Giladrien house:
The Giladrien house is a house for the truly gifted children. Most that come here are orphans who lost their parents, hurt someone, or are emotionally scarred in many ways. In a way, this is something of a mental home. Anyone that comes here simply thinks they snapped and have something wrong with them because of past tragedies. They couldn't be more wrong.
Years ago, a group of people with genetic mutations, giving them inhuman abilities, roamed the earth. They were content with their lives as freaks and outcasts. But towards the end of their lives they decided their powers weren't enough.
They began experimenting.
They gave birth to children, inbred between themselves. They han gave the infants and injection that boosted their powers, making them the most powerful beings on the earth.
These infants grew, and only two out of the ten children were not corrupted by their powers. The remaining eight continued experimenting on their own children, creating the Giladrien house for them, and when the time came, they were either successes, and took over the experiments or failures, and were disposed of.
