Alice smiled when she heard Layla say they were family and said "Thanks, you guys".

“That is right Layla, we are all family.” Lena smiled as she moved forward through the brush. It wasn’t too long before they reached the area near the road. “Alec please keep a look out while I go back for my car. If something happens and I don’t return you guys just make a run for it and head to Dexter’s house.” She left the bags she had been carrying and left with a wave. “Be back soon.”

Stella kept a hold of Alice’s hand as she led her. When Lena said she was leaving she frowned. “Be careful.”

Ciaran had been standing at Lena’s office door with his head against it for a several minutes. He let out a sigh and frowned. His hand slid down the door to the knob. The door was locked for once. Looking around he was glad to see that there still wasn’t anyone around. “Since you won’t let me in, I’ll just have to let myself in Lena,” he whispered to himself. It didn’t take him long to pick the lock on the door to let himself in. “Lena are you really that mad at…” He was surprised to find the office empty.

Alice listened to what Lena was saying then after she left Alice said "How long do we wait?", she looked around hoping that she could find someone else.

After deciding what sense he would elimiate next Andrew stood up and walked out of his lab and locked the door behind him, he walked down the hall towards the patient rooms to check on Alice to see if his experimant worked. When he got to Alice's room he looked in and saw that she wasn't there, he walked in to see if she was hiding anywhere but he still didn't find her. He left her room and headed towards the lunch room to see if she was there, when he reached the cafeteria he walked in and saw that no body was in there. To him this was a little strange normally the patients would be in their room or the lunch room but Alice wasn't, he wlaked back out into the hall and headed towards the break room. He saw that Lena's door was open and walked by into the break room and said "Hey, does anyone know where Alice is I just went to go cheak on her and she was gone".

Dexter was not preparing the needles for any patients this time. He was preparing them in order to use against the bad doctors just in case they became hostile.

Alec nodded as Lena left and kept an eye out for certain doctors.

Alice let go of Stella's hand and sat down on the ground to wait.

Ciaran turned around when he heard Andrew. “I don’t know where Alice is. I haven’t seen her since you took her to your lab earlier. Have you seen Lena? I came to ask her something, but she wasn’t here.” He didn’t tell Andrew about how he had let himself in even though the door was lock because he thought Lena was mad at him. Without really waiting for an answer he shook his head. “Nevermind, it’s not that big of a deal. So have you looked everywhere for Alice? If she isn’t in her room or the cafeteria she might be in one of her friend’s rooms. Try looking in Kelsey or Stella’s rooms.”

Lena grumbled a little at herself when she cut her arm on a branch. It was a little ways to the employee parking lot. She knew the others would be fine with Alec being the look out. He would know what to do and how long they should wait for her. She got a few more scratches from the thick brush. She really wished she had thought this out better, but it was too late for that.

Stella sat down too. Crystal was telling her that now that she knew the way they should go back to take care of the bad doctors. “Shut up. I don’t want to go back in there. We don’t need to get revenge,” she said to herself.Her hands trembled a little as she raised them to her head. She just wanted Crystal to be quiet and stay locked away in the back of her mind.

Alice turned her head when she heard Stella's voice and then reached her hand out to her hoping to find her saying "Stella are you alright?", her voice was calm.

Touching Stella's arm Alice smiled and then wrapped her arm around her hugging her tight then saying "She better calm down I don't need you losing your mind and getting you hurt". She giggled softly and then said "Do you think they know that we are gone yet?".

Stella hugged back. "Yeah tell her," she giggled, feeling a little better. She thought for a moment about the question. "If they haven't yet, they will soon. Hopefully they won't until we are long gone from here."

Ciaran looked around the room as he waited from Andrew to say something else. He noted some of the things that were out of their usual place and a few things that seemed to be missing. Lena what are you up to? It's not like you to be disorganized like this and to be acting so strangely. Maybe I should pay a visit to Jason. "Out of curiousity have you seen or talked to Jason lately?"

Andrew looked around the room and said "Nope haven't seen him" he paused then said "But I did see Lena heading towards the patient's rooms and I figured that it was to get Stella". He looked around the room again then said "I didn't cheak the other room's but if she can't see then she could be anywhere", he turned and walked back out into the hall to try and look for Alice again.

"Thanks, then I'll go wait for them in my lab" Ciaran waited for Andrew to leave before grabbing a piece of paper and pen. He wrote a note telling Lena to come see him or call him when she returned. "Ok...so Jason seems to be missing or most likely has himself locked up in his lab again. Other doctors have been getting on my case about how I do things and Lena is acting a little strange. Like she is afraid of something. What could all of this mean?" He talked to himself as he left the office, closing the door behind him. Then it hit him. Lena's keys were missing. Maybe she was tired of this place and is planning on quitting. "I have to stop her. I might be rough and preform unorthodox experiments, but I'm not total heartless. She is the only nurse we have that truly cares about the children." Quickly he made his way to the break room so he could leave to try to catch Lena if she was trying to leave.

Lena sighed as she finally got through the thick underbrush. "What a nightmare that was. I must look a mess. I'll have to clean up a bit before going to get the kids." She straightened her hair and clothes a bit before heading towards the edge of the woods closest to the employee parking lot. "Finally."

Alec stayed alert and was keeping track of time. He hoped that Lena would come soon, or they would have to walk to Dexter's house. He heard Stella, but Alice was handling it. Besides, Layla could claim people better than he could.

"Crystal, you better not come out now. You will cause more trouble than good for everyone at this point." Layla said calmly.

Alice smiled when she heard Stella all she hope was that they hadn't figured it out yet, she sat the quietly and waited.

Kelsey stayed quiet beside alice.

Cassie stayed in her office. She was doing some paperwork. she would give the others info if they hospital sent anyone to search for them.

Ciaran exited the hospital and headed towards the employee parking lot. He hoped that he was wrong about his theory. In his mind he was starting to curse himself for falling for Lena when she didn’t seem to be interested. Lena deserves better than me.

Lena was huffing by the time she reached her car. I gotta hurry. She unlocked the car and got in. Grabbing a cleaning wipe she wiped the dried blood from her arms and the one spot on her cheek. Then she proceeded to pull small leaves out of her hair. “So annoying,” she grumbled. It took a little bit, but she finally got most of them out and straightened her mess hair. She started the car and backed out of the spot. While leaving the parking lot she cursed under her breath because she seen Ciaran out there. Please don’t see me. She quickly drove down the road by the woods towards the spot she had left the kids.

“Yeah, Crystal listen to them. See, no one wants you to come out.” Stella said trying not to laugh. What was happening only angered Crystal. Stella you are nothing without me. Without me you are weak and a push over. So let me out so we can be strong. Crystal was trying harder to get out, but with the support of her friends Stella was able to keep holding her back.

Alec knew that they only had a few more minutes before they would have to leave. He hoped that Lena was on her way.

"Crystal, I know you want to get those doctors back, but now is not the time. They will get what they deserve, but we need to get out of here first. You need a plan, and it would be unwise to just barge in. I know you would not want Stella to get hurt, and she will if you act irrational." Layla said gently, hoping that will help Crystal claim down for a bit.

Alice looked over at where she knew Stella was and said "We can't have anyone getting hurt", she smiled and then looked down at the ground and said "Do you think Lena is ok?"

Alice looked at where the voice came from and said "If she does then I hope he helps her sooner", she smiled and then looked down at the ground.

“Thank you Layla for trying to reason with Crystal.” Stella smile softly. She sat there quietly. Crystal was finally starting to give up and go back where she belonged in the back of her mind. “I think it’s working.”

Lena slowed her car as she approached the area where the kids were. She pulled over and stopped when she thought she had the right spot. Before getting out she checked the mirrors to make sure that no one was following her or coming up the road. A small sigh of relief escaped her lips as she got out. That was kind of close. “Yeah Alec, Layla, Alice, Kelsey and Stella, you guys come on. We need to get out of here. Ciaran might have seen me in the parking lot.” She spoke loud enough so they could hear her, but made sure it wasn’t a shout, just in case Ciaran was on his way down the road.

Ciaran noticed a car leave the lot, but he couldn’t be sure that it was Lena or someone else. So he continued to where she normally parked to have a look. Upon getting there he discovered that it had been her he seen leave. “Damn it. I missed her. Well maybe she’s just going out for lunch. If she doesn’t come back then I’ll try calling her or visiting her.” He nodded to himself as he decided on his new course of action. Better get back to help look for Alice and see about getting Stella for her check-up. Slowly he made his way back to the hospital. He hadn’t noticed the few drops of blood on the asphalt.

When Andrew made it to the patient wing he began looking in Alice's friend's rooms, what he found was shocking there was no one in Stella's room, no one in Kelsey's room, he even went to see if she was in Layla's and Alec's room. Seeing as they were all missing he decided to go and cheak the cafeteria one last time, when he got there was no one in there either. This was strange to him and he started to walk through all of the halls calling each of their names "Alice, Stella, Kelsey? Where are you", he didn't bother calling Layla or Alec's names knowing that they were Dexter's problem not his.

Alec smiled when he saw Lena. One more minute and they would have been gone. "All right, everyone, into the car." He said, letting the girls go on first. "Oh, Kelsey, you are going to need to sit on someone's lap. You could sit on mine if you like."

Layla let the other girls into the car before she went in, and then, Alec followed her.
