Another boring, long, hot day on Xanthe, Keir's home planet. He watched with Topaz next to him on a large boulder as a couple walked, hand in hand across the beach. He noticed that a thin human walked cautiously behind them. Keir had never approved of how the different races of this large planet treated humans. Sure the humans were weaker and far more fragile but that didn't mean any other race had the right to enslave them.

Keir sighed as he watched the sun slowly start to sink down, closer and closer to the ocean's edge. He turned to Topaz, who had been skipping rocks. She stopped when she noticed him staring. "You're making me uncomfortable." Topaz said quietly as her long golden tail flicked behind her. Everything about Topaz was golden. Her, almost boyishly short, blonde hair, light golden skin tone, and golden eyes that held orange flecks in them. Even her name was golden.

Averting his eyes back to the ocean and the slow sunset Keir sighed once more. "What do you think is taking them so long?" He paused and checked his pocket watch. "They've been gone for hours and I'm starving." Keir said, referring to Odd and Ace who had left earlier to swipe some food for everyone to split. The four worked together as a team to survive. Each of them playing a key role in the crew. Topaz shrugged slightly. "I don't know Keir." She said, loving the way his name sounds coming from her lips. "Just be patient and.. skip some rocks with me." She said as she slid off the boulder and began to look for more flat rocks. Ever since Topaz had joined the crew three years ago she had been in love with Keir, secretly of course. She would never admit it to anyone, except one person in particular seemed to know. Ace. Her best friend and greatest enemy. She loved Ace because she was the only female companion she had and yet she envied and hated Ace for her out going, carefree, and sometimes vulgar personality. It got Keir's attention at least. More so than Topaz's shy and quietness.

Topaz's eyes shot up as she seen someone burst through the dense forest. A.. human. Running wildly, seemingly horrified. Topaz knew it wasn't any of her business but whatever the human was running seemed to have upset the girl a lot. Topaz's, long, swift legs began to push themselves toward the girl until she caught her by the arm. "Human..? Human calm down! Why are you running?" She asked the girl, her ears twitching a bit, the girl was crying. "Are you injured human?" She asked. It was common for any humans to be addressed as simple 'human' on Xanthe. Keir quickly headed over to the scene. "Topaz what are you doing?" He gave her a warning look. If the girl was a run away slave they could be in loads of trouble. "Leave the human be." He said as he tried to pulled Topaz away but she would follow. Instead, Topaz wrapped her arms around the sobbing girl. "There, there, little human. It will be okay." Topaz said, trying to comfort the girl as if she were a child even though they appeared to be only a year apart in age. "Can you tell me what happened?" Topaz asked, still hugging the girl.

Hime was running from the guy who had kidnapped her, she had no idea where she was and she was tired because the guy had kidnapped her in the middle of the night. Hime was just running so the guy wouldn't find her, she was scared that he was around here and was ready to get her and possibly kill her. She was really shaken up, and when she was shaken up she would cry. When Topaz grabbed her arm she screeched and said, "Get off of me!". Then she tripped over her skirt, she cought herself but she was still trying to get away. Hime looked at the girl and her eyes widened, she was surprised by how gold she was and how she had ears and tails. When the girl asked if she was injured she shook her head and said "I-I don't think so...".

Hime jumped a little when Keir walked up and talked to Topaz. She looked at him with big eyes, he also had cat ears and tail. 'oh my god....I-I don't think there human...' she thought. When she was hugged by Topaz,her eyes grew even wider. Her eyes looked like they were about to pop out of her head, but thankfully they didn't. Hime hugged the girl back so it wouldn't be so awkward when she was hugging her. 'I doubt it will be okay...unless I am just have a weird dream...'. Hime was still trying to convince herself that this was still on strange dream, but she knew it wasn't. When the girl asked what happened Hime looked at her and said "I was in my room sleeping and some guy came into my room and dragged me out of it...Then he took me to a weird ship looking thing and shoved me into it. Then he hit me with something, when I woke up I found myself inside of a cabin. The guy was doing something in the other room and I yelled for help...Then the guy came in and was surprised that I was awake. he told me to stay quite and stay still or he would kill me, I didn't want to find out weather or not he would really kill me, so I did what he said. After what felt like years, he left told me to stay put and left. I immediately tried to get myself untied. When I did I ran out of the building, but when I did the guy was outside, he yelled at me and I panicked and ran away...Then I ran into you guys.".

(I hope that was okay~ *my fingers die* xD)

As soon as Keir realized she was a human, from Earth he yanked Topaz away quickly, holding onto her arm. "Topaz.. this human was stolen." He said, eying Hime a little. "If we get involved we could be--"

Topaz cut him off. "I'm very well aware of the laws Keir! But this girl obviously needs help! I'm not just going to turn her away." She said as she smiled at Topaz, not even thinking to give her name because it wasn't custom to have to introduce yourself to a human. Topaz almost seemed to tower over the girl, even though she was only four inches taller than her. Keir however, did tower over her by seven inches. Keir sighed and circled Hime before looking back at Topaz.

"Well what are we going to do? If we're caught with a human, no less a stolen one, we'll be killed. Not to mention none of us are even old enough to own a slave." Keir said with a huff.

Topaz glared at him and her ears went flat. "She is not our slave!" Topaz said, angrily. That had always been one thing Topaz and Keir agreed on. Humans shouldn't be enslaved.

"Okay fine! This human is.. a freelance human! If we're still caught with her we'll be thrown in prison!" He said glaring back at Topaz. Topaz sighed and grabbed Hime's hand.

"Come on human. I'll protect you. Somehow we'll get you back to Earth." She said as she began to walk in the direction of the crew's small two bedroom cabin.

(omg I am trying not to laugh...*has no idea why she findes this funny*)

Hime was just watching Keir and Topaz talk. She was sort of wondering what they meant by 'stolen', she figured it was there way of saying kidnapped, well she hoped it was anyway. 'what are they talking about? are they thinking about taking me back to that cabin?' Hime smiled a bit when Topaz cut him off, it seemed that Topaz wanted to help her unlike Keir. 'thank god, someone is going to help me...I thought I was going to dragged back to the cabin by that guy.'. She was a little scared by Keir, he was glaring at her and circling her like she did something terrible.

Her eyes started to get big again when they mentioned the word 'slave'. 'Oh no...I-I can't be a slave! I-I am not going to be a slave...if they decide to make me a slave, I will run for it.'. She sighed a with relief when Topaz said she wasn't there slave. She jumped a little when Topaz took her hand and talked to her. "T-Thank you miss...but what do you mean by 'back to earth'?" she asked. earlier Hime thought she was off of earth, but she just ignored that thought.

Topaz led Hime down a long stretch of the beach and through a little trail in the woods, far in the opposite direction of the cabin Hime had been running away from though. Luckily, as they walked no one had seen them.

As Keir followed behind them he had never been so nervous in his entire life. He knew at any given moment someone could see them and report them and his life would be over. He flicked his tail back and forth a few times before quickening his space as they entered the woods. He knew as soon as Odd and Ace showed up Odd would be all over the human which Keir couldn't have, seeing as everything between the two was a competition. "Human wait!" He said, catching up to the two. Topaz stopped walking and turned to look back at Keir.

Keir flashed Hime his most charming smile. "I'm terribly sorry for the way I treated you back there. But you must know you are putting us in a ton of danger." He stepped in closer and kissed the back of her hand. "But danger makes things exciting." He said as he let a low, almost seductive laugh escape his lips. "My name is Keir. Might I ask yours?" He said, knowing asking for a humans name was rather taboo. Topaz fuming with jealousy, but as she looked at Hime that jealousy turned her heart to sadness. She reminded the time when Keir had done the exact same thing to her when they first met, it had made her head dizzy and heart race a bit. She wondered what this human felt as he know did it to her. After she responded Topaz tugged on the girl's hand. "Come on. We should get going, the sun will set soon." She said as she realized then that she still hadn't answered Hime about Earth. "Also, you are not on your human planet anymore. This planet is called Xanthe and it has many other races living on it." She said quietly as they reached the little cabin and opened the door to expose Odd and Ace sitting in the living room stuffing their faces with handfuls of food.

"You sly Serits!" He said, calling them the race that was able to shape shift with a serpent like creature. The equivalent would have been 'you sly snakes'. "You leave us waiting on the beach while you come back with the food! Were you planning on letting Topaz and myself starve?!" He paused looking back at the wide eyed Hime now. "And to show such rudeness in front of a beautiful guest!" He said, smiling slightly at Hime a bit.

Hime walked witgh Topaz. She was waiting for her to answer her question, but she figured she wasn't on earth anymore. Almost everyone she saw had cat ears and tails, so she figured she was more then likely not on her planet. She started to get a bit nervous so she started fiddling with her sleeve like she always does when shes nervous. 'I can't believe this...Why did I have to be the one who was kidnapped? I didn't do anything to that guy...'.

Hime jumped a bit when Keir called out to her. She turned around and said "Y-yes?". She was surprised when he apologized, she wasn't expecting anything like that. But she really didn't expect him to kiss the back of her hand. She blushed and said "Uh...y-yeah, i-it does.". She looked up at him and said "My names Hime...".

Hime looked at Topaz when she tugged on her hand. She nodded and said "Okay.". When Topaz told her she wasn't on earth anymore, Hime fiddled with her sleeve again. "I sort of figured I wasn't on earth anymore...I tried to tell myself I wasn't though." she said. Hime followed Topaz to the cabin quietly.

Hime's eyes widened a little when she saw Ace and Odd, she wasn't expecting there to be more people. But it was a little funny to see them stuffing there faces with food. Once again, she started blushing when Keir said she was 'beautiful'. She fiddled with her sleeve again and looked at Odd and Ace.

Odd was running as fast as he could, a wide grin stretched across his face as he tried not to drop the bag of food. He couldn't hold back a loud and obnoxious laugh as he looked back at Ace, who was slower than he was, "Hurry up!" He could hear behind them the angry merchant yelling and cursing. They'd been quick about their most recent job, stealing some food for the group. It was like a hit and run. Not very professional, but they got what they needed, and Odd preferred a more direct approach anyway. He held onto Ace's hand tightly, nearly dragging her along with him as he darted in between people. The market wasn't very big, but seemed rather busy today. Excitement stirred in Odd's stomach as they ran. He always loved a good chase, and he craved attention of course.
Ace couldn't help but laugh as she tried desperately to keep up with her partner in crime, while carrying her own bag of stolen fruit. She knew Odd was much faster than her, and she was slowing him down right now, but it didn't matter. The merchant was slow and a little on the heavy side. If he hadn't been swinging a rather large butcher knife he'd borrowed from the real butcher, she would have slowed down a bit more so her legs weren't aching. She couldn't deny it wasn't fun though. As they reached the edge of the woods, she could no longer hear the yelling man, and they started to slow down until they reached a pathway. Ace nearly fell over trying to catch her breath, gasping for air, "I got to start runnin' more. That was a workout!" She glanced over at Odd, who was still laughing, despite being out of breath as well. "Come on, we have to go back to the beach and meet up with Keir and Topaz." She started off in the direction of the beach, walking slowly now, Odd at her side. She pushed Odd playfully while he dug through his bag, looking for something sweet before pulling out a peach. "Don't eat it all, Keir will cut your hands off! Then you'd be useless!"

Topaz had to cover her mouth her hand to keep from laughing at Ace and Odd who both looked like a pair of deers caught in headlights. Their eyes were wide and they were stiff as a board, Ace's mouth twitched and she had chocolate on her face as her hands were holding the bag of goodies open. Odd's hands were thrust into the bag and his tail flicked for a moment. Topaz let go of Hime's hands and leaned over the couch to stare down at the two sitting on the floor. "It takes a thief to know a thief." She said with a smile. "Now hand over the chocolate." She said as she held out her hand waiting for the chocolaty goodness to be placed in her palm.

Keir walked over and pulled the bag out of their hands before plopping down on the couch and rummaging through it for a second. He then turned and smiled at Topaz as he placed a bar of chocolate turtles into her hands, one of her favorites. Topaz stared at him for a moment longer after he looked away, feeling the strongest urge to kiss him. He was so close and so tempting, she leaned in slightly and.. Ace cleared her throat, making Topaz lean away and shift her eyes to Ace, who wiggled her eyebrows a bit. Topaz frowned at her and she walked around the couch and sat down, putting space between herself and Keir now. "How rude of you guys not to introduce yourselves to the human.. I mean Hime." She said as they both gave her an odd look. It was extremely taboo to introduce yourself to a human, but to call one by their name.. Topaz wasn't even sure it was even heard of on their planet.

Ace and Odd both gave them a grin as they entered. "WELL we thought we'd just come back here and wait for you. But you were the ones taking forever. You should be thanking us, Odd nearly got his head lopped off with a butcher knife." Ace said, licking the chocolate off her finger as Keir took the bag. Her eyes fell on Hime as she entered, and she watched her carefully and curiously. She reached over and took the orange out of Odd's hands, which he was trying to peal. Odd was still grinning, "Yeah, but I was too fast for him. And we got lots of good stuff!" He reached back and took the orange from Ace after she finished peeling it, before his eyes locked on Hime as well. "A human you say? Where'd you find it?" He stood up and leaned over her, staring into her eyes curiously before giving her the biggest grin he could manage, his wide eyes almost making him look frightening. "Hey there."

Ace laughed as she leaned back on the couch, feeling comfortable, "Stop it you're scaring her Odd." She looked up at Topaz. She'd always admired her sunset-like eyes. "Where did you find it? And why is it here? We could get into a lot of trouble if she's someone else's slave." She took one of the chocolate turtles from Topaz's hand and popped it in her mouth with a giggle.

Hime was trying not to laugh, it was kind of funny to see Ace with chocolate all over her mouth and to see both Ace and Odd looking at them with big eyes. She ended up laughing a bit when Topaz told them to give her the chocolate. Hime didn't know what to do so she just stayed in the same place and watched them. She was still not used to everyone so she would be quite and sort of watch them until she got to know them and got used to them. She was always like this, even as a little kid. Hime didn't know why Odd and Ace were giving Topaz an odd look, she figured that they didn't notice her or something. 'I guess people around here aren't used to humans?'

Hime looked at Odd with big eyes when he walked up to her and stared at her. "H-hello." she said. Hime looked at Ace and said "I'm not anyone's slave...some guy kidnapped me from earth.". She bit her lip, she shouldn't have replied. She should have let Topaz explain to them what happened. "sorry..." she said.

Topaz frowned again at Ace before whispering. "Shes a stolen." Meaning, she had been a stolen human from Earth. Topaz grinned a bit. "Stolens fetch a pretty penny on the black market." She said nudging Keir who gaped at her a bit. "And you told me to be nice?!" He said, nudging her back before reaching behind the couch and pulling Odd back by his collar. "Enough already, you just sit down as we hand out rations." He said as he made Odd plop back down on the floor. He had always felt like the father of the group, being the oldest. Always looking after the others and charming his way in and out of trouble. But that was his role in the crew and he was happy with it. Where as Odd was their best thief, without him the crew would have spent many nights hungry. Ace, of course, was the mechanic, give the girl a wrench and she'll build or fix anything. And last, but not least, Topaz. The brains. Probably one of the smartest people in the world, but she often let her emotions get the better of her.

Topaz guarded her chocolate turtles carefully now, not wanting to risk losing another to Ace's fingers. Topaz death glared down at Ace's hand as she reached out to steal another. "You'll lose that hand!" Topaz warned as she lifted her foot and pushed Ace off the couch. Laughing, when Ace plopped onto the floor and put her ears back at Topaz. "Respect your elders you youngin'!" She said as she stuck her tongue out at Ace, even though she was only a year older than Ace. Topaz normally wasn't so outspoken and easy going but chocolate turtles always put her in a good mood and helped to bring her out of her shell.

Odd sat down as told, not wanting to get into an argument with Keir right now. He didn't have much of a problem with authority, as long as it was just Keir. He was after all, the 'father' of the strange and weird 'family' they'd put together. "A stolen huh? Well what do we do with her? She could get hurt if we just let her go." Odd asked as Ace stuck her tongue out at Topaz. Ace wrapped her arms around Odd's neck and rested her chin on his head, "Hmmm. Well..We COULD sell her." she said, staring at Topaz. "But that does sound a little harsh. But if we keep her with us she'll draw too much attention." She reached over and took the orange away from Odd yet again before peeling off a piece and stuffing it in her mouth. She held out the rest to Hime, "What's your name again human?" She slapped away Odd's hand as he slowly reached out for the peeled orange. "No fatty. It's for the human." Her tail flicked wildly, a nervous feeling in the pit of her stomach. "You must be scared, being kidnapped and all."

Hime continued to watch them talk, she thought they were kind of funny but she tried not to laugh. Her eyes grew bigger when Ace said they could sell her. 'oh pleas. no...I don't want that...' she bit her lip ad continued to listen to them, if they did decide to sell her she would make a run for it. Her eyes went back to there normal size when Ace said it was to harsh. She started to feel bad when she said she would draw to much attention. Hime looked at the orange and took it. "My named Hime." she said. Hime peeled a piece of the orange and gave it to Odd since he seemed to want some of it. She nodded and said "Yeah..I am a little bit scared, but I'm more tired then scared...The guy did kidnap me in the middle of the night..."..

Topaz scooped the orange up and darted behind the couch, her arms wrapped around Hime again. "We are NOT selling her you monsters!" She said glaring at Odd and Ace from her hug with Hime. She pulled away from the hug and handing her the orange. "You're such a cute little human!" Topaz smiled down at Hime, it wasn't that Hime was short, Topaz was just oddly tall. The way Topaz was interacting with Hime wasn't exactly weird. Many people treated their humans like pets. "Come on hu-- Hime." She said taking Hime's free hand. "Lets get you a change of clothes and see if we can find a disguise for you to wear.

Keir watched as Topaz led Hime into the room that he shared with Topaz. The gender difference was often a problem but he'd much rather share a room with Topaz then share a room with Odd and spend all his time arguing about 'who's side is who's'.

Topaz stared at Hime once they were in the bedroom. "We're about the same size.. but your chest is larger." Topaz said before turning to the closet. "You should eat that by the way." She said still with her back to Hime. After a while she pulled out a clean T-shirt and a pair of jeans before searching her closet once again. Topaz knew she'd have to find Hime a Volsian disguise because if she gave her a Serit or Celetos or even an Ravian disguise their cover might be blown too easily. After searching for a few minutes she pulled out a pair of kitty ears and an adjustable tail. Worn with the right outfit you wouldn't even be able to tell. "You're lucky you have long hair, otherwise you'd be able to tell these are fake." She said with a smile. "I'll let you get dressed now." She said as she left the room.

Hime was surprised when Topaz hugged her and called Ace and Odd a 'monster'. Hime took the orange and said "Than you?". She didn't get why Topaz said that, it made Hie feel like her pet for a moment since that is what Hime would sort of say to a dog or cat. Hime nodded and followed Topaz to her room. When she was in Topaz's bedroom, she looked around. The room was kind small, but Hime lived in a big house before she came here, so a lot of rooms looked small to Hime.

Hime watched Topaz dig through her closet, when she saw the cat ears and tail her eyes began to sparkle a little bit. "aww they are so cute! I have always wanted to wear something like that but my parents said that it would be a waste of money!" she said as she put the cat ears on. Hime nodded and said "Its a good thing I didn't let my parents cut my hair.". Hime took off her old clothing when Topaz left and put on the clothes she was given. After she got dressed Hime put the tail on and wiggled her butt so it would look like it was moving round. She smiled and said "I'm done getting dressed.".

Ace yawned at Topaz's reaction and grinned, "Whatever you say Topaz." She wasn't surprised at Topaz's immediate reaction to her 'sell it' comment. She stood up and walked over to dig around in Odd's bag of food. She found an apple and bit into it. She turned towards Odd, who was munching on his orange slice, and then to Keir, "There's another town not far from here. We were going to do some scouting tonight, and see if we can find anything useful. You in?" She plopped down on the couch. Odd stood and sat down next to her with a sigh, his stomach still feeling slightly empty. He yawned, "Yeah, I want to see if they have a bakery or something. Cake sounds good right about now. If you don't want to go do you have any requests?"

Keir smirked at Odd. "I swear you only think with your stomach." He sighed as he unwrapped a sandwich he had grabbed from the bag. "Its sad really." He then took a bite of his sandwich and swallowed before turning to Ace. "Actually I think I might just come--" His voice trailed off as he turned to see Topaz leading Hime out of the bedroom, dressed as a Volsian. Keir whistled a cat call at her. "Who would have thought a human could make such an attractive Volsian." He said as he stood and put his sandwich on the counter before walking over to Hime and circling her, taking in the disguise. "If I hadn't known you were a human I actually would think you're a Volsian." He said as he stepped in close to her and touched the kitty ears with a smile.

Topaz couldn't help but be jealous by Keir's words. However she just sighed and walked to sit on the couch, crawling back into her shy shell. Her eyes fell on Odd for a moment, who actually wasn't staring at Hime but digging through the bag of food. It made her smile. "Any more chocolate left?" She asked and watched as Odd lifted up one bar of chocolate with a devious smile almost as if to say 'Last one.' which immediately made Topaz lunge forward for it.She scrambled and flailed and was all over the place as she tried to rip the chocolate bar out of Odd's fingers. "Its mine! Hand it over!" She yelled as she had Odd pinned on his stomach and she was laying on his back trying to get her hands underneath him too get to the chocolate. After a few moments of no success Topaz huffed and sat cross legged on Odd's back. She then reached forward and pulled Odd's ears back. "Yeah! Hurts doesn't it! Give me the chocolate and I'll let go!" She said as she pulled a little harder. "Give it to me!" She yelled again, at this point Keir was gaping at her. He had never seen Topaz act this way, ever. No one ever had. It was.. amazing.

Odd let out a groan, "NO! I stole it it's MINE!" He felt the pain in his ears rippling through his skull. It hurt more than anything he'd ever felt in his entire life, "Stop it stop it stop it! You're gonna rip 'em off!" He grinned at Ace, who had jumped up with a devious grin, "GO LONG ACE!" He yelled, and before Topaz could snatch the chocolate bar from him, he threw it through the air towards Ace, who was waiting at the door, ready to run with the sweet treat. As much as he loved chocolate, he wasn't about to get his ears torn off for it. Ace caught the chocolate bar and took off running into the night. He knew that she wouldn't eat it all by herself, and would more than likely share it with him later. He laughed like a psychopath, as if he'd finally obtained world domination. Ace ran as fast as she could down the path, giggling to herself. She'd never seen Topaz get so worked up before, and judging by her reaction to the chocolate, this would probably set her off. He darted into the trees, not looking back to see if she was following. One thing she'd learned as a thief: don't look back. Just keep running until you can't run anymore. It didn't take long before she'd reached the beach and she finally stopped to catch her breath, the cold air and even colder sand feeling good between her toes. It was only a matter of time before Topaz caught up to her and let her have it. But she wasn't going to let all that running be for nothing. She tore open the chocolate bar and took a big bite.

Hime walked out of the room and smiled. She was glad to be out of her PJ's. Hime looked at Keir when he made a weird noise. She blushed when he called her 'an attractive Volsian'. She looked up at him when he was circling her, she felt weird when he did that. When he touched her ears she said "is a Volsian a neko?". She was thinking it was, but didn't know if she was right.

Hime watched Topaz walk over and tried to pry the candy bar from his hand. She laughed when they started fighting over, she couldn't help it, it was just so funny to see them doing that. She watched Odd throw the candy bar to Ace and she watched Ace run away. "You guys are silly." she said still laughing.

The split second that the candy bar left Odd's finger tips and landed in Ace, Topaz was up on her feet dashing after Ace. The little one was quick, but her little legs could only take her so far. Topaz's long legs took her in long strides as she darted in and out of the woods, dodging trees. Finally, she watched as Ace made a sharp turn and went heading for the beach. Topaz slowed her pace and went quietly after her. Once she had Ace in her sights she bolted at full speed toward Ace, before she jumped, arms stretched out in front of her and tackled Ace onto the ground would a loud 'THUMP' against the sand. Topaz scrambled and moved her arms and legs around wildly as she wrestled Ace for the bar, accidentally placing a sand covered foot into Ace's mouth as she yanked the bar out of her hands and ran away like a mad woman. She stopped a few yards away and bit into the chocolate bar. "mmmm. MMMMMM. M-M-M. Mmhm." She said as she chewed slowly and wiggled a bit. Be sore, out of breath, and covered in sand was worth every bite of the chocolate. "The best prize is one that's stolen." She said as she winked at Ace and took another bite of chocolate.

After watching Ace and Topaz dash out of the cabin Keir returned his deep, honey colored eyes to Hime. "Well that was weird.. Topaz never acts like that." He said as he shook his head a bit and laughed. "Volsians are one of the four races on this planet. We're kind of like neko's I guess." He said with a shrug before looking over at the bag of food that was still half full. "Are you hungry at all?" He asked, smiling at her a bit.

Hime nodded and said "Very weird...but kind of funny.". She looked laughed a little more then said "I hope they'll be okay.". She looked at Keir listened t him explain. 'I guess I wasn't that off.' when she looked at the bag her stomach growled a bit, the orange didn't fill her up. She blushed and said "Yeah...I'm still a little hungry.". Hime walked over to the bag and picked it up. She sat on the couch and started to look through it. She pulled out a sandwich and an orang. She unwrapped the sandwich and took a huge bit out of it. She smiled and chewed her food.

Letting out another groan, Odd stood and rubbed his ears. "That's going to hurt in the morning." He said. "I'd better go make sure they don't hurt each other." Odd gave Hime a sweet smile before taking off out the door after them. He knew they couldn't have gotten far. Ace wasn't that fast.
Ace choked on the chocolate and flailed wildly, trying to get Topaz away. She spit the sand from her mouth, coughing and hacking. "Jeez! You crazy freak!" She laughed. It was worth getting kicked in the mouth to watch her freak out over a piece of candy. Candy Ace didn't really get to enjoy, due to the sandy foot taste that now resided in her mouth. She spit again before standing up. "Sooo you got a sweet tooth too huh?" She grinned, "Well I knew you had one, but I didn't think you were crazy for candy." She brushed off her legs and arms, then shook her head. She looked over to see Odd come running out of the bushes. In the moonlight his golden eyes seemed to sparkle, something she hadn't noticed before. She smiled back at him, his wild grin indicating he thought it was funny to see her covered in sand. "You owe me big time fatty." She said as he walked over to her. Odd laughed, "Hey Toppy! My ears are sore because of you!" Which wasn't a lie. His ears throbbed painfully, and hurt to move. His tail flicked back and forth as something caught his attention. He looked over at the ocean, which now looked dark and menacing as the black water crashed against the sand. The wind picked up a bit, and Ace shivered. "I think we should get back to the cabin.." And uneasy feeling in his stomach churned and he thought he was going to be sick as the hair on the back of his neck seemed to stand on end.

Topaz smiled and happily ate her stolen chocolate as she walked over to Odd. "Don't call me that, Odd ball." She said as she placed the last few bites of chocolate into his hands. "I would have shared. But you just had to be difficult." She said rolling her eyes at him, they walked back in silence and once they were inside Topaz watched as Odd slumped down onto the couch, taking her usual spot. Topaz sighed as she walked up behind the couch and began rubbing his hands, she knew she had 'magic hands' as she had rubbed Keir's ears and back many times in the past after a rough night. She rubbed slowly, and didn't work with too much pressure. "I owe you this at least." She paused. "I-I'm sorry.." She said quietly, a blush forming on her face at the way she had acted. But the crew rarely brought sweets back and normally Odd inhaled them before Topaz could even see what they were. Topaz love chocolate and candy more than anything. And she'd even go as far as to pull someone's ears for it. Odd's shoulders were leaning forward a bit, Topaz knew it meant he was beginning to relax. Topaz just continued to rub the base of his ears, moving her nimble fingers along the the sides and tips. Topaz jumped a little as she heard Odd purr, and she giggled as she began to rub again. "Pervert." She giggled, even though she knew Volsian's often purred when relaxed, not just when 'excited'.
