Victor, our very own captain, was only a wee little lass at the time. Though, she was as strong as any other man. But anyway, poor Turner thought he made another ally. Dante. Dante pretended to be a Noble, when he actually worked for the rebellion against his own father. The King of Gold island. Dante disliked what Turner was doing, so he, and this tramp names Rika, worked together to kill Turner. And they succeeded. Poor turner. Then they turned mango island into a paradise.

Well, the Captain, named the Ox, who gave Captain Victoria her title, The Gold eye Devil, didn't like Dante. So he asked Victoria, who was only Fourteen, to exterminate Dante's sister. Victoria, obeyed...And Dante...Was devastated. Dante swore that he would take revenge for his sister, but that Rika came in, and he decided not to. That's the sad part. Victoria wanted him as a rival, but now he's married, and has a couple of kid's. He settled down, His father is out of rule, he's now King of Gold Kingdom. But, some people say, Victoria lost an eye because of him. The captain doesn't say how she lost her eye, not matter how much we beg her to tell.
"

"I still remember the blood on my hands. I heard his heart break in two. I saw the thirst for revenge in his eye's. That Rika...Took it away from him. He almost killed me you know. Now THAT man is a worthy opponent. I'm sad to say that I didn't fight him again. He has a bounty on my head as well. But that will never happen because he won't go after me his self. "

Lilith W 02-11-2011 04:44 PM

((I do too. Sometimes it is easier to make them then others.))

Lance listened to the story and tried to rememeber what he had learned about Mango island. Sadly he could remember nothing. Well Lady Captain your story is a interesting one though sad. I am sorry about your eye and for the sister you killed.

Love4Dreams 02-11-2011 06:21 PM

The crew erupted in laughter. "He called her a lady!" "Princey, don't be. That isn't necessarily 'My story'." The crew got silent, wondering if she actually would tell them a story. "Don't get your hope's up Lad's. Anyway Princey, that was just one story. We got a lot more. And that little sister, she was nothing. Nothing at all." Victoria gave, a demonic, evil smile. "Captain, tell a story." "No. There are too many. Don't know which one to pick. I've been on the sea for nine year's. Far to many stories in each year." She sighed, and left her crew disappointed. "Captain! Mango Island ahead!!"

"Wow, Here already? From the looks of it it'll be about thirty minutes before we get there. Rick, tell another story." The crewmember told another story about how they raided a village. He told of the fear in the citizen's eyes. Victoria looked out into the ocean, her eyes gleaming. They crew enjoyed fear. They ate it up.
