"Very noble of you." Alma said to him.

"Just doing my duty" Rick continued to hold Alma's hand. "You'll be glad to know that your mech is back in working condition"

"Commander" Alma interrupted him while he mentioned her mech. "How long do you plan on holding my hand?" She asked him. Opening her eyes slightly and raising a brow.

Rick had forgotten about it. "Oh, sorry" Rick let go of Alma's hand. "I didn't mean to be unproffesional"

"Its alright." Alma said to him. She sat up a bit. Rubbing her shoulder. "That is good about my mech though. Honestly I wasn't too worried about it. After being brought there after all."

"We got there just in time. They were about to grind you up and extract your DNA"

"No no" Alma said holding her head. "There were others. Hooked up. Almost like they were being studied. Every one was asleep."

"Well, whatever they were doing, we stopped them. You just get some rest" Rick got up and left the med bay.

"Yeah, Good Idea." Alma said. She laid back down as Rick left. Falling asleep right away. Although she did not sleep threw the night. Waking up every now and then.

Rick returned to his quarters. He got a few hours sleep when he was awoken. He answerd his computer and got new orders. To with the invasion of one of the five homeworlds of the SCA.

In the morning, Alma was feeling fine enough to walk around. But she was still very sore. She wore a pair of sweat pants and a long sleeve black shirt. Something simple and light since anything else right now harmed her. She was sitting in her room at her desk.

Rick knocked at Alma's door. "May I enter?"

"Yes" Alma said to him. She would have gotten up, but instead just turned towards the door. "Its open"

Rick opend the door and came in. "I need to tell you that we are to help attack one of the five homeworlds of the SCA. I am telling you in person because I want to know if you're ready for combat again"

"It depends on when the attack is." Alma hated admitting it, but her body was literally black and blue from over use of her suit. "I will be in a little while though. I'm still very sore."

"We arrive in three days. Just rest up until then" Rick turned and left Alma's quarters to inform the rest of the crew.

Drake was down in the mess hall. Eating with a few of the other men.

Alma nodded. Going back to her book as he left. She eventually got up, and went over to her bed, laying flat on her back.

Rick made the annoucement to the rest of the crew in the mess hall that in three days, they would assist tin a ttacking one of the five homeworlds of the SCA.

Drake was a bit excited at the news. Wounding the SCA was very easy after all. The SCA probably did not believe humans could advance so fast and become a threat.

Rick went to the traing room and hit the weights.

Alma, growing incredibly bored decided to push herself a bit. She went down to the training room. Going right for the sparring ring. The thing about Alma was, she hated admitting to having to rest. But she would also probably push her body to the point past every bone in her body was broken. She entered the ring, and started the fight.

Rick was doing chin ups when he saw Alma step into the ring. He wouldn't try and stop her. He knew that she was a fighter to the core.

Alma took down her opponent in a few quick moves. She was slightly off of coarse. The man got back up for round two, which now he knew he could not underestimate her. He fought much harder. Knocking Alma down with a swift kick to the side. She stayed down for a few seconds. Taking a quick breather she got up, knocking his feet out from under him and pinning him down. She got out of the ring, grabbing a towel and dabbing the sweat from her forehead. She hadn't even noticed Rick.

"Another victory, as always" Rick said as he approached Alma.

"Yes, of coarse." Alma said turning towards him.
