"Well then she is stupid and probably jealous of you." He smiled as she kissed his cheek. He noticed the falseness in her words and in her tightening up but didn't comment. She was here now. When she winched he held her a little bit farther from himself. "Is your hand alright? Your side? I am not hurting you am I?" He was worried that he might have held her too tight.

Mellie shook her head and pulled herself closer to Rythen and sighed gently. "You could never hurt me," she smiled and nuzzled him. "I have a question for you, Rythen." She lifted her head and looked at him, watching him carefully. She wanted to speak up for herself, but instead, she wanted to wait for him approve. 'This is so difficult, but ... I've never felt like this for a man before,' she thought, biting her lip as she stared past Rythen, into space, her mind in another world.

Lucifer stopped when she mentioned him laying on his back. The last time he saw mother, she was on her back, dead. Never again has he liked sleeping or laying on his back. "I was fine," he said, smiling. "You're cute, no matter what you do." He was trying to change the subject, so she asked no further questions. He didn't want her thinking he was weak, and that he wouldn't be able to protect her. He wanted her to feel safe, sound, and always happy. This woman was beautiful, and she didn't even try. She loved her life, and how she lived her life.

Looking to Scarlett, he frowned slightly. "That's terrible ..." he said, softly. Running his fingers though his hair, he watched her facial expressions. "My mother was beautiful ... But bloody." His hand went up to his mouth as he felt his stomach turn, thinking about it. His mind was on her dream, and how shaken up she must have been. Worry struck through his mind, like a lightning bolt striking a house, knocking the chimney off, sending the bricks flying. "Are you alright?" he asked.

Mellie's face turned red as she thought. 'Come on, come on, come on!' she thought, yelling at herself, mentally. She looked at Rythen, and bit her lip again. "What do you see in ... Our future?" she gulped, her eyes widening. Inside, she was now screaming at herself, for asking such a stupid question to a man she barely knew. As she waited, she felt her face grow warm and morphed into a scared expression. 'Stupid ...' she thought, belittling herself once again. This had been going on for years and years, ever since that woman.

"Well.. your not the only fucked up on here." She said, putting her hands on his shoulders. "At least we have each other though right?" She asked, kissing his neck. "Just promise me that if were still around each other in the future.. and something bad happens to you that you'll find a little more strength to kill me too? I couldn't bare being alone.."She said softly, her eyes falling on his. "And even though I haven't known you long, I wouldn't want to live the rest of eternity without you." She said, her hand on the necklace he had given her. His mothers necklace.

Rythen looked down at the woman in his arms and smiled. "Well ideally I see us getting to know each other. I suppose dating as the humans call it." He paused then started again. "Then, maybe, getting married when we are both ready. I had always planned on finding someone and making a family with them. I would someday like children." He stopped again then felt like he had one more thing he should say. "While I might have flirted with Lucifer earlier without meaning much I wouldn't do that to someone who wouldn't do the same. He flirts with everything and could handle a little light flirting. I am not doing the same to you. I would not speak of such things if I did not truely care for you. Elves, or at least my tribe, have one partner their entire lives. We do not divorce like humans. The only time anyone in my tribe took a different partner was if they had died. He said all of this then realized that she might not want all of this. He started to regret saying all of this but stopped. Even if he cared for Mellie he could not change who he was.

Laughing Zalia was about to reply to Cire when the newest hunter came up to her. Looking up from where she was sitting in her chair Zalia gave Melony a smile. "It is a pleasure to meet you Miss Melony Hillard. I say you can stay as long as you want. I have to talk to the group first about everything but you are more then welcome to stay. We could use the help of hunters and we always love adding to our family. Excuse me for a second," she gave her another smile then stood up from her chair. She heard Mikhail say something and look at her. Stretching out her leg she saw that it was mostly healed now. Clearing her throat she looked around the room. "Guys we have some stuff to discuss. It seems we have a few new additions to the Circus and I want to hear your input. I have offered all but one a place here with us." She motioned to Melony with her hand. "We have Melony Hillard who wasn't taught by a normal hunter and only hunts corrupted supernaturals. She wishes to stay with us and I think it is a good idea. Then we have sister Rae and Roe," she motioned to them both. "They were sent here to die by their council and I think they would be a great addition to our family. Mikhail," she said and gave him a smile. "You will always be welcome here because you have naga blood in you." With a sigh she looked to the unconscious hunter and frowned. "Now that one we are going to lock up and maybe he will see the way after a few months. What does everyone think?" She raised her head up and looked at everyone.

When Zalia was done talking Chenol let out a scary hiss and glared at everyone. "Mikhail stays got it?" She turned to her sister who stood up from the bench and nodded firmly. Now that they had found one of their own kind there was no way the sisters were going to let him go, unless he chose for himself. It had been way to long with only just the two of them.

Rae stood over the downed hunter waiting for any movement. "Hm... his family might cause us problems then. And it looks like we just got your answer." She nodded at Zalia.

The two sisters both nodded when Zalia introduced them but remained where they where and silent.

"I think I like the ones we plan on adding to the family. I am unsure about the other male though. I don't think he will change his mind but people have before. I will go by what you decide Zalia." Ahanna stopped at that and wished Rythen and Millie would hurry back.

For a moment, Mellie was dumbfounded. She wasn't expecting everything so suddenly. Her lips curved into a soft smile, and she leaned up, ignoring the pain from the arrow wound. She pressed her lips to the side of his mouth, a soft kiss her mother used to do to her. Then, without hesitation, she tightened her grip around his neck, and closed her eyes. "I was hoping for that, but wasn't expecting it ... You're even more forward than I," she laughed, the lifted her head when she heard Zalia's voice coming from the main tent. "I guess we better get back ... And I personally don't like Lucifer ... He went from you, to Scarlett ..." Her voice was monotonous when she spoke of him, and she felt her anger boil up slowly. To get her mind off of it, she changed the subject. "We have to make an agreement, though!"

Lucifer listened while Scarlett talked, and turned his head to sneeze. Slowly, he turned back and watched the conversation. "He deserves to die," he hissed, his eyes fixed on the man. He was sick of his careless, stubborn attitude. "All they want is us dead!" Lucifer yelled, wishing for even the man, Mikhail, to grow angry and try some useless trick. His eyes pierced through the tense atmosphere, until he finally looked away, his stomach turning. Softly, he picked Scarlett up, only to set her back down on the bench, racing out of the tent. Before he reached his tent, he bent over, clenching his stomach, and vomited into a nearby bush. His body shook, his anger raging, but he kept as calm as he could.

Pursing her lips Zalia thought about everyone's words carefully. They were right it would be harder with this man but it was worth a try and they could get very valuable information. She was about to speak when Lucifer yelled and exited the tent. She watched him walk out with a frown on her face. "Well..I'll go talk to him. Ahanna will you show the sisters where the cages are and have them take Casimir there? Will all talk later about him I guess, everyone go get some rest the circus should be moving soon now that we don't have random hunters running around." Grabbing her staff she walked outside and over to Lucifer who was loosing everything in his stomach. "Are you ok?" She asked softly.

Chenol couldn't help the small smile that spread across her face, but it quickly went away at Lucifer's outburst. After Zalia spoke and left she turned to Mikhail. "Would you like to go get a tent? The circus will make you one wherever you want." She motioned to her sister who walked over to them.

She nodded, cotinueing what she did while listening to Zalia. Which meant that Cire had watched everyone their aura's from her place, somehow happy that even though she had 5 tails sticking above her head, matching white ears and whiskers with two hazy blue eyes nobody seemed to watch or mind her at all. The woman took a moment to think, then sighed, and went back to thinking again, giving each person a few glances extra. Then she gave all of the hunters a big smile, deciding that for now she'd let it rest. In the end she's probably the one with the most blood dried up under her nails.
''I guess you're all hungry, unless tonight freaked you out that much, shall I show you all where the canteen is after we locked our dear unconscious prisoner up?''

Casimir opened his eyes groggily again to see...A white fox! His breath caught in his throat at the sight of her and memories surged into his mind of an incident from so long ago.He'd been nothing more then a child,a six year old,sent off to watch the real hunters at work.Of course he'd been clumsy and had been caught,much like what had happened that day, a white fox had spoken up for him.The man had said that maybe someday this one deed would save some of their kind.The memory had been suppressed ,until that moment as it surged forth with full force."Hey you!White Fox!I want to ask you something!There was a man once,one of your kind.He saved a child-hunter do you know anything about him?"That was one thing he'd never done,was kill one of the foxes.Casimir finally knew why.

Melony watched everything happen in silence,now feeling a little left out.She wondered silently were the unicorn and pegasus had gone off to.She was lost immersed in a world she'd only ever been on the fringes of,and there was no one there for her to cling to.Already these people where prejudiced against her,since they only had her words to rely on.Truth was something a hunter never spoke to one of the supernaturals,that was what her mentor had said.

Colorful people ,walking all around,busying themselves as bees would.Taking care of their own,absentmindedly passing by those they didn't truly know.Strange to be an outsider when once it had been easy to belong.

Rythen's eyes grew large at the kiss and when she ended it he leaned down and kissed her on the forehead. "You did ask what I saw for us so I answered." He listened to Zalia. "You are right." He started walking out of the tent carrying her. "Now that isn't fair. I did the same thing. I flirted with him then went to you. I think he knew that our flirting was just that." He looked at her for a moment before looking back up. "What is that?" Rythen noticed the unicorn and pegasus walking around. They spotted him and walked over. The unicorn rubbed her head against him but he didn't stop. The unicorn lowered her head but followed behind him. The pegasus turned with the unicorn and followed them back towards the tent they had left.

Ahanna nodded at Zalia. She turned to the sisters and waited for them to grap him. She watched the man carefully.

Rae and Roe each grabbed one of the hunter's arms and brought him up between them. Roe turned to look at the fox woman when she spoke and smiled. "Thank you. That would be really nice. Rae never lets me eat before a mission. Makes you slow." Rae noticed the man come awake before anyone else and tightened her grib on his arm. Roe soon did the same on the one she held. The man would be unable to get away or grab another weapon. They both stopped and turned so that they were looking at the fox better.

Her eyes turned to the hunter, taking a moment to look at him as far as she could, laughing for a second. ''So much for being unconscious... I wondered when you'd 'wake up'. Never thought I'd be the trigger. And if you could describe him a bit, I would be able to help you out there. Even though you can count our species on two hands, without a clue I can't tell you anything without guessing, we save people all the time. Who knows, I might have a contract with him.'' She said, standing up, stretching herself, then walked towards the three of them. ''Of course, I can enter your memories myself~ We are very spiritual creatures, not every creature can do that. But let us save you the headache after that.'' She brushed a hand through her hair, giving Roe and Rae a big smile. ''My thanks you two, you've been very helpfull, nice and quite generous in a way, and I'm sure will continue to be. Sorry that he woke up when it was decided to give you two a well earned dinner...''

Casimir made no move to escape,he wanted to know who had saved him more then anything.The incident that before then he could not remember,that was the reason why the council had held his alliance in doubt every time he let one of the foxes go free. Looking at this fox before him,white and blue....Strange clouded eyes that drew you in,he shook his head rejecting the thoughts."He had the same coloring as you,except his eyes where a much darker blue and his tail was more grey then white.There was a another fox there,a woman, but she was of red and gold.She wanted to kill me on the spot...The last phrase was muttered,that woman still frightened him to death realized Casimir.

"He objected,all the others listened to him.I think he was the leader of those supernaturals. Finally done he felt himself go limp in the hands of his two captors ,exhausted by the effort of remembering so much that he had blocked out of his own mind. For the first time in his life Casimir's mind wavered a tiny fraction about being a hunter.Then the uncertainty disappeared as suddenly as it had come.

Melony heard hoof beats approaching the tent.Unable to help herself she ran out to find their source .A cry of delight escaped her lips when she saw the beings she'd so wanted to meet walking towards the tent.Ignoring the two people with them,she walked around to the side of the unicorn careful to move in such a way that the wonderful creature could see her every move."I've always wanted to meet a unicorn...", whispered Melony with awe in her voice.

Roe and Rae staid silent while the two talked. When the fox addressed them they both nodded. "We have gone longer without food and he seems calm enough for now so it is fine." Rae calmly told her. When the man went limp in their grasp they managed to keep him up.

The unicorn whipped her head around at the human woman.

Rythen watched as the hunter woman came out of the tent. Melony. She didn't seem to notice him and Mellie. She walked around them and started to move towards the unicorn. Rythen whipped around. "Stop!" He spoke to both the unicorn and the human. He looked at the unicorn. "Be good." He turned to look at Melony. "I'm sorry but it is always for the best to approach them calmly and slowly. The unicorn is female so it is best if you don't try to touch her. She does not like females and it takes a long time for her to accept them. The pegasus will be nicer though."
