Zera sighed out noticing that it was just a simple animal. As she climbed out of the tree she looked around cautiously for any enemies before she walked back to the Generals tent. Walking in quietly she stood there waiting for him to talk to her, she had nothing else to do really.
|
Dusk heard rustling in the leaves and darted towards it "who is there" she called out nervously as she ran presumably right in to danger
(have her go back but edit your last post cuz there is an occ thread) |
"Thank ya again!" Janus happily rasped and immediately went out the tent, not bothering to salute or anything...which would seem rude, but that's just how the demon was. No one ever taught It anything about manners, anyway. Clutching the head like some golden prize, It bounced off towards Its (fireproof) tent. |
Feori stopped in his tracks. Had someone called out to him? That head tilted to the side, as he listened. He was certain he had heard someone say something. Then he heard the rustling of the grass and underbrush. He barely managed to jump back a few steps and to the side a bit, to keep from literally being run into. "Whoa!"
Feori blinked, his reddish orange eyes settling on the female that had nearly ran into him. Was she the enemy? Actually, he wasn't sure..though he knew he hadn't seen her around any of his camps. His pulse quickened. She might be the enemy. Or maybe some innocent just in the wrong place. "..Err.." |
The nameless girl begins to wake up and take in the surroundings about her present - and moving - location. |
Dusk looked him over "i knew i heard someone out here" she said friend or foe? she asked as she stretched her small wings. She hated the war but there was no doubt she was in the Ezaira army though she appeared to be unarmed.
|
Archer noticed the female waking up. Instantly wary, as one never knows whether someone is capable of incredible close-combat abilities no matter what they looked like, and he certainly wasn't exactly the best of close-combat fighters, he immediately stopped in his strides and set her down, backing a couple of steps away to get a good look at her. |
The nameless girl notices the stranger's hand on... on something. She didn't know why, but she felt a little frightened; at least she was fully awake now. "I am awake." She replied. She looked like she could be eighteen or twenty years old. "Who are you? Where am I?" |
Feori looked her over once, twice more. She didn't seem armed, though that really didn't mean much. He wasn't armed. His eyes widened as he realized she was an enemy. Though he still wasn't entirely sure, just a feeling he got. The kind of feeling that sends shivers down your spine in an unpleasant manner. "I won't hurt you...unless you attack me first." Feori was already taking a few more steps away from the girl. He held his hands out infront of himself, to show her he was unarmed.
|
"I am Archer." He replied. She looked genuinely confused and scared, although there's still the chance that she's faking it. "You are in the Unamed Forest, close to the borders of Ezaira. Who are you and what is your purpose here in these lands? These are dangerous times to be wandering alone out by yourself." He looked her up and down. She did not even appear to be armed.. ((Someone correct me if there's an official name for the forest. :P;;)) |
Dusk watched him "I will not hurt you... my eldest brother is the general of ezaira... I hate war more than anything..." she said sadly looking at him.
|
"I don't understand." The girl replied to Archer. After a moment, she continued, her panic rising the more she spoke. "I don't remember anything about the names you've said. Oh, no. I can't remember anything before now at all!!" She covered her face with her hands. |
Frowning, Archer stared. Either the female was a truly spectacular actor, or she was telling the truth and has amnesia. Neither case was what he really felt like dealing with at the moment. He was supposed to be on break, dammit! |
Feori eyed her warily. She could be lying, it could be a trick or a trap. Taking out a messanger boy could easily hinder an army's movements. Even if that messenger was just out and about to enjoy the forest and not delivering any messages. Feori inhaled deeply, watching her with a hint of distrust and uncertainty. Great, just what had he gotten himself into? Her brother was the General. She probably was trying to capture him then. "...I won't go without a fight if you try to capture me.."
|
Despite Archer's probable hopes that she would know how to identify herself, she shook her head in her hands. "Even if I could, how do you prove you are you? I don't know anything! Do I have parents? I can't remember them if I do. How old am I? Where did I come from? Am I a good person or a bad person?" The babbling did not end there, either; and all during the unnamed girl's babbling she worked herself into a crying frenzy until she puked in the grass to her left. Then she promptly fell sideways into a an almost twisted laying position on the ground, just barely missing the puke puddle. |
Dusk smiled "well then ill let you go..." she said giggling softly as she turned away taking a few steps "I have no reason to capture anyone" she said as she began to walk away.
Agoni and Pein talked for a long while noticing that dusk was still out, they didnt worry to much over her safety she wasn't exactly one you would want to mess with. |
Feori blinked. Wait...what? She wasn't even going to try? He shook his head some to clear it. She was the enemy. It was probably a trick...because that was what the enemy did..wasn't it? They tricked you and took advantage of the situation when your guard was lowered. He bit his bottom lip as he watched her walk away. Uncertain and half convinced it was some kind of trick.
|
Archer winced. He really hoped he wouldn't have to be the one to clean that mess up, being slightly mysophobic. Thankfully it didn't seem as though much of the mess had gotten on the female's clothes...no way in all the seven hells was he going to touch that. |
"you dont realize im being forced against my will to be in this war why would i aid them in anyway..." she said turning to him "my name is Dusk it is very nice to meet you sir" she said bowing to him
|
The unnamed girl push herself upwards almost wearily and checked herself for any puke stains. Obviously finding things in a good enough state, she stood up and was about to take a tentative step or two with a bloody left foot. |
Forced? Feori frowned slightly, perhaps he had been too quick to jump to conclusions. Though, it was only natural, in situations like this, wasn't it? It could still be a trick, he shook his head slightly. "..If you're being forced to be here..why not just run away?" That seemed a simple enough and effecient enough solution to him. She had introduced herself, but he wasn't ready to hand his name out yet to a potential enemy.
|
"My older brothers are the only family I have... our parent were murdered when we were young and i cant force my self to leave my only family i just want the war to be over" she said looking away from him.
|
Hm. So it seemed that he had missed something, after all. He hadn't noticed the female was wounded on the foot. Usually he wasn't one for sympathizing with others, especially when he still had no idea whether the female was friend or foe, but if left to walk on her own, it will probably take all day (and what's left of his break) before they made it back to camp. |
He could understand that. Not wanting to leave one's family. Feori ran a hand through his hair and shrugged slightly. "Most want the war to end..even the ones willingly fighting...I'd like to see it end with peaceful negotiations. Instead of the decimation of one side or the other." It was probably wistful thinking, but he couldn't help that. "With violence, everyone ends up getting hurt. Doesn't matter what side wins. The amount of casualties it costs to win isn't worth it anyway."
|
"Please, I don't want to be a bother." She replied, as she took a step forward. "My troubles don't need to spill onto you. Also, if you need be wary of me then there is something going on that perhaps should make me wary of you." She continued to take a few steps forward slowly, wincing every time she used her bloody left foot, but found she could almost walk at probably a normal pace just fine. |
