A frown crossed the young woman's face, that would make it a little more difficult but she'd been expecting the answer. "Do you have anything against cheese or pasta? And what about things made with egg, like bread and pastries? I don't want to give you indigestion!" Now that would be a horrible way to end dinner, or supper. Not the most pleasant of surprises either.
|
He thought about each food. "Well, cheese is milk and I've had that before so that should be fine. And pasta is just grain. I've never had an egg before but I could try it. Anything but flesh should be fine."
|
((papi, your character was talking with Feravin right? xD It would be nice to put it down, so people know for sure :P We're with so many after all!))
''Hmm, then we'll spend some time finding ot what you like to do... Later. I've got an appointment with an elf here, who I adore as family, so it will have to wait. But, you can look around at what the others are doing, make contact. Enjoy your free time.'' The fox said, ignoring the small... Stutter of his, if you may. No freedom, he was captured before this.. But not killed. An odd exception, slave trader? Then he'd been caught, and a slave collar should be around his neck, winged creatures always had that. Maybe he was released after a life of being a slave? Could be. ''Don't worry, we'll let you try out lots of stuff~ Who knows your hobby will be trying.'' She said with a broad smile, already thinking of introducing him to horseriding, swimming, flying for all she cared, swimming if he could retract his wings, football and soccer, fencing, kickboxing, dancing... Fun. When the new girl showed up, Cire took a step to the right so she could see the fox as well. It was nice knowing you introduced yourself to a person who already was in a conversation, in stead of ignoring it because from that perspective you couldn't see said person. |
Feravin nodded at Cire as she walked away, still looking lost, and somewhat sad, when he felt the tap on his shoulder and his eyes instantly narrowed and seemed to burn with bloodlust before glowing a soft golden color. In a flash of movement, he spun around, using his wings to trip Serenade, and drew his sword, it's magic glow basking the tent in light blue from all the raw power forged within it. Just as Serenade hit the ground, the tip of the sword pressed against her throat. From her perspective, he did look like an angel, but not the kind, peaceful angels in various murals. With his eyes glowing gold, his wings spread out, and the glow from the blade causing his armor to truly shine, he seemed like a divine executioner.
|
(Sorry about that! Yes she was talking ot Feravin, didn't see Cire)
Serenade was about to introduce herself to the fox-woman who had just stepped into her field of vision, when she found herself on the ground. Her back ached as she stared up into the face of the man she'd spoken to just moments before. Serenade didn't move an inch, feeling the cold tip of the glowing sword at her throat. Wave after wave of panic flowed trough her, until she closed her eyes and took a deep breath to calm herself down. "Nice sword, but I don't really relish getting a closer look." Inwardly the black haired woman was laughing at herself. A life or death situation, and that was all she could come up with! The panic she felt was just bellow the surface of her mind, she knew the only way she could get out of this situation was by talking. The angel seemed like the guardian of the gate to Eden, with a fiery sword in hand. Tough not overly religious, Serenade did have a poetic bent. "Mind letting me up?" Melony nodded happily, plans springing to mind. "I adore ice cream. That's something that you'll have to taste, maybe you'll like strawberry. O and chocolate! That's something else you have to try, and spinach pizza, very good. " She was going to enjoy introducing Day to different kinds of foods. There were plenty she was sure he would like. |
((cire didn't walk away o.o She took a step to the right because Serenade didn't see her.
Oh yes, GUYS, Im going to say this just once, to everyone out here. 1. God modding is not allowed. 1.1 What is god modding? It's making your character do something to a different character and write it in a way the other character needs to do what in the reply was said. Here, Feravin attacked Serenade, okay, she probably has little fighting experience and wouldn't be able to dodge, but a chance for her to actually do something instead of being pushed to the ground like a sandbag would be nice. Or a chance for someone to interfere as there are a lot of strong characters in the tent. *cough cough* Cire who's barely a step away *cough cough* Please make your character 'try' pushing another, 'feeling like they would' bump instead of just barging head on into the other. Dont ignore the fact the other character is able to react guys. Why do I say this? Because I've spotted it multiple times, and it rubs me the wrong way. Not to annoy you, just to give you a point to get better at. In my experience it kills roleplays, really, it did. Multiple times.)) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Cire knew, in all means, he was going to stop his sword at the last moment. Assasins were taught that, and since he had the reaction of one she expected his move to be as one. The woman still stood where she was, sighing rather loudly. ''You heard the girl, she doesn't like a sword at her throat. Neither do I 'like' the fact she even has to go through a situation like that, if you understand me. |
(T.T I mentioned that Serenade was about to say hi to Cire. And umm, I try my best not to god mod, and if I do... please send me a pm or something and I'll change the post, because I really try not to.)
Serenade gently tried pushing the tip of the blade away from her throat. She moved carefully, tough she was annoyed at such a greeting. Moving her eyes to to white haired woman she smiled weakly at her. "Thanks! I know this may seem out of place, but my name's Serenade. What's yours?" It was definitely different, looking up at everything from the ground. Kind of gave one a whole new perspective on things. |
(What I did wasn't god-modding. I tripped her character, that's all i did, i didn't beat the crap out of her for 10 minutes with everyone watching, it was just a trip and putting the blade to her throat)
Feravin's eyes cleared and he stepped back, the sword losing it's glow as he sheathed it, saying, "Oh, umm, I am... sorry. I didn't mean to do that." He thought to himself, thank god that wasn't training, I would've been punished for not following through with a strike! |
(You made my character do something, puppeting I think is the term. Anyway, next time just give me the chance to write up the reaction a to your character trying to do something. No hard feelings or anything like that?)
Serenade nodded as she stood, still quite annoyed. The young woman brushed the dirt of herself before facing the man with a smile in the white haired woman's direction. "Instinct right? Anyway, just try not to trip me up next time. My name's Serenade if you didn't catch it earlier." She extended a hand, expecting him to shake it. Tough in reality she wasn't sure what to think of the winged man anymore. At first Serenade had thought he would be nice, ut after this most recent incident she had to re-evaluate things. |
Ahanna noticed that Cire seemed to be done talking to the new man. She noticed the new girl but didn't put any mind to her. People came and people went. She carefully put the fire sticks out then placed them back in their box. She missed the entire sword incident simply because her back was turned.
Rae had continued watching the new man. When the new female walked in she turned to look at her but could tell right away she wasn't a hunter or a threat. When the man freaked out and drew his weapon she instictivily drew her own weapon and crouched down. She ended with her gun drawn kneeling on the ground. She waited crouched low to the ground for him to do something but when he put the sword back away she shoved her gun back into its hiding spot and sat back down. Day smiled. Food sounds like fun. He was happy to see her so happy about this. "I'm sure everything will be great. I have tried spinach before and liked it." |
((Yeah I know, it was quite a mean post xD
Indeed Papi, god modding is often called puppeting, since that term just gives away the meaning better.)) Cire sighed, he actually seemed to be quite a hassle. Maybe that's why she was uncomfortable .. But he wasn't completely dangerous, so she thought to give it a rest. In the end her head was full as it was. The woman noticed ahanna cleaned up, and in reaction she walked over smiling broadly as if nothing happened. ''Do you want to go~? I'm sure you've never before traveled by fox cloud, I can tell you, it's like flying except different.'' Of course, at the end they'd have to walk just a little for Cire to get into her weak human form. ''I thought it was smart to visit the human market first, and then move on to the more... Supernatural market. Believe me, we won't stand out in the least over there.'' |
Ahanna smiled as Cire came over. She nodded then remembered she was still her her lose fitting pjs. "That sounds like a great idea. Let me run and get changed first though." She ran back to her tent and pulled out the clothes she only wore when she went into town. She pulled on her jeans, a new clothing that she still didn't like, and a simple purple t-shirt. She didn't care for these simple clothes but they helped her fit in with the humans. She hated them mainly because she hadn't made them. She pulled on a pair of black boots and quickly put her hair up in a pony tail. She wanted to look as plain as possible. Her appearance couldn't be hidden but she could tone it down. She grabbed and empty pouch and her money pouch and ran back to Cire. "Sorry about that but I'm ready now."
|
Cire was just ready when Ahanna came back, the woman had made a small list in the meantime of what to buy, just to make it easier on them. And of course, their teleportation item to the supernatural market was not allowed to be missed. Without that little thing it was impossible to even get there. Luckily, they weren't hard to make, and the market would always be booming. The fox didn't need to change, she almost always wore human clothes as the clothes of her kind were... From her own home, and a bit too flashy for a jack of all trades in the stables.
''No need to, I had to finish up miniature loose ends myself as well. I even found myself a Cube I had bought some time ago, so usefull when shopping.'' The woman said, beaming with happiness as she showed the elf the seemingly normal box, except for the fact it glowed a light shade of blue, and seemed to twirl in the inside. The truth was, it was a small item in which you could store a huge amount of stuff and actually get them out as well. A small dimension storage, the cube. Expensive, but she was old and had more time to save money, put it on a bank and laugh as her rent just goes up as she gets older. |
Ahanna tilted her head and looked at the item. She had no idea what it was. Her town didn't have magic anymore and rarely saw magical items. And she had to assume the box was magical someway or why else be so happy about it. "I've never traveled this way so if I need to do anything please tell me." She didn't want to be a bother.
((You can move my character how ever you want to get us to the market. And I have to get off for a bit but I'll be back in about an hour hopefully.)) |
Cire laughed again, showing a thumb of her raised high. ''Now worries, the only thing you need to do is step on the cloud as soon as I have it summoned. You dont have to worry about falling off, if you can ride horse this is a breeze...'' At which she motioned the elf to get out the tent with the box in her hand, still having the white tiger cub in the other hand. Flying out of the tent on a lightly blue cloud wasn't really... Smooth.
''Ostendete.'' The woman said, a swift word meaning show in latin, at which, obviously, a blue cloud seemed to appear out of her hand. As if she was painting a cloud on a canvas. It was quite the stretched thing, being around 10 feet long and 8 feet broad. It was low on the ground so 'stepping in' was fairly easy. ''The box I just showed you is like... Our shopping bag. It is able to contain more than a regular house could dream of doing. A dream to hoarders, and usefull to those who are older than the regular human. I'd advice you to save money for one, if you don't have it. I love it.'' She smiled, putting down the cub softly, painting a bit of cloud over it so it had no chance of running away, without locking it up. Once Ahanna stepped inside of the cloud, it set off fairly quick, and high in the air so no human could make out their forms in it. If you don't want to stad out too many, that would be usefull... |
Ahanna laughed as the cloud took off. She carefully looked over the edge and smiled. It looked much like it did when she rode Day. But it was so different. The constant movement and change of postion wasn't there for one. "The box would be nice but I've never been one to keep much stuff. I have a lot of costumes now, and a lot more herbs, teas, and other things then normal but if I had to I could leave with one bag and have everything I needed." She shrugged, "I've always been that way. It would be nice to be able to put everything into one box but I try not to grow attacted to things. They all disappear anyways." She looked out over the clouds. "How far can you do this? I know that some magics wear a person out and make it so that a spell can only be cast so often, especially when it is long lasting like this. Is that true of you too?"
|
A smile played Cire her lips, and she thought about leaving, with only one bag... No, she'd be unable to do that. Then again, the stuff she had are all important in each their own way. Their value would always lay mainly in the knowledge they posses, since the most she possessed has always been books. Then again, she was in many ways a magic item collector.
''Ahhh, really? To be honest, I wasn't really able to place how you were around keeping items, keeping them or keeping distance. And it depends on what you have, whether or not it disappears.'' The fox said, enjoying the breeze, petting the tiger while circulary moving her hand, trying to sense how long it would take untill they'd arrive to the town. Less than two minutes. ''Considering the fox cloud is more like your own little element instead of a magic spell, a regular nine tailed fox can hold this out for a week without any training. I can hold it up for longer than say... A month? In my full fox form that is. With the five tails sticking out, I can hold this up for a week or so. Like magicians and their flying on broomsticks, once they know how they can hold it out for weeks. My parents thought it was important to be able to use my fox cloud for as long as possible. You never know, when celestial creatures are after your head it's usefull to have a vehicle which doesn't need to stop for gas.'' Cire said, tilting her head lightly. The cloud lowered significantly, untill it was so low they could stepp off again. She had made it stop in front of the gates, in the hope of turning more... Human, without anyone seeing... The changing, nor her fox form. |
Ahanna nodded. That did make sense. I need to research these things. Maybe a magical bookstore? "It would be nice to be able to buy books and now they would come with me easily." She carefully stepped off the cloud and looked around.

((I'm going to read through everything and then post! Sorry again guys! But I'm all done moving now and I'll be on waaaay more!))
---------- Quote:
Listening to Kita speak Jatan nodded along with her. He was so glad she understood and wasn't mad. When she scooted closer to him he gave her a smile. Then when she talked about her brother he started to laugh. "Oh that's going to be so fun to watch! Shall we help him? I love pranks! When I was around your guys age that's all I did." He laughed again at the memory of his childhood. "Thank you Kita for understanding." Reaching out Zalia ruffled up Caleb's hair and grinned at him. "Yeah you're right it had been pretty calm lately. And I guess it would be sort of nice to have some humor around here!" Turning to Aki she glared. "Yeah I would really like to know how he tye-dyed my hair also! You're right I do need to pay him back. You guys going to help me?" She asked with a grin. Then she turned to Lucifer and answered his question. "Sorry about that gotta handle my children." She said with a laugh. Then she brought her hand up and tapped her chin in thought. "Is she ok? I know a few spells I can try on her." She was about to add something when she heard a commotion to her side. Quickly looking over there she drew her staff out of her hair and made it grow big. Frowning at Feravin's actions she looked to the new girl and saw that she was ok. Slamming her staff on the ground a gust of wind went flying towards Feravin and hit him. It didn't knock him down just pushed his body slightly back, enough to gain his attention. "We do not attack people here Feravin. It would be best if you learned that now and quickly." Her voice was loud and clear, so everyone could hear her. |
((Sorry to those who had made a post to Kyle and I not respond to it....Seems that now hings get good, my family gets irratating more and I have to log off to something else to calm down >.>))
Kyle watched Aire quietly as he munched on his grilled cheese. "Kita, the tiger who left, is a bit sensitive as a human and very territorial as a tiger. Combine the two and it does kind of screw with the mind. But Jatan's sister, Zalia, the one he wants you to bond to his kind of like our mother. She's probably going to be a little grouchy at first but she'll get over it. " He replied softly before seeing someone else come in. "Hello Casimir. I'm Kyle Crimmens, currently injured and very much bored trampolinist." He was wary but the guy didn't have weapons while he did. Kita smiled happily, earlier unhappiness gone as she pulled the covers away from her body. "Well I don't know if we should. Zalia might still be upset from the last time Kyle started pranking people." She nibbled on her bottom lip quietly. "Then again, Aki, Cal and I couldn't participate since Aki and I were sick. And it had ended quickly because Zal had locked Ky up after he tye-dyed her stuff and some how her hair as well..." She still had the cute hesitancy about her as she thought thoroughly about whether she was going to prank her mother and sibling or not. She never was one to get in trouble anyway, but the thought of getting her brother back on some of the stunts he'd pulled on her was a nice temptation. Cal grumbled as she ruffled his hair, hands quickly coming up to flatten it out even as Aki laughed. They both quickly smiled at the older woman as she asked for their help pretty much. Turning to look at each other they shared a very strange smirk, one that seemed to radiate mischief and dark humor. Well it was strange on them since they'd always been so calm and brightly happy. Turning to look at her sharply in shock, the two shared very happy smiles as she easily referred to them as her children. |
Casimir smiled at the trampolinist. "Nice to meet you Kyle. Maybe we can both come up with something to keep ourselves occupied. A prank perhaps?" Casimir wasn't really one for pranking people often, but when he did for April fools day it was always something untraceable and extremely over the top. Like setting up an elaborate prank to make everyone think they were stuck in another alternate universe.
Serenade watched with amazement as the young looking woman shot a gust of wind at the angel winged man. Closing her mouth she walked over a little nervously. "Hello, my name's Serenade Royce and I would like to join the circus with an illusionist act." She presumed that she was the leader, or knew the leader. Everyone had said she was in this tent, and after such a display it would be foolhardy to assume that this woman wasn't the ringmaster. Melony laughed at that. [B]"Just wait and see! You'll love it! So, when are we going ot go tell everyone?"[/B A tinge of worry entered her manner and voice at the thought of how everyone else would react. "And.. Day have you ever heard of any other human/pegasus couples? It worries me a little you know, that we're of two different species altogether. Not that I've changed my mind so soon, I just want to know more about you and your kind. I don't want to make any mistakes that might drive you away in disgust." The thought was tremendously frightening. |
"Whenever you want to." Day noticed the tinge of worry and hoped it wasn't about him. "It isn't like we have to go out of our way to tell them. They have no say on who I date and I'm the magical one so they have no control over you." He thought of all the pegasus herds he knew. "No, I don't. Like I said most of us never change to this form. The longest I've ever heard of one of us staying in this form was a full day." He thought about her worry and knew that if things went farther they might be a real consern but right now they weren't too bad. "I don't see why that should be a problem. I have spent a long enough time around Ahanna and Rythen to understand the ways of this form. Even if they are elves and not humans they act close enough. I understand there might be misunderstandings and I will work around them." He laughed, "As long as you don't take up eating horse meat or ask to pluck my feathers for a pillow." He become more serious again, "no later that might be something we will have to work on." He looked into her eyes, "if we wanted to become more. The biggest problem I could see is that I highly doubt the mix of the two breeds would ever be able to produce a child."
|
Hearing that Kyle somehow dyed his sisters hair made Jatan start laughing hard. "He actually did that? She locked him up for it?" That made him laugh a bit harder. "Ok, ok that settles it. Were going to go help your brother." Still slightly chuckling Jatan stood up and held his hand out to Kita. "Come let's go to your brother." He said with a grin.
Turning to Serenade with a smile Zalia nodded to her. "Welcome Serenade I think you will enjoy it here. The circus already accepts you." At that she held her hand out and opened it. One of the circus rings rested in her palm. "This ring shows that your one of us. If the circus accepts you then a ring appears and tells me who it is for." She handed the ring to her and gave her another smile. "If you'll excuse me I must go check on Scarlett." She turned to Aki and Caleb. "I'll come find you when I'm done. We have a lot to discuss if were going to beat your brother." She told them with a grin. "Lucifer will you take me to Scarlett?" She asked as she turned to look at him. Hand in hand Azra and Chenol walked into the practice tent and over to Zalia. Chenol slipped a note into the ringmasters hand and told her to read it later. All she got back was a puzzled nod. Seeing the new girl the twins took a step to the side so they were near her. "Hello I'm Azra and this is my sister Chenol. Would you like us to show you around?" Azra asked with a smile. |
Aire nodded, smiling broadly. Aire would make sure to be nice to Kita, and leave them to have their space if the atmosphere even gave the slightest hint of desiring so. She didn't want to get in the way of the most important person of this circus after all. ''I guess... Thank you very much for clearing that up Kyle, being clueless isn't something I like. Moving forward is something too hard to do with a foggy vision after all...'' She said, blinking when another person came in. He had the smell of a hunter, but he seemed to be kind The people in this circus were after all. ''Pleasure to meet you Casimir~ The name's Aire, and I guess you call me that unless you're able to find a suiting nickname...'' She said, with her never ceasing broad smile. When they started about gags. she couldn't help but wonder where the fun was in tricking another person.
Cire nodded, placing the tiger on her shoulder, letting her hair cover it's wings. The cloud disappeared at the flick of her fingers, and the seconds after that she spent sealing her fox form, turning into an almost normal human with black hair and almost black eyes. Looking asian was one of the easiest forms to take on, since her heritage was on asian soil. ''Sooo... Silks, some pans since we have new people... Maybe some stuff for people to practice with?'' |
A blush crept up on Melony's face at the thought of a child, and though she wasn't planning on having any for a few years it saddened her that they would in all probability never be able to have any. "Let's tell them when we go back. The sooner the better I guess. She leaned a little against Day before continuing. "Will staying in this form for long periods of time be a problem? Because like I said, it doesn't really matter to me which one you're in. She laughed after that. "No plucking the feathers or eating horse meat, got it! Tough, umm if you do lose a feather would you mind giving it to me? As for kids, we could adopt couldn't we? If it gets that far I mean."
Casimir turned to the girl with an uncharacteristic smile. "It's nice to meet you Aire. You don't really seem all that much into playing pranks." He couldn't really think of anythign else to say. The girl seemed to have strange feline characteristics. A shifter perhaps? Serenade was surprised to receive the ring, and gave a small thank you. She turned when the twins addressed her and smiled warmly at them. "I would like that very much, thank you both. My name's Serenade, just in case you weren't there earlier." It seemed like the woman was repeating herself. She moved, glad she'd worn a pair of dark jeans and a white t-shirt instead of her more showy things. |
