“Sorry had a rough night.” Lavi said to him as he yawned once more, he rubbed at his face for a few minutes as he looked at his potion before stirring it once more. “Yea I need too, so I will then.” he said with a sleepy smile, Travis seemed a bit testy to him, which meant something was wrong, he didn’t say anything about it at the moment, but he was going to say something about it soon. “I won‘t set something on fire or sleep on the cauldron.” he mumbled to Travis as he gave him a funny look, he felt like there was something really wrong, considering the fact that his friend was saying some mean things but he knew when he first met him that it was his way of showing how he cared. “oh, thanks.” he said with a smile as he yawned once more, starting to put up the rest of his ingredients after he stirred it once more. “Yea I think I can do that.” he said as he pulled his quill and some parchment out, picking up a vial to put some of in for Snape. He didn’t notice that he had something green sticking to his hand, which fell into the cauldron when he stirred it once more and put some of it in a vial. After a few minutes the liquid in the cauldron turned a neon blue color and started to boil over. “OH NO!!!! not a gain…….Ya‘ll might want to hit the deck.” he said to them in a worried tone as he pulled his wand out, muttering a couple spells, which helped the mess just go back into the cauldron eve though it looked like it was going to explode.

Those Travis had given away more then he knew he had. Seeing as those there houses rarely seem to talk. It seem most hufflepuff got walked over by them. So seeing this did hint at some thing more. When Lavi said that Mathew sighed.
"Oh dear..." Mathew took out his wand and put a protective shield over Lavi cauldron. There was no putting a counter in the potion this time it was going to exploded Lavi was right. But at less it would do it in the covering. But just to be on the safe side Mathew grabbed Travis's and Lavi arms pulling them under the table "I'm not sure the shield will hold." |
He reacted almost instantly as he grabbed Lavi's arm at around the same time Mathew grabbed them to pull them under the table. Seemed both had the same idea. Travis almost sighed as he looked at Lavi. "And you said you weren't going to blow anything up." He shook his head, letting him go now quickly as he looked at Mathew. "Thanks." he muttered before he heard the cauldron explode, and Snape walking over to them to see what was going on. He looked mad too. "Oh boy.. Damn it if I get a detention first day back, I'm going to strangle you." he threatened, narrowing his eyes at Lavi, though of course, he was joking and, was sure his friend knew that, but to everyone else, it seemed he was serious.

"No problem..." He let go of them after he heard the cauldron explode he sighed. He saw Snape feet as lowered his head this was not going to be good he thought. But he slowly slide out from under the table then looked at what had happened. It looked like the shield had held but there was some thing weird inside of the cauldron.
It was all black and moving with red eyes. It looked like it had fur and Mathew mouth just drop. "Oh.... that not good....Ummm..." He darted back under the table to Lavi and Travis. "He made a Ashden..." Ashden were being created by mixing some wrong ingredients together. They eat living and none living matter without getting full. Once one is made it quickly muilts once it starts eating things. They are cute but ever ever anoying. Those with high level spells they can be destroy. "Out from under the tables boys!" Snape said. Mathew exited out of the table slowly this time. |
Lavi was going to try and take care of this problem as best as he could but Mathew had put a shield on it but him and Travis pulled him under the table, which meant that Lavi wouldn’t have time to put his normal ingredient in it kill the potion. He was about to say something to them but they seemed to talk over him, so he just sighed slightly, listening to what they were saying and the explosion of his potion. “Well I wasn‘t cause I don‘t know what happened….” Lavi muttered to them as he adjusted his hat, coming out from under the table when he was told to by Snape, he also knew that Travis was joking with him but this was serious and he was not in the mood to joke around. “Hey, Professor Snape….I think some mixed my ingredients.” he said to him with a sheepish smile and a small laugh, he knew that he was in trouble and he would have to take care of the creature on his own but he couldn’t help it…accidents happen.

Striding over with that permanent scowl, the old but sexy dark Professor strode over, arms tucked away in his sleeves, looking menacing. A dark brow arched at the feeble attempt to cover up the obvious screw up, and turned to the Slytherin. "Boy, it will do you good to sit elsewhere, for you may absorb this...idiocy." His way of speech was slow and tired, and demeaning. Looking back to Lavi, he cocked his head to the side. "Indeed, I think someone did. Yourself. Nevermind, you can spend this evening in my class, doing it over and over until you can get it right. And by yourself." Snape glared at Matt, then at Travis, and with a wave of his hand diminished the monstrosity, and returned to the front of the class, announcing to the whole that they need to pay attention and not play around, like the three buffoons before them, and of course, the room chuckled. |

Mathew gave a sigh of relief as he did not get in trouble those he did not like being laughed at but it could not be help. He looked to Lavi. With the animal gone the shield disappeared. Mathew looked between Travis and Lavi. He felt bad for Lavi but at less Snape didn't take points from his house from this. Which was a little odd but then again it was Lavi they were talking about. Some thing was up with the boy any ways and he was going find out what it was. |

Travis had nodded a little as he backed away. Of course he wanted to stick by Lavi, but for now he had to back off. He rolled his eyes and shot a look at the people laughing indicating they should shut up. He wasn't very happy about Lavi's punishment. Knowing the boy, he would take a long time if he had to do it alone. He'd almost sighed, giving Lavi a sympathetic smile before he wiped it off and started to clean up the mess that had been left over. He'd have to make something up so Lavi would remember what to put in the potion exactly, and not mess up.. The bad thing was that he couldn't outright say it at the moment with the other ravenclaw there.

Mathew quickly wrote down what he did to his own potion and added some extra notes on it then looked over to Lavi. "It will be alright, maybe we could go to lunch together before you have to stay in class tonight." He lightly lean over to Lavi ear. He was going to whisper some thing but changed his mind he could tell him at lunch if he agree to it. |

Lavi shrunk when Professer Snape came over he felt very horrible, he didn't say anything only nodded his head to him, he felt bad that he was getting his friends in trouble, after all it was all his fault for everything. He didn't say anything to his friends as he just cleaned up his mess, throwing away everything that was ruined. He felt bad for bring this on them and he knew that he was gong to be punish and making a potion that he had no clue how to make was going to be the worse considering it was just going to explode in his face all the time. |

Kawayou meandered out of the Herbology, waving bye to the teacher, and with a pleased smile headed off to Defence. He was a little sad about taking it. He wasn't a fighter. That's why he was in Ravenclaw. He preferred to fight with words, rather than magic. But what was he to do? Dump the class? It wasn't possible. |
Shadow had only smirked and watched the commotion in amusement. He started to pack his things after turning in his sample of the potion to Professor Snape. Not too much later, the bell for the next class rang, and he glanced at his group before nodding. After being dismissed, he walked over to the Defense Against the Dark Arts class to see who they had hired this year. It was always fun to see who kept on being picked for the class every year.
Travis glanced at Lavi and frowned, wanting to help him out later, but he would just tell him later during one of their class times together. He packed up his things and nodded at the two boys before he went ahead, going slightly slowly for Lavi to catch up if he wanted to. Again, it would have been odd for a Slytherin to be around a Hufflepuff. Maybe he should just see him in the classroom. Or something. He almost sighed. It was slightly because of his attitude and condition he'd been placed in the house in the first place. Something about being able to be a bit hazardous to the others. |
Kawayou made it before too many others did. He tucked a blue hair behind his ear, looking around. The teacher wasn't there yet, and the schedule never said who it would be. He supposed it was to be a surprise. Looking over, he spotted some familiar people walk in, and walked over to the door, peeking out. In the hall coming his way he saw the damned Slytherin. "Oh, donga..." he whispered, cursing in his native tongue. He hoped the boy didn't have the same class as he did, and he ducked away. But he did hope to see another red-head. Lavi was just so nice. Lavi was in a more sad, depressed mood at the moment then anything else, he packed his bag up slowly, not saying anything to his friends as he slowly walked towards his next class. He just seemed to move about like a puppet or some one who was not completely there, he was in trouble and was going to have detention for the rest of the school year all because he couldn't make a potion. He grumbled some as he slinked into DA, his favorite and best class every, so he didn't have to pay attention in it to much since he could basically glide through it like it was nothing.

Travis entered the classroom and almost ran into Kawayou before backing up a little and apologized. He closed his eyes and went to sit down, wondering what they were going to study this year. He hadn't been here in a while, so he had no idea what they had done, or not done. For all he knew, he'd be behind the other students, or above them. Only one way to find out really. He was worried about Lavi when he was in that sort of state. Very little could get him to snap out of it. He took out his book and closed his eyes again.
Shadow caught sight of blue hair ducking away from the door and he had to smirk. Oh this was going to be fun. He had class with, most of the annoying people. It was rather amusing really. Once he went inside, he smirked over at the blue haired boy before sitting down near the door. ( Sixth!! No way Umbridge is teaching. >.o Oh, but.. Lupin is like, third year. >.> And who would play him? XD ) |
