Moz raised an eyebrow as he watched the other sitting beside him. At her words, he couldn’t resist a dry, if slightly cold, chuckle and a slight bow of the head. “Of course we do, I’ve never pretended otherwise” He stated calmly, eyes turning to stare, focusing on the skin being revealed as the woman pulled up the sleeve of her grey dress.
Her small quivers didn’t escape Moz’s notice and he at least had the grace not to smirk at her fear. Instead, Moz lowered his book, letting the other set her arm over the book he had been reading before slipping it away from her. Memorizing the page number, he closed the book before turning to regard the wrist curiously. “I’ve been told that this doesn’t hurt, much anyway. I can hardly take blood when you are trembling like a flimsy leaf, if I did I could end up hurting you far more” He answered in a slightly sharper tone before reaching out to take Hester’s hand.
His grip was firm, if Hester tried to pull away she would have found it impossible. As he lightly parted his lips, his fangs could be easily seen and for a few moments, the more feral side of Moz could be seen, a quiet growl rumbling from his throat as the fresh blood was inches away. Slowly, he raised the wrist to his mouth, giving Hester a cold gaze as he carefully bit into the skin, every nerve and cell in his body on edge, completely tense as he fought to control the urge to drink her dry.

Hester's mouth was dry with fear when he grabbed her wrist."Your concern is touching." , managed to say the woman. When Moz gazed at her icily,it drove home the fact that only his concern for Ariana stopped him from killing her. The closer he came to biting her ,the more she wanted to get up and run. When Hester felt his teeth sink into her wrist a sharp hiss came out of her mouth.Reflexively she gripped Moz's shoulder with her other hand, while hiding her face just beside where she gripped.
Her hold relaxed a little when it stopped hurting. It was...Slightly pleasant, strange to say the least. Nothing at all like Hester had imagined it would be like. She spoke her thoughts, not even realizing that she did so."Moz,has anyone ever shown you even a modicum of kindness? Is it wrong of me to want to show you that not all humans need to be hated? Really life has to have been incredibly hard for you..." Hester trailed off as she buried her face in Moz's neck with eyes half closed, only half aware of her actions. She would never have spoken her thoughts in such a way,nor acted as she did, under any other circumstances.

He chuckled softly as he began to drink the blood, careful not to move and cause more unnecessary pain. Moz had promised after all. The sound of the hiss made his grip tighten very slightly before he forced it to relax again unless he wanted to break the bones. It was hard not to do this though, hard to resist the deadly nature of killing, tearing her apart. Thankfully Moz had enough experience to keep control. Just.
The vampire barely registered the hand on his shoulder as he took in the sweet blood, taking slow, measured and tiny sips. Her words however, easily reached his ears, making his body stiffen once more. After a few more seconds, he slowly pulled away, licking his thumb before brushing it over the cut to stem the bleeding. Lifting his head achingly slowly, he stared up at Hester through his blonde bangs, red eyes narrowed in a cold glare. “I...I have not known a human worth anything more or less than hate...I have no recollection of a human life, yet I know I am not a natural born vampire. As a vampire I have been treated as the slave I am, so tell me, am I really expecting kindness? Should I expect kindness from masters when all I am to them is a dispensable slave?...You...Ask very stupid questions Miss Hester” He murmured softly.
It seemed the taking in of fresh blood had dulled Moz’s thoughts, enough to make him speak more freely to the woman. He hadn’t moved away as her face pressed against his neck, instead remaining still, his hands slowly releasing her wrist. Finally, Moz twisted a little, starting to create space between them. “Thank you for the blood” He murmured, coldly once more, before turning his attention towards his book again.

A flash of anger pierced the lightheaded lethargy that had begun to settle upon Hester like a cloak at Moz's words. With the hand he had bitten she pulled the book away from his hands with a quick movement. Hester remained beside the vampire, even thought she knew very well that her words and action would anger him."Then I order this, the moment you realize you have any positive feelings for a human...You shall automatically be set free to do as you will .But that is only if you acknowledge these feelings and tell the human in question,if these conditions are not met you remain as you are, nothing more then a slave. Now you have a way to freedom, but you would have to feel something you probably never will for someone of the race that imprisoned you. Do you understand?" Her voice was hard and sad, full with contradictions.
Slowly, still feeling the effects of giving her blood, the young woman stood up and walked to another chair. Before she moved thought she returned the book to Moz,having only taken it to gain his attention. With a sigh she sat down in the chair right by the fire and closed her eyes to rest. The warmth of the flames and the lethargic feeling that had returned lulled Hester into a half doze.Stray locks of her dark blond hair fell onto her face, and for once that night she actually looked relaxed.

The moment the book was taken from his hands again, he stiffened. Taking a few seconds before responding, Moz slowly turned to face the woman, a very dangerous expression on his own features as he let out a low growl. However, before he could respond to her action, he sat back in mild surprise as Hester began to speak, well, conduct an order.
Before Moz knew it, he was snarling angrily, bearing his fangs at the woman as he lowered himself in his seat. He looked seconds away from springing at the woman and taking her life there and then, but Ariana was still around, and he had given his word, the only thing that would bind him to doing anything. “Then, Miss Hester, I shall never be free, I will never feel a positive emotion towards a human, especially not you. You have condemned both myself and yourself in your petty order. I understand your words, far too well” His voice was on edge, steely and almost unemotional.
As the book was returned to him, Moz snatched it in his hands, holding it close to his chest before slowly standing, gazing fiercely at the woman before him. In that moment, he looked nothing like the child whose body he remained trapped in. “Remember this, Mistress Hester, there are worse things I can do than kill or harm you physically. Your punishments will do nothing to deter me from my goal” As he spoke, a hand clawed at the seat he had been resting in moments ago, leaving deep gauges before the vampire turned to walk away from the scene, to try and drain out the raging anger inside him.

By mid afternoon Eclair and her younger brother, john, had woken up and wondered about their home. Boxes still lined some of the walls as the two hadent quite fully moved in.
"What do you want me to do with this Sis!?" John asked holding a box of brand new kitchen items.
"Well I guess put them in the kitchen, if I alredy have something then keep it in the box." Eclair said as she hulled a box of cloths up stairs. Her brothers recent run away had caused all of his things to end up at her home as well as whatever she had left at her parents. "I guess I don't live their any more" She spoke to herself as she lightly kicked open the door to her brothers bed room and left the box on his messy bed. "That boy, i sware!" She grummbled and picked up random items from the floor and tossed them where they belonged.
Hours had passed and the two siblings found themselvs taking a nap together on one of the couches in what could be concitered a living room. Both of them were sound asleep and would not wake again untill later that night.

A tight feeling within her chest,Hester remained where she was."It wasn't meant...To be anythign like a punishment. It was a small whisper, not meant to be heard by anyone save herself.Hearing him heading towards the doorway she scrambled up with a look of dismay on her face."Please stop!Don't you remember what I said earlier? You'll hurt yourself, trying to get out of here without a collar on! I'll leave."Suiting her words to her actions Hester walked out of the library with slow tired steps, and made her way down the corridor to her room.
The place wasn't even really deserving of the name. The bed ,tough once majestic, was ready to fall apart. All the blankets where moth eaten and tread bare. There where no magical lamps, only a candle and a fireplace to keep the stone room warm. The young woman sighed tiredly as she clambered into the bed, missing her spot on the library couch where she usually slept.Hester didn't even bother getting changed as she tried to calm her rattled nerves alone.

Moz turned sharply at the sound of her breathy voice. He didn’t quite catch what the woman had spoken, but he didn’t feel he needed to, probably something useless, something that made no difference to their current situation. As he gazed in judgemental silence at Hester, he tilted his chin up slightly, challenging the woman to try and force him to stay put.
The vampire had not, however, expected for her to give up her own spot in the library for him. Had she not said earlier, that this was the only complete room of the manor? Surely that meant her own bedroom would be in a state of disrepair. Moz was almost tempted to tell her not to bother, however, he bit his lip very slightly, preventing any voice escaping past his lips. In the silence, Moz let Hester walk away before he turned again, a frustrated growl rumbling from him as he moved to curl in a corner of the library, out of sight of the door way and of Ariana, unless she decided to come and talk to him. Probably she would, telling him not to be so cruel to their new owner. Moz could hardly help it, his reactions were like gut instincts for him, the automatic response to react to a human.

Ariana had backed away in a corner slowly. First the feeding had frightened her causing her dark eyes to open widely and then the argument caused her to crouch down in the corner to shield herself from the noise. She had very sensitive ears. First she could smell the fresh blood causing her to crave some for herself and then seeing it caused her again to want some. The yelling hurt her ears greatly. She stared at Moz. When he went to a corner after the lady had left Ariana followed him slowly. She stood about ten feet from him and just stared at him. She could feel a tear finding its way down her cheek and touched it curiously. She turned to Moz and made her way over to him putting a hand on his shoulder gently.
"Sometimes feelings hurt us badly
Just remember to act manly.
If you need someone to talk to
I will be here forever for you."
Once again her words had a deeper meaning than most of what anyone could ever say.

(Do you think we could have everyone fall asleep after you post a bit more?)
Laying alone in the bed,Hester felt a small tear rundown her cheek. She only wanted to help, wanted to make sure that they where happy. But there she was feeling sorry for herself just because a vampire couldn't understand that the only way he could be free was if he understood one human at least. So that he would know not all of them where bad."Ariana, come here the moment you think it is right to so.",whispered the woman quietly. She wanted company so badly just then.

Ariana heard her new master calling her and smiled. She walked slowly after her. She was still in her room but Ariana had good hearing and could hear her even if she whispered. She stood at the end of her bed without saying anything and looked at her. She did not speak but just stood there staring at her.

(Well, you could have Ariana sleep until you return,so that would explain her not being there..Or something like that >.< I'm sorry for posting so much.I kind of get caught up in the story when I RP)
Hearing Ariana arrive quicker then she'd expected ,Hester looked up from the pile of blankets she'd buried her face in."Thank you for coming...Do you think what I did was wrong?I was just so upset!I'm so confused, what do you think?"Seeking advice from the other woman was automatic ,even with the differences in their race and station."You can come sit here with me if you want...I just wanted a little company."Shifting on the bed,Hester made some room for Ariana to sit down if she wanted to.

(well Ariana just cant sleep all day for five days a week. THat would be wierd lol)
Ariana walked around to where the room had been made and sat down staring at her new master. She did not speak for a few moments allowing the woman to rant and talk about her problems. She put her hand out and touched her shoulder softly.
"Sometimes what we know is not the truth
So for you I would I would reproof
Offer now until you see
that what you need is not to be."
She smiled. Most people had problems keeping up with what she said even though it was usually quite simple.
"Remember this and remember well
just do not your head let swell
Honor those who want to help you
and you will be happy and joyful."

A tremulous smile,and a laugh , came forth from the woman's lips."Hard to do,
when the heart won't be true.
Warring with mind,
truly hard to find,
the one thing that binds." She laughed more at her sorry attempt for poetry.Which brought forth a question that had been nagging Hester, and which prompted her to do something else also."I free you Ariana, here is the deed and the keys to your chains. She reached for the items in question and gave them to Ariana, careful to keep the silver key in it's velvet satchel.Your far too nice to be bound...Tell me,why do you speak with poetry?" The question ahd been running trough her mind until what had happened in the library.
(When are you usually on?I can try just posting around then...)

Ariana took the items and gave the lady a small look. Free? She had never been free before. No one had offered her such a gift before. It was like she was let loose from everything.
"I do not know why I speak this way.
It is just how I have learned to say.
Everything thats on my mind
Even when my chains unbind."
She reached out and gave her a hug.
"Thank you for the lovely gift.
You have helped me over a rather large rift."

Hugging Ariana in return Hester felt some of what had upset her so,just disappear."Have you ever thought of being a poet?Actually publishing what you speak? Many might be interested to hear such words as you may want to say."Pulling back from the other woman Hester smiled brightly."I know what you mean,it's one of the reasons I've had such a hard time interacting with you.I always needed to phrase everything as a question, for fear that it would become an order.I would free Moz too,if I knew he wouldn't run around draining people dry." Hester rolled her eyes and made a comic face,to relieve the tension she knew her words would bring up.
(Well,this is a pretty pickle! lol )

Moz was still shaking with his barely controlled rage, furious to have been told such a thing, by a human no less. How dare she restrict his freedom, her words were far too curse like! It made him hiss softly. The more he thought about it the angrier he became, it really wasn’t helping much now she had left and he was free to vent the anger without terrifying the idiotic woman.
He flinched again at the hand on his shoulder, twisting around and letting out a feral snarl. At once he regretted it and closed his mouth with a sharp ‘snap’, shaking a little before lowering his gaze, staring hard at the floor. Her words echoed in his ears as he shivered a little. “I...I understand Ariana...It’s ironic, I agree to be bought by the woman to make sure you are not alone...Yet you’re the one helping and watching over me...And when did I stop acting manly?” He added the last part with a hint of a smile, reaching up to gently pat her hand.
When Ariana left, Moz let out a quiet sigh, leaning back against the wall that was propping him up slightly. Rubbing his eyes tiredly, Moz gently set the book down on the floor beside him before standing up. The young looking vampire began to pace impatiently around the library, attempting to test the limits of his new found prison. Sure, he was surrounded by books, it could have been considered a haven, if he wasn’t chained to the cursed place. Moz tugged hard, just reaching the door way before his chain restricted him. He made another frustrated noise, rattling the chain and snarling softly. He was like a tiger pacing along the sides of its tiny cage, waiting for the day the door would be left open for it to charge to freedom.

Ariana smiled a moment. She did not think Moz was as evil as he made himself seem. She chuckled and then said one more thing.
"Perhaps trust is to be earned
But it is better not to be burned.
Keep him chained if you wish
But it will turn out to be a horrible dish."
She figured that if given a chance Moz would actually be a nice guy. He just needed to know he was trusted. She turned and headed back to the library. She stared at moz a moment.
"Freedom is what you want
But you have to earn it if you wish
Otherwise I will have to hunt
Down a way to make you free."

With a small smile Hester followed Ariana into the library, leaving some room between them so the two vampires could converse without her present. Entering the room she noticed Moz's pacing and sighed. With a firm step she walked to him and unhooked his collar and chain.Without looking at him she took the items in question to the balcony, which had been hidden by two sturdy wooden doors, and threw them away." There, but you aren't allowed to roam outside the Manor ..It's more of a safety precaution then anything else.I wouldn't want to have to go back to the market with your deed in order to prove you do indeed belong with me." Hester didn't see him as belonging to her which was why she said with ,rather then to.
Turning to Ariana the woman smiled." I can't really tell you to do anything you don't want to,but if you go wandering tell me alright? Otherwise I'll worry you got caught again, people have a hard time believing anyone would set a vampire free." She was groggy still, but preferred company to sleep .

Moz blinked in surprise as Ariana reappeared. Raising an eyebrow, he fell still, hand hanging limply on the collar with his fingers hooked beneath it in a feeble attempt to tug it off. After a few seconds, he bowed his head a little, nodding in agreement. “I don’t think I would know what to do with myself if I were completely free of a master...I simply despise being tied to one spot like a common mutt” He answered in a quiet voice so the approaching Hester wouldn’t hear.
With a raised eyebrow, he gazed apprehensively at the woman as she strode almost confidently towards him. The vampire seemed about to growl, although he remained silent, instead falling perfectly still as she freed him from the restricting collar and chain. His eyes flicked to follow the human’s steps as his fingers lightly traced the skin of his neck that had been covered by the collar moments ago. “Nor would I enjoy returning to the market, their quality of blood was quite poor” He stated bluntly. Whilst Moz said no more on the matter, it seemed that his words were a sign of agreement. He would comply to her terms, if only to remain free enough to move around the Manor he now found himself living in.

Suppressing a yawn Hester let a laugh escape from her instead. "So you like my blood do you?" Teased the young woman as she walked closer to the vampires. Hester hadn't felt so happy since she'd inherited the mansion from her parents.who where still off gallivanting in some far away place. Winking at Ariana, she turned away from Moz before he answered and went to look at the shelf facing him. It happened to be to adventure section she'd spoken of earlier. Skimming the titles,Hester grabbed a thick volume called 'The Shining Court by Michelle West.It wasn't the first in the series, and concentrated for the most part on a woman who could see the future. It was full of political intrigues, surrounding the sun crown.

Ariana nodded and sat down where Moz was at. She hugged his arm to her and smiled. He was her friend. He would not leave her and he wanted her to stay as her friend. She smiled at him a moment.
"Freedom is a gift
make sure you truly appreciate it
If you do not then life will be sad for you"
Her poetry was slowly fading and turning into real words. She put her hand to her mouth and frowned. Why was that happening?

Raising an eyebrow, he watched Hester approaching before shrugging and looking swiftly away. “I like fresh blood that hasn’t been tampered with, your blood is as good as any fresh blood, you could be a wild animal for all I care” He answered sharply, attempting to concentrate on the words of his now open book.
Ariana’s words caught him off guard. He had become used to her nature of constantly touching his shoulder or giving him a hug. He didn’t even mind it now, not much anyway. However, her less poetic words made Moz glance up in surprise, frowning as he scrutinized her. “That was vaguely like normal speech...Is something wrong?” He asked cautiously.

Turning back to Moz,Hester smiled."You mean you don't read the mind of a person who has freely given blood to you? I find that strange since many other vampire I've met say it is so." Nearly returning to her book,Hester caught the words Ariana had spoken. Not seeing any room beside her friend,Hester went to sit on the other side of Moz and looked to Ariana with concern on her face."Either you are learning more normal ways of speech,or there is something horribly wrong with you.Do you have any idea about what is happening?" Leaning closer to her friend as best she could,Hester took her hand in hers to check her temperature.
