She likes to express herself and she loves nature and the outdoors and hates to be in one room for a long time. |
Nicholes walked threw the forest with a backpack on his back. He was headed towards the next city since he was told that this place might hold something special. He wasn't sure what was so special but he couldn't wait to find out. He always liked finding something rare and new. It was one of the reasons he traveled so much. He wanted to see thing and not just stay in one place to long. There where a few other reasons and this was one out of the many.
He smiled when he got to a nice clearing and decided to take a rest for a little while. He slipped his backpack off and then sat down and started to pull out some food. He had some bread and a apple. He was running low on rations and needed to save the rest till he got to the next town. Then he would gather some more rations before he left the city and then continue on his way. He smiled as he started to eat and let his human disguise. His bright blue hair and pointed ears showed. When he put his disguise on he looked like he had regular ears and black hair. But the disguise got eritating so he liked to keep it off as mich as possible. Part of him wished that humans knew about there kind so they didn't have to hide. But If they did know they would probably freak and do these weird things to them so he was happy with how things where. |
Kuziko a young butterfly girl lived usually in the grass underground to hide her race. Her race was very rare. They could be as small as 6 inches. They usually werer 6 inches but only to stay in disguise. But they could be normally tall like humans. They appeared to look human except some had elf-like ears and wings. Some had just wings. They are similar to fairies. Most of her kind lived in forest or bird houses even. All of them got along with the natures creatures such as lady bugs,bumble bees,grass hoppers and including fairies. Most people of the butterfly race were forbidden to go to the upper ground where the humans were since they could easily be captured.Kuziko though wanted to feel free. She never listened to anyone. She was oblivious.
Kuziko was in the upper ground in the forest. She wore a white dress that went to her knees and had long sleeves but her shoulders were bare. She wore no shoes. She liked the feeling of the grass on the sole's of her feet. She had a flower-like head-dress on her head. It made her look like she was very down to earth. Her skin was pale and she walked very elegant and free spirited like. As she walked through the forest she was enjoying the freedom so much she actually began to sing not fearing anyone or anything could see or hurt her. Kuziko never understood or payed attention to the dangers of the human world. She just wanted to live free-spirited like she did back where she lived. While she walked through the forest and singing too, she noticed a young man. she peeked out a bit seeing he was reading. she smiled and snuck behind him a bit. "Hi there!" she said excitedly. He could tell she was inhuman. Her wings were showing and he could tell she was clueless about the human world. She only knew about her own world and what she wanted. To live free spirited with no rules. |
Nickoles was enjoying his food and once he was done he pulled out a book and started to read a little bit. This always put him in a good mood and he could never get enough of books. When ever he went to a town he had to take one or five books with him. THough this was the last of the books he had bought at the last town so he also had to add books onto his list of things he would need to buy before he left.
When he heard the girl behind him he jumped slightly and then looked at her. She looked cute and innocent. The look on her face told him that she didn't know much about the world and by the wings he could guess that she was of the butterfly people. They usualy where underground so why was she up here and talking to him. "uh hello, what can I do for you ms?" he asked as he looked at her and calmed down a little bit. He then put his book away and studied her a litlte bit. Her wings where beautiful and she looked exactly like the little versions he had seen. He wondered if there was something going on in her village or something. |
Kuziko smiled at the young man. "I don't need anything in particular. I actually wanted to talk to you for the fun of it!" she said cheerfully. "My name is Kuziko what is yours?" she asked smiling cheerfully. Kuziko wanted to make friends or talk with the people up here. She hated always being underground not knowing anything about the upper ground people. Though little did she know the young man was an elf and not a human. But She didn't notice.
She played with the young man's hair twirling it a bit. "So you like to read? i like to read too. I also like to be outside and adventure around. That's why i am here. my family doesn't let me out of where we live but i don't listen to them." she told him. "They usually go on about people are bad up there and will kill you and all but i don't believe what they say." she said giggling a bit. She was a bit bubbly in the head. But thats what makes her personality truly different then most of the others of her race. She was one of a kind. Most of the butterflies hide and don't want to be near humans because they fear them. But Kuziko is different. She wasn't afraid of anything. She may seem like an innocent girl but beyond that she could be strong when she needed to be. |
Nickoles looked at her and studied her for a little while. Kuziko was one interesting girl, most people wouldn't dare come up and start to talk to some random. So talking to her like this was kind of weird and yet refreashing. She was so inoccent and it was nice to talk to her.
"yes I love to read, I love it so much that I have bought mroe books that more people can count." he said as he smiled at her, "I also like to travel, it is one of the reasons I am here now. I dont really like to stay at one place to long, infact I think I only visit my house every once in a while. But I am happy with my life." he said as he smiled at her and found talking to her was alot more fun then he first thought. "and your right not all humans and other creatures are bad. But I hope that doesn't apply to elves since I know for a fact that we are kind people." he said as he smiled at her. "so what are you doing up here?" he asked. |
Kuziko giggled. "I usually spend all day reading. the total books i can read in one day is 12. I'm a fast reader." she said with a smile. "I don't think elves are bad at all. At least i hope not. Elves are very kind. At least what i have read about them says they are. Though then again all my kind thinks is other beings besides fairies and nature beings are dangerous. But i think they are wrong. Not every creature is dangerous and evil." Kuziko said with total confidence. She stretched a bit and sat next to him.
"I'm actually up here in secret. No one knows I'm up here. I'm usually not allowed to be in the upper grounds but i wanted to discover the upper grounds. I'm a curious girl. I wanted to observe what humans do. I don't even think humans know our existance unless their family ancestors or relatives were fantasy creature related you know what i mean? I don't think humans are dangerous. sure they can be usually armed but maybe they are trying to protect themselves.." Kuziko rambled on. |
Nickoles looked a her a little surprised, "wow, that is alot of books. I try to space out my books, try to enjoy every single moment I can so I usually finish a book in one or two days." he said as he looked at her and smiled. He then nodded as he listened to her and looked straight at her. "I can tell you right away that your right Elves are very kind. YOu should guess this since I am one and your right not all creatures are dangerous or evil. Everything has god inside them." he said as he looked at her and was glad she joined him on the ground.
NIck then nodded and smiled, "your right, they dont know about any mythical creature. It is great that your curious but you have to be careful, humans can do stupid things." he said as he looked at her. "they aren't dangerous they just do really stupid things. So you just have to be careful around them. BUt it is interesting to watch them, the things they do are weird and yet they have reasons for doing it." he said and wondered what it was like not to be a elf. It would be hard since with elves you could talk to a few animls and the nature was your home. If he was a human none of that would be true and he didn't like the idea of it. |
Kuziko realized when he said he was an elf he was an elf. "Wait...your an elf? really?" she asked. "well then its an honor to meet you. I am honored to meet someone of your kind." she said with a smile as she layed her head onto his shoulder a bit. "So you travel eh? Whats it like? do you travel all over the world? Why do you travel? do you like to travel because you get to see different places?" she asked looking up at him. He would notice as she looked up at him that she had a beautiful shade of purple in her eyes. Her eyes were a very vibrant color. It made her petite figure and porcelian skin with her blond hair match very well.
"you sure don't look like you are an elf. Do you use a disguise of some sort?" she asked. "i think we would make a very good team. We should be friends." she said with a smile. "i don't think i caught your name. i know i am a stranger and all but you can tell me." |
NIckoles smiled at her, "yes I am really a elf." he said as he smiled at her but was surprised when he felt her head on his shoulder and looked at her, "Traveling is alot of fun, you get to see things and met people that are very interesting. I think I have almost traveled around the world but I dont really keep track of where I go so I am not sure if I have or not. I also like to travel because it is alot of fun and I have my reasons." he said as he looked at her and saw her beautiful purple eyes. He coudlnt' look away and he wondered if all the butterfly people had suck beautiful eyes.
He then nodded, "yes I have to keep a disguise up so that the humans dont know about elves. I could show you want I look like if you want." he said as he smiled at her and wondered if any humans might come by. If they where seen it could cause trouble but so far no one had come so they would probably be okay. "and I do think your right about that, we shoudl be friends. oh and sorry my name is NIckoles but you can call me Nick for short." |
"i see. Well it is very nice to meet you Nick. For a nickname you can call me Kuzo if you would like to." she said with a smile. "I would like to see what you look like if that is possible. I've never seen a real elf except for in a book. My mother thinks i only read fairy tales but i don't only read fairy tales. I read all sorts of books. I love to read." she said with a smile. "then it is settled. you and I are friends." she then shifted and was sitting in front of him with her hand out. She wanted to shake his hand.
"I have a good feeling we are going to be friends for a while. Or maybe even longer then a while." she said cheerfully as she smiled at him. |
Nick smiled at her and shook her hand happily. "I can tell that you like to read and it is good that you read fact. The knowledge you learn from them may come in handy somewhere along hte road in life." he said as he smiled at her and was glad he had her for a friend. She was interesting and he hoped that he stayed friends with her. "yes, hopefully we will be friends for years to come." he said.
He then nodded, "sure I can show you want I look like but it isn't much different." he said and then closed his eyes. THe air took a heavy feel to it around him and as he opened his eyes the disguise lifted. His blue hair showed and his pointed ears where out in the open. "see, I am not much different." he said as he looked at her. |
