Caleb smiled as he set the tray of sandwich items up closer to the older male. "It's ok. I'm told I'm too quiet for my own good." He shrugged softly. He pulled out a bowl filled with dough that had risen overnight, grabbed the flour and started rolling it out to make apple turnovers. Kyle smied himself. "We'll have enough for her." He said as he threw some raw strips of steak to the hawk and a large piece to the tiger. The two predators each took their food and chowed down.

"There are always apples." He said it like apples were the only important thing. He turned and ran out of the tent. As soon as he was outside he made a naying call. Even though it sounded weird because of the new throat it was close enough. Ash came running over but stopped at seeing him. She slowly came closer and sniffed him. Day leaned over and blew softly into her nose. She pranced lightly in place and rubbed her nose over him. "It's ok dear. Just a new form. Me and Melony are going to go get some food. I'm going to grab us some good stuff this time. Go wait in the clearing. 'k?" He watched as she pranced off with her head high.

Scarlett sat up and sighed, still holding Lucifer's hand. "I'll only rest if you rest with me." She said, lacing her fingers with his. "I know I need to be more careful... I just missed my que to jump by a few seconds and then when I landed I twisted my ankle and fell." She said, releasing her hand from his to put it on his shoulder. "Are you still upset with me?" She asked, biting her lip nervously and looking down at her hurt arm. She was so furious with herself that she missed the jump, and now she probably couldn't do her act for at least a week or two.

Feravin raised an eyebrow as he felt a surge in magical energy, thinking, "Greece huh? That's quite a distance... I'll have to be sure to include this in my report." He turned to answer Melony's question when she walked away. He frowned before resuming his smile as he turned to Cire, saying, "So, Cireminaelle Delindre, what do you do here at the circus?"

Aire nodded, somehow she found herself to be the most lucky person on earth. If that was possible.
When he started about repaying, she jumped to her feet almost immediately, taking a bite from the apple before answering. ''No, I don't think so. No one appeared out of nowhere claiming that he or she was my family after my parents were killed... As far as I know, maybe I moved away too fast. It would be kinda hilarious finding out that if I had waited another 15 minutes I'd be together with my family right now.'' She said, chewing with a broad smile, wondering about whether or not she missed someone.
Odd thing was, her sentence was just as bubbly as normal, even though it was something quite painfull.
When Jatan said that he helped people, she had to laugh herself. Looks like he is a not so deity saint after all!

Aire jumped up and hid herself when she heard voices, unable to surpress the now huge smile on her face. Mystery guy: Jatan. Realising the people sounded very nice, she rose again, her nose just above the counter. The cheetah had to keep herself from drooling when the scent of the things being prepared entered her nostrils. If only she wasn't so engorged in conversating with her avior, she would have noticed the people being there...
Of course, when Aire heard she would get food, her day was more than complete... And it wasn't even over yet...! Now, it would be time to introduce herself, as the people were very nice to her. Somehow, when she thought of this, she felt very small. ''Uhmm... My name is Aire, and, thanks a lot for taking care of me!'' The girl said, bowing deeply. When Aire actually bothered to learn manners, she was in Japan. And this was how she learned to express gratitude after all.

Cire nodded when Zalia mentioned they had moved. And of course, the fox couldn't help but laugh when the ringmaster's hair was messed up. A smile played her lips, and it lost it's meaning Feravin said her full name. It sounded odd on someone else's tongue, as if she did something wrong. Then again, she didn't so she shouldn't be bothered by it.
''I'm... Diversed, you could say. I take care of the animals, go to the market once in a while, uhmm... When someone says he or she will be late I'll let the visitors enjoy the animals untill said person is back, sometimes I perform myself when we are short on people. The jack of all trades really.'' A grin played her face as the woman noticed how engorged Zalia was with the tiger. Sure enough, it must be very tired to sleep through everything.

Following Day quietly she wondered what he would say once they were alone. Melony watched silently while Day spoke with Ash and tried desperately to stop from laughing. That scene had been absolutely adorable, it made her want to go over and hug the pegasus turned human. With a smile she went over to Day. "So shall we go get the apples, and carrots maybe? I hear Ash likes cotton candy too." Melony was so happy, yet she had no idea why. Her nerves were on edge, she was screaming at herself silently for having told Day so soon... But the blond woman was happy despite all that.

Turning Jatan smiled at the brothers. "Thank you." Then he turned back to the cheetah as she answered him. "So your name is Aire? A very pretty name. As for how you can repay me, I have a sister named Zalia. She's the owner of the circus, the ring leader. She needs someone to bond with, though she has Kita she needs someone more. Someone that would be bonded with her. I was wondering if you would want to be my sisters familiar. You both would be each others family. What do you think?" Jatan hoped he made sense and said it right. He didn't want to scare the little cheetah off. Aire would be perfect for Zalia and she would be perfect for Aire. The two seemed made for each other.

Day nodded and ran, or to his mind gallopped, to the mess tent. He stopped running though when he smelled the people inside. There were quite a few and most smelled like predetor. And you never ran where they were involved. He continued to walk inside but didn't speak to them. Instead he was distracted by the basket of fruit. He walked over and grabbed several apples, a pear, and a banana. He sniffed around till he found the carrots. When he had is armfull he looked around for Melony.

Aire tilted her head lightly, smiling broadly. The cheetah had always liked her name, it just had a gentle ring to it.
She blinked a couple of times, bond with someone and become that person's familiar? Of course, it would mean she had family, but she didn't know the woman. Then again, it would be more than interesting. Plus, Jatan wouldn't let her become his sister's familiar if he thought it would work out right? ''I think it is a slightly insane plan, doomed to fail or not work out in whatever way. Somowhow, I happen to love those kind of plans the most, since they have so far been the most interesting ever~ Which means I'm in for the sake of having fun.'' Aire said, sticking up a thumb, her broad smile showing perfect white teeth.

Melony walked sedately to the mess tent, taking her time. She followed after Day, a few minutes later, and nodded a greeting to Jatan and the others there before going to grab some food. An apple of course, one of the sweet yellow ones, and then she proceeded to take a pear and also made herself a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. Food in hand she smiled at Day before making her way to the clearing. She was too nervous to say anything to him, even such a small thing as telling him that she was moving on to their meting spot.

Day noticed that she had turned and was walking to the clearing so he walked out of the tent and then started running. Even in this form he loved the feeling of running. When he reached the clearing Melony was there and so was Ash. He walked over to Ash and rubbed his head against her in a horsey greeting. He stepped back and handed her one of the apples then walked over closer to Melony and flopped down. He didn't know what to say or even how to start. He had been in a human form so little that he didn't know the proper way of things. So he simply stayed quiet.

The grass was nice and soft, Melony just wanted to lie down but she didn't. Instead she watched as Day came running into the clearing and greeted Ash first before going to sit beside her. To cover the nervousness rising within her Melony bit forcefully into her apple. The sweet taste of it, and the satisfying crunch of the fruit helped calm her. "So, umm... Look Day, you don't have to make any decisions right now. I guess I just wanted you to know how I feel. It's become of a habit of mine, telling you everything, so how could I not say anything?" Melony wanted to be clear about the fact that, she had just wanted him to know. Day could take his time about making up his mind, and even if she would be anxiously waiting his answer, Melony wouldn't press him.

Watching Aire with interest as she decided Jatan grinned. She was a cute kid with a bright personality. His sister and her were going to get along great. "Don't worry my sister is an amazing person, you'll love her. She will love you also. We'll go meet her after we eat ok? I think you need to eat before you do anything else, you look half starved." He was so happy that she agreed. The two of them would be good for each other.

Day started chewing on a carrot. They had always been his favorite. He smiled when she spoke. After she finished he took took another bite of his carrot and slowly chewed it. He thought back over everything she had said. "More then friends? You mean mate.... no in this form it is date? It makes me happy that you can talk to me."

Once again Aire tilted her head, wondering how he knew if she was going to like his sister. How did he? She probably would, but none the less, wasn't that a bit too optimistic? Then again, she was very easy to like. So he was probably right. And he sure enough was righht about the food. ''Hmm, it sounds like she will like me... I'll like her none the less, she sounds very nice. The person who runs this place should be...'' She said with a grin, looking around to place emphasis on her words. She nodded when he started about food, it wasn't that she was starved though. As a predator you often look like she does, little succes in hunting and all.
''Can't wait, it already smells realllly nice here~!''

What a typical reaction for Day. He was so sweet. "Yes as in date!" Melony laughed as she said it, and quickly bit into her pear. She watched Ash at the other side of the clearing and wondered if the unicorn had anyone, or if there was anythign between her and Day. The two really seemed to get alone very well. "And I'm glad I can tell you things too. You're a terribly good listener no matter what form you wear."

Eating qiuetly, Kita kept her ears pinned back to hear Jatan as he talked about his sister. Having finished and cleaning her whiskers, she prowled close to the male as he mentioned this other feline bonding to her adoptive mother, part of her not liking him talk about this stranger encroaching upon something that was part of her territory. He had to have known that tigers were fiercely territorial, and while she could understand what he was hoping to happen, a part of her that was purely animalistic didn't like it as some of hers was going to be seemingly taken away from her. Curling around his legs as she checked out the other female. Watching this girl, she grudgingly had to agree that maybe she would be better to Zal than she, and that thought hurt. Deliberately she bumped the back of Jatan's legs as she ran from the mess tent and into hers without a sound except for one pitiful yowl.

Aki had finished her meal before Kita, and jump-flew around the area till she settled on Jatan's shoulder, watching everything around her. She too had heard Jatan, and could see his point but worried how her sister would take it. The avian seemed to sigh as she watched the tiger seem to slump before she took off, jumping down from Jatan to change forms and stand beside him. Shaking her head, she went to help Kyle wash dishes, quietly taking to him about what had transpired.

Caleb frowned as he grabbed the large bowl that had the sliced apples, which had marinated in their own juices with some lemon juice to keep the color, as well as some cinnamon and sugar, and set about filling the small circles of dough he had cut. After using all the apples he gave the bowl over to his other siblings and set about folding up the edges before setting them on the baking trays he had pre-lined with wax paper for easy removal. He bit his lip as he looked at Jatan through his bangs, not sure if he should say anything to him or not, and wondering if he even should.

Day followed Melony's line of sight and saw she was looking at Ash. He put out his hand then called for her. "Ash come here. Don't be a donkey." Ash came over and rubbed her nose on his hand then went and laid down behind them so that she was pressed against their back. Day handed her another apple. "Did you know that unicorns are completely pure? Pegasi are pure in a sense but not the same way. Unicorns are magic. They are not born as everyone else is. They are simply born from magic. They have families but the pureness in them never changes. Ash told me a long time ago that her entire family was pure white but that she was born on a cloudy day. The magic was tainted by this and that is the reason is that dark color." He looked back at Melony. "I think I would like to try dating with you"

The feel of a unicorn at ones back was like no other. Soft and much like the clouds Day spoke of, Ash almost felt like the perfect pillow. Day's last sentence finally sank in after a few moments. Melony nearly choked on the fruit she was eating. She put it down and turned to stare at Day before pouncing on the pegasus to give him a hug. "Do you really mean it!" exclaimed the young woman excitedly before pulling back with a smile. Not able to help herself, Melony leaned forward to kiss him softly before pulling back again with an enormous blush.

Feravin nodded at Cire's reply, saying, "Sounds absolutely fascinating. I haven't been given any orders yet, so I don't know what I'll be doing here... perhaps, if you ever require it, I could assist you with your acts?"

Day nearly jumped out of his new skin when Melony jumped on him but calmed down when he realized it was a hug. He started to respond when she kissed him. He took a moment to enjoy it then smiled. "Of course I mean it. I don't speak falsehoods." He could feel the heat in his cheeks and knew that meant he was blushing too but it was a new sensation for him. He reached up and touched his cheek then touched hers.

With a happy sound Melony leaned into his touch, and lifted her eyes to look right at him. "So what do we do now? A... Date maybe? " She reached out to brush some of Day's hair from his face, wanting to be able to see all of his expressions and reactions to what she said. Leaning forward, she put her head on his shoulder and looked up at the sky. Birds were singing happily, and Ash was actually tolerating Melony being close. It probably had to do with the fact that Day was there too. Laughter bubbled out of the young woman at a sudden thought. "I wonder how everyone else is going to react when they find out! We don't have to tell them right now you know, it's up to you."

Casimir nodded in agreement to the sisters words. "I know they've been protecting themselves for a very long time. Still, one can never be too careful." With a small bend of his head the young man took a step towards the entry of the tent. "If anyone asks, I went to the mess tent." With that he was off, alone in his thoughts as he walked the short way to the other tent. The young man was aware that he was breaking the rules of his promise slightlyu, but he wasn't leaving the circus. Delicious smells wafted towards him, and with a smile he went inside waving a casual hello to everyone before grabbing a delicious looking apple dessert.

Day sighed. He couldn't remember the last time he had been this happy. He wasn't scared, he had a lovely person who really liked him, and he now had hands to get his own apples. "That sounds perfect but... isn't the man suppost to pay? I haven't had any chance or need of money before." He tried to think up something. He wanted to do this right. He could borrow money from Rythen and Ahanna but he didn't know how to ask or even pay them back. "I don't want to keep anything from Ahanna and Rythen again and if they know it isn't right to keep it from the others."

Roe looked over at her sister and nodded when Rae motioned for her to follow. She had seen her sister glaring at the new elf and wouldn't want to follow but someone should keep an eye on Casimir. She followed him to the mess tent and watched as he got a dessert. She sat down at one of the tables and looked around at everyone.

Mellie's face turned red when he said that she annoyed him, but smiled softly when he finished. Looking around, she yawned quietly, it had been such a long day, so far. 'The ring,' she thought, looking to Rythen. 'When will he go?' She was whining to herself, trying to figure out a way to get him to go back to his tent and find the beautiful ring. Sighing softly, she sneezed and groaned. "Oww..." Suddenly, her eyes opened wide as she thought back to what Rythen said. She looked at him and blinked softly. "You love me?"

"I have to go out for a bit," he sighed, looking outside. "I am not mad at you. I have no reason to be mad at you ... Now, sleep." He leaned down and kissed her forehead, feeling his heart close off from the world once more. He turned around and walked out, heading to the practice tent to confront Zalia about Cyan. He needed someone to care for him, if anything should happen, and Lucifer was going to make sure it would happen. He reached the tent and looked around. "Is Zalia in here?" he asked, a question for anyone to answer.
