Roxas instantly tried to pull his arm away when Axel grabbed him. And didn't stop trying until they had gotten to the room and he was forced inside. He glared at the redhead when the door was locked before turning his attention towards the girl. He was sure that there wasn't anything the redhead could do that would make him believe in vampires. Besides what he just did. When the blond saw him bite the young girl, his eyes went wide. Even though it didn't appear as though the girl was hurt in any way. His eyes automatically turned back to Axel and then narrowed into a glare. He was really starting to hate this guy.

Axel smiled when he saw the hate in the blond's eyes. He turned back to the girl. "Thank you Maria. You may go now. Please lock the door behind you." He waited for the girl to leave then turned back to the boy. "So do you believe now?"

Roxas continued to glare at the redhead. He didn't answer right away, still thinking about it. The blond nodded slightly. "Yes. I do believe you." he said, a bit reluctantly. He didn't really want to admit that though.

Axel smiled at the blond. "So you believe me, hm? Well then that means there are more of us right? They are in this very building and I am the master here. You will listen and in front of others you will obey. You wouldn't want one of the others to get ahold of you, right? If you want to disobey you are free to do so when we are alone. What do you have to say now?"

Roxas was silent for a moment. The blond thought about it for a moment. "I don't care what you say. I am not going to obey you. You are not my master. I obey nobody. And that is never going to change." he stated. He crossed his arms across his chest as he glared at the redhead.

Axel sighed. This boy just won't listen. It was getting to late or really to early though. The rest of the vampires had already gone to sleep and if he had dared to look out a window he would see the sun.

"Fine mortal, do not obey. See how long you survive here. I am going to sleep. You are free to go. You will not be allowed outside. The exits are guarded. As are the rooms that we sleep in. If you value your life find the other slaves. They will show you where you can bathe and give you food. And they will keep you away from the vampires and their humans that would kill you."

He stood up and pushed the blond over to the door. He quickly unlocked it then pushed him out. He shut the door then walked to his bed and fell asleep.

Roxas turned and glared at Axel when he was pushed out of the room. He really did hate that guy so much. But might as well do what was said. He really didn't want to die. So he started down the hallway searching for one of the redhead's slaves. At least, one of the two that he had seen/met before. Though he seemed to be having trouble finding them. Or anybody for that matter. Why was this so hard? He sighed and leaned against a wall, extremely tired.

Maria walked out of a room with a robe wrapped around her. Everyone had gone to sleep because they had taken to the same hours as the vampires. That was of course other then the day guards. She liked this time though because she was the only one about. She had gone and taken a quick shower after feeding Axel. She still found it weird but it was better then her last life. No one beat her and she always had food.

She turned and almost walked into the newest slave. "Oh, I'm sorry... I seem to have missed your name. Do you need help?"

Roxas looked at the girl who ran into him. It was the girl from earlier. The one Axel fed from. "My name's Roxas. I was told to find one of the slaves and that they would help me out." he told her. The girl looked fine, but he couldn't help but be a bit concerned about her. Nobody would be fine after someone drank their blood.

"Nice to meet you then Roxas. I'm Maria. We won't help you out but I can certainly help you." She laughed at her small joke. "If you need a bath it is the room behind me but if you would like food or a room to sleep I could show you the way." She smiled and touched her neck. I know he is curous about it. All of the new ones are. She could see the concern. "Don't worry about me. He never takes much from us. He took less then if I had donated blood." She smiled at him and dropped her hand.

Roxas thought about the first things for a moment. A bath would definitely be nice. But he was extremely tired. And also hungry. But that could all wait until later. "I just want someplace to sleep." the blond told her. "And you shouldn't let him do that to you. No matter how much it is that he takes from you."

Maria shrugged. "I don't have many choices. I can let him do that and have a good life here. He protects me, feeds me, and I get special perks for being a feeder. I could be given to a different vampire but I would die within a year. I could be sold again but I don't even want to imagine the kind of person who would buy me. He would let me leave if I asked but I have no where to go. I could go back to my father but I would die there easier then here. Sometimes there are hard choices in life and this was mine."

She thought about it for a moment. "I am going to guess you would rather sleep alone? There aren't that many rooms so all the female slaves sleep together as do the males. A few of us have our own rooms as perks. I have my own room. You could sleep there." With that she started walking to her room. It was just a hall away. She came to her door and opened it. She had the second best room in fact. The head slave had a bigger room and her own bathroom but Maria's room had storage rooms on either side so there was never any noise.

Roxas actually understood why Maria was here. But that didn't mean that he himself wanted to stick around. Not since he wasn't getting any choice about being here. He would rather choose anything else than this. He didn't really trust Axel. Not at all.

"Yes. I would rather sleep alone." he stated. He was a bit surprised that she had her own room. Especially since apparently most slept together. He followed after the girl down to her room. "..You wouldn't mind if I stayed in here?" the blond asked.

She walked into her room and looked around. It was always clean and the sheets had been changed already so everything was fine. "It would be the only way for you to sleep alone and I don't mind. I can sleep with the other girls." She walked back to the door. "Is there anything you need?"

"No.. There isn't anything I need." Roxas said. The blond looked around the room. It was a pretty nice room. Then he turned back to Maria. "Though I feel bad about kicking you out of your room." He really did feel bad. He didn't like having to force her out of her room just because he wanted to sleep alone.

"Well unless you want company" she winked at him, "there isn't another solution. Don't feel bad. If I didn't want you in here I wouldn't have invited you. I've been here three years and had this room for two and a half. I can survive a bit without it." She turned to leave then paused to see if he had anything else to say. He is cute and sweet. I see why Axel picked him.

Roxas shook his head slightly at the first thing. He didn't want company. He wanted to be alone. "I still am sorry about it....But sleep well.." the blond told her, not really knowing what else to say. The next moment, he yawned loudly. He really was exhausted, so he went over to the bed and sat down. It was pretty comfy, so he figured he would fall asleep quickly.

Maria laughed. I was only joking. She walked outside the room and started to shut the door. "Sleep well Roxas." She closed the door and walked to the women's room and found a bed and fell on to it to sleep. I hope he starts to listen to Axel. I like him.

Roxas laid back on the bed and pulled the covers up to his chin. The blond's eyes slipped closed and he was almost instantly asleep. Today had been terrible. Hopefully, tomorrow was better. If it wasn't, then he was going to have to find a way out of here.

Axel woke up just as the sun passed below the horizen. The newer vampires wouldn't be up for at least another hour but the rest would be getting up soon. He stood up and started walking around his house like he did every night. He stopped at Maria's door thinking about a snack but passed on.

Roxas slept for about an hour past sunset. When he woke, he had no idea where he was for a moment. But then it all came back to him. Groaning, he rolled out of bed. He really didn't want to be here. Maybe he could just stay in here all night. But he didn't like just sitting around doing nothing. He needed to be doing something or he would go insane.

Axel stopped in the kitchen and sat down. Soon the slaves started showing up and a few started cooking. He sat out of the way. While he didn't eat he did enjoy watching them in the morning. Anna and Maria came over and sat next to him. They were his two favorite slaves and were the oldest. He trusted them both and had offered them both freedom but they had stayed. Before long a male slave brought them over a plate of food. Axel smiled as they ate and started thinking about his newest slave. He sighed thinking about the night before.

Roxas walked around the place, having no idea where he was going. He really should have paid more attention when he was running around earlier. It would have been so much more helpful. For now though, he just stopped in front of every door to see what was inside until he finally found the kitchen. But when he saw that Axel was in there, he didn't go in. He didn't want to be near the redhead right now.

Axel looked over when he felt another heartbeat. He gave a smirk when he saw it was Roxas. "Hello Roxas. Why don't you come in and eat? I've been told that they are really good cooks." He nodded at the male slave from before to bring over more food.

Anna kept eating but Maria turned and looked over at Roxas and smiled. "I hope you slept good. Come and eat."

Roxas automatically glared at Axel when the redhead spoke to him. He went over to Maria when she spoke to him and sat down next to her. The blond only came in because she asked. Not because of Axel. And because he was starving. He couldn't even remember when he last ate. And the food did smell very good.
