"Hmm...maybe I will..." Thyra murmured, yawning slightly as the warm rayes of the sun and the relaxed atmosphere caused her body to begin to slow, her muscles to feel heavy as the relaxing feeling overcame her. At Rue's description of her eyes and her rushed, stuttered afterstatement Thyra chuckled, amused despite herself. So the human liked her eyes did she? Interesting.
"Well thank you," she said, her amusement clearly audible in her words. "I don't think I've ever heard my eyes described in such a way before. Now I believe it's my turn to pay back the compliment..." she paused for a moment, taking in Rue's appearance carefully. The human was quite a sight, especially under the rayes of the sun. "You are definitely darker skinned than I, not a hard feet since I am an ice fae and naturally as pale as the snow. It suits you perfectly and although most humans might not see you as very tan among my people you would be considdered almost golden."

Rue blushed at the compliment Thyra payed her. In town she was the palest person in her village. It bothered her a bit because she always got rude comments from people. Thyra's compliment, however, made her just that much prouder of her coloring. She would forever think of that palace Thyra described and the people there and know that at least somewhere in the world, there was a place where she just might be considered pretty. Smiling Rue asked Thyra, "When do you think you'll come back next? I'd love to see you and talk to you again." Then looking at the sun's slow trek across the sky, Rue started. "It's almost time for me to go!" Panicking Rue bolted up and began to look for her pack. Finding it lying under a rock Rue gathered her plates and dishes and her book of poetry. Then thinking better of it Rue handed the book to Thyra, "To remind to to return."

((I am REALLY sorry that it's taken me this long to reply to this RP! I've been having comuter problems lately (a lot of them) and since it's spring break here I haven't been able to use the library computer so...I'm really sorry!))

Thyra blinked in surprise as Rue handed her the book. She glanced down at the title and realised that it was a book of poetry. She glanced up at Rue and her eyes glinted off the dying rayes of the setting sun.
"I will take good care of it," she promised, fully intending to keep the promise to take care of the book and to return. "As to when I can visit this place next...I am unsure. I think within the next couple of days though. If not tomorrow then definitely the next day." An unwilling smirk pulled at the corners of her lips. "After all I can barely go one day without encurring the displeasure of my parents and this place helped me forget about them for a time."
She too stood and dusted herself off before whistling. Lelouch stood from his position sprawled out over the rocks and trotted to her side. He looked between the two females before huffing and butting Rue's side with his head before trotting around Thyra and doing the same, seeming to nudge them closer together. When Thyra didn't step forward like he clearly wanted Lelouch huffed and seemed to grumble under his breath before turning and swatting her with his tail.
"What's with you Lelouch?" Thyra asked, raising an eyebrow at the strange behaviour of the black winged wolf. This was definitely strange behaviour.

Rue smiled at Thyra then gasped as her pet Lelouch nudged at her leg with his head, "Oh!" Rue watched as he did the same to Thyra. When she didn't move forward Lelouch swatted at her with his tail. Smiling Rue spoke up, "hahah ummmmn, I think he wants us to get closer . . . ." A fierce blush rose to Rue's cheeks as she stated her thoughts. Lelouch was actually quite nice come to think of it, good animal. Rue brought her hand up to play with her hair as she thought. "hmmm perhaps a hug would satisfy him?"

(It's fine, i've been really smashed with school so I haven't been on either. :) )

"Is that what you want Lelouch?" Thyra asked, tilting her head as the winged wolf's tail picked up in speed and he gave a quick, short, sharp bark. Taking that as a yes Thyra turned back to her human companion. "It looks like it." She noticed the blush on the other female's face and she mentally shook herself before grinning slightly. "Well if Lelouch wants us to hug then who are we to refuse such a proud, brave wolf?" Said wolf gave a slight growl of irritation before running around to Thyra and pushing her forward more forcefully. Thyra laughed before finally complying. She stepped closer to the human, opened her arms and carefully embraced the other female, being careful not to use too much strength in case she accidentally injured Rue.

Rue watched as Thyra consulted her wolf and laughed when Lelouch seemed to urge them on. Finally pushing Thyra closer, yet again, Rue felt her liking for the wolf grow. He had good judgement. Well she thought he did anyway. Rue felt all embarassment melt away at Thyra's touch. She was icy cold, yes, but in her embrace was something warmer. A heartfeltness that was quite nice. Rue let her hands tangle in Thyra's hair for a moment before allowing herself to carefully explore the gentle curve of Thyra's waist. Pulling back Rue placed a quick kiss on Thyra's cheek then grabbed her bag and began to run back toward her village. Turning back at the edge of the trees she waved goodbye and shouted, "I'll see you later Thyra!"Once safely within the thicket of trees Rue looked skyward and watched Thyra and Lelouch take off back toward their homeland. All the way home one thought and one thought only consumed Rue's thoughts: Thyra, Lelouch, and when she would see them again. Okay so technically three, but hey, you can't judge a woman who's just met the most amazing person in the world and is still reeling from physical contact.
